Both shows will likely air towards the end of the year. ❗️ Over a year after its initial announcement, the upcoming BL Wish Me Luck (starring Na Naphat & Fiat Pattadon) is now in production. ❗️ The uncensored Chinese BL Stay With Me was renewed for a second season. Further details are unknown.

❗️Actor Bright Vachirawit announced that he is leaving GMMTV to start his own entertainment company.

❗️ It was revealed that the GMMTV2024 event will take place in October this year. Every year the company hosts an event where they announce their new project lineup for the upcoming year, including a trailer + a short Q&A with the respective cast. The event usually takes place in November or December. Best Sam and Colby video of the year:

From a statistical analytic standpoint, the best video they did this year in terms of hype, viewership, engagement, etc. was by far episode one of their Conjuring video. That video sold out movie theaters, got mainstream interest (good and bad), trended on youtube for days, and will honestly probably be the thing that wins them a Streamy next year...maybe even a Kids/Teen/People's Choice? Who knows!

But, as far as what I, personally, resident grandma of snc tumblr thought was the best? I have to give it to Chillingham, with Hell Fire Caves following closely behind. I loved everything about Chillingham - the guests were perfect, snc's vibes were great, the place was spooky, they had fun but not the kind of fun that debunkers will cancel them for lol...it was just peak, perfect snc. Hell Fire runs a close second for the same reasons, and honestly would've gotten first except for the fact that I preferred the Chillingham tour guide over the HF Cave tour guide (no offense, if you're out there somewhere, but the Chillingham guide was awesome).

Worst Sam and Colby video of the year:

Again, purely from a statistical standpoint, the Whaley House video in January seems to have performed the worst - and honestly, for good reason. It was boring, and Lexi was clearly not into doing this type of content. She seems like a lovely person, no knock on her, but when someone just does not want to be there, it does not translate well.

Also, it's important to note that this video was filmed 4 days before Colby was diagnosed with cancer, and tbh? I think the bad physical health vibes came through in this as well. He was in pain and not really in the mood to be doing this stuff, and no matter how good you are at putting on a brave face for the camera, things like that will seep through and affect the vibe.

Now, is that my least favorite, or the one I think was the worst? No. It was close, but I honestly didn't even watch all the way through of the one with Celina and Kris in the mansion, cause I found it so annoying (yes, I find them profoundly annoying at times; do not come screaming into my ask box about it) so by default, that one wins my "worst of" for the year.

Saddest/most emotional Sam and Colby video of the year:

Statistically speaking, I feel like the Conjuring Epsiode One has this one in the bag.

But, I think we all know the cancer vid was truly, deeply emotional for a lot of reasons. What they both (primarily Colby) went through with that journey over a period of six months and the way he told his story was just...emotional. Happy emotional, sad emotional, scared emotional...all the feels. And it ends in a feel good way, so that's fantastic!

This one was hard, because honestly, I think all of their videos have an element of happiness to them, simply because these two just love being together and filming together with their friends.

That being said, I'm going to think outside the box here and say any of the podcasts they appeared on this year. That's where their giggly, happy personalities really shine through.

Funniest Sam and Colby video of the year:

Believe it or not, I found the video with Tommy and Jack to be hilarious (for probably the wrong reasons, but hilarious nonetheless). Tommy and Jack were the irreverant, disrespectful young teen jokesters and snc were the horrified, shocked and out of touch old people trying to parent these children the entire time. That made my old ass laugh a lot.

And what do we all hope for, with the upcoming year? (Like what do you want to see more or less of?):

Above all else, all I want for both of them in 2024 is good physical and mental health. They've had a roller coaster this year (especially Colby on the health front) and even though they claim to enjoy the roller coaster ride, I think it'll do them well to have one year filled with peace and maybe just a nice, leisurely ride on the lazy river instead, or something.

Video wise? I think I've said all this last year and none of it came true lol, but a girl can dream. All I want are 3 simple things:

Less streamers

More snc solo investigations

Can Colby please start leaning a little more into his intuition and "empathic" energy? Please?

Oh and a bonus #4 that I know @golbrocklovely will back me up on: please god do a whole series in Pennsylvania. We could give them a million +1 ideas of cool places to go to in PA if they would just...show up, lol.

notes: guys i swear this is the last of milo and rocky, we'll be back to regularly scheduled programming in like a couple hours and days i promise i swear please believe they're just my love rn I'm sorry

“oh, she was so pretty, mate,” logan throws his head back, running his hands through his hair. “i can’t believe i got a picture with her!”

she screams, shaking logan violently. “i can’t believe she even knows who i am!”

“the taylor swift knows my name!” lily shrieks, following the group into the vip tent, sighing exasperatedly with a hand pressed against her forehead. she turns to oscar. “babe, you saw that, didn’t you?”

oscar laughs. “i did. thanks for getting us tickets, rocky.”

“of course,” she claps, “i’m not losing out on taylor tickets ever again.”

before she can continue her sentence, a loud roar of laughter echoes in the room. she snaps her head over to the other group in the tent, scowling slightly when one of the guys grins at her before turning away.

lily gasps softly, stumbling into her body. “that guy looks familiar. where have i seen him from?”

she shrugs and tugs lily away from the other group. “i don’t know, but let’s put our stuff down and get some drinks.”

