My life is officially over

Looking through all the posts I wrote for the past many years, I realised I am a ticking time bomb that had finally exploded. All the mistakes I made throughout my life so far in these relationships were just repeating by itself. It seems i never learn anything and now finally I got what I deserved.

Leaving my 5-6 years girlfriend for another lady was already bad enough. And God punishes me by making the lady I fell in love with, a married women with a child. It is just awful. She is as close to an ideal women for me but God doesn’t want me to have her so He showed me that such person exists but unfortunately she is still married with a child. This is so bad and I don’t think I can ever accept it. And at the age of 32 this year, I am running out of time to find someone who is suitable. And even if I do find someone, I got to restart the whole dating process. I am so tired at this point and i believe God wants to punish me for all the stupid mistakes I made. He wants me to stay single for life and repent. And I truly think I deserves it.

I am still together with the lady. She is yet to be divorced but she wanted to one day. She said even without me she already had plans to divorce. We planned for her to get divorce next year and in the meantime I will finance her studies and hopefully she will get a better paying job in Singapore. From then on we will get married. Truth to be told, no one knows what is going to happen in the future. Maybe at the end of the day she can’t bear to leave her child or her husband is unwilling to divorce? No one knows and for once I am not harbouring any hopes for my future with her. I am also not sure if I can truly accept her past despite me trying hard to accept. She did lied to me about her past and only recently told me everything. I was devastated not because she lied but because she had such a complicated background. I know many people out there doesn’t mind getting together with a divorced person or someone who already has a child. But it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Knowing that the person once got together with another person and even tie the knot together just make me sick, let alone having a child together. I believe God knows I am someone who cannot accept such a person and He gave me my ideal type with a complicated past to punish me. I am willing to accept my punishment as I am a sinner in front of the Holy Father.

I don’t bet on a future with her despite continuing staying by her side. I truly love her but I am uncertain what is going to happen in the future. The least I could do is to pay the price and finance her as much as I possibly could and even if we didn’t get together in the end, I am fine with that because that is my punishment. Like I said, I am a ticking time bomb and I exploded.

There’s gonna be problems in the future like what happen if the daughter comes and live with us? How am I gonna answer to my parents? How my friends and family gonna view me? What if the other side of the family comes disturb her? There are 101 questions that I have no answer to and I don’t wish to answer them. I only know that there is now a chance I will be single forever, either by choice or circumstances.

Her blessing now is my punishment and I am willing to accept it. God has a plan for me and I, for once, will truly submit myself to Him. I will repent and I will ask for forgiveness. I am truly a sinner and I wish that all these will go away peacefully. Whether God wants me to carry this burden throughout my life or to stay single forever so I can devote myself to Him, I will accept any outcome. The only one that doesn’t leave me is God and I want Him more than anyone else. At least God brings me peace. He is the One and Only God Almighty. For now, I will spend my days as a single but helping a person who I love very much. I will let time past and see what comes next. I will accept whatever God has planned for me. As of now, I don’t think I want to marry a person who has a child no matter how much I love her. She can continue to stay with her husband and take care of him until he dies and care for her daughter until she grows old. Once I have completed ‘serving my punishment’ and she is financially and emotionally independent, I will leave and live my single life. If she choose to divorce, that will be her choice and not mine. I don’t have any obligations to marry her even if she is divorced. So let’s see. For once, I will start praying and asking for forgiveness every night. This is the least I could do to repent.

Kimetsu no Yaiba Chapter 170 Review

Despite the absence of the manga, the anime has been stellar; keeping the manga fans hyped. The world has witness an incredible performance of that one particular episode. It’s a popular opinion to think how amazing it was, but for me, all I’m thinking is, “Wait until you’ll see this part.” Which part? Everything, and this chapter is no exception. The hype is strong and it will continue to grow.

The chapter’s cover shows the fans the progress from elsewhere. The good news is, Inosuke and Kanao are reuniting with Zenitsu. More good news is, Zenitsu is back up and running. Actually, that’s a lie; he’s being carried over. It’s not him without someone else babysitting him. Aside from that, it’s great to know everyone is slowly reuniting; hyping up the major battle. It’s possible for them to collide with Upper Moons, so we’ll see where this direction takes us.

