Several humans from a larger nearby polity, learning of the city of Middenden, try to go and subjugate it. It's filled with "filthy monsters" after all and "devils". Their heavily armed soldiers, and their leaders, quickly learn these beings are not weak, and are tired of being treated like this, they deserve respect too, damnit!

The real problem with People of Import is that they have a great influence on everyone who knows them. Lies Hashu could be very vocal, as all the citizens of Middenden well knew. She bullied her way into the attention of Duke Urbicandol Koyunlyr, who had an impressive army and a low tolerance for self-important trumpeting.
Those uppity types had to be controlled. Taught their place. Otherwise, they'd all get ideas. Think they could govern themselves. And then they'd get stronger than they deserved to be, and spread corruption and deprivation all over the known world.
She didn't even need a third chorus of, "Think of the children!"

Orgoloth had been traveling for almost two years with hir adopted child, Titinwee. Searching for any news of a dragon who'd lost their egg. Finally news comes, and the reunion is, at first tense, but with a lot of gratitude on both half of draconic family, and Orgoloth.

Merchants, by and large, are all about growth and change. In the case of one merchant, that growth and change is heralded by their adopted child. Which was a baby Dragon called Titinwee. In two years, they had grown from an armful of squirming curiosity and relatively helpless need, to a creature roughly the size of a retriever, that was very clearly a Dragon.
Titinwee was definitely going to get bigger.
Orgoloth, their Drow parental, had invested in a cart. Carrying Titinwee was becoming less and less of a desirable outcome of sore feet. And it helped immensely with business. They chatted about this or that between one place or another, and all was peaceful and happy. After all, it's amazing how often highway robbers decide to let a wagon with a Dragon pass peacefully by.

