Hot Take: The world, especially the United States, coddles religious people, specifically christians. A lot of laws have been passed that really dont pass the whole operation of church and state test. Its dumb that churches dont pay taxes, its dumb that they are exempt from shit, its dumb that they make laws that hurt people because its against their specific religion. it makes me so fucking mad. Its dumb that they have so much power over laws and the country as a whole. the fuck happened to separation of church and state? I think its bullshit that lawmakers are passing laws and making their campaigns all about “christian family values” and outlawing abortion because their religion says abortion is wrong, and i hate it when i get told by people that im going to hell for being gay, and i hate it when assholes say that “transgenderism” needs to be completely eradicated. its bullshit and i hate it.
I dont hate christians. Most of my family is christian. But fuck it hurts so much when a large percentage of the largest group on the planet thinks you are going to burn for eternity in the name of “love”. I dont hate people who believe in some sort of god. It can be comforting to believe that death isnt the end. Go ahead and go to church and pray, do what you want. But i will not sit by and watch a group that says they are about love hurt billions of people.

Israel and The United States are 2 of the biggest wastes of space, pieces of shit, war mongering, decrepit settler colonies that have been or will be. They have let corrupt white people with no sense of love for another take, rape, pillage, and destroy everything in there wake just because of their skin tone. They need to be destroyed. Israel isn’t real. I’m an American but I shouldn’t be. I shouldn’t be born. I’m a black American who doesn’t have any ties to what ever country my distant relatives were pulled from. Palestine has more history than the 200 years the US has been here and the 75 years for Israel. I wake up everyday praying people are spared, have food, water, shelter, anything. This is sick. I hope these countries burn that turned their back on Palestine and I wish I knew about Palestine before now.

I'm just not feeling 4th of July this year... again... Here's why.
can i be honest?… i don't celebrate july 4th, or at least not this year again either. maybe this is just a phase. i don't know much about politics, but i know that human rights are basic rights.
last year it was the entire abortion ban laws / roe vs. wade stuff going on that lead me to go out in the streets on hollywood, crossdressing in all black and baggy clothing ( if i was the man, then i'd be THE MAN ). this year i just came to realize that this said freedom of america wasn't reciprocated for black people which is extremely unfair, and slavery went on for decades. how can you celebrate freedom for america when people of color weren't included? could've sworn it was "all men created equal" but america back then thought not if you're not white
i recall even in 2021 i didn't feel included celebrating 4th of july either. i'm of mexican and ecuadorian descent 2nd gen and my mind sometimes flashes back to the trump era of racism towards my people.
i just needed to get this off my chest, i just keep hearing ppl talking about celebrating and fireworks and this all comes to mind everytime. wow, i should write a song cause that ryhmed-
please don't take offense to my thoughts/ opinion.

So I have a small thing in the works. And by small I mean “over 40,000 words before 1900”. An alternate history, if you will.
Tumblr media
The gist of it is that a species of camelid survives the Ice Age in North America, allowing domestication by the locals and the building of bigger and longer-lasting settlements across the continent. The Norse come along and, amazingly, are assimilated; the Inuit accidentally cause a plague that decimates (in fact removes about a fifth of) the “Old World”; Kuroda Kiyoshi discovers “France (actually *California); Vinlanders discover Spain. It gets more complicated from there, but the gist of it is that the various indigenous civilizations? They’re still around. Better than that, they’re much bigger players, both at home and elsewhere in the world (ask me about U’lpaltiwey sometime).
(And you would not believe how many languages I had to at least discover if not learn for this project.)
Right now I have five potential ideas for a book in this world:
Kingawa: an abbreviated version of the foundation of the Japanese colony in British Columbia.
The Western Worlds: a peek at the development of Earth in this timeline, from 1504 through to 1899.
The Last Crusaders: a story of a Muslim family living in southern Iberia during the last push against the Emir in Málaga—in the 1880s. Also there’s a Lakota medician working with the militarized equivalent of Doctors Without Borders.
Dugan Quirk: short stories about the titular character, starting with his attempt to round the world in 77 days and accidentally setting off a train of catastrophes in the process. I can neither confirm nor deny that there’s a vampire involved.
The Burning War: the First War of the Worlds, taking place in North America, as told in small snippets from all sides.
So! What say you? Preferences?
(EDIT: ignore the misspelling. It should be Kaaruhaar, not Kaahuraar. Either way, the usual English name is Alcazar, but I wasn’t using that.)

