ROUND 2 MATCH 4: TIANXI VS. PAMSWORTH
Tianxi Propaganda:
"Su Xiyan is THE girlboss in this relationship. She's a highly competent cultivator that meets Tianlang-jun, the Heavenly Demon Emperor who's pretending to be a poor and weak cultivator. He wants to malewife SO BAD, but everyone keeps deciding he needs to die 🙄. Like, I can overstate their girlboss/malewife dynamic"
"Hot lady with a sword rizzing up a wastrel of a Demon Emperor, what's not to love? But I believe Tianlang-jun's nephew put it best: "Why was Su Xiyan acting like one of those wealthy young masters in plays, with their distinguished statuses and heaps of money? Why was Tianlang-Jun acting like one of those pampered young ladies, who had run away from home and was ignorant of the world? [...] Zhuzhi-Lang had attempted to alert his lord to this reversal of roles, to tell him that he needed to retrieve his dignity as the highest ruler of the demon realm, but Tianlang-Jun seemed to find pleasure in this sugar daddy, sugar baby relationship."
"Literally the most girlboss and malewife to have come out of an MXTX novel, no one will ever compare to them. They have been noted to subvert traditional gender roles and TLJ is compares to his son who jis also very much malewife (enjoys cooking and chores and taking care of his husband)"
Pamsworth Propaganda:
"She literally is the Final Pam. She blew up her neighbors for not inviting her to their barbeque. She decimates things in a single punch and can jump miles in the air and run at the speed of sound. And she's hot af. Coddsworth is Metal Husband and he literally is a robot that takes care of their home."

I came across my SVSSS Xi Yang Yang AU again and I love the idea so much because it’s mashing two series I love together, but also it’s pretty…cringey. 😂
I know, I know; embrace the cringe and cringe culture is dead and all that… But it’s so random and I am still very much alive so can’t help it if I get embarrassed haha. I thought I’d share a “preview” of some of the designs anyway—at least before I can overthink it any further or regret it and delete it—but yeah!
SVSSS but as wolves and sheep. Specifically from Xi Yang Yang in the post-Mighty Little Defenders style. 🥺
I hope I can finally digitally finish all the designs I have someday so I can fully embrace and share the cringe with you all!

CW: Time and Him are Just Right
I'm always down for a youth drama. So, when I saw the poster of this drama in my iQiyi home page, I decided to check it out.
Time and Him are Just Right is a 25-episode Chinese drama. It follows the typical formula of youth dramas where we have two unlikely people: the male lead being cold, and straight-forward while the female lead is bright and enthusiastic, fall in love. This show follows their adventures as they go through their youth together.
Not going to lie, I disliked the first 4 episodes a lot. The antics of the female lead to befriend the male lead gave me secondhand embarrassment.
It made me cringe.
But I persevered and it paid off in the long run. 19 eps later, I learned to enjoy the chemistry between the leads.
Who could when they give us scenes like this.
Unlike a lot of youth dramas, the main couple here are actually both smart. There's no academic rivals tension going on between them, rather they help each other prosper in their own respective paths. I really like that.
This show doesn't really bring anything new to this genre, but it has everything I love in it: the friendships, finding your own directions, making mistakes and learning from them, the sweetness of first love. It literally takes me back to memory lane. It also portrays common problems young people often encounter which makes it very relatable. There are life lessons, and although shallow, I think any age group can appreciate it.
