The door with the frosted window across from her desk bursts open, making some papers fly off the desk, and Steve yanks down the necktie that hangs loose around his neck. Shirt sleeves rolled up to expose some forearm tattoos, scalp glistening in sweat, and his hair is imprinted with the lines of his fingers from running a hand through it all day.

You get to your feet, but Steve doesn't see you. Robin puts the receiver to her chest to hear what he has to say, but her eyes keep darting to you.

"My cupboards are stocked with Ramen noodles in case you want a movie night this weekend," he stretches his arms wide with a hearty yawn. The next part he says in a whisper, "unless you're still dating what-her-face with the hyena laugh from the Estee Lauder counter at the mall."

Robin puts the phone back to her ear and says a cordial goodbye to whoever was on the other line, and then she hangs up and tries to gesture in your direction.

I’m feeling so many feelings about AHFH winding down, but I am also very excited about all of the additional situations I can put Grace and Hob and Morpheus in with an established relationship!

I am so incredibly here for pregnant Grace and for absolutely everything that goes along with the process of it. I think you are right on the money about Morpheus, it’s such an incredibly meaningful thing for him, and getting to create in that way, being that close with one of the people that he loves? Very into that. I am also so very into the world of possibility of dirty talk that this opens up for Hob, a man who cannot and will not stop running his mouth.

I have SO many thoughts about Hob and Morpheus and where they’re both at in terms of their relationship to fatherhood and the grief of the loss of their sons. They both went through something so similar but dealt with it in such vastly different ways, and seeing how that might crop up in a situation like this…much to consider! Not to mention all of the ways that raising a child has changed…

Oh, they’re all absolutely very proud of themselves, especially once the pregnancy really starts to show. She looks so beautiful, she’s glowing, they’re all so happy…and they did that!!! That’s their baby!