okay. new post about KOSA.
it just got sent to the committee of commerce, sciences, and transport (i believe.)
this is SUPER early. you should still call your representatives daily, twice a day, hell even every time you eat. make sure they're swamped.
however, it DOES NOT mean you need to work yourself sick right now.
many senators and even members of the committee have no idea what this bill does or means. go to badinternetbills.com for a list of people to call, as well as a script to say if you'd like one, and go to stopkosa.com as well. they will both have petitions and resources so you can help. also, text "STOPKOSA" (all caps) to 68788.
remember that you also need to focus on the earn it act and restrict act, which are just as bad (if not WORSE!).
for those outside the US, remember to spread this information as much as possible and sign petitions- this may affect you too one day. do your best to educate others about this bill and stop the spread of misinformation as much as possible. remember that this bill is being MARKETED as a way to prevent childhood depression, anxiety, and many other mental illnesses, but it is not. many people that believe it is the former are just misguided.
people in the US, sign the petitions, text "STOPKOSA" to 68788, call your representatives, and most of all, make a huge stink about it. family members that aren't really on the internet? tell them that people on the internet will be hurt by this bill and that they should sign it and call their representatives as well, to push for a resounding no when they vote on it. republican family who's just voting red because they think it's better for the lower classes? tell them that this will not only hurt kids in unsafe homes, but it will also make everyone's internet experience much harder.
remember that we can get this bill blocked if we take action.

Are people who say they hate americans referring to white americans? or our government and those in power?
There is no way these people GENUINELY think that after what Indigenous peoples and African Americans went through by the hands of white Americans in power that we are all for Israel, colonization, and everything bad in the book. I would love to speak to someone non-American about this because it's such a weird idea to me.
It also kills me because most of the time they use tweets from old white Christian Zionists as evidence and excuse to generalize... of course the most privileged Americans are brainwashed, they've never experienced racial or ethnic injustice a day in their life and are not in touch with anything.
It is the most annoying thing ever to see generalizations on 330 MILLION people 💀 it just upsets me as an African American to see people from different countries spreading the idea that most Americans are pro-Israel just because our government is. More than half of us are urging a ceasefire yet Biden himself has now said there is no possibility of one. Our president and politicians suck and are all suffering from dementia due to old age and NEWS BREAK: it's kind of hard to defy the government of the world's most powerful country.
Our government uses our tax dollars involuntarily to uphold another country's free healthcare and free education while we as Americans don't have either. If there is one thing all Americans can agree about it's that that's the most backward thing ever. What makes it even worse is that it seems our government has put all possible precautions in place to keep us from making real change.
Oh you want to boycott Israel? That's illegal in your state, nice try. Oh you want to stop paying taxes so that your hard earned money doesn't fund genocide? That's illegal, you're going to jail and losing your job. When you get out, companies with good pay will be much less likely to hire you so you're kind of fcked for the rest of your life. Nice try! and remember, you have freedom of speech as long as it doesn't hurt us 🥰
The American government cares nothing for its people, the Americans. If the U.S. was able to go to war with its own people, it would. If you came up to me and told me that there's some law out there that permitted our politicians and our very own president to shoot innocent protesting and boycotting Americans in the back of the head as they please, I wouldn't be shocked. It's really not so outlandish and unbelievable because that's just the type of stupidity the U.S. government would allow.
We are just as upset about this as you.
