gwen and trent probably hang out the most from the original cast (minus anyone living together or dating). gwen has her own room in her parent's house dedicated to painting and trent will chill there on a bean bag in the corner writing music while she paints. now that she and courtney are dating, courtney visits way more to study in that chair while gwen works (they take breaks to make out and cuddle very often) gwen's little brother thinks trent is a huge loser and wishes duncan would hang out around the house more instead (courtney bullies him on trent's behalf)

cody lives in a dorm room on campus at his college. sierra goes to the same college but still lives with her mom (she has an hour long commute) she and cody hang out on campus and hang out in a lot of the same clubs and friend groups (mostly nerdy stuff)

harold is a speedrunning streamer and video editor for popular youtube channels. they make music for fun but wants to make professional music for indie games one day.

leshawna really loves to do community service (canon in the show) but i like to think she somehow managed to drag duncan into it too (his parole officer approves) so they get really close through that. he also ends up being dragged to a bunch of family events and parties with leshawna. like an honorary brother who acts like he doesnt want to be there but is super good with all the kids and is never actually disrespectful to the adults. leshawna's parents adore him. he's never been more well fed in his life.

zoe mike and cameron are all living their best lives with the all stars money zoe/mike earned. mike and cameron live together but zoe lives in an apartment with 5 roommates near her community college. they live within 10 minutes of bus so distance isn't an issue at all. they're practically inseparable.

scott and courtney are actually pretty good friends still (they never dated in all stars in this fic) and text regularly. scott moved back home after the show so he's not really near anyone else from the casts, but that's more of a blessing than anything considering the wacky hijinks everyone gets into on the regular.

i think ezekiel lindsay beth and tyler probably hang out a lot when lindsay and tyler aren't traveling around the world to fashion shows and whatnot. zeke got super into thrifting fashion because of lindsay. he's like. bowling alley employee fashion. you know. and although he's not really good at sports, tyler still likes to have "boys nights" and take him to games. they have a tradition of buying and rating the hot dogs at every stadium they visit, and buying souvenirs for lindsay.

alejandro really wants a lizard tattoo but he's very sensitive to pain and would definitely cry, so he's avoided getting one until he can find a tattoo artist who won't judge him for sobbing in the chair. he learned his lesson the hard way when he got his nose piercing and nearly broke carlos's hand because he was so scared (it didn't really hurt that bad, but nerves make everything worse).

josé has a quarter collection (like, the united states quarters, because there's a different one for every state). it's a good excuse to travel and get out of the house (or country) for a weekend retreat.

okay that's pretty much all i have in me right now (i have a meeting to go to at work) but if you want to hear anything for a specific character or headcanon, i would LOVE to share my thoughts!!!!

"Knox? You ok buddy?" He asked and Knox shook his head as he looked up at his father.

"I miss Mommy," he sniffled, his eyes shining with tears. Spencer had been in London for 5 days already, working on her latest clothing line.

"Oh, I know," Lennox sighed.

"When is she coming home?"

"Not for 7 more days," Lennox replied, cringing when Knox immediately burst out into tears.

"I want Mommy!"

"I know, she's been gone for so long, yeah?" Lennox said, reaching out and running his hand over his son's head. "I miss Mommy too."

"You do?"

"I do, and I know that she misses us too," he nodded. "Here, how about we send Mommy a picture to make her feel better?"

"Yes," Knox agreed with a small smile and Lennox took the win. Grabbing his phone, he went to his camera and held it up.

"Say cheese kiddos," Lennox called, chuckling when they all smiled brightly; Knox's matching Spencer's boxy smile and Sierra and Sienna having Lennox's wide one. After getting a few good ones, Lennox instantly sent them off to his wife before setting his phone aside again.

"Here, if you guys take a bath fast enough, we might be able to catch Mommy when she's having lunch," Lennox said.

"Wash, Daddy!" Sienna demanded. "Wash!"

"Ok baby," Lennox smiled to himself as he proceeded to bath his children.

How I feel about this character:

Might possibly be my fav dmbj dumbass. who knows. certainly not me. i just- LOVE HIM?? SO MUCH???? He sucker-punched me from the very beginning with his TEARS and his DESPERATION and his ACCUSATIONS OF KIDNAPPING. and ok he’s also a Dumb Teenage Boy and ok maybe he tries Too Hard to be a Normal Dumb Teenage Boy, like he’s going through the motions and maybe I relate a little ok idk.

And I just- adore that so much of Sha Hai is through his perspective?? Because it is very much Li Cu’s story. He’s an outsider here diving into a world we already know so well and Wu Xie is the catalyst. And really- it’s about seeing a character whom we all adore (Wu Xie) who is Hurting and Desperate and Raw (bc Xiao Ge), and he’s doing his best to fulfill a HUGE storyline but maybe he catches Feelings along the way. Maybe he adopts a son who is also Hurting but for very different reasons. And maybe it’s about seeing these two people who are lost and alone find each other in this chaos, see the good in each other, and help them find the good in themselves.

