just thinking about how interesting and sad and kind of sweet it is that lety and fernando both have equally childish personalities, but for completely opposite (and complementary) reasons. and how that was such an unconscious draw between them

lety's whole aesthetic, mannerisms, and naiveté come from how sheltered and babied she was by her parents. going into how toxic don erasmo's parenting was is another tangent entirely, but all the little details like the plushies she collects (many she's had since she was small), and the constant "la niña, la niña" from both erasmo and julieta (and even the gifts doña julieta gave lety for her birthday were pretty infantile when considering the context of lety's situation) — it all of course comes together to show how all of that kept lety from growing up mentally and emotionally

but then you've got fernando with the entirely opposite problem. the villarroels joining his family and the subsequent neglect from his parents fueled his emotional immaturity and selfishness, but at the same time it had him grow up way too fast. between trying to be nice and supportive to a grieving little marcia, and his competing with ariel for don humberto's approval, and having both his parents telling him he didn't need as much attention as the kids who lost their parents, fernando lost his entire childhood. and in the present he clings to that lost childhood with similar little details as lety like the toy car, and how playful he always is. (i also love how he wanted to keep the toy puppy omar bought for lety that made sounds lmao)

it's an interesting parallel of how both extremes emotionally stunted them. and whereas lety's childishness is encouraged by her family, the mendiolas and villarroels have zero patience for fernando's childishness. the two extremes also have them meeting each other in the middle in a nice (though enabling) way. they're both very dramatic, have clown personalities and the same sense of humor, and while they don't necessarily have patience for each other's behavior, they accept and adapt to each other's quirks very easily

the grocery store episode is such a good example of how well they click personality-wise because of all this. bc they were literally just two dumb children loose in a store with no plan and no braincell in sight: lety running into stuff; fernando not knowing what broccoli is; lety lying to her dad so he doesn't know she's on a date; fernando trying to take the whole store home; lety pushing fers on the shopping cart; both of them dancing around the store while fake-speaking portuguese. like that's their domestic life, that's their day-to-day relationship that we don't get to see after the main story's over

and i can't imagine what terrors they'd be together every day at conceptos (the canon ending isn't canon to me btw). like how was anyone the least bit surprised that conceptos almost went under when it was in the hands of two actual children (+ omar, another child, and a whole other tangent)

jack watched from the sliding door that lead to the kitchen as his first born hopped the fence from next door. when he saw liliana walk over he shut the door and went to sit on a stool. lalo greeted her and yipped at her.

"shhh, you're gonna wake up evryone." she whispered.

"we're all awake, don't worry." jack said cooly.

"shit." she mumbled under her breath.

"shit indeed. what the hell were you thinking?"

"jack you said you weren't gonna yell." monse yawned entering the kitchen.

"i lied much like your daughter."

"oh he's mad." "lily is gonna get the chancla." the twins giggled.

"a dormir." monse pointed to the stairs.

"which one of you snitched?" liliana turned to her sisters.

"mrs. carusso did," jack said sternly.

mrs carusso was their 80 year old neighbor. she had hedges in animal shapes and she got cameras installed the over week when she noticed that her hedges where were getting deformed. her grandson sent jack a video compilation of liliana hopping the fence and where she's getting picked up in front of her house by a black range rover.

"where the fuck are you sneaking off to?" jack asked.

"to study." she said.

"you expect me to belie-"

"check my backpack." she tossed her backpack across the counter.

"liliana," monse warned her.

"whatever i'm going to bed." she sighed.

liliana pushed passed them and stomped upstairs, slamming her door shut.

"studying? does she think we're stupid?" jack looked at monse in disbelief.

"she has been studying." ana leticia said filling up her hydroflask. "she'd been failing her ap calc quizzes. her teacher sent home a letter where if she didn't pass next two tests she would get dropped and put back in pre-calc."

"how do you?" monse turned to her.

"lucia forged dad's signature."

"why do you three insist on raising my blood pressure?" jack rubbed his temples.

"i'm pretty sure it's all the kfc you ate in your 20s finally getting to you." ana leticia shrugged.

"why didn't she just tell us?" monse asked jack. "we could have gotten her a tutor or soemthing."

"when? between soccer, environmental club, piano and volunteering when would she had time to get tutored?" ana lucia asked, grabbing a handful of blueberries.

before jack could scold her for also being up the doorbell rang.

