How do you think Ortega reacts to inappropriate comments about them? How would they feel about people making inappropriate comments, advances or gestures towards them?

hmm I think they probably had to develop a pretty thick skin about it probably tries to laugh most of it off but catch them on the wrong day or push a little too far and I can see ortega going off on someone.

I mean we all see the crazy thirst tweets and fan videos and I'm sure the same thing would happen in Los Diablos. probably plenty of people shooting their shot.

the electric powers might help mitigate the people trying to touch or cop a feel at least. tell a few "funny" stories about accidentally shocking fellow rangers when they got snuck up on and hopefully people will keep their hands to themselves.

She laughs to herself a little, sighing at the events of the day. Her coffee spilled on the pavement this morning, her very own energetic boost of the day. Afterwards, she almost tripped onto her face before Ryan stops her from an embarrassing fall. Besides that, she also accidentally closing her draft without saving it. A nightmare for one Raylene Gray, which follows with her lunch in the kitchen was burned due to her emotional breakdown over the document. Still grieving of the scenes she wrote down, only for it to disappear.

The text summarizes her whole day, and it's only four in the afternoon. Arthur wasn't here today, he left for a business trip the last two days. He's supposed to return tomorrow and she regrets not joining him, maybe she'll get the cuddles sooner than later. But, a meeting stopped her from joining onto the trip - as she waits for him to return. The text itself symbolizes it, she's sad and she wishes to be cuddled with a good movie, and maybe take out too.

The hours went by and she in fact did ordered take out, as she decided to ditch work and have a self care time instead. She's still sad, that's a matter of fact; the ideas she tried to rewrite only end up as scratch itself, the take out was laid on the table. Comfort food at its best, a tub of ice cream in the ready, a whole catalogue of rom-com she prepared. It's a good me-day for her, as she finally prepares for the session, only for the doorbell to step in her way.

She checks the time, it's almost 8pm due to her extra nap before her self care session. The sun already set, as she walks through the door. A familiar figure stood by on the other side of the door, Arthur standing there with a pizza box; and a judgemental raised eyebrow which she returns with a smile.

"That's...mine." she said sheepishly, before she jumps into his arms as he held her as Arthur shuts the door with his foot.

Raylene's hands are wrapped around his neck, letting out a breath; no words needed between them. He's here, and well; that's enough for her. She translates her thoughts with her lips meeting his, with the gesture returned with a spoken meaning within it. In between the lines of, it's good to be back.

Arthur somehow finds it all amusing, and apparently surprised himself as well to be returning a day early from his business. The text from her was the final push, and well; it feels great to be back. The subtle amused smile on his face, as Ray meets his eyes before he sets her down on the couch. The movie begins to play in a swift motion, as he joins by her side.

Words, it doesn't exist within the silence and that's enough for them. As she snuggles onto him, a part that's been missing the last few days; as the cure of the shitty day. It's indeed the perfect cure.

Hello! I just finished reading A Power Unbound, and firstly I wanted to tell you that I love this trilogy so, so much. I recommend A Marvellous Light to basically everyone I meet, and I was SO excited for this last book upon learning Ross and Hawthorn were the main couple. It did not disappoint!! I'd loved Hawthorn from his first scene in AML and him getting his own book and romance made me so happy. So THANK YOU for these wonderful characters and beautiful books, I'm very much looking forward to your future writing!

I did have a couple questions, if you had answers you're at all willing to share. Hawthorn stan that I am, I'm also fascinated by the drama that is Edwin/Hawthorn lmao, I think that sort of doomed relationship is so delicious. Have you written or would you ever write anything prequel-y about them? A short story or the like? If not, is there anything you brainstormed up about them that didn't make it into the books?

Secondly, do Edwin and Robin ever find out that Ross wrote the Roman books? Because that would be such a funny scene.

I do - commenting is probably my most favorite part of being a fic reader, so the comments section is important to me. there’s so much to love out there, and the comments are my favorite place to express it

none! don’t think I’m angst guy, really. I have some wips with pining, with complicated family feelings, with hurt, but it doesn’t quite feel like angst. and certainly won’t end that way!

well, surprise: sun shower has a pretty sweet ending. it feels like a beginning more than an ending, though.

not yet, but I think I would really love this. I feel so much love about other people’s writing and so excited to share in ideas, so I feel like this format would be such a delight for me.

I don’t think I have one all-time, because once I love something I love it forever. so I just keep collecting more all-time favorites. but drarry I feel the most immense about and committed to, which is saying something because there’s very little I love that I don’t love immensely. and to be honest, my commitment to drarry is certainly because I love them as characters, but it is also about the community being so wonderful. so thank you, y’all, it’s really special here.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but probably never will?

so I had this completely bonkers idea that I call “avada banana tag” which is when someone dies everyone they avada-ed comes back to life, like banana tag. i.e. when Molly kills Bellatrix, we get Sirius back, etc (yes I know that only happens in the movie but bear with me for goofy concept reasons). like, the spell only holds as long as they do? makes it a pretty short-sighted way of killing someone. but that’s as far as the idea goes because it’s so absurd and messy, and I don’t think canon rewrites are something I’d know how to do justice. but I think it’s so funny and fascinating, so if anyone wants to run with it please feel free

100% it’s coming up with ideas. you should see my idea dump document, it’s abundant in there. and maybe description, I hope, and sensory experiences

17. What are your biggest writing weaknesses?

I won’t call it a weakness but I have less experience with plotty things, and get really stuck in dialogue that feels off.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language?

