i keep thinking about the datamined conversation between halsin and minthara and what gets me about it is that if you side with halsin and turn minthara away, thats objectively the bad choice.

like at this point, you've rescued minthara from moonrise. you know now that she was being controlled to act against her will. you've gone to the trouble of rescuing her from her tormentors, and you've experienced what it felt like as they tried to destroy her mind. you know what will happen to her if you turn her away. and if you do, you're willingly condemning her to that fate. you've essentially allowed her to experience freedom, to regain her sense of self, only to tear that away from her again.

whereas if you side with minthara, and halsin leaves, that's the only consequence he experiences. that he's not a companion anymore. at this point, we've saved the grove, we've saved him, and we've lifted the shadow curse. we've helped him achieve what hes been hoping to do for over a century. leaving your party won't see him lose his free will. he can return to the grove and live his life.

the choice is essentially either condemn someone to a fate worse than death, knowing exactly what that entails vs not letting someone travel with you anymore. its pretty clear cut to me.

its just interesting to me that they've switched the morality of it around given that minthara is considered the 'evil' companion by so many.

Of all the things that could have gone wrong today, raph did not think it would have gone this badly. That was for sure. It was a seemingly normal mission they had gone on. Nothing out of the ordinary! Well, except this particular opponent had a knack for changing the size of things. Animals, objects, people.. Thats how raph ended up in this situation. They went in blind, and got cocky. Raph's caution regarding his size at a mere six feet was blatantly obvious, and it was that weakness that caused them to loose this fight.

Raph, now about twice his normal size, had to use the subway tunnels just to get back home. He was too big to get in through anywhere but the garage. He felt claustrophobic to say the least. Before it was tough being a foot taller and much bulkier than his brothers. Now it was upsetting. He doesnt fit through the doors, he cant go relax and goof off with his brothers, he cant even go take a nap! He takes up a good portion of the common room so his brothers cant goof around either..

He was sitting with his legs hugged up to his body, his head resting on his knees. He would hide in his shell but he was scared that if he wasnt careful he would break something coming back out. Like accidentally punching a wall whenhe sticks his arms back out. He kept trying to think but any time he came up with a possible way to sit this out or make it more managable, his dumb brain shot it down with an irrational contradiction! But.. he couldnt help it. He had hurt his brothers by mistake just being 6 feet tall. Now it was way worse!

He was distracted from his anxious sulking when he spotted his younger brother approaching. Leo. Probably here to make jokes. Leo seemed to have noticed his brother had spotted him, qnd waved up at him. "Hey, big guy! Mind giving me a lift?" Leo asked. Raph immedeatley hesitated, his head ducking into his shell a little because he was upset. What if-

"Raph. I have a portal sword. I'll be fine!" Leo reminded, practically already knowing what his big brother was doing. Leo had seen him do it a million times. Raph was a little caught off guard by the call out. He hesitated before reaching down to floor level so he could climb on. This was fine. He cant accidentally crush him.

Leo sighed. Well, thats progress. He got onto his brother's hand, and sat criss-crossed in his palm as he was lifted. He looked up at his big brother as he was brought to his eye level. "See? You didnt drop me." He said. Raph looked to the side nervously. He felt bad for worrying his little brothers. Leo reached out, resting his hand on his brother's face to comfort him. "Hey, we're gonna fix this! Its not as bad as you're making it out to be. Its inconvenient, sure, but its not that big a deal. Besides! You're super strong, you can beat up bad guys all the time." He said, trying to pep talk his brother.

"Yeah, thats the problem Leo. Im huge, and super strong. I know my own strength when im like a third of my current size! What am i gonna do if someone gets hurt.." he said, looking very upset and concerned. He was careful not to jostle his little brother.

Leo listened and smiled at his brother. "Dont think like that, raph? If you worried any more, and werent bald, you'd have grey hairs by now." He joked. "No one is gonna get hurt. We're gonna sort this out bo problem. Me, april, donnie, and mikey are gonna help you. We're gonna get through this." He said, leaning forward to rest his head against the bridge of his brother's snout. Thats as close as they can get to a hug.

Raph listened to his brother's dumb pep talk. He sighed. He couldnt help but feel a little pride. When had his little brother gotten so good at these goofy speeches? He chuckled softly, finally cracking a snaggle toothed grin as his brother rested his head against his. "..thanks, Leo." He said.

He's too busy for his own good; completing patrols and missions, attending events, making appearances, writing reports??? Its all a LOT. He'll probably come home to eat dinner with you once (twice, if hes lucky) a month.

You know how hard it is on him. He would always sit down and eat dinner with his mom when he was younger and not being able to sit down and relax was stressful. One day you decided to surprise him! You two share your locations so you made dinner and went out to bring him food. You two ate on this agency's fire escape- He was so happy!! You remember that scene when spiderman ate a churro while sitting on the ledge of a building? thats yall. After that, he makes sure these midnight picnics are a daily thing- he wouldnt miss patrol dinners for the world

You were pissed off when your mum said you need to work your lazy ass off. Well, if it's on the summer break, you'll most likely agree with her. But it's only the weekend, and you've been studying your ass off these days. A lazy weekend is something you earned, but your mum decided to rain on your lazy parade.

