except yang doesn't know that about adam yet?? like she (and by extension we, the audience) figure that adam is an abusive ex lover later on but at that time all she knows is that he was close to blake and then suddenly changed. she literally lacks the context needed to be upset. you the audience member know from watching the rest of the show and then have constructed this ass backwards narrative in order to make blake look bad. i'm baffled.

You're right, Yang has zero context about Adam. She's crying because she's scared that Blake, her partner and the girl she's starting to have serious feelings for doesn't believe her.

Just saw a pair of rwde's trying to put the blame of Clover's death on Qrow and their "evidence" was of a screen shot of Qrow landing the aura-breaking punch to Clover. "Clover had Tyrian restrained, Qrow did not need to do it!" "Protagonist centered morality, RWBY are the ones at fault for things!" And other cries they make. It just boggles the mind at times. Like, Qrow intitially did try to focus on Tyrian, but Clover kept getting in the way. Yes, taking Tyrian's deal was a foolish mistake on Qrow's part, but let's not ignore that Clover wasn't really helping by trying constantly getting in the way. And one of the rwde's even claimed that "Clover dying changed nothing, as Qrow is still arrested", which ignores how Clover's death effected both Qrow and Harriet and their courses in the following volume.

Nitpick November was made because people were whining about how RWBY Critics sound like they're nitpicking RWBY and so people were like, "hey, this is what'd happen if we were nitpicking."

Why does the RWDE venerate the Trailers? A single word:

"Projection."

In those days, the personalities of each girl were what you made of them with enough plausible deniability to make it fit until further notice. Yang was a bit more meatier in terms of her personality but mainly one side of it. Otherwise, anything goes.

And then the actual story was underway. Said "notice" was no longer "further." Ruby was a dork, not some silent emo badass. Weiss was a total mean girl, not some shirking violet. To name a few.

Imagine what happened with Adam stans and how they couldn't cope with Volume 3's expansion on him but with others. So many were too invested in what THEY made that they forgot that the source material had the final say whether they liked it or not.

I feel like trailers like that can have a double edged sword. They can provide enough of a preview of one side of the show's vibe but the other, more goofier elements might catch you off guard no matter how well they mesh.

Funny how the pendulum has swung back around to Blake being "toxic" when for the longest time the HTDM was sure that Yang was going to be angry and abusive but her doe-eyed gentleness during the confession pretty much ended that line of argument.

Blake has pretty consistently been a punching bag for a long time though, my guess is the biphobia.

So, RWDE is currently hate-jerking over an extremely negative review of Rooster Teeth that was recently posted on Glassdoor. Now, note that:

a.) as far as I can tell, you need a Glassdoor account to view stuff on Glassdoor (it was pestering me to log in after one screen) b.) said review is just a long list of accusations about RT, including bringing up things that were resolved years ago (such as Grey Haddock diverting funds to gen:Lock) c.) Glassdoor can't verify if a review was written by someone who actually has worked at a company.

But what makes this really interesting is the fact that this recently review is being spread by someone who posted about it on the 18th of this month...when the review was written on the 14th. And from a quick check, Glassdoor does state that it can several days for a review to appear on their site.

So what this strongly implies is either:

a.) someone who obsessively checks Rooster Teeth on Glassdoor to see if any negative reviews have been posted b.) someone who just happened to know that this negative review had appeared, almost immediately after it was visible on Glassdoor

And if you think this is a stretch—trust me, I've seen many RWBY "critics" come up with blatantly-deranged opinions on how Rooster Teeth and CRWBY work, for literally no reason but to vilify the company for their own invented and unsubstantiated nonsense.

Tl;dr, RWDE folks are really pathetic people~

It always amazes me how anti-RWDE crowd are so lacking in self-reflection that they unironically say things like “Just block and move on” , how RWDE “floods the main tag” and the like. When that is literally what anti-RWDE crowd does. Here is an edited copypasta that i have seen from them, their original copypasta blames everything on the critics, i will switch it to reflect reality. “The anti-RWDE will always find something to be mad about huh. They start drama by flooding the RWDE tag talking about critics, looking for attention from them. When they know they can block the people they are complaining about and delete the asks that they get, that are offensive.” (Yes, some anti-RWDE people actually said that it is the critics flooding tags, despite the fact that RWDE was created for people to BLOCK it if they didnt want to see those takes. And yes, they did say that critics can delete asks that are offensive, while literally blowing up their own asks every time they get a negative on. And yes, they did say that critics can block people, while anti-RWDE does that, and STILL engages with RWDE by screenshoting takes and going behind blocks) The second paragraph would be the same as the first. And it just makes me think.

Do any of the anti-RWDE crowd have any self-awareness? They literally do all of the things they blame critics doing.
