okay basically I follow this girl who's pretty nice, she sends asks during ask games and interacts w me and stuff but she selfreblogs a lot and also sometimes reblogs chain posts and I want to unfollow her but I dont want to be mean either bc we've interacted and shes always been nice

hmmmm ugh that’s a tough situation... ultimately your dash should look the way you want it to because this is your tumblr experience, but i understand why it’s difficult to just unfollow her. maybe you could talk to her and try asking her to tag her self reblogs/chain posts (like tag them as ‘long post’) so that you can blacklist those tags? and just say that like, you want to see more diverse content on your dash... i know it’s tough but asjdfklsdf that’s the best middle ground i can think fo

hi anon! i agree, it’s a lot of joy and happiness when she sees your face. once again, self reblogging is ok when it’s a few times over a period of time. what i don’t agree with, is spam self reblogging. that floods everybody’s feeds, and it’s especially terrible when self reblogging is the only thing on your blog. if you reblog yourself a little, reblog other swifties, and make other posts, don’t worry! you’re fine! it’s okay! we aren’t mad at that, i just get mad when i see constant spam self rebloggers getting likes from taylor when it is the one and only thing on their feed. i hope this makes sense.
