honestly lost respect for anyone who is usually chronically online but refrains from addressing the genozide that is happening in palestine for fear of ‚damaging their professional image‘.

July 23
#1. the weather this month was horrible. how is it raining this much in the middle of summer? so annoying#2. July was a month full of having mehmaan or going to visit other peoples houses. I’m a pretty social person and I usually love spending#spending time with family but this was a bit too much#I made my version of knafeh after quite some time (without a recipe really) and it turned out good 😃#3. flowers my mum regretted buying cause after paying she saw other ones she liked more and which were cheaper lol#4. these beads I used last year to make necklace. wore it only a few times so decided to change it and make it into a phone chain. also#got this cute sticker from work. cute right. my inner child is really happy with the amount of cute stickers I can just use#5. every year there’s this group of Muslim youth from another city. and they organise a carnival type a thing for the kids in their city#2 years ago I volunteered there and decided to do it again this year. it’s not in my own city but our masjid is in that city. took my mum#+ little brother with so he could play. my aunt also came with her kids and it was a really nice day. the whole thing was organised and run#by Muslims and was free for all. i had a good time helping out and was asked if I wanna join the committee (?). I declined#bc it’s a little too far for me to be present throughout the year. I will continue to help on the day of in sha Allah. anyway they did do#catering for the volunteers and it was from one of my favourite restaurants in that city. I kinda know the owner so when I saw him when I#joked if my favourite cheesecake would also be provided today. he said unfortunately not but he’ll bring some just for me so he did 🥺#6. made a little heart w my baby bros hair#monthly recap

keep thinking about everything that my in laws tried to use against me like not having a job, having no drive, not praying, etc etc to make me look like a bad person couldn’t work because i had found a job, have never been more motivated in my life and since being away from them all i started praying 5 times a day so every time they bought up a point my dad could honestly refute it

The King's Chamber
In the ancient city of Babylon, atop the majestic ziggurat, sat a chamber reserved for the king—a place where power and authority were wielded with impunity. For centuries, the rulers of Babylon had used their position to enforce their own laws and impose their will upon the people, all in the name of false gods.
youtube
From his heavenly abode, Allah observed the plight of the people below, their hearts clouded by the darkness of ignorance and falsehood. Moved by compassion and justice, Allah resolved to descend from the heavens and reclaim his rightful place as the one true God.
youtube
With a thunderous roar, Allah descended from the skies, his divine presence illuminating the city with a radiant light. As he set foot upon the earth, the ground shook beneath him, and the false towers and pyramids of Babylon trembled in fear.
youtube
The priests and rulers, who had long reveled in their power and authority, cowered before the presence of Allah, their arrogance stripped away like leaves in the wind. With a voice that echoed across the land, Allah declared the end of their tyranny and the restoration of truth and righteousness.
youtube
With a wave of his hand, Allah shattered the false towers and pyramids of Babylon, reducing them to rubble and dust. In their place, he erected a new monument—a testament to the glory of the one true God and the folly of those who had dared to defy him.
youtube
As the people of Babylon looked upon the ruins of their once-mighty city, they saw the error of their ways and turned back to the path of righteousness. With hearts purified by the light of truth, they rebuilt their city, this time in honor of Allah and his eternal wisdom.
And so, the King's Chamber atop the ziggurat became a place of worship for the true believers, a symbol of the triumph of light over darkness and the power of Allah to bring justice to the world. And though the memory of Babylon's false gods faded with time, the name of Allah endured, a beacon of hope for all who sought guidance and redemption.