"who the hell is out here at this hour?" he asked making his way to the door.

liliana rushed down stairs but jack had beat her to the door. he opened it revealing marcus thompson, retired point guard of the boston celtics who now resided in louisville. he was three years older than jack and monse and had a son around liliana's age. the son in question was standing next to marcus.

"hi-hello," jack stuttered nervously, earning a few giggles from the twins.

"hey jack, your kid left her notebook in my car when i dropped her off after their study session at the diner." marcus said, holding up monse's math notebook. he nodded his head to his son. "spencer wanted to drop off her notebook even after i told him to drop it off in the morning."

"thank you, i'll make sure she gets it." he took the notebook.

"we should get going, hopefully we can get more acquainted in more reasonable hours."

"drive safe." jack told them.

he waited for them to pull out of the drive way before closing the door. he turned around and the girls giggled.

"not dad being down bad for spencer's dad." ana lucia whispered to leticia and liliana.

"not you laughing like you're not gonna get grounded for forging my signature to cover your sister's ass." he said in the same tone.

Protagonizada por los jóvenes actores Federica García, Máximo Hollander y Theo Goldin, acompañados por Julio César Cedillo, Sergio Mayer Mori, Cecilia Suárez, Manolo Cardona y Julio Bracho, “A Cielo Abierto” cuenta la historia de dos hermanos adolescentes que junto a su hermanastra emprenden un viaje de carretera hasta la frontera entre México y Estados Unidos para dar con el responsable del accidente que causó la muerte de su padre.

Dirigida por Mariana Arriaga y Santiago Arriaga, “A Cielo Abierto” fue escrita por Guillermo Arriaga, autor de “Los Tres Entierros de Melquíades Estrada” ( Mejor Guión en el Festival de Cannes) “Amores Perros”, “21 gramos” y “Babel” (Nominada al Oscar al Mejor Guión).

La película se rodó en el estado de Coahuila, en las ciudades de Saltillo y Piedras Negras y en la Ciudad de México. Se trata de la primera producción de K&S Films México.

La distribución en México estará a cargo de Cinépolis Distribución. "A Cielo Abierto" es un guión escrito por nuestro padre en los años noventa. Cuando éramos niños, nos embarcamos junto a él en innumerables viajes de caza, atravesando los agrestes paisajes del norte de México, al igual que el personaje central de nuestra historia. Estos viajes encendieron nuestra imaginación, evocando vívidas imágenes de los escenarios, los personajes y la odisea que les esperaba. En "A Cielo Abierto" aspirábamos a crear una exploración sobre las profundas consecuencias que se derivan del dolor y la pérdida. Nos obligó a reflexionar sobre las decisiones que tomamos cuando nos enfrentamos a un dolor indescriptible y cómo esas decisiones conforman nuestros caminos hacia la redención. Relato do pós carnaval/experiências que vivi desde a última semana.

Quarta feira passada começou o primeiro dia de carnaval, onde eu cheguei e me diverti bastante, logo no começo eu fiquei com a Sarah, que já havia tempos que queria ficar com ela. Um tempinho depois começou a chover e acabei ficando com a Julia, que eu já havia ficado antes alguns meses atrás. Como a Sarah tinha sumido acabei curtindo mais com a Julia, dançamos na chuva e por fim viemos para minha casa, tivemos um role bem agradável, dormi transando e acordei transando mais ainda.

No outro dia, eu com o ego lá em cima, ainda afim de pegar a Sarah acabei ignorando e possivelmente perdendo a Julia porque meio que ignorei ela o role quase inteiro pra ficar em cima da Sarah.

No fim das contas perdi a Julia e a Sarah... aí beleza.

Continuei curtindo os outros dias de role e fiquei com uma tal de Ana Clara, nosso beijo encaixou demais, fiquei apaixonado com ela, pelo menos dessa vez eu peguei o insta... kkkk

Agora já no último dia de carnaval, acabei encontrando Leticia e Ariane, que por fim ficaram com raiva porque eu fui ver a Jéssica, só que eu fiquei muito maluco e acabei não vendo elas quando elas estavam perto de mim, daí disseram que eu olhei pra elas e virei a cara, as duas ficaram com raiva a pararam de falar comigo.

Enfim, é hora de observar os ciclos e começar a fazer coisas novas e sair dessa rotina de sair bastante e etc, preciso focar nos meus objetivos pra poder viver melhor.

Único role aceitável de agora em diante são datezinhos p ficar com algumas garotas pq né, n dá pra ficar sem não.
