Au where everyone thought Mycroft and Albert were banging when they were actually not. Poor Albert would  constantly get slut-shamed when he’s still a full blown virgin.
Everyday would basically be:
Albert, who was up all night searching through old files for a MI6 mission: God, my knees are killing me.
Moran: Yeah I bet your throat is too. Slut.
Albert: ?
...........................
Albert: This is the last time I am EVER riding a horse.
Moneypenny: That’s not a very nice name to call the Director.
Albert: ???
.......................
Albert, who’s covered in mosquito bites after a field mission: No tea for me. I’m not very thirsty.
Jack: Sure you aren’t. I sincerely hope he used protection.
Albert, remembering Mycroft forgot the bug repellant: Um. We forgot?
Jack:
Jack: Dear God.
.......................
Albert, covered in bruises because he tried and failed miserably at a surprise attack on Mycroft: Ow. OW! That bastard... he didn’t have to be so rough on me.
Louis:
Louis: I am going to kill him.
......................
Bonus! 3 years later at the reunion dinner.
Albert:.... to be fair, it wasn’t too lonely. Mycroft kept me busy through his lovely letters. :D
William: That sounds wonderful, brother!
William, internally: *Lord Almighty, they had sex in prison*
....................
And later when Mycroft and Albert finally got together, everyone would be like “We KNOW”, “Like it wasn’t obvious”
confusing the hell out of Mycal as they only just banged 2 hrs ago.

Bond falls victim to what I am now calling "Steve Rogers Syndrome," where a main character throws away his found family (which the audience has become much more attached to) in favor of a bland, boring, nuclear/heterosexual life. Just because Bond doesn't get his "happy ending" doesn't mean that he doesn't fall into this trope.
I think a lot of people would agree with me when I say that Bond & Madeline have no chemistry. They had no chemistry in Spectre and they continue to have none in NTTD. And yet, we're supposed to care about their relationship because 1) the narrative (i.e. Bond) tells us, instead of shows us, that he loves her, and 2) there is a child (which the narrative also tells us that we should care about).
But the truth is that Bond doesn't trust Madeline. Not really. The second he's attacked by Spectre, he immediately blames her and doesn't even question if he's wrong (and she doesn't really try to convince him otherwise). Now, you may chalk this up to Bond not trusting anybody, but here's where we get to the found family: because he does trust his MI6 family, implicitly, immediately.
He trusts Eve enough to tell her about the scientist, Feliks, what happened in Cuba, etc., and to ask for her help. He trusts Q so much that he gives him the flashdrive he recovered in Cuba, he stays with Q in his apt while he's in London, he places his life in Q's hands multiple times throughout Skyfall, Spectre, and NTTD. He trusts Mallory - even after knowing his shadiness with Herakles, he still trusts him enough to go back under his command. He even trusts Nomi after only a few days of meeting her - enough to trust her to have his back on the island, enough to trust her with Madeline and his child.
So the fact that Bond doesn't trust Madeline is a huge, huge red flag. To me, the "trilogy" of Skyfall, Spectre, and NTTD were all about establishing Bond's support system and family within MI6. In Casino Royale and QoS, he really only had M, and no other connections to MI6 beyond her. But starting with Skyfall, he begins to build a support network of people he does trust in MI6, and the audience begins to trust them (and love them) along with Bond.
This simply doesn't apply to Madeline, because Bond doesn't trust her, and so the audience is never shown why we should trust her or love her.

So an unfortunate blur means if you go backwards through NTTD screenshots, it tells a short story of Q finally standing up to Bond's BS.
Bond: Hello, Q; do me a favour?
Q: Actually, Bond... *throws USB drive on the ground* ...I'd rather not
Moneypenny and Bond: 😯 😐

Team Moriarty right before William's wedding,
Sebastian fixing his bow tie in front of the mirror: Well, got to go, I've a wedding to attend.
Bond, sitting up straight: Wait. I've a wedding to attend too!
Herder, holding a wedding card in hand: Oh, uh, me too?
Fred, rushing in the room while putting his coat on: Let's get going, it's already late.
Moneypenny, finishing her makeup: Um, people... I think we ALL have weddings to attend.
Fred, in disbelief: Are you serious? Weddings? You all even forgot WHO is getting married?
Jack, literally jumping down the stairs with his coat in his hand: GOD I FORGOT I HAVE TO WALK HIM DOWN THE AISLE!
[Louis was the only one who was there on time. Well, Albert too... But he was busy sipping wine.]