Aventura 43 - O Grande Baile e a Dríade
Vajra, o Cajado Negro de Waterdeep, dá uma missão da Força Cinza para Alysaaria e Caolho: Há fortes indícios de que drows de uma facção criminosa misteriosa chamada Bregan D'Aerthe, liderada por uma elfo negro chamado Jarlaxle está se infiltrando na cidade de Waterdeep. Uma festa importante para alta sociedade está para acontecer na Vila de Lady Ramalia e a Força Cinza tem razão para acreditar que os drows vão se infiltrar nessa festa, já que é ela será um ponto crítico para articulações políticas de vários jogadores importantes do cenário político da cidade dos esplendores.
A maga quer que os aventureiros descubram e desmascarem os drows disfarçados antes que eles possam aumentar ainda mais sua influência.
Antes que Eles possam partir, Landara, a dríade da ilha voadora se manifesta diante de Caolho e Alysaaria. Sabendo que eles vão comparecer a esse grande baile, ela pede que eles procurem uma mulher chamada Ziria. Ela conta que essa mulher é na verdade uma dríade como ela e sua amiga. Um dia, Ziria repentinamente se casou com um velho chamado Mavras e nunca mais falou com ela. Até mesmo sua árvore que costumava ficar no parque da cidade foi arrancada e transplantada para algum outro lugar.
Mavras é conhecido por ser fazer aparições em eventos importantes onde exibe Ziria como um troféu. Landara pede que eles investiguem esse velho e descubram o que aconteceu com sua amiga.
Como a festa requer que cada convidado leve um par de dança para o baile, Alysaaria convida Ranaer para seu seu par enquanto a fada Mirabel insiste em ser o par de Caolho. Com ajuda da magia de Alysaaria a pequena pixie consegue aumentar de tamanho e se transforma numa bela mulher. Juntos eles chegam no baile com não uma mas duas missões.
A Vila de Lady Ramalia é localizada no nobre distrito do mar. Depois de subir uma grande escadaria forrada de tapete vermelho, os aventureiros e seus pares se encontram num grande e suntuoso salão, com o chão de mármore escuro e polido, grandes colunas e estandartes de seda pendurados nas paredes. Comida refinada e servida aos convidados que se vestem de maneira impecável, todos exibindo a última moda de Waterdeep. Caolho se sente desconfortável nesse ambiente - o bárbaro sempre se sentiu mais à vontade ao seu aberto e vestindo ou sua armadura ou o mínimo de roupa possível. Mirabel por outro lado está radiante.
Um dos convidados chega com grande pompa e circunstância. Eduardo L'Avarne, um ator humano misterioso vindo de Sembia. Supostamente uma grande celebridade no local. Ele veste um belo chapéu púrpura e dourado com uma pluma vermelha. Logo todos estão no salão dançando ao som de uma orquestra.
Eduardo logo consegue roubar o show. Seus movimentos são graciosos e precisos. Todos os olhos parecem se dirigir à ele. Desconfiado Caolho usa seu anel de telecinese para fazê-lo tropeçar, mas até em seu desequilíbrio Eduardo demonstra grande destreza e cai com leveza e desenvoltura.
Depois do baile Eduardo atraí um grupo de pessoas, todas muito influentes, segundo Ranaer. O ator parece estar firmando acordos enquanto confraterniza com os nobres da cidade. Desconfiado, Caolho usa mais uma vez seu anel de telecinese, desse vez para tirar o chapéu de Eduardo. Seu plano funciona. Sem o chapéu Eduardo se transforma na sua forma verdadeira, a de um elegante elfo negro de tapa-olho. Os convidados mal podem acreditar nos seu olhos.
”Ele é um impostor!”, diz um deles. ”Nosso acordo está anulado imediatamente!", vocifera outro.
Sem perder a compostura, Jarlaxle faz um aceno para Caolho tocando a ponta do seu chapéu e depois de uma mesura exagerada, sai do salão com um sorriso no canto da boca.
Com uma das missões cumpridas, Alysaaria e Caolho passam a procurar Mavras, que não se mostra difícil de ser encontrado. O velho careca e de barba branca chama muito atenção por estar acompanhado de uma mulher estonteante de semblantes élficos que ele trata com rispidez, como se ela fosse sua escrava. Mavras não tem interesse em conversar com os aventureiros, mas quando ele ordena que a Ziria pegue mais bebida para ele, Caolho aproveita pra trocar palavras com ela e nota que seu olhar é vazio e sua voz sem emoção. O bárbaro também percebe que ela usa uma gargantilha dourada no pescoço com uma grande esmeralda que parece brilhar tenuemente.
Depois de descobrir o endereço do velho, que aparentemente possuí uma loja que vende componentes mágicos, os aventureiros resolvem deixar a festa e lidar com Mavras em uma outra ocasião mais apropriada. Mas a noite não acaba tão cedo pros aventureiros. No dia seguinte Alysaaria acorda nos seus aposentos ao lado de Ranaer enquanto Caolho acorda com Mirabel, de volta ao seu tamanho diminuto, dormindo em seu peito.
Resolvidos a cumprir sua segunda missão, Caolho e Alysaaria visitam a loja de Mavras onde confrontam o velho que os recebe com hostilidade, se apoiando num longo cajado negro em cuja ponta estão esculpidas cabeças reptilianas. Quando Caolho ataca o velho ele se torna invisível e foge por círculo de teletransporte, mas a dupla de aventureiros consegue seguir em seu encalço se encontrando repentinamente num pântano tenebroso. Uma grande árvore, quase morta e sem folhas se ergue diante deles e Ziria está acorrentada junto ao tronco.
Mavras atira seu cajado na água pantanosa e para grande supresa do bárbaro e da maga, ele se transforma numa criatura imensa. Uma aberração escamosa e lodosa com cinco cabeças. Uma Hidra negra.
A luta é aterrorizante. Cada cabeça que Caolho corta com sua longa espada de duas mãos logo se regenera em não apenas uma mas duas novas cabeças. Enquanto isso, Mavras, invisível anula todas as magias da elfa negra. Mas por fim, a dupla consegue virar a mesa, quando Caolho, em estado crítico, é capaz de acabar com a Hidra. Depois disso Alysaaria consegue usar um feitiço de sono para neutralizar o poderoso Mavras, que logo é preso por cordas e amordaçado pela dupla de aventureiros.
Depois de entregá-lo as autoridades e de retirar o colar amaldiçoado de Ziria com a ajuda de Alfarel no templo de Glor, Caolho e Alysaaria recebem a recompensa de Vajra e e a gratidão da Dríade, que confere a eles uma raríssima flor que ao ser ingerida confere a cada deles um um presente da natureza.

Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta Selatan, setelah:
A. Memperhatikan
1. Hasil Tes Seleksi Masuk TMI Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta Tahun Pelajaran
2020/2021.
2. Nilai Tes Al-Qur`an, Imla, Pengetahuan Agama dan Umum, Matematika, Wawancara, Bahasa
Arab dan Inggris (lisan dan tulis).
3. Hasil musyawarah tim penguji seleksi masuk TMI Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Tahun
Pelajaran 2020/2021.
B. Menimbang
1. Bahwa untuk hal tersebut perlu segera mengeluarkan keputusan.
C. Memutuskan
Menetapkan
1. Hasil Tes Seleksi Gelombang Pertama masuk TMI Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta
Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021.
2. Kelulusan dibagi menjadi empat kriteria; Lulus Murni, Lulus Bersyarat, Lulus di Darunnajah
Cabang dan Tidak Lulus.
3. Peserta tes yang dinyatakan Lulus Bersyarat diwajibkan untuk mengikuti Bimbingan Belajar
selama 5 (lima) atau 10 (sepuluh) bulan berturut-turut.
Keputusan ini tidak dapat diganggu gugat.