With all those groans and deep sighs, you storm off your house wearing your workout gear. Not much, only a windbreaker jacket paired with shorts and running shoes. Popping your airpods on both of your ears to blast some jams, you take some light jogging steps on your neighborhood. It's only 4.30 pm, and kinda windy, why the fuck are you doing this? That's right, because mum literally compared you to your neighbor's daughter, Giselle, who recently won a karate tournament. Now mum won't even shut up how much she wants an active daughter, not the lazy one. Yikes.

Back to the streets by Saweetie & Jhene Aiko plays, and you hear a message notification on your airpods. Still on your light jogs, you glance at the notification.

You send the messages to Yeri to prove her the weather is fine, and indicates that you agree to go to Lucas' house tonight, it's a great night to probably get wasted after all those tiring run mum decided to toss on you. It's gonna be fun, anyways. But the thing about hanging out with Lucas and his senior friends.. You might've developed a big fat crush with one of Lucas' closest friends, Xiaojun. 

You barely had an interaction with him, though, because he's usually the quiet and calm one in Lucas' closest friends group. Lucas himself is already so fucking loud, not to mention Hendery, the good-looking clown and moodmaker. There's also Jungwoo, the one who looks very calm but actually won't shut up once you talk to him. Mark too, the giggly one with some lame jokes. Well, going to Lucas' party tonight means you can see Xiaojun, probably getting the chances that you'll have some interaction over some boozes or something is also quite high.

After feeling all warmed up, you decide to give yourself a run around the block. Yeri's right, it's a funny weather to run. It's windy, but the more you stay outside, the cloud is getting darker and darker. You also knew that you're not really alone, who's doing this athletic bullshit in this kind of weather, you noticed that a boy is also doing this silly run when you were typing messages to Yeri. Probably just another neighbor's child being scolded by his mum of how Giselle is so athletic that his mum also wants an active son? Welp, you didn't see his face anyway, you were glued to the phone when you saw the figure running from the side.

It's not even a minute after you started running, Yeri already replied again. Is she really that bored that she doesn't have anything to do?

You stop running and stare at her messages. Raining? Is she drunk or what? It's not even 5pm yet and here she is, hallucinating-

Oop. There it goes. You feel some water drops on your head. Your hand. It was slow at first, but then the raindrops are getting harder and harder, it's pouring. 

"Motherfu-" you let out a curse, you should've trusted Yeri on this. As an intuitive homo sapiens with XX chromosomes, you scan through the streets, looking for some shelter to wait the rain to stop. Spotting a bus stop with a large steel canopy, you run like your life depended on it, avoiding the rain.

Finally arriving, you sigh and sit on the installed chair, typing messages to Yeri.

You sigh as you shuffle through your playlist, looking for some fun jams to pass your time through the rain, when somebody suddenly approaches you.

"Hi, do you mind if I take a seat here?" a boy asks, pointing to the chair next to you. You look up, and suddenly the next thing you wanna do is ascend your soul the fuck out of your body to the sky. 

Oh boy. It's Xiaojun. The boy you won't shut up about. He’s wearing a white loose tank and grey sweatpants, drenched in his own sweat. Oh god. This is truly an attack for you. What the fuck is he doing here? And why must you meet him at your mess like being all salty because of those running fiasco and the rain? While wearing your not-so-fashionable workout gear and not-so-tidy ponytails? Oh god.

You can feel your heart is about to explode when you realize that he is actually the person who is also doing the stupid running at this very weather, you just didn't notice it sooner because you were on your damn phone. Damn, mum was right, everything happened because you were always on your damn phone.

"No, of course! Take a seat!" you answer him, trying your best to crack your sweetest smile although it's more like sweatiest not sweetest.

He smiles back at you, taking a seat next to you, then his eyes get back to his phone, completely glued. Damn this is the only cardio that is worth it, no running, no jumping, no huff that huff this, only sitting next to Xiaojun on a rainy day on a bus stop. Wonderful.

You quickly whip up the messaging app to type all kinds of gibberish and send it to Yeri. She knows what shit is about to go down when you speak gibberish to her.

You smile back at him, holding the panic you’ve been keeping since he mentioned Doyoung’s name. “Yep. I’m his sister.”

“Oh god, why didn’t I notice that earlier? I could’ve taken care of you at school!” he exclaims, and you sure you just wanna evaporate to the rain. Him? Taking care of you at school? YES PLEASE!

You let out a small giggle, trying to be as calm as possible when in reality you’re very sure you just wanna melt like a goddamn popsicle on a hot summer day. “So, how do you know my brother, actually?”

He laughs a bit, wiping away the sweat on his forehead. Oh god, he’s just so beautiful. “Well.. Doyoung and I used to be a dynamic duo in the school's choir, until he graduated.”

Oh, that. Doyoung is pretty serious about his career in the school’s choir, but you did not expect that Xiaojun is actually a part of it. Of course, he has the face of an angel, the voice is included.