This is an emblem of what true service looks like – not the groveling obeisance of a slave to form, but the loving kindness of a servant of love and slave to Truth. A Servant of the Highest does not chase after the world’s adulterated forms of ‘love’, but leads, demanding what Love really is. Love is not the sappy tail-chasing of weak and desperate cowards, but the fiery sword that demands Heavenly Love and nothing else. May the false loves and lovers be extinguished, for they taint the name of Love, degrading it to create evil on earth.
Thus, do not make an idol of a word, or of wood, nor of love, nor water. What is true IS – it is not to be fawned over; Glorify what IS Real, not grope for what merely suffices in poor facsimile. A calamity it is to celebrate lowness, fancying dead works as Life, or alive, when they are cold. To be loving is not to be merely gentle and soft, as many demons without a heart are, but to care and to act and to destroy wrongdoing – to breathe fire, not to passively sip water. To go the extra mile, into the unseen, at all costs, for love – this is Faith.
Isaiah 35:8 “Keynote of Joshua”:
“And there shall be a highway, and a waterway, and it shall be called Yah High Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be easy for others: the holy one who walks the road with ardor, though a fool, shall not fall away.”
(And they shall see what is there. Selah.)

Ever since early childhood, the verses of Surah Ikhlas "Qul hu Allahu Ahad, Allahu Samad" rolled off our tongues like a little rhyme. But as we got older, the deeper meaning of the teeny tiny verse "And there is none like Him" [112:4] grew into our hearts. And as we go through the trials of life we realise- when we are alone, there is no one who accompanies us like Allah does. When we are worried, there is no one who takes care of our affairs like Allah does. When we are broken, there is no one who mends us like Allah does. When we are hopeless, no one becomes our hope like Allah does. When we beg Him, there is no one who responds to us like Allah does. When we are afraid of the future, there is no one who relieves us like Allah does. When we are needy, there is no one who provides like Allah does. And when we sin, there is no one who forgives like Allah does.🥹❤️‍🩹

seeing the videos and photos of palestinians fleeing from the north to the south of gaza, mostly on foot with a few donkey carts here and there, is so haunting in the way that it looks exactly like photos from the 1948 nakba. the ethnic cleansing and the genocide never ended. it’s just on an accelerated timescale now.
and, if you actually think palestinians moving to the south will give them any modicum of safety, you’re wrong because that so-called ‘safe zone’ in the south is still being bombed AND the palestinians who are being forcibly displaced are continually being attacked. today (10.11.23) israeli soldiers opened fire on palestinians who were trying to leave Al-Nasser hospital in northern gaza while waving white flags (universally recognised as a symbol of surrender/peace) and also bombed palestinians leaving through Salah Eddin Street which they had been told by israel was a ‘safe route’.
besides attacking those trying to leave, israel has, in the last ~24 hours:
9.11.23 - carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of the Indonesian hospital (which is now totally out of electricity as of 10.11.23)
9.11.23 - bombed the courtyard of Al-Shifa hospital (@/ahmedhijazee on IG)
9.11.23 - bombed ambulances and paramedics outside Al-Awda hospital (@/palestine.pixel on IG)
9.11.23 - attacked Al-Rantisi hospital (a paediatric hospital btw) which resulted in areas of the hospital being set on fire (@/ahmedeldin on IG)
10.11.23 - bombed the outpatient clinic of Al-Shifa hospital (using a Hellfire R9X missile, also called the ‘flying ginsu’ because of the fact that it doesn’t explode but instead deploys several blades which fly at high speed, and essentially shred their targets). there are (very graphic) videos showing the martyrs and those injured in this attack @/palestine.pixel and a censored version @/middleeasteye on IG
10.11.23 - shot at palestinian staff and patients inside the ICU of Al-Quds hospital (@/PalestinePRCS on X)
today has been described as a ‘day of war on hospitals’ by the Director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex:

and here are some updates from Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta, who has been providing medical care and performing surgeries in different hospitals across the gaza strip:
Tumblr media
and this still isn’t even all of the attacks of the last 2 days in gaza - there have been others on schools which are acting as shelters for the displaced, and, of course, refugee camps. the number of martyrs from bombings alone is almost at 11000.
also remember: there is ongoing settler violence and ethnic cleansing happening in the west bank where palestinians are also being martyred, there are now reports of people dying from starvation and dehydration, and from wounds/infection. ya Allah reham kar 🤲🏽
