So, having gotten near the end of Xenoblade 2 recently, and finally getting used to Start instead of X for the menu, I’d just like to say two things that I feel are probably common sentiments. This is also spoilers for a couple characters, so, yeah, just a heads-up on that, especially since it’s more recent than 1.

First: Amalthus is a bitch ass motherfucker and deserved what he got…also his final form being an attempt to be what Rex is at that point gave me some ‘Look what they need to replicate a fraction of our power’ vibes.

Second: Jin absolutely fucking deserved better, like I understand why what happened ended up happening, but still, at the very least I’d have liked for him to be a DLC Blade, though I know he’s apparently available in the prologue DLC.

still fucks me up so badly thinking about how Amalthus technically wasn't wrong about how he was acting out divine will.......

like imagine being deeply religious, losing hope in everything because of what happened to you and the things you've witnessed and then turning towards your religion to find explanations for why things are the way they are and find any amount of hope again, literally going as far as meeting God because you so desperately want to know and then you find out he's just as despaired as you are and he has no answers. I think that would break something deep within me too