“Now I know why Doyoung never let me come to his house. Turns out he has a cute- I mean, h-he has a sister, and that’s you! M-Maybe he’s afraid I’ll bother you or s-something.” he continues, stuttering a bit, and letting out an awkward laugh. You laugh again, feeling the blood rushing to your cheeks that you can’t hide no more. DID HE JUST SAY DOYOUNG HAS A CUTE SISTER? DID HE JUST SAY YOU’RE CUTE? DID HE-

But then, good things always come to an end. The goddamn rain stops. Oh fuck, no more chitter chatter with the dear crush. Just when it is the fucking time you need to hear the goddamn wedding bells, the rain decided to stop on your rain parade. Fuck.

He looks up, and seems like noticing the rain has stopped. “Well, Y/n. Lucas is having a party tonight, are you coming?”

You can feel your cheeks are still heating from his words, you shyly nod to him. Welp, maybe the rain has stopped, but this stupid crush? No. It goes on. Very much.

He stands up, straightening his white loose tank, getting ready to probably sprint back home. “Okay. See you tonight then, I’m going home. Have a good run!” he says as he walks away from the bus stop, leaving you dumbfounded. And lovestruck. That’s a win, alright.

Xiaojun slowly fades away from your view, and you’re still drowning on your pool of love. Yep, that’s it. You can’t even hold it, you quickly dial Yeri’s number to break out the news.

“What is it, Y/n? You literally left me on read for like 14 minutes straight and now you-”

“YERI LISTEN I’M GETTING MARRIED TONIGHT AND THAT’S A FUCKING FACT!” you shout to the phone, you can picture Yeri is probably goggling out her eyes right now.

“Girl, just because Xiaojun just asked you why the fuck were you running at times like this it doesn’t mean-”

“HE CALLED ME CUTE!” you blurted out,cutting her sentences for the second time,

“-you’re getting married- WHAT?? HE CALLED YOU WHAT?” Yeri yelled from the phone, now it’s pretty clear that Yeri is probably jumping her ass off right now.

You sprint your way to home, while holding your phone to your ears, continuing to give Yeri the details about the bus stop conversation you had earlier. Now she’s just yelling at you to pick the right dress and pamper yourself up, the probability you’ll marry Xiaojun at Lucas’ party is increasing. Sure it does.

It’s 11.28 PM, 3 hours and a half since you and Yeri just arrived at Lucas’ house, escaping from Doyoung’s warning to you, to get back in one piece, and most importantly, sober. As if you’re gonna leave Lucas’ house sober, that’s funny, alright. You and Yeri were greeted by Yangyang and Donghyuck, who are currently setting up the table for snacks and drinks. That was probably the first time you saw Donghyuck ever setting up something, because if not, Jungwoo would’ve set his ass on fire.

The party madness has started, seems like everybody already has enough alcohol running on their system. Lucas is already losing his shirt and starts twerking in the middle of his house along with Jaemin and Jungwoo. Ah yes, the thot trio already started their thing, and all you have to do is just stay back and avoid getting dragged to the dance mess, because the chance of Jungwoo and Jaemin will start grinding at you is kinda high right now.. Considering their.. Twerking fiasco.

You sit back on the couch and watch your friends getting crazy over the playlist Yangyang made just for this event, sipping on your cocktails that Donghyuck put god-knows-what in it, he said it’s just cherry juice mixed with gin and brandy, but somehow it tastes kinda citrusy. You glance to the right, only to see Yeri making out with some random guy (probably one of Lucas’ friends named Changbin but oh well, that’s Yeri’s business).

Slightly grossed out and sad because apparently you’re not making out with Xiaojun right now, you make your way to the patio, and find the crowd that circle around a spinning bottle. Interested, you join Jeno, Mark, Renjun, Yeji, Hyunjin, Sungchan, Karina, Vernon, Hendery, and of course, the (hottest) most important person right now, Xiaojun.

“Welcome! As a newly joined member.. Truth or dare?” Jeno greets you as you take a seat between Mark and Sungchan. Well, you’d love to sit beside Xiaojun, but apparently, that seat is already taken by Hendery and Vernon.

You silently glance at Xiaojun, who is wearing a denim jacket with light-yellow knit top underneath, paired with white trousers. Damn, he looks so damn good that you wanna cry a river.

Your head comes back to the question Jeno asked. Today’s your day, be bold or bald. It’s time. “Well, I’m not gonna put my drunk antics to waste. Dare then.” you answer boldly, earning a few ‘ooooh’s from your friends.

Jeno snickers. Well, fuck. Guess you’re a bit too damn bold tonight, the realization suddenly hits you like a fucking trainwreck, Jeno is kinda extreme for games like this. Wrong choice, y/n. You gulp as you wait for Jeno to come up with something.

“I dare you to kiss Xiaojun!” Jeno exclaims, clapping both of his hands like a goddamn happy seal. Mark and Hendery are high-fiving right now, throwing whistles around Xiaojun, who is silent as a fucking rock.

Oh god. Things you’ve said about not putting your drunk antics to waste should’ve stayed in that goddamn draft. This is where Jeno takes you, even though you’re secretly happy that you finally get to kiss your goddamn crush, that shit is EMBARRASSING. If you wanna evaporate to the waters, then it’s probably the right time to do it.

But why Xiaojun though? Is your big fat crush on him too obvious?