“i know where i know him from!” logan laughs, whispering to her, poking her elbow. “ciara, dalton and i were watching tv the other day in the apartment. that’s the guy from one of sabrina’s music videos. some milo guy, if i remember ciara telling me his name.”

lily gasps, halting her conversation with oscar. she turns to her with a wide smile. “milo manheim!” she whispers softly, hitting her arm. “yeah, i remember where i’ve seen him from. oscar and i were watching a couple of disney movies the other day.”

oscar gasps. “you weren’t supposed to tell them that, lily.”

logan snorts, “ah, a disney channel enjoyer now, oscar?”

“piss off, mate.”

she furrows her eyebrows and folds her arms over her chest as her stare lingers on the group at the other side of the tent.

while she wants to blame it on her upcoming period for being a little irritable, it just can’t be. there was something about that one particular guy in the other group, being so loud and hyped up, that made her want to tug on her hair and pull it all out.

there’s something about the way he would catch her eye across the room and point at her while singing.

it rarely even happened, being surrounded by several taller people made it difficult to even find him in the small crowd in the tent. though he’s significantly taller, and it made it easier for him.

he looks over again, making her immediately turn her head away.

he’s so annoying.

“goodnight,” logan laughs, patting her head as he closes her bedroom door behind her.

her laughter dies down, pushing him out of her room. “piss off, mate.”

the door closes behind her and kidnapper quickly settles between her pillows to get some rest together. she presses her lips together and hums, grabbing her phone from her nightstand and opens tiktok first.

milo manheim… whoever the hell that is.

she spends the first 2 minutes rolling her eyes at his videos with a permanent scowl on her face. she doesn’t notice that by minute 5, she’s got a small grin on her face as she realises just how funny he is.

perhaps she was just in an exceptionally sour mood during the concert.

then she goes on instagram next, scrolling and reading his captions. occasionally smiling wider at his antics and interactions.

maybe she misjudged him, and– oh, lord.

the squeak that passes her lips is almost unrecognisable. and if her actions hadn’t been the cardinal sin of stalking someone on the internet, she may have cared a little more.

kidnapper lifts his head, meowing softly in annoyance and throwing her a stare. he blinks slowly before resting his chin on her chest again to resume his slumber.

she apologises softly, biting down on her bottom lip as she curses at herself. “how careless and stupid.”

she’s just liked his picture from a couple years back.

she immediately unlikes it and swipes out of his profile. she even deletes his name from her search bar, as if it would take back the fact that she’s liked his picture.

she spends the better part of the next 5 minutes calming herself down and nursing her heart back to normal. she’d just been drifting off to sleep, texting lily about how fun the concert had been and sending their pictures in the groupchat.

until.

WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT MOVIE SPOILERS...

Don't worry, there's no spoilers in this post - just a rant about people's insatiable need to spoil things.

If you're reading this, it's probably because you're a fellow movie enthusiast. Entertainment by any means has the ability to bring people together. We can anticipate and experience things, then discuss and share said experiences. Sometimes we have to wait an agonizing amount of time - often seemingly forever... but when it finally arrives, we're happy we waited, and most often than not, it's usually worth waiting for too.

As a kid, spoilers were never really a risk I encountered, partly due to the internet being not as, let's just say, socially collosal and expansive as it is today. I was able to enjoy movies, games, TV shows and comics from start to finish and get surprised along the way. The duration between a piece of media being announced/confirmed, and the time it took for it to release and be ingested was never a spoiler minefield, partly because such a minefield didn't exist.

Flashforward to present day, and we all have the same social media apps installed. We use these apps to discover content and stay updated with friends and family, though for some reason, in the last few years, all I seem to encounter on a daily basis are just spoilers for things I care about. The argument could be made that the algorithms are attempting to tailor content to me for convenience. I'm not denying that this is a beneficial system in theory, but when I'm forced to see spoilers against my will purley due to it relating to something I'm interested in, it gets a little annoying.

Another argument could be made that I don't have to use these apps, which is certainly true, but I shouldn't have to deprive myself of near-infinite entertainment that I do care about, just because a portion of people/organisations make it their mission to recklessly splurge out exclusive content for the sake of views.

These spoilers range from rakishly explicit images, to implicit news headlines trying their hardest to be allusive, though fail to realise most people aren't stupid and will probably know what a cryptic headline is implying, without needing to read the actual article. I've seen screenshots from upcoming movies that I would've rather not seen, I've seen people posting pictures of merch and figurines for things before we've even seen a trailer. Yes, merch/toys aren't always accurate, but they still give you a good idea of what's in store.

I miss being able to just sit and wait for a trailer, enjoy the hell out of it, wait in anticipation for the movie to release, and then just be able to f**king enjoy it when it's out! Now, everyday just feels like I have to dodge spoilers no matter what I'm doing. If I get a whiff of a spoiler, I have to double down on my vigilance to ensure it remains unspoilt. I have to make sure that remains the case right up until release day, and then let out a sigh of relief when I finally rest my cheeks on the cinema seat. If you're excited about something, why the hell has it become an obstacle course to make sure that remains the case?