I’m not fluent enough in anything else that I think I could do this myself, but as a reader I really love it, both when I do and don’t understand what’s going on. and I like communicating that they’re speaking in another language without just translating. I think I’d love to incorporate my other languages (spanish and ASL) into fic, and I also love when Draco speaks french. when it’s well done I think it’s so impactful!

I think it was actually someone else’s OCs, what feels like forever ago

20. What is your favorite fic you’ve written?

the one that’s still in my brain that I think about most days… it’s so very beautiful. I hope one day it makes it out of there!

Regulus hesitated, eyeing him for a moment with suspicion. In public he was untouchable. No one would dare to attack him, no one was stupid enough to try, and it was a privilege Regulus was not afraid to abuse if it helped him achieve his goals. But here in the vast, empty halls of Malfoy Manor, with only Narcissa and the house-elves for company, Riddle could very easily get away with anything.

Regulus was arrogant, but not so much to assume the man before him couldn't crush him like a bug if it came to a fight.

His mind rushed to list all the risks - touch-based poisons, curses, monitoring spells, jinxes - and desperately wished he had thought to wear his gloves. He hadn't anticipated this ambush happening so soon, and not from an innocent invitation to have tea with his cousin, but maybe he should have. He knew where Narcissa's loyalty lay.

With a subtle downward curl to his lips, Regulus shook the man's hand. He would have to find a second to cast a diagnosis charm, because there was no way the rising Dark Lord would miss the chance skin-to-skin contact with Regulus could give him.

Riddle gave him a gilded smile, as if he knew precisely what he was thinking and found it funny. "How good to see you again. Come," Riddle continued smoothly, and against all expectation and protocol, he used his grip on Regulus hand to coax him further down the hall.

Regulus was unbalanced enough to allow it. He shot a look at Narcissa, but his cousin was facing forward, ignoring him completely as she followed them. Reduced to the background in her own home. It smarted Regulus' own pride to see her so demure, despite her participation in this farce.

Riddle led him into the nicer sitting room, and guided Regulus right to his seat. Stubbornly, he waited until Riddle was at his own chair before sitting down.

Narcissa took the place beside him, her hands folding atop her lap, and it was only then that she turned to smile at him. "Cousin, how have you been?"

Regulus considered briefly how he wanted to play this. He could pretend this was a normal occurrence, as if Riddle was a usual fixture in these meetings and privy to such intimate talks.

Or he could be more combative.

Logic dictated one but his instincts prompted the other.

"I'm fine, Cissy. Why are you here, Mr. Riddle?"

Riddle appeared delighted to be asked. "Straight to the point, Lord Black?"

"My time is precious," he answered, heavy with implications that wiped some of Riddle's smugness right off. "If there's a reason you orchestrated this entire thing, if there's something you wished to speak to me about, I'd rather know it now."

"Such an accusation. What makes you think I orchestrated this?" Riddle replied, his eyes bright with intrigue as he barely put any effort into the lie. "Perhaps it's a happy coincidence."

Regulus clasped his hands and leaned forward to meet that heavy gaze. "I don't think coincidences happen to a man like you, Mr. Riddle."

There was a moment when they just smiled at each other, both aware how close to the edge they were walking, before Riddle finally broke the stalemate. "It's about the latest bill -"

"I'm not changing my stance," Regulus cut in, voice hardening. "And forgive me for saying it, Mr. Riddle, but you seem far too interested in politics for a man whose most notable achievement outside of graduating Hogwarts was being a sales assistant."

Oh ho ho, Regulus thought with vicious amusement, that one got him.

And Riddle couldn't say anything to counter that, because at this point in the time, Regulus wasn't supposed to know he was the rumoured Dark Lord.

From what i can see, her can is in good condition. Better than most! Very little erosion, no signs of parasites or major breakage. Though, I do not know if she has any internal damage, my overseers cannot go that far.

I have seen some creatures around her struts and exterior, nothing much out of the ordinary! [AML:872:125] She never particularly enjoyed bioengineering creatures if she didn't have to.

If anything, I'd say it's interesting how few scavengers inhabit her structures! My overseers have identified only 5 individuals! [AML:896:56] The environment around her can make it difficult to support larger populations.

Surprisingly, they seem much more tame than most tribes! They do not attack my overseers!

Well, most of them don't.

I wouldn't be surprised if she has befriended some of them. [AML:896:34] She told me often she wanted to study them!

1. Well I have 3 sisters . 2 older , 1 younger the baby almost 21 and the eldest reaching for 35... Me(25) and the other older (34) have the weirdest dynamic, but I wouldn't change it for the word.

2. Music is big for me. I'm talking if I don't hear at least a little bit everyday I go a bit insane. I've got a list of albums to listen to always.( Also if you guys wanted to send me music to listen to I think I'd fall in love with you ) it's truly the way to my heart 💜

3. I'm 10 years in remission of AML (accute myeloid lukemia) was a hard thing, but the again it's never easy. I was 15 with a funeral plan but I beat my odds . But I lost my boyfriend ( good fucking riddence) and my best friend (my grandmother) all in the same year. Sorry if that's a bit TMI but I'm proud of myself ☺️

yes, I deliberately wrote edwin with some autistic characteristics (and maud with some traits of ADHD, in book 2). it was always a part of how I envisaged their characters.

unlike with the characters' sexualities, I've been reluctant to go around blowing a CANON REPRESENTATION!! trumpet in regards to neurodiversity, because they're never explicitly described as such on page -- both because of the historical setting, and because I wasn't ever sitting down to map them one-to-one onto strict diagnostic criteria. I figured that some people would connect with and identify with those characteristics, and others wouldn't, and I was happy either way!