You freeze on the spot as you awkwardly smile and stare at Jeno. This shit can’t be real. Jeno is goddamn crazy. You can feel the air is getting hot, whether it’s because the alcohol starts kicking in, or just because the blood is rushing through your head.

“Scared, aren’t you?” Jeno taunts you, sipping his beer as the rest of the group laugh except you and Xiaojun, who is currently staring at you with a questionable expression. Is he pleased? Or is he pissed? Oh god.

“I-I’m not!” you answer him, leaning to Xiaojun, gulping once more before asking him, “You’re okay with this though?”

Xiaojun smirks, “How can I say no to you?” he asks back, accompanied by a few ‘ayyy~’ from the boys, sending butterflies to your stomach. Your face is probably as red as a tomato by now.

Good god. Is this the same Xiaojun who is quiet, calm, and collected among his friends? Why suddenly he is so bold? Oh, he’s probably just drunk and won’t remember this kiss anyway.. You lean closer to him, closing the gap between his face and yours by sealing the kiss. His lips are soft yet firm, almost like a grape jelly you had earlier this afternoon, with a hint of vodka, of course.

After a few seconds, you finally pull out and linger your eyes on him. It’s beautiful, and mesmerizing. You just wish that you can see it again, and only for you, no one else. As you get back to your seat, you take one more last glance at him, that is currently also glancing at you, with his cheeks red.

Okay. You definitely heard the wedding bells, thanks Jeno. That’s probably one of your dreams, and thanks to Jeno, it came true. But unfortunately, Xiaojun probably won’t feel the same, or worse, he’ll probably forget about it tomorrow.

Everyone claps, exchanging happy exclaims and cheers as if you just said ‘I do’ to Xiaojun lol, when in reality, you were just doing the dare Jeno gave you. You gulp bitterly as the game goes on and on.

It’s an hour past midnight, 1.12 AM to be exact. Thank god you’re not that shitfaced, but Yeri is. She is not even capable of doing anything anymore except being all smiley and shit, Changbin already drove her home like fifteen minutes ago, leaving you behind in Lucas’ lair. You suddenly felt the urge to thank god that Yeri made a fantastic decision last minute before picking you up, she used a taxi instead of driving. If she hadn’t, you’re probably stuck driving her home right now.

You scan through the house while leaning through the stair railings, looking for an easy target to get a free ride. Finally spotted your friends, you now have 3 choices : Donghyuck (who is currently seducing some random girl), Yangyang (who is now playing mobile games with Jaemin and Chenle), or Mark (who recently just hit a goddamn blunt, but he’s very capable to drive).

You sip your glass of water, making up your mind for your ride home. But then, suddenly someone taps on your shoulder.

“Do you wanna go home? Like, right now? I can drive you- I mean, our house is like, near.” you hear Xiaojun speaking to you, holding his car keys on his left hand.

Good gracious, is this even real? Like, Xiaojun, is actually asking you to go home with him? Is this real? Or are you just hallucinating from the goddamn weed you take 10 minutes ago from Lucas?

You stare at him blankly. He bit his lip, “I mean- If you wanna stay longer- or probably-”

“Yes, of course! Let’s go.” you smile at him, cutting off his words.

3 times in a day. Good job, Y/n! The wedding is up ahead!

He smiles and gives you a gesture, “Ladies first.”

The drive is not as awkward as you thought. Turns out, Xiaojun is full of surprise though, you nearly choked when he said he once formally apologized to Doyoung before he stood up to defend the dignity of Mint Chocolate Chip flavored ice cream. It’s delightful to find out that he has similar tastes as you, from ice cream flavor to music and school subjects.

Xiaojun also told you the reason why he was on the run earlier, he was bored. Damn, look at it, the difference between a forced daughter whose mum wants an active child, and a bored model-student. He said he didn’t expect to see you because he was embarrassed, he was drenched in sweat.

You can feel the butterflies on your stomach grow wilder and wilder from every word he said, or maybe it’s just the way he smiles when he talks to you? Welp, if it’s anything to do with Xiaojun, you’ll most likely get butterflies.

Just when you thought he was drunk, he is not. He’s capable of driving you home and carrying on some fun convos, also remembering little things. So.. perhaps, he is not going to forget the kiss you shared because of Jeno’s dare?

As you keep on exchanging conversation with him, suddenly it’s time to get off his car and get back to your house, get ready to deal with Doyoung’s nags and scolds for getting home this late.

You giggle as you take the seat belt off, smiling at the brown haired boy.

“Thank you for driving me home, Xiaojun. It was fun.” you say to him, waving him goodbye as you open the door. He smiles and waves back at you.

Just when you’re about to open the gate of your house, you hear the sound of slamming car doors. You turn around and see Xiaojun standing in front of you, eyes sparkling like a goddamn star. Unfortunately, it’s not Christmas.. If it is, all you want for Christmas is to stare at Xiaojun’s beautiful eyes all day, and probably get married to him.

“Um.. Y/n.. I don’t know how to say this but.. The kiss you gave me earlier, it’s kinda..” he starts, smiling sheepishly.

Oh god, what now? It’s kinda what? Gross? You swear you’ll kill Jeno if you hear that from Xiaojun.