One Dress a Day Challenge
September: Bond Films
Skyfall / Naomie Harris as Eve (Moneypenny)
There are so many great formal and evening dresses in the Bond films that I feel like I've been neglecting daywear. So here's Eve Moneypenny in a stylish day-at-the-office outfit from Skyfall. The blouse is relatively simple, with light gathering at the shoulders, double pockets, and accents of black. She wears the sleeves rolled to the elbow, but I wonder if they have black at the cuffs; then again, it might be intended to be worn with rolled sleeves, hard to say. This is paired with a just-above-the-knee, mustard-yellow pencil skirt and black ankle boots.
Even though her name is the same, her backstory has changed so much that I feel like this is a whole different character from earlier versions of Moneypenny.

Eve Moneypenny Day
A few headcanons for our favourite BAMF!PA
Eve's path to the SIS came first as a police officer. She joined the Met straight out of school and was immediately directed to their Officer Fasttrack Programme. By 22 she had a degree in Criminology, had completed the advanced evasive driving skills courses and was a DC with the armed protection unit.
It was on an inter-agency mission between The Met, MI5 and MI6 that Moneypenny first came to the attention of M as she drove backwards at 90 miles per hour on the M25 to block in the suspected suicide bomber on their way to central London.
M personally mentored Moneypenny. She saw a lot of her younger self in the Agent.
Eve didn't mins shooting Bond too much. The hours they had spent together flying to Turkey had revealed just how much he could drink and how difficult he found being told 'no' to his sexual advances.
She flew to Cancun at Q's request. Bond wouldn't have been the first Agent to suddenly reappear, only to have joined forces with the other side. She also wanted to get the shagging out of the way so they could work together properly. She thoroughly checked Bond's room and clothing as he slept afterwards.
It was Tanner that persuaded her to leave the field and become Malloy's 'PA'.
Tanner and Moneypenny have a curry together once a month. They basically run the SIS between them and allow themselves two hours each month to gossip and complain about everyone.
She slips away quietly to marry her partner just before being made M. Tanner and Q act as witnesses and she makes Bond be her Bridesman. He is surprisingly good at the job.

Seeing it’s Skyfall anniversary I thought I’d show you guys one of my first fanart for this movie and fandom. Originally I wanted to clean this up and make it look like those cool character design line-ups. Sadly I never finished it. Might try again someday…