For the first two pages, it goes over a grueling sequence of Tokito freeing himself. No dialogues; all display of agonizing pain. I cringed and felt the pain. His expressions are believable enough to know that is something no one wants to go through. I like the fact the sequence takes its time, rather than simply removing it like a leaf. Call it waste of time for those who wants content, but this is worth deciphering a character’s struggle.

As painful it was to watch, it’s also painful to learn that he’s on a death clock. Because of the blood loss, he won’t able to stand long enough to see the next day. Unless he becomes a demon or someone donate blood immediately, this could be his last fight. In short, his death flag is raised. I hope it’s only done for fear factor and not pull the trigger to write him off. It increased the tension, no doubt, I would want them to receive no death policy. Okay, not really, but I care too much.

Aside from fearing the worst, there’s an interesting setup for an interesting team inbound. With Tokito free at last, it’s time for Genya to get back up. He wants to consume Kokushibou’s hair, so he can recover. To think, a simple hair cut can lead to something. That’s a cool small detail. I could be wrong, but maybe he can gain a power boost. Whether he does or not, I’ll be happy enough to see him fight and bonus, alongside with his brother. I appreciate the sight of the two with the same resolve. It’s almost like fate. Both have similar developments, let alone in the same arc, so it’s a neat detail to see them match together.

After a long break, the hype resume with Himejima versus Kokushibou, but not without a very interesting detail on the Marks. Although the Mark could have been described as a super form of the series, there’s a drawback and a fatal one at that. Those who possesses the Mark, the Marked ones in short, will die before reaching the age of 25. That’s a heavy price. The worst part is, anyone can obtain it, not limited to the protagonist. Speaking of which, this is an alarming sign for Tanjiro. I don’t know if the series will go on longer, but this could serve as a time bomb if not trend carefully. It makes me wonder the reason behind this detail. One thing is certain, this gives Himejima a major death flag.

Although the Pillars could improve their Markings, it will only shorten their lifespan. In other words, there’s no way to remove the cursed fate. For Himejima though, the fact he’s using it at age 27 (I believe) is a guaranteed death; most likely at night. Good God. This battle is filled with Pillars and their death flags. Gotouge is trying to give fans a heart attack. The only escape is becoming a demon. Pour that blood on me. Regardless of the consequence, this doesn’t faze Himejima at all.

I love the pride and commitment he has as a Pillar. Kokushibou thought the sacrifice would discourage him, but he treats every day as his last, and understandably so. His logic is rather encouraging and inspiring. If a man knows being a Pillar can result your early demise, who would take the task half-hearted. Everyone signs their will, and whatever happens, happens. For Himejima, that’s what the pride of a human being is about, and a massive insult for those who belittles them. I remember a long time ago, I was skeptical of his character with his constant crying. Now, he’s a badass and has a very strong willed to do whatever it takes.

The action hasn’t resume and already I’m feeling tensed just by their words exchange. The last intriguing point is about the “exception.” The Mark is already explained to be consequential; however, there was an exception that not only lived past 25, but is still alive. This actually shook Kokushibou; proving Himejima was right. I honestly don’t know what he means by that. Is it someone we know? Was he referring to himself or Kokushibou? I don’t understand why would he be shocked though if he is already aware of himself. I feel like we need a better context to understand the meaning behind that line. If it’s the case of someone we don’t know, this could be huge. Either way, I’m really curious about this possible revelation. But first, the badass action returns.

It’s as tensed as ever. You are energized from their conversation and the action keeps you on hook with tensed sequences. I like how it even started. Kokushibou was the first to engage because he was frustrated by Himejima’s remarks. That’s how you one-up a demon; words that are harmful as cuts. As that wasn’t gripping enough, Sanemi stitches up his wounds, which is probably something he does every day, now ready to go back. But the hype build doesn’t stop there. He then activate the Mark. Pretty cool that his Mark is a fan; a simple yet effective design of Wind Pillar. By this point, I’m just fired up.