You gaze at him as you wait for him to complete his sentences.

“It’s kinda.. Making me feel.. Things.” he finally continues, rubbing the back of his neck while looking away from you, flustered. It’s pretty cute.

You giggle at him a little, the butterflies come back, or maybe they never even left?

“Don’t laugh, Y/n. I’m being honest, I was pretty embarrassed to run into you during sheltering, and now you’re laughing at me for-”

You let out a big laugh before you pull him to another kiss. This one is a bit longer, more passionate and intimate, unlike the one you had before. He cups your cheek as you feel him smiling during the kiss.

“I’m sorry if I invaded your privacy- but your fast typing was very.. Intriguing.. I might’ve seen you texting Yeri at the bus stop.” he giggles after you pull out from the kiss.

Yikes. You feel like you’re about to burst now. He saw you texting Yeri? What kind of clownery is this? Did he see you typing- oh god, that’s too embarrassing to remember.

“No! That’s too embarrassing!” you cover your face, he laughs once more.

“Now, which church are we going to? I’m pretty sure you said we’re getting married tonight, right?” he takes your hands off your face, grinning widely.

You pout and lightly hit him, only to be attacked by his hugs a second later. Aww, finally, dreams do come true. You stay on his embrace for a few more minutes, no talking, just comfortable silence and realization that you’re on Xiaojun’s arms right now.

You glance at your watch, Doyoung would be furious by now. Telling him that you really have to go before Doyoung can rise from his sleep and beat your ass, you finally wave goodbye to him as he gets back to his car.

Finally entering the house, you’re greeted by Doyoung who’s standing in front of you, holding a bowl of salad on his right hand.

“So, kissing Xiaojun in front of my salad?” he raises his eyebrow.

You stick out your tongue as you make your way upstairs. Technically, not in front of Doyoung’s salad, because the door was closed. He’s probably looking through the window, such a nosy brother. You laugh at the thought of Doyoung getting furious while eating his salad as you get a message.

Xiaojun : so, see you at school? Xiaojun : can’t wait to hold your hand on monday ;)

Season 3 notes popping off

due to my desire to not completely fail all my classes this year i made myself slow down significantly while listening to this season, and the fact that the other person i'm listening along with had to catch up. We've managed to convert several other people to start listening and its pretty great.

ep 81: what does it even mean to be chosen by one of them? And if he was chosen by the eye. we know Gertrude wasnt? Because she cut the eyes out of the magazines?

ep 82: elias lmao. I understand why people like him so much bahshdhdk i thought he was gonna snitch on Jon but he didnt so he's fine. Ok but how do we think he knew all that stuff. Idk probably just institute connections. I love the fact that the recorder just wants to record stuff randomly bjahsjdhd. Elias feels a lot like Michael in the sense that he knows more than he should and talks in a way that implies he just wants to wait and see how things play out for his own benefit. I understand him knowing the things that happened but his description of her emotions implies something paranormal. Maybe he's connected to one of the entities. Which one I cannot guess.

ep 83: did a file get delivered randomly to the place he's staying at? Probably elias lmao. He thinks the mannequin is related to the stranger. Idk I would believe it.

ep 84: worms? I know he says earth worms but idk. Again? Is she making gordon golems out of trash? Martin popping off. You can tell the statements get to him more that they get to Jon. How come martin is so mad about it? I want to assume he just doesnt want her to get stuck there but idk. Jude Perry. The calliope organ. Jon heard a circus in one of the last episodes

It seems like (from jon's conversation with jude perry) that the desolation and the eye are kinda at odds with eachother? like i guess not directly but it seems like they dont really vibe? so how could be with both. Cuz if he has the heat powers and shit then we know he's an avatar of the desolation. but then why does he have so much eye imagery. also he got burned intentionally? like jude did when she went on her monologue about the feeling of burning? but then why did he wear the eye pendant. it stops him from being burned all the way which seems like he's not fully accepting the fire or whatever.

i dont think shes a draco skinwalker for several reasons, mainly;

draco was a spoilt brat bc his parents gave him everything he wanted. merula’s parents r in azkaban and she pretty much was raised without them during her time at hogwarts. draco’s parents were present throughout his hogwarts schooling

draco has to maintain this snobby persona in school and act like hes better than everyone else bc hes a malfoy...he bullies harry and his friends bc by being better than him/taking his spotlight, it probably warrants his father’s disapproval and imo draco is the kind that seeks validation from his parents, esp his dad...merula doesnt have to upkeep a persona for anyone tbh, her parents are already in azkaban. initially i didnt like her because she had no reason to act all edgy and evil but i realised shes just a kid and shes probably really fucking sad and insecure about her parents and ultimately, herself. the patronus sq (spoiler) where she tells mc shes afraid of not being able to produce a patronus bc of the myth that bad people arent able to cast one?? really touched my heart. the fact that she’s worried abt something like that shows that there’s good in her heart. she also managed to cast it even tho it was non corporeal 

draco isnt really given a choice on whether he wants to be on the “dark” side or not....literally never got a say and got shoved into death eater life, tasked to kill dumbledore and had voldermort living in his goddamn house... rlly breaks my heart. imo draco is a bully but theres a fine line between what you call a bully and what you call a murderer, and draco is no killer. draco def had the potential to become a better person.

