Jewelry Transmutation: Heretic Anthem possesses the ability to create, shape and manipulate all types of jewelry and gold, shaping and combining them as needed, or moving them with telekinesis, and as well the crystals, gems and metals in them. Its touch can turn any human into any kind of jewelry; or specifically, any part of their body can be turned into jewelry. One hit from Heretic Anthem can break off a chunk of flesh from the enemy's body, where it will be transformed into accessories such as rings, gems, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, amulets, etc. Anything that isn’t human that Heretic Anthem touches will turn instead into coal. The jewelry that is created seems to be real, since Amanda claims that they have monetary value in them that she can trade in for money. Once Amanda has enough jewelry, she can simply cash in the jewelry in any pawn shop for money. However, the amount of jewelry that Amanda can acquire from her target depends on their "worth", in other words, how healthy and intelligent they are. Those are the two main factors that Amanda considers when attacking someone: the more healthy and smart the person is, the most potential monetary value they possess that she can seize. If a person suddenly falls ill or believes that their intelligence has hindered, that affects their monetary value. Both of these factors come hand in hand to Heretic Anthem's ability - a person who is dying or does not possess more than one type of intelligence (e.g. musical, mathematical, artistic, etc.) will have almost no jewelry in them.

This is a redraw of Bunsen Is a Beast's Amanda as Helga Pataki (Amanda's design does remind me of Helga's) from an earlier version back in February 2017! It was also my first drawing of Amanda in any form, and this one is a HUGE improvement from the previous version. My drawing has drastically changed since then -- it was pretty much rusty as I had started to draw regularly again after a years-long hiatus. I also think Amanda could do without her red eyeliner -- I started drawing her without it recently, and she looks much better in my view. What do you think? :)

In honor of National Space Day (May 4), let’s take a look back at the episode “Astro-Nots”! Mikey and Bunsen and their class went on a field trip to MASA, and later Bunsen’s transformation of a “space alien” caught the attention of General Justice! Meanwhile, they again meet Commander Cone, and the three accidentally launched themselves into space; Amanda follows them in a junky space shuttle but hasn’t done much in this episode!