The action is slick with evasive maneuvers and teamwork. At one point, Himejima tries to sneak attack with the Ball coming towards behind him while Sanemi aims for a low attack. It was clever, but good God almighty, he is still clean with a small trim. How is this possible? The day he gets a scratch will be a New Year celebration. Maybe if he gets hurt, he will change side with Pillars and bring along a legion of his demons. Anyway, the cliffhanger is all kinds of hype. We saw a glimpse of teamwork; the last panel reassured that there will be more to come. That put a smile on my face.

This was a very intriguing chapter with a slice of tensed action. The lore behind the Mark was very interesting, though alarming for those who has it, especially Tanjiro. Himejima was a badass. The line about “exception” was confusing, but hopefully, we will learn what he really meant soon. The action was tensed with clean artwork, and Sanemi joining in added diversity. Not to mention, we have Tokito and Genya preparing for their return, which could lead to 4-on-1. For now, we have 2-on-1 to get hype over, and that’s good enough for me.

Let’s start with my fave, Marble! Why is marble my favorite? Well let’s start with the obvious, marble is timeless, elegant, unique, and high-maintenance, which is why I love and admire her so! She is a true beauty, with the most exotic veining anyone could imagine. Marble is definitely a “refined taste” like no other. Soft yet durable, marble is the top choice for stone sculptures and almost always is the preference for countertops globally. Now with that prestige, nobility, and opulence comes a pretty price tag and lots of maintenance. Marble is a porous natural stone, made by God, yes God via Earth, or Earth via God, that is created by minerals in the Earth’s crust before crystallization of a limestone. You can travel the entire world and see marble at every turn. From Carrara to Calacatta to Bianco to Statuarietto , you will discover its cultural symbolism and tradition. It’s beauty and composition is unmatched, but the less veining you prefer triples or even quadruples the price point. Marble needs to be sealed twice a year at a minimum and once it is penetrated without proper sealing, it is there FOREVER. Yes, FOREVER! So if you are entertaining guests and a glass of red wine is set on your countertop, oh boy oh boy, you will have a forever red wine tattoo etched in your marble, and NO, it cannot be removed. So for those of you that prefer less maintenance or no maintenance at all, stay clear of marble! But for those of you who are extremely mollycoddle and indulgent, this stone is for YOU!

Which, brings me to Quartz. What is so special about Quartz? Well lemme break it down for you. Quartz is a non-porous material that is highly resistant to stain, scratches, and heat. Now one would automatically say, “well why would I not choose a quartz countertop?” That’s a good question and I will touch on that. Quartz is a man-engineered material that consists of natural material pieces, glass, etc. Quartz is extremely popular now with the high resemblance to natural stones, especially marble. Unlike marble, all quartz will be the exact same as it comes off the assembly line, well there is not really an assembly line, but you get the idea. Same quartz, same look, same everything. So when you are entertaining that same guest with the red wine, you are indeed in luck my dear, as quartz will stay in tact, without any stains and requires no sealing! That alone is why people pay $$$$ for quartz, absolutely no maintenance required. None. Zilch. Zero. Nada. Nothing…..you get the point!

Granite is a fan-favorite with one-of-a-kind speckling, movement, and variations, also produced by none other than the almighty God via Earth. It is a durable natural stone, that also requires sealing, but only once annually versus marble twice as much. Let’s face it, if it can develop from the Earth’s many crust layers with the amount of heat that comes with the layers itself, it can survive in your kitchen, hopefully. Granite is resistant to scratches, cuts, chipping, but you still need to maintain it for beauty not durability. Granite is also timeless, but the slabs we have seen in countertops of the past are making a COMEBACK. The more negative space of a granite, the more $$$ you will spend. No two are alike, and in fact, within the same family, you will still have a unique aesthetic that is unmatched. That is what one with a refined taste absolutely loves about natural stone. The unexpected, the unknown, God’s natural randomness. Granite is popular due to it being readily available all over the world. You can pretty much find granite in almost every region and corner of the earth, so it remains sought after for that purpose alone. Granite makes for a great countertop option for busy families, as it is the best of both worlds: unique beauty and heck yeah, lower maintenance. A win-win for sure! I’ve always laughed at how my kids would hide crumbs on our granite countertops, because in all honesty, it is extremely difficult to see dirt, which is another reason why it is so popular amongst active families. For those teenagers who try to finesse the chore of cleaning the kitchen properly, especially countertops, use the ever so clever “hand test” and swipe all the crumbs to the floor. Parents, you can thank me later!