i think its interesting to see how both kids were written though...i’m really hoping merula gets a redemption arc because draco never got one. it isnt surprising that draco turned out to be a dick because of how he was raised (rich family, blood purity views etc) but since merula’s parents are locked in azkaban and she’s free to act and do whatever she wants, i’m hoping she doesn’t keep up the antagonistic role forever :( i think she has a lot of potential that jamcity isnt capitalizing and it makes me? sad.

as for merula x mc... afaik she doesnt stop being a bully yet and still uses blood purity as an insult (she called ben a mudblood? yikes) i dont particularly enjoy the bully rival love thing even though im a drarry fan and thats the fundamental of their rs LOL...

i dont ship drarry bc for the bully dynamic...like tbh draco using slurs and being abusive to build a relationship?? couldnt be me. i like drarry because i strongly believe that if harry managed to maintain a friendship with draco from the very start, he couldve easily convinced draco to break free from his family and learn to be a better person, draco wouldve learned that blood purity slurs are bad, blood purity isnt important. i think draco needed a genuine friend who could push him in the right direction. and harry wouldve been the perfect guy for that role. draco never had a choice in the series but harry wouldve opened up new choices for him.

Always Mad

I dont understand that no matter what I do or say youre always mad. I try to do what I can not to make you mad. I ask a question and im wrong for that, you say I should know by now but I still dont seem to understand. I dont do anything bad to you and thats what makes me sad. It hurts when people ask me simple things like "where is he working at today" "when is he coming back" "when is he leaving" "where is he going" "are youse coming" and lots of other questions all with the same reply "he doesnt tell me anything". Heres what I dont understand at all:  

You're always mad, but I always cook you breakfast, lunch, lunch for work, and dinner.. every day. Even when im mad and that makes me mad. You're always mad but I always do your laundry, fold your clothes, and put them away nicely, you've never said thank you.. and thats what makes me mad. You're always mad, but I always tell you how handsome you are even when I never nor have I ever gotten random everyday compliments from you, and that makes me mad. You're always mad but I always tell you how much I love you, even though you never say it first, and alot of times have attitude abojt saying it back, so its said with no meaning only annoyance, and thats what makes me mad. You're always mad, but everyday I ask you how your day was, while mostly all of the time you just give me the "its fine" head nod, followed by silence, and that makes me mad. You're always mad, but ive never missed a holiday, birthday, special occasion, and Ive always thought of you when I go places so I get you things "just because", even though its been 3 years with you and I've never ever ever received anything, not even a flower picked off the side of the road, and that makes me mad. You're always mad, but I have always taken interest, showed some type of interest, asked questions about your interests, took some type of interest in your interests because it makes you happy and you YOU, even though you never take any interest in my interests, and when im excited to tell you about something that interests me you shoot me down and I feel myself go from excited to hurt, and that's what makes me mad. You're always mad, but I always make sure you know and feel that I love and care about you, yet I never feel love, nor have I ever thought you really cared for me, and thats what makes me mad. You're  always mad, but I go,above and beyond to show you I only want you, and no one else gets my attention, yet every couple weeks or months another girl pops up either from your past , or new ones.. and that's what makes me mad. You're always mad, but while were out in public you refuse to hold my hand, and you make sure you are the furthest away from me, basically walk away from me and thats what makes me mad. You're mad, but when your actions cause me to hurt and react you try and turn it on me.. because you can't communicate and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad , but we made a promise to each other that things wouldn't escalate when we fought to the point where pur hands are on each other again... yet the last 3 huge fights we had I was in shock and disbelief that you broke that promise, I kept my hands to myself and didnt even defend ,. I sat there asking why you hate me..,and thats what makes me mad.  You're mad, but you told me you put your hands on me because you dont k ow how else to react, because you so desperately dont want me to leave so you dont let me.. I stay because not only am I in love with you, but because I know this isnt the real you, you're angry and although I forgive you and never left your side especially when your demons came out. Yet you never said sorry or showed appreciation for any of it and thats what makes me mad. You're mad, but ive always been by your side when you needed me with anything, even take care of you when you're sick, even though anytime I needed you mostly all of the times you were nowhere to be found and ive never even received a "do you need anything" when im sick, and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad, but when i found out I was pregnant you were so mean to me, you called me a whore, and spread mean things around about me .. youre mad, but when you said we should abort agreed even though I didn't want to. Youre mad, but an hour before my appointment  you begged me not to do it and that you'd be there and not let me do it on my own. Last minute I cancelled the appointment, and you never ever made it to one  baby appointment, never once asked how I was feeling, never once felt him moving, never once showed concern about him, you didnt want me going anywhere so you kept me very close , and as I was pregnant sleeping in your bed every night, you would leave all night long and screw around on me, you,never bought one thing that the baby needed, you never came to the birth even after I begged multiple times, you told me that you hope I die right before I went into get the c-section.... you didnt speak to me for days, and you never came.. and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad, but I forgave you and 2 weeks after our son was born you were fucking an ex  fling .. THEN you finally met him, and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad, but after telling me you wanted to try and make a family work, and that you loved me , you were going around denying him and telling people you didnt want a family with me , and thats what makes me mad. You say youre mad.. we came so very far from those things for a little while we had peace, you were faithful, and I had my little family, I felt loved somewhat ... we moved in together.. you started treating me bad again, then you were caught doing things behind my back that you knew would hurt me, and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad, but I asked why out of all your options you chose me .. you said "because I was the only one dumb enough to stick around" .... and in a way that makes me mad. Youre mad, but im completely in love with you, stuck around and believed you'll eventually change because you were broken when we met and "hurt people hurt people" .. nothing youve done made me love you less, it just made me feel a different kind of hurt. . Yet every day I dont feel loved or appreciated back and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad , but if you ever read this youd find a way to leave becUse you cant take honestly and credibility.. and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad, but you know there is alot of things I didnt write because my fingers hurt from holding this tablet for so long as youre iracing, and havent spoken to me since you got home other than teing me I was making you mad for asking questions, and im an idiot because I should know by now.. even though all day long I waited for you to get home bc I missed you... you responded with a sarcastic laugh and shook ur head no and havent spoken to me since .. and thats what makes me mad. Most of all what makes me mad is knowing you can love , communicate, care, and treat me better .. it makes me mad because you must think I dont deserve that from you. It makes me mad you dont appreciate me or the unconditional love I have for you.. and thats what makes me mad . Youre mad , but I love you so much that I wont leave or give up on you because I know youre my person, and you know you,can get away with anything because of that and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad, but the good days are so good I never want them to end .. good and bad days you make me happy .. you show things very seldom, but still in your own fucked up way.. I know under your hurt you must love me bc you,never let me leave and youve once told me you never loved someone as much as me and thats why I dont understand how you treat me this way, and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad but people think im mad for staying, I just know youll come around .. its 4:18am ive been writingg for over an hour , maybe its been two , but you said to stop talking , so I started writing, you havent spoken a word to me and ur still racing. Youre mad because im writing and not talking as yiu said.. you keep glancing ocer and sighing .. youll come to bed in silence and turn ur back to me like I did this .. and thats what makes me mad. I love you so much and I wont ever give up on you because as fucked as all of this is , I want you forever. I deserve it after all .. what makes me mad is I can feel that youre going to leave .. it hurts and scares me.. and thats what makes me mad. Youre mad but knowing you never read this, or somehow find this you wont read it all and realize what u have right here. You wont care to change and fix this.. and thats what makes me mad. 

One last thing, you're mad, but I know there's someone else.. yet you wont be honest with me.. youre mad but I dont understand why someone else gets the best you.. meaning you treat them like they mean something, n I bet u talk to her nice and with respect, im sure you compliment and confide in her and I bet you tell her ur problems and about your day and how much you want to leave because you hate your life with me , I bet she gets the best you, and that makes me mad, but most of  it tops everything else.. its killing me and you dont care. How does she get the best you ive n begging for, an waiting for.. how does she deserve that so effortlessly.. yet ive been out through just about everything , all the emotions , all the hurt, and stuck by you.. it makes me mad and kills me that you think still after everything.. I still deserve nothing from you other than hurt. How could you.. it makes me mad bc ill never get an answer... 

Youre mad, but I loved, love, and it will always BE YOU. I showed and still continue to show unconditional love and u dont care thats why im mad.

thank u sooo much!!! im sorry theyre takin so long rip hope u like this one too💗 (lol this got way too long sorry)so, au where isak goes to his grandparents during his summer vacation and he hasnt been there for a year now, so he feels excited to spend a few weeks there and catch up on everything thats been happening. and its all going fine until he has to set the table and his grandma hands him a fourth plate and isak is confused?? and when he asks about it his grandma slaps a hand to her forehead, “i didnt even mention” and isak kinda has a bad feeling about it, “we’ve got a lovely boy helping us with the garden and other outside work”

 then isak frowns ,“alright, but why does he need to have dinner with us?” and his grandma looks at him in a way that tells isak he’s being a little rude, “he lives here for a few months, until he gets enough money for a flat” and isaks just. he has to sit down bc wow thats really smth they should’ve mentioned. especially that now he’s got his hopes up that its a really cute boy, wearing the cute garden dungarees with a cute straw hat. and the boy walks in just like that the next minute, except the hat but isak doesnt mind bc his hair falling into his face a little sweaty is smth isak could look at for hours. the boy’s eyes find isaks, and he blinks twice before smiling, walking up to isak, taking his gloves off and reaching out a hand, “hello, im even, u must be isak. its really nice to finally meet u” and isaks mind is going a mile a minute trying to let his voice AND their clasped hands sink in, and he doesnt get a word out just nods, then even walks away to take a shower and isaks body slams down on the chair and he feels exhausted for no reason. or it might be bc of how much his heart had to work with in no more than 5 minutes. then when he’s back, sitting opposite him, and theyre having dinner he finds out a little more about even but only basics like why he took this job ,why he’s not found a flat yet, or that he’s single. one of these make isak tighten the grip around his fork. 

