ohhh I have an Arcane OC! I think I can tweak her backstory a bit to better suit FnF hehe.

Her name is Iris and she’s an orphan of Ionian descent, born and raised in the Undercity, living rough like any other Sumpsnipe up until her late teens. She’s a graffiti artist and painter who snuck her way into a Progress Day fair selling paintings. She was almost arrested for vending without a permit but a Piltie merchant saw her talent and declared himself her patron. That saved her from jail and started her career as a professional painter.

Her specialty is portraits, both individual and for families so ofc that’s a great fit for the Elite™. Whenever Iris visits Topside households to paint said portraits, she always sneaks extra food or jewelry into her pockets to pawn back home. 

It’s one thing to be subject to random violence in the Undercity and Iris is no stranger to that, having survived a few close calls herself. But her new income is really good, and now Iris finds herself being specifically targeted by strangers who want to rob her and friends who try to take advantage of her. At first she’s happy to share her money with whoever she can, but the stress of being a one-person universal basic income program eventually gets to her. So she tells all her “friends” to fuck off. 

The way that Pilties treat her isn’t much better, calling her “one of the good ones” and saying how “respectable” and “exceptional” she is, ofc in an extremely condescending tone. So she’s really lonely now, no friends above or below. Probably the closest friends she has now are the matrons at the orphanage she was raised in, but seeing as they’re over 20 years older than her they’re not exactly her peers.

She keeps herself busy by volunteering at the orphanage in her free time, hoping to give the kids a better childhood than the one she endured. Fast forward to Act 2/3, she’s the same age as Viktor/Jayce/Mel and has some impressive commissions in her portfolio, most notably the mural that Vi parkours past in Ep 5. 

It’ll be fun to see how you decide to feature her if you do hehe, no pressure :3c but I could maybe see Silco wondering if her connections to Topside’s Most Privileged are worth using/exploiting…
