More rosquez a/b/o au thoughts because I haven’t mentioned Alex in this au yet and I love him
It takes Alex a few months to finally agree to visit Marc at the ranch.
He’s still not sold on the idea of being in Tavullia, much less in Vale’s presence, but he has adjusted to the reality at this point that his big brother is, in fact, permanently mated to the skinny Italian.
Alex is happy for him. He really is. He’s happy that his brother is no longer suffering. Every time they FaceTime (daily) Marc is shining with happiness and contentment. Alex knows that is all due to Vale and his pack.
Still. Alex hasn’t totally gotten over how much he wanted to kill Vale. Vale may have fixed things, but he’s responsible for the amount of suffering Marc endured. He was the cause, and solving that problem doesn’t erase that he caused it.
When he gets to the ranch and sees his brother, he’s put at ease. Marc is just so fucking happy that it completely (for the time being) erases Alex’s reservations. Marc bounces up to him, already babbling about the pack and the bikes and Vale.
Alex wraps his arms around his brother, and Marc squeezes him around the waist and tucks his face against his neck. They stand there like that for a long moment, breathing each other in.
They’ve talked so frequently, but there’s something entirely different about being able to see and hold and smell each other. Alex knows his brother as well as he knows himself and he can tell that he’s truly happy. He takes a deep breath and relaxes.
Marc gives him a whirlwind tour of everything, and awkwardly reintroduces him to some of the pack members.
Alex hasn’t seen Luca since yelling at him in the paddock during Marc’s bite crisis, and Luca seems almost as if he’s trying too hard to welcome him. Alex takes pity on him and greets him happily.
Pecco and Franky take polite interest in him, and Celestino treats him as if they are already friends; he has boundless enthusiasm for Alex being able to visit Marc, and he tells Alex so. Bezz is less enthusiastic to see him, but Alex assumes it’s probably out of a sense of protectiveness for Vale and not necessarily because of any hard feelings he has toward Alex.
They all have lunch together, Alex sharing a bench with Marc and, surprisingly, Bezz. Vale still hasn’t joined them, and Alex wonders if that’s intentional.
He’s not exactly excited to see Vale again. No matter how happy his pack has made Marc, Alex hasn’t forgiven him.
When they finally run into each other, it’s outdoors after lunch. Everyone is tired and sluggish from the heat, and lazing around in the shade.
Marc and Alex are sharing a lounger, and Vale approaches them tentatively. Alex watches as Marc positively lights up, tilting his face toward Valentino for a quick kiss.
Marc is as in love with Vale as he has always been, but what surprises Alex is how in love Valentino is with Marc. Alex briefly wonders how Valentino gets anything done with the way he watches Marc. He stares lovingly at him, smiling and laughing and entirely focused on him.
Alex isn’t sure what he was expecting, but he’s happy and relieved to see how well taken care of his brother is.

Each time I encounter shitty men online who spare no moment to shame women for their clothing, career, life choices and heck even their favourite celeb/music artists/hobbies:
I take a deep breath and remember all the wonderful men back in the old times who still adored their wives and daughters. I remember my father, some male relatives and my male friends who are a gem to be around who look out for their female friends, would ask us if we feel safe in the cab, male relatives who genuinely want the women in their house to succeed and excel in their lives. I remember my brothers who are gentle to the women around them, who try to understand our words and feelings. My heart warms when I see young boyfriends genuinely trying to understand a woman's heart to love her well and not to win her for a show. I remember those old poets from the bygone era who wrote that their wife is their best friend. I see men who have seen their mother struggling and promise themselves to make their future spouse's life easier and filled with comfort and happiness instead of glorifying their mother's struggles. I see my father who comes home from office and rests for a while and then straightaway goes to the kitchen to spend time with my mother as they cook dinner. I see little boys who love their sisters and grow up to be wonderful men knowing how to love a woman. I see old men still in love with their wives and looking at them the way they probably did when they saw her for the first time. I have seen some men who see the women around them as an individual, who possesses a heart, who has her own unique strength, who has her hobbies and different interests who is just as knowledgeable and capable.
I remember these men and I breathe out knowing there will always be good men in existence.