Quartzite…not to be confused with quartz, is a natural stone that is exotic in nature and highly porous. Onyx is EXPENSIVE, but that means not a thing to the client who loves its beauty and translucence, especially when making a statement. But, but, but she is a beauty! For sure! Great option for basements bars or as a cool backsplash…but I will continue to focus on countertops…

Do’s and Don’ts when it pertains to your countertops, especially all of the natural stone countertops!

Do clean up spills immediately with a wet cloth.

Do use trivets or mats under hot dishes and cookware, even though it can technically stand the heat, why would you burn your investment?.

Do use place mats under china, silver, and other objects that can scratch the stone’s surface.

Do use coasters under glasses, especially if they contain alcohol or citrus juices, get dem babies used to using coasters on a regular basis.

Do clean surfaces with mild soap and water.

Do seal your natural stones, at the minimum, twice a year for Marble, Onyx, Quartzite and once a year for Granite…none per year for Quartz.

Don’t use abrasive cleaners, like Bleach and Fabuloso. If you cannot use on your body, do not, and I repeat do not use on your countertops.

Don’t use scouring powders and abrasives because they will scratch the surface.

Don’t cut food directly on your countertop, use a cutting board.

Don’t use vinegar, ammonia or other general-purpose cleansers and if you do DILUTE with warm water.

Take good care of your countertops and I promise they will take good care of you! Routine cleaning, care and maintenance with sealing, and avoiding direct contact with food will ensure a beautiful countertop for years to come!

I could go on and on but you get the point. It seems we always have to assess where we are in comparison to someone else or against a cultural or societal norm and we do so to our own demise.

For where does a consistent attitude of falling short of the mark leave us?

Unsatisfied, self conscious, stressed, impatient, intolerant, insecure, lacking self esteem, and always coveting something greater and better. Sound familiar?

Maybe you’re in that place now. If so, then today’s message, grounded in the words of Jesus, will hopefully bring encouragement to you. For we are not to worry about how the world sees us but rather how we stand in the Lord’s eyes.

As we see in our scripture passage for today, Jesus says the following to His disciples (and us as well):

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.” Matthew 10:29-31 Have you ever compared yourself to a sparrow? I didn’t think so. And yet, Jesus chooses something so simple, something so fundamental to underscore an important truth. You see, sparrows were so prevalent in New Testament times that they were sold for a very small price (two for a penny) but despite their meager cost, Jesus tells us that they still mattered a great deal to God. In fact, it was by His will whether they could and would fly or not. So what about us then?

If sparrows count so much to God, then how much more value will we have, those He created in His own image, those who He considers His children. Indeed, God our Father cares for us so intimately that He knows every hair that is on our head. In fact, scripture tells us they are all numbered! Try to count the hairs on your head or someone else’s and see how far you get. If you try it, you’ll see the absolute amazement found in Jesus’ statement. Friends, Jesus’ point should be received and understood by all He holds so dear. For if the sparrows were treasured so much by God, then how much more worth do we hold for Him? The answer is immeasurable worth. In fact, no one will cherish you more than the Lord God Almighty. No one. Given this, one question:

What are we so worried about?

If God cares for us so much, then why are we worried about what others think? How others judge us? How we judge ourselves? We do because Satan influences us in a negative way and we let him get away with it. Every person that God created needs to realize that the devil would like nothing more than to have every them feel unloved, undervalued, unwanted, feeling inadequate and unpopular. The enemy longs for us to yearn and covet more and more and more and more, never feeling fulfilled and seeking everything the world has to offer. In fact, he would have us gauge our worth and our happiness on this. And as he succeeds in taking us to a place where we persistently yearn for the things of the world, he successfully steals us away from realizing all the good things that God has provided. Or in other words, we lose sight of how blessed we really are. So what are we to do with this scripture and the valuable words of our Savior? Let’s treasure them and store them away in our hearts and minds forever, never losing sight of this truth:
