The Antisemitic Awareness Act has passed in the US House of Representatives
This bill specifically cites the IHRA definition of antisemitism, which is as such:
Several parts of this specifically stick out, namely comparisons of the actions of the state of Israel to the actions of the Nazis/Holocaust, and the labelling of the state of Israel as a racist endeavor, as well as the idea that some citizens hold more concern for Israel than their own countries.
If this passes the Senate, Joe Biden WILL sign it, and retroactively all of the police brutality inflicted across campuses in the country and every one of us that has spoken out will be labelled criminals as Rafah fucking burns to the ground.
I don't know what to do with this information, I don't know if I'm worrying too much, I hope somehow someone else does know more about this and how we can possibly hope to overcome this, so I'm sharing this, as our others, to hope we can figure this out and how to move forward.

does anyone have reading recommendations that clarify the difference between liberalism and fascism? I’m having trouble distinguishing what is just like normal levels of imperial/colonial violence conducted by a liberal state and what pushes it over the edge into a fascist state. Is fascism simply mature liberalism? Is it liberalism in crisis? Can we only make historical, reactive judgements about what is fascist, which is to say, can we only know if fascism occurred after it has come and gone? I take the general point that calling all liberal states fascist can let them off the hook for types of violence considered normal or “just doing business,” invisibilising the daily violences they conduct as part of the regular maintenance of a liberal capitalist state. People are calling the US fascist for its direct participation in and funding of the genocide in Palestine - a diagnosis I don't disagree with, but if that’s the case, where do you draw the distinction between the US being merely a liberal state with aggressive global imperial ambitions and the US being a fully fascist state? Perhaps more bluntly, what’s the difference between a liberal drone strike and a fascist one? I’m struggling to understand the value of the fascist label, because everything it describes (ultranationalism, a theory of racial and cultural degeneracy/decline, paranoia about an imminent external threat expressed as violence against internal populations deemed to have insufficient loyalty to the country, a turn towards a mythologised tradition of the past, imperial expansion, genocidal projects against minority populations, etc etc) just seems to me like a description of United States in general lol

Please for the love of god you Americans on here better be voting for Biden this election. If we don’t vote Biden, Trump WILL win again, and he WILL be even worse than last time. Somehow he is still popular and oh my god, he is so much worse, he is entirely overt about every horrible thing he wants to and WILL do. 3rd party has never and will never have a chance at winning. Not voting is essentially voting for Trump, and pretty much anything is better than Trump

So if fascism is a dictatorship that is highly militarized and the belief in a social hierarchy
Then the United States has been fascist from the beginning
They wanted George Washington to be king
They wanted a strong military for various of reasons
And they had slavery and eugenics
Washington putting a democracy in place does not take away from the foundation for America was built on fascism
This is why we need a whole new system

It reminds me of why the stop the steal people lost their legal challenges to Biden’s election. It’s not that it’s impossible for right wing people to use legal architecture to halt democratic processes (cf Bush v Gore), it’s that they did it in an openly stupid and nonsensical way. In terms of American fascism I think the lessons they’re learning re: interacting with institutional power is that they can’t use twitter posting tactics in the courtroom

NEW ON SITE: We are revealing the location of a 122-acre white supremacist compound in Tellico Plains, eastern Tennessee. The racist/fascist organization Patriot Front used this land for a training event, and several PF members live there. The land is run by a self-proclaimed "tribe" of racist heathens, led by longtime neo-Nazi Brian Culpepper. Ian Elliott, a PF member and adherent of the "Aryanity" cult, also plays a large role in the "Aryan Tribal Land."
Much more documentation in our article:
Please warn eastern Tennessee friends & contacts!