Keterangan Penting Harap dibaca! :
1. Bagi orang tua/wali peserta tes yang Lulus Murni/Lulus Bersyarat bisa langsung melakukan
pembayaran di ATM atau fasilitas Internet Banking yang terhubung dengan jaringan ATM
Bersama, Prima, atau ALTO, paling lambat 7 hari setelah pengumuman kelulusan,
dikarenakan tempat terbatas.
2. Pembayaran tidak dapat dilakukan melalui BCA Internet Banking.
3. Transfer hanya dapat dilakukan dengan Real time Transfer tidak dapat di proses dengan LLG
(Lalu Lintas Giro) dan RTGS (Real-Time Gross Settlement).
4. Pembayaran hanya dapat dilakukan dengan Kode Pembayaran / Virtual Account Dana
Bulan Pertama Santri Baru. silahkan login menggunakan akun pendaftaran ke situs
santri.darunnajah.com untuk melihat kode pembayaran dan nominal pembayaran.
5. Untuk pembayaran dana bulan pertama, Yayasan Darunnajah hanya menggunakan Kode
Pembayaran / Virtual Account Bank Muamalat Indonesia (enam digit pertama : 836620) dan
tidak membuka Virtual Account pembayaran melalui bank lain.
6. Batas waktu pembayaran Biaya Santri Baru yang telah ditentukan, yaitu selama tujuh hari
kerja setelah pengumuman kelulusan. (30 Desember 2019 s.d. 7 Januari 2020).
7. Pelunasan Pembayaran Biaya Santri Baru 2020/2021 adalah syarat untuk mendapatkan
kamar Santri Baru Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021.
8. Program Bimbingan Belajar bagi peserta tes yang Lulus Bersyarat terhitung sejak dimulainya
sekolah sampai 5 (lima) atau 10 (sepuluh) bulan ke depan dengan Materi Membaca Al-Qur`an
dan Imla` (Tulis Arab).
9. Setelah melakukan pembayaran agar konfirmasi ke panitia penerimaan santri baru, untuk
pemilihan kamar santri baru tahun ajaran 2020/2021.

Challenge #04113-K095: Truce With Benefits
They were the leader of an enormous pack of kobolds. All of them had found a gold vein. All of their burrows were very well defended. The humans seemed to treat them politely enough to their faces, because they had gold, but also talked hatefully behind their backs due to being kobolds. Then, when potentially deadly dangers arose, the humans realize it's not the gold that's the true value of having a kobold's friendship. -- Anon Guest
Kobolds, Gobelliin, and occasionally Gnomes are often viewed as pests. They get everywhere, or they keep turning up. They have a knack for being in placed where other beings are unlikely to go. They exist, more or less, in the cracks where civilisation often doesn't look.
Haddercleft had excellent territory for goats, but shit for anything else. They eked out an existence from people passing through their mountains, and was generally another little place where heroes came from. Until someone put their foot in the wrong place and discovered the Kobold burrow.
Some might say they made the mistake of giving the cluster of Kobolds some of their cheese. Or... they would have at the time. Kindness to the Unwelcome is generally repaid by the kind of undying loyalty that becomes socially inconvenient.

Challenge #04042-K024: What's on Offer
As the crowd gathered, one very wealthy - looking one ran forward, grabbed the hellkin swiftly and slapped him on the back of the head. "Dammmit Skip, I told you not to go out without me, you're supposed to carry my medicines!"
A whisper in the ear soon followed of... "follow me, my friend, I'll get you safely out of here, just play along."
Then to the crowd the wealthy one shouted coldly. "Don't worry, you won't see my servant without escort again." -- Anon Guest
The blow didn't even connect. The rich one must have used some minor spellwork to create the sound of the slap. That, more than anything, convinced Esmorzar that this plush person. Might just be on her side. Besides, one against one gave her better odds than one against a mob.
So Esmorzar bowed and scraped and answered to 'Skip' and m'lady'd her saviour. All the way to a surprisingly staid hostel with humble decor and staff who had apparently seen everything. Or were paid not to make a fuss at a dirty Hellkin wandering their halls. The plush lady lead Esmorzar to a plain room that was still miles better than any hole that she had sheltered in.
Her ladyship's first question was not, "Who are you?" nor, "What are you doing in this town?" but, "Have you eaten today?"

King Kosh was apparently a tight-fisted monarch. Not spending very much on appearances, pomp, nor circumstance. The Princess Optimism Caibanise Ayoka Whitekeep arrived on horseback, in travelling leathers, and had an Elven 'grass' blade at her hip for defence. Her staff were similarly equipped.
Only her papers and her heraldric ring verified her identity. She carried herself with the confidence of someone who knew how to hold her own in a fight. A fact soon proven true by the first of many would-be assassins sent after Ozarkas.
Her father was a Master of the Art of Shadows, and had taught all his children very well.