I already screamed about Li Cu’s character at you last night because I just- have So Many Feelings about him. But I think the core of Li Cu’s character really resonates with me?

It’s all about him finding a reason to live and a reason to love himself and a reason to care about himself. And it’s all about him letting others love and care about him, too.

Li Cu’s been told his whole life that he isn’t worth the air he breathes and he isn’t worth the trouble he causes. He isn’t worthy of love or sacrifice or kindness. And so much about Sha Hai is Li Cu realizing that he is. 

As you pointed out so beautifully, Sierra, Wu Xie is in such an awful place, and yet he still helps Li Cu realize his worth. And, re our conversations about how Li Cu views Pingxie, Wu Xie helps Li Cu realize that that love that can a beautiful, kind thing. Painful sometimes, and so fucking hard. But it’s worth it, if you want it.

And honestly, I think a lot of the Tiger Trio is about this, too: finding a reason to live, getting out of the motions of pretending to be a Normal Teenage Boy, finding a reason to love yourself and realizing it’s okay to let others love and care and fight for you, too. 

They’re already friends, but Sha Hai truly brings them together. Makes them realize they are worth it and there is someone who cares about them and will fight for them and will follow them to the fucking ends of the earth. 

It’s about finding FAMILY and I fucking LOVE THAT for them!!!!

it's not really my genre :S im going to name off the westerns ive seen and one of them will hit i promise

keoma, mccabe and mrs. miller might melt your brain if you've never seen a robert altman movie and it's lowkey more of a period piece set in the old west than a true western but i like it a lot. OH MY G-D NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN if you haven't seen it already please watch no country for old men. the searchers is fun but only if you go into it knowing that it's a joke and you have an ndn in the room who can laugh at it with you. i have a friend who's evangelical about death rides a horse but i've never seen it. bacurau. of the classics (the westerns my grandpa would put on to fall asleep to) treasure of the sierra madre and high noon hold up really well. also i prefer the sting personally but redford and newman in butch cassidy and the sundance kid are an adorable couple. damn it did i forget about buster scruggs until just now, ballad of buster scruggs is really good despite being an anthology film. do not bother with stagecoach if your heart is set on watching a john wayne one and the searchers is off-putting then the man who shot liberty valance is brilliant and i really wish i could do a jimmy stewart impression it seems like it should be easier. oh my g-d and um. nobody else seems to remember this film because it came out the same year as no country for old men and got overshadowed by it hard but there's a lot of really really interesting character work in the assassination of jesse james by the coward robert ford

he likes it when he meditates and you do your yoga, smiling at the memory where you told him that are pretty much the same things. it helps you relax and get focused for the day ahead, same is for him, right?

and he tells you you're not exactly wrong, and he spent the entire afternoon talking to you about meditation and the force, with you on his lap, and using the force to explain certain things from time to time.

and his favorite times are when you're taking a bath, your head on his shoulder and he's reading with you, cheek on your head and there's this cheesy quote that makes him hum.

"what is it?" you ask. and he shakes his head, pressing a light kiss on your temple before leaning back on the tub. eyes closed for a second.

"obi..." your voice is gentle, a plead hides behind it, and he opens one eye to look at you before closing it again.

"I cannot fix on the hour, or the spot, or the look or the words, which laid the foundation. It is too long ago. I was in the middle before I knew that I had begun." he quotes, the same line you had been reading less than a minute ago, and you're not surprised he memorized it.

and it's against his belief, against what he's been taught, but he loves you, he truly does. and maybe the force pulled its strings for him to find a soulmate in you.

"hm." you hum, contemplating. "what about it?" but you know what is about it. but you want him to say it too. he looks at you.

"I cannot pinpoint the exact moment I fell for you, either." he says, as if he were talking about some experiment, a doubtfulness in his words that pierce into his eyes and straight into your eyes. and your heart is beating wild in your chest because he has never said anything about falling for you nor loving you but he's just saying it and you feel like about to burst. "it's a bit sad, isn't it?"

"what matters is that you did."

there's a silence, and he smiles lazily at you and nods once.

"I suppose you're right."

and you think that's it. but it isn't, and the words ring loud in your ears when he pronounce them, it's something that you'll be keeping with you when he's away and even more when he's around.

and you cup his cheek, his beard tickling the soft skin and you kiss him softly.

i think a temperate rainforest is my very favourite, especially a redwood forest. but the sorta thin pine forest you get way up in the sierras is also wonderful, i adore a woods of any kind really. a good like northern pacific style beach is excellent too like big ol sandstone cliffs and those super twisted up by the wind pin trees and a sky thats never not overcast just fuckign delicious. suburbs become wonderful places to ramble and adventure sometime starting around 11 or 12 pm also if that counts. this is a very northern californian answer huh dfgkjhfdskjh
