Trans culture is changing your labels, and not being sure if you're confused about the right lable, if your identity changed, or if your gender fluid.

kinda wish I didn't open the "hey you're actually non binary" door because now being thought about as one or the other gender too much bothers me sometimes and before I could ignore that and now I have more difficulty not thinking about it and I know that no one in my family or country will ever respect that anyway so the reality here is that I have to just get used to that annoyance

why do you make so many characters who aren't trans into trans? /gen
Why do people in other fandoms ship canonically straight characters in gay relationships?
Why do we gravitate towards gay fiction in general?
Why does anyone do anything in fandom spaces?
It's fun. It's freeing. It's validating. In smut, it's hot. It's relatable when someone is like you, even if you do like works featuring characters that are unlike you. Because I read plenty of non-trans F/F and (gasp) F/M in original works and fanfiction alike. I write all of that too!
But nothing is quite like trans F/F to me, be it t4t or otherwise. So every character's eventual fate is sealed. At least one (1) of my fics will feature them as trans, and that's a guarantee.
I know it rubs some people the wrong way for reasons that are sadly fathomable, but that just makes the petty side of me more likely to write all their faves as trans women. Especially in roles they find uncomfortable. I want those people specifically to be uncomfortable with their own biases about the nature and vast spectrum of trans experiences.
To other authors, especially trans authors: make everyone trans. Doesn't matter if it's to make a woman a transmasc dyke or a demiboy or agender, or to make a man a trans woman or trans man or genderfluid. Or to make either nonbinary! Just do it. Make yourself happy with it.
Don't let your mind hire an inner cop that polices your freedom of thought*
P.S., Author mute as a feature exists on AO3, so I advise folks learn to use that.

I'm gonna continue with the requests later, but I also felt the need to doodle my two PVs with a little bit of gender on the side
They're both still very much genderless, but because not every non-binary/agender person will have the same perception/feelings regarding their gender and won't have the same gender presentation, I decided to mess around with it a little
Hallow is genderfluidv(though after some consideration I realised agenderflux describes them more accurately, but oh well, these labels don't even exist in their story so who cares), they're non-binary but their alignment fluctuates between fem-leaning, masc-leaning, something in-between and neither. They're fine with any terms and pronouns but mostly go by they/them.
Luna is genderfae/transfem, their gender fluctuates between agender and fem-aligned non-binary. They mostly go by they/them and gender-neutral and feminine terms, they're fine with she/her and some neopronouns, but any masculine terms and pronouns are a big no-no for them. Currently, I'm considering making them an enby lesbian, but that might change in the future.

tw for transphobia, and completely off-topic vent but I gotta get this off my chest.
So I came out as non-binary and instantly lost friends and relatives blocked me,,, it just... hurts because people apparently care more about the fact I have pronouns and being mad at the fact I exist, instead of not being transphobic. And it's suddenly incredibly lonely. People were fine with me when I pretended to be a cis woman and now that I've finally come out it's like they suddenly hate me. Lol.
Anyway trans rights are human rights and if you disagree with that pls reconsider because I just want to exist in peace pls <3

weird to me that the pronouns I used to use for myself no longer fit me. I didn't grow up expecting that to be one of the things about myself that changed. but then it did. it's just... I don't know. I'm not a woman, but I was a girl. it's strange to think about.