Challenge #04113-K095: Truce With Benefits
They were the leader of an enormous pack of kobolds. All of them had found a gold vein. All of their burrows were very well defended. The humans seemed to treat them politely enough to their faces, because they had gold, but also talked hatefully behind their backs due to being kobolds. Then, when potentially deadly dangers arose, the humans realize it's not the gold that's the true value of having a kobold's friendship. -- Anon Guest
Kobolds, Gobelliin, and occasionally Gnomes are often viewed as pests. They get everywhere, or they keep turning up. They have a knack for being in placed where other beings are unlikely to go. They exist, more or less, in the cracks where civilisation often doesn't look.
Haddercleft had excellent territory for goats, but shit for anything else. They eked out an existence from people passing through their mountains, and was generally another little place where heroes came from. Until someone put their foot in the wrong place and discovered the Kobold burrow.
Some might say they made the mistake of giving the cluster of Kobolds some of their cheese. Or... they would have at the time. Kindness to the Unwelcome is generally repaid by the kind of undying loyalty that becomes socially inconvenient.

Isolated villages in the middle of nowhere are places to come from. Adventurers come from tiny flyspecks on the map with names like Bendihollow, North Haverbrook, and, especially, Gleaminvale. The ones from Gleaminvale often have a surprising grasp of the Draconic languages[1].
They also don't understand the concept of Unwelcome People until it's patiently explained to them. Mostly because everyone in Gleaminvale is Unwelcome in one way or another.
They might understand at a tangential level, but they never participate. Heroes like that leave Gleaminvale. They rarely return.

They called the traveling Hellkin, "teuf'al", and the kobald a col'by. They were not trying to be rude, but, sadly, illness had made speech slushy. So while it sounded like insult slurs, it was, in fact, an unfortunate speech impediment. They hoped people would understand. -- Anon Guest

In a world where certain people are unwelcome, it's natural that they find a way to live while moving. Travelling attractions often have clusters of them. Merchants often have one or two, strictly for curiosity's sake.
These two were travelling apothecaries, selling potions, simples, and remedies on request. Most of their wagon was ingredient storage. One side advertised that it possessed the world's smallest Dragon. That was a Kobold who happened to have wings. The one driving the cart was not instantly recognisable as a Hellkin until an observer got closer to him.
"Pofficary," said the farmer they were passing. They limped noticably as they hurried towards their post fence. "Pofficary... need s'm help. No coin... but I got... schtuff."

Briar very rarely used her full name. It took up too much time and the people of U'ah had a long tradition of an 'urgency' eke name. "Baroness Henriette Bri'arillain Kalamitee U'ah, get down!" would certainly get her killed, but, "Briar, duck!" had saved her skin more often than not. She was one of the very few who were permitted to have a sword ready during the Baronial Meet, and under the eyes of her lord, the Earl Whitekeep.
The other with that privilege was her wife.
She had watched Earl Valiant from his rise to the power of the Blood Throne, through to his nigh-despotic end. During those decades, she was reminded again and again of her father's wise words: "Snow falls fast on the crown that cares."

As immortal as the "Living God" known as Wraithvine, he had lost his name due to his selfishness. Learning to be kind and giving, he gained a new name after a long time of lessons, and now taught as he was taught, the lessons of warmth, and using his magic to comfort and aid those in need. And, of course, was always grateful in the times his mentor visited to check up on him.

Years had passed, as years are wont to do. Those who recognised Nobody as a Destroyer grew fewer and further between. They grew older. And, despite everything Nobody tried to do, they died.
Nobody wandered several lands over that time. Going from places of plenty to places in need. Doing whatever he could for whomever needed it. They walked in, bent double under the weight of rations and all-weather clothing and useful tools. Once arrived, he worked every waking hour until the people there could be their own force for change. He often walked away with little more than the clothes on his back.
His wandering feet took him to a realm of plenty once more. Where the people took one look at him and gave him food and welcome. Where it was a matter of law that none went hungry nor without shelter.

Challenge #04064-K046: Health and Safety Inspection
This blacksmith's shop is renowned not only for its skilled craftsmen, but also for how well their forges are fired. It doesn't hurt that two of the master smiths are humans in dragon form, and the third who owns the shop is a dragon who doesn't like shifting, but has no problem sharing their flame. -- Anon Guest
[AN: I think OP meant "Dragons in Human form" so I shall be running with that idea]
They call the place Featherforge, because these red mountains are where they smelt feathermetal. The smiths who work with it blend it with other metals with the help of Dragon fire.
There's also a kiln built in a specific way that some call a Dragon's Belly, but this place uses real dragons. For the foundry and the forge.
The best forge was enormous, primarily because of the Dragon who also lived there. Each forge had a space large enough for a Dragon head, and special stones to retain heat. No coal is necessary, just baskets and baskets of sea shells, or crates of limestone schist. Shipped in from wherever can get it cheaply.