I understand that some people are okay with spoilers, and I understand that some outlets try to share spoilers with some sort of security attached, for people that don't want to inadvertently see things, which I definitely appreciate... but to some degree, you have to acknowledge that there is nothing stopping a fellow reader taking that spoilery information and passing it along without the same degree of care.

Posting spoilers is easy content. It comes with an element of exclusively that is bound to pull in a larger audience, but I dislike this severely. If you have encountered a spoiler deliberately or accidentally, it is your responsibility to make sure others aren't forced to learn about them. If everyone else around you is posting spoilers for views, don't worry, it doesn't suddenly make you uncool for not taking part. If anything, I find it admirable if you're making the conscious effort not to participate in sharing spoilers.

At the end of the day, seeing spoilers isn't life or death, and in the grand scheme of things, this issue seems petty, but when you're passionate about something, you want to be able to enjoy it properly. If you bought a new book, you'd be annoyed if the person next to you skips to the last page and bellows out the ending. If you're queuing up to watch the final of a football tournament, you'd be annoyed if a time traveller teleported in front of you and spoiled the outcome. The irony of these over the top examples is that we're actually encountering this for movies/shows, however they're in the form of mundane social media posts.

This issue is just getting worse by the day, and I imagine every new movie that's set to release will just breed more and more spoiler content. I think there needs to be greater consequences for the initial leakers, and more of a deterrent for the people/outlets that are itching to share them. I'm not a tech whiz of any kind, but why can't we have something similar to an AdBlocker which censors potential spoilers? Silly, I know - ideally though, it would be nice to not have to suggest desperate ideas to avoid things I don't want to see. These are first world problems for sure, and I'm not denying that in the slightest, but it still sucks. It shouldn't have to be like this. Why is there such a need to declare you know something before other people? I honestly don't remember the last piece of content I experienced that hadn't had an aspect of it spoilt. I watch the trailers, featurettes and interviews as it's the quantity the content makers want me to see prior to the movie. I look at the poster because they want me to visualise what's in store. It should stop there. This is what we should discuss, speculate on and get hyped about and nothing more.

(My Thoughts for Come and Learn With Pibby)

- I saw a recent video from Adult Swim [AS] YT account and sees a preschooler named Pibby, her bunny friend named Bun Bun and a weird crocodile (that no-one even wants to talk about) with their world being consumed by an unknown evil flowing through their lands, eventually Pibby is separated from her friends and got lost from her world into other countless cartoon universes or people would call it, The Multiverse. She teams up with a sidekick and a Cruella De Ville inspired villain to work together to save not only their worlds, but others as well.

Now that the synopsis of the series explained, it's time for my thoughts and criticism of this upcoming show.

All I can say is that this would made to a real series; but to me, (maybe, just maybe) it would FAIL tremendously.

Why? Because of 2 main reasons:

1. Is that making a preschool character a protagonist of a very violent and harmful show that features terrifying and unsettling glitchy monster versions of familiar cartoon characters and nostalgians. You may or may not see what I'm heading here, Pibby will go through a hell of a time throughout this series, if this is a real life scenario, a child her age would be traumatized and petrified of all the danger happening around her surroundings and that would not be a good sign for children who suffered the same way in the real world... Well obviously with no darkness consuming all but facing realistic events with real life consequences. Pibby would be a representation of those children, going through a lot of pain and suffering in a young age. Now that I think about it, I felt bad for Pibby going through all of that trouble. She just want to be herself in her very peaceful world with her friends, but then strips all of that away with only the darkness destroying all of it, leaving nothing but the fear and anxiety and the challenges to face, even if the series gets like a happy ending, it's not gonna wash away all of her trauma she went through.

Now for my second reason, remember I mentioned about "terrifying and unsettling glitchy monster versions of familiar cartoon characters". That would be the second major flaw of this show. Sure the people who watched the YT video is hyped about this seeing the famous cartoon icons such as the Flintstones, Jetsons and other cartoons return, but that's where the problem is. Seeing them again as glitch out MONSTERS?!?! Like come on, people! Surely you would not want to take a picture with those pupil-less, mouth wided, aimless shell of cartoon icons such as Shaggy Rogers, Gumball Watterson, Finn the Human, Steven Universe and more. I mean think about this, those frightening features would scare the living daylights of younger audiences (mostly if it's by accident) and for those diehard fans of those shows would NEVER EVER look at them the same way ever. Look, the glitching darkness can be a great monster of this show, but turning our beloved cartoons into mindless oozing zombie like beings is messed up! We see them in that trailer, but would expect more of the greatest hit cartoons to make their appearance, but in the most unpleasant experience EVER!

You can see both of my reasons are linked to each other in like different ways. I'm not judging of criticizing the work of the mind behind Come and Learn With Pibby, it's just something that plagued my mind in a while now after I saw that YT video. And TBH, seeing this as a series is too much of a stretch, I would rather see this concept into a MOVIE instead of a full series, just to be sure.