Here be headcanons
It's happening! Kicking off the first day of 007 Fest 2023 with some MI6 worldbuilding headcanons for Headcanons Day (AKA the HCs crammed into my WIP to make sense of film-world MI6)
Q Branch is just a small part of Six (and everyone else thinks the double-oh programme is more trouble than it's worth)
Q Branch makes no sense. As film!Q is a shorthand for the mission support teams for narrative ease, Q Branch seems to run independently and Q himself is a polymath taking on all the roles.
Eh, I'm okay with genius Q because I love him 🤷 Other Q Branchers are all wildly smart and eccentric in their own ways. That's Q's hiring policy
Most analysis, missions, etc. are run through logical departments with hundreds of staff, which the problem children doubles-ohs and Q Branch build on for their specialist missions
Lots of Six staff don't like the double-ohs and Q Branch by extension – they burn through the budget, cause havoc and get away with multitudes, and a little more secrecy and intelligence in the SIS would be much preferred
Maybe it's for the best that Q Branch is away from HQ up-river at Millbank Pier (based on this excellent post)
Essentially, Mallory has hundreds, maybe thousands, of staff and assets globally, yet it's 1% of his staff that causes 99.9% of his headaches
Heracles isn't the first off-book project and it won't be the last
Mallory was used as a character to hang the Heracles plot on, but it leaves a lot of questions. Why was he even involved? Why isn't it the responsibility of the Defence Science and Technology Lab?
I figure all the UK's intelligence agencies have joint off-book operations like the Heracles research, some farmed out to private contractors, etc. So, Heracles isn't special, it's just that this secret got found out and had big consequences
Maybe Mallory had a hand in Obruchev defecting, so those consequences were extra personal
Also, imagine being Mallory: was Chair of the committee looking into MI6 shadiness, only to get hired as M and get tangled into all this shadiness
Q & Moneypenny besties: great; Q & Moneypenny & Tanner: even better
After Spectre, they didn't know who to trust, except one another. They keep Six running and they're each other's rocks and best bitching buddies
Q, despite what he says, is the most dramatic of the three. Moneypenny, of course, delights in winding Q up. Tanner isn't as catty as those two, except for when the mood strikes and he's the worst
Tanner gets swept up in various antics, often Bond's, along with Q and Moneypenny. However, he's perfected bland-faced innocence and Mallory never gives him grief for it. Q and Moneypenny find this very annoying

007 Fest Headcannon Day!
Happy Day 1 of Fest and happy Headcannon Day! Below are some headcannons I have around various characters:
Moneypenny is the brains behind everything. Before M died she brought Moneypenny on as her second and caught her up on everything. Mallory is the face of MI6 but Moneypenny is the real leader and both are okay with that.
Q knits as stress relief, but doesn’t wear anything he knits. Instead he buys very expensive sweaters or thrifts them and gives away what he makes to homeless shelters.
Alec and James both lived together for most of their MI6 careers and burned down multiple places; they are banned from large swaths of London’s real estate.
Q isn’t a Holmes sibling, but he is related (a cousin of some-sort) and tries really hard to hide it - i.e ignoring Mycroft and Sherlock as much as possible. He’s perfectly content for them to be the face of the Holmes clan.
James and Q’s relationship started really really really slow, Q is on the ace spectrum, and as such both took a long time to negotiate boundaries and other things regarding their relationship - especially as their jobs were both demanding and Bond is often required to have sex with others for work.
James likes to build things during his spare time. He likes to use Q’s office at home or his own MI6 office whenever he has down time and builds things - some of them might be working on stuff for missions (like testing Q branch inventions) or just stuff he wants to build. Q likes to encourage him by ensuring James has the place to himself if he is at MI6 or working quietly beside him when at home. He only makes comments when Bond asks or provides opinions on a Q branch invention.
Moneypenny sews her own clothes. They always have the most hidden pockets and the nicest fabric and look the best on her because she tailors them all for herself or sews them. Most of her everyday wear has ballistic cloth as the lining and she works with a special tailor to get this fabric and have things made when she can’t do it herself (Kingsmen crossover anyone?)
James found out about the ballistic cloth and had several suits made for him and Q and a couple of Q’s vests and sweaters lined with the fabric to make himself feel better when he is off on missions. Q doesn't mind because they really are fantastic quality.
Speaking of Moneypenny, her shoes are all custom made as well, with Q's input. Q has a special workspace just for Moneypenny’s shoes that he works on in his spare time. Some of the things he’s added to her shoes include special knives, hidden spaces for hard-drives or other listening devices, and a gun.
Q gets sick easily (asthma or other immunocompromised issue) that means that he pays special attention to his body and his symptoms, James also does, and when he notices something that might be acting up (often faster than Q does) he enlists Moneypenny and others to making sure Q’s diet is best for him and that he gets more sleep. This works, and Q doesn’t even realize that he is being managed this way.
Q and Moneypenny both love metal/rock and bond over listening and watching live shows whenever they can. Both love symphonic metal and Bond, who is an absolute Classic Rock over everything fan, has actually begun to like some of the bands Q plays at home while coding.