after a few stolen glances at even and blushing pink when he gets caught half of the time, they finish dinner and isaks walking up to the room that his grandparents made isaks where he could stay when he comes over. except. “we didnt mention i live in this room now, huh” even walks up next to him and no, nobody said anything and the thought of sleeping on the couch makes him want to whine out loud. but then even is walking inside and he waits at the door until isak walks in too, confused. “well good news, we gotta share” and isak snorts, though his heart does a thing. “whats the good news then” and he’s glad when even doesnt get offended but just squints his eyes at him and isak thinks he’s gonna stick his tongue out. he doesnt though, and he just walks over to one of the cabinets and gets out a towel, handing it to isak, “i already showered so.. the bathroom is all yours” and isak thanks him and while he’s drying himself down after the shower, he’s trying to prepare himself for having to share a room with even. and he think he’s got himself together buT THEN he walks in the room and ??? evens lying in bed with his phone. so isak just stops at the door and stares dumbly, “u didnt get me like a, mattress or smth?” and even looks up from his phone, “no? i told you we’d share?” and oh. sharing the bed too. okay. so he hesitantely slips under the blanket, only one for the two of them, and when turns to put his phone next to the bed, his shirt rolls up and isak feels his mouth go dry and he averts his eyes, staring up at the ceiling. then even is squirming beside him trying to get into a comfy position and then theyre both lying on their backs, and its dark in the room now and even breaks the silence, “i hope you dont feel uncomfortable” and isak has to swallow before replying, “uh no, the bed is fine” and even chuckles which tugs at isaks heart, “i meant being uncomfortable with us sharing” and isak doesnt know how sharing a bed with one of the cutest and prettiest boys could be uncomfortable, “its chill” he’s really nervous. “chill” even repeats with a smile in his voice and then he’s turning around with his back to isak, and isak slowly falls asleep.

he wakes up to a soft knocking on the door and a voice from behind it, “breakfast is ready boys” and then isaks about to bury his face deeper into the pillow except his nose smushes against smth harder and he opens one eye to check and shit. its evens back. and his arm is wrapped around evens chest, their legs tangled under the sheets. he starts freaking out and mouths a few swear words then he’s counting down to 3 to slide his arm from evens body but when he’s at 2, even is turning around in his arms and isak freezes and forgets to shut his eyes, and even is facing him now and he can see his eyes slowly start to open and isak holds his breath, his eyes wide and he’s panicking and doesnt know why he just doESNT move his arm??? then even blinks a few times and isak sees he first notices the arm around him, which with him moving slid down to his hips, fingers only hovering above his skin, and he’s slowly turning his gaze ,to isaks chest, his neck and then he finds his eyes and. theyre just. staring. then evens voice is raspy and surprised “uuhh. morning?” and isak is 101% sure he’s gonna faint. “morning” he still doesnt move. then even huffs out a laugh and clears his throat, “did you have a nice sleep?” and isak swallows,”yeah. you?” and evens presses his lips together, rubbing his chin against his shoulder, “me too, really nice” then isak pulls his lips into an awkward smile and he looks to the side, “breakfast is ready” and even raises his eyebrows “yeah? we better go eat then” but neither of them move for another moment, and when isak finally gets the strength to move his arm, even moves his body the same time,and isaks fingers end up touching his hips and they both freeze and isaks just. holding him and evens stuck in a probably uncomfortable position and isaks heart is gonna jUMP out of his chest, then they chuckle nervously and isaks fingers slide down his hips and theyre standing up. isak stays behind and slaps his cheeks to wake up and curses a few more times before walking out with a smile

then theyre eating breakfast, sitting opposite each other again, and isak doesnt dare to look up, he’s afraid he made things awkward. so he’s tossing his food around when his grandma sits down, “so, was everything okay with the sharing?” and isak is already thinking about some reasons why the bed isnt good, but then even hums, “yeah it was cool, right isak?” and isak meets his eyes for the first time since the bed and all he can do is nod and then his grandma starts talking about something else, but isak doesnt listen. he shoots an apologetic smile at even who just shrugs with a grin and isak watches as even puts his mouth around the fork, eyes still on isak. isak blushes and hides his face behind his coffee cup

theyre doing the dishes together, alone in the kitchen and isak takes a deep breath when the silence has been going on for too long, “i hope i didnt make things awkward?” and even smiles at him, handing him a plate to wash off, “you didnt. to be honest it was nice waking up to that” and he bites his bottom lip. isaks heart does that thing again and he finds himself agreeing with even. then even nudges isaks shoulder with his own, “a cuddle’s a cuddle. i dont mind if you sneak your arms around me again” and isak blushes, “i was asleep when i did that!” and even squints his eyes, “mhm, sure” and isak splashes water at even and he does the same, and theyre laughing, but a few bubbles ended up on evens nose and isak admires it for a minute before he reaches up to remove it and even ducks his head with a blush and smiles at the ground and licks his lips with a grin that shines brighter than the washed plates

and that night isak is awake when he throws his arm around even, and he feels even move a bit closer and isak smiles against his back and evens heart picks up a quick rhythm under isaks hand and in the next days they notice how that quick rhythm becomes the normal for them when theyre around each other and it just gets quicker when they first hold hands with their fingers laced as theyre watching a movie on evens laptop or when isaks lips finally find even’s one night
