Fronte di Zaporozhye, carristi ucraini simulano danni ai propri mezzi per non essere mandati a combattere - Spiegel
Nel corso dell'offensiva delle Forze Armate ucraine, sul fronte meridionale (quello di Zaporozhye), ci sono carristi che si rifiutano di andare in battaglia, simulando danni ai propri Leopard giunti dalla Germania. Queste dichiarazioni sono state rilasciate alla alla rivista tedesca Spiegel da tre carristi ucraini addestrati per 5 settimane a Münster.
I militari intervistati dai giornalisti tedeschi non condannano le scelte del loro colleghi, comprendendo che il rischio di finire inceneriti è elevato.
Nei primi giorni della controffensiva sono stati distrutti diversi Leopard. Dopo i primi duri colpi subiti, secondo i militari ucraini, diverse battaglie sono diventati caotiche, tanto che diverse unità ucraine si sono sparate a vicenda accidentalmente.
Ciò ha comportato un prezzo elevato in termini di perdite sia di mezzi che di uomini.
In questi giorni continuano le battaglie lungo le direzioni di Pyatikhatki, Malaya Tokhmachka e Velykaya Novoselka, dove i piccoli villaggi continuano a passare di mano in mano, senza sensibili spostamenti della linea del fronte.
