#RealTalk / #SundayThoughts ♡☆♡☆♡☆ Blessings beautiful gals and handsome guys! It's a gorgeous Sunday afternoon here in Texas. I had a great time in church and got to see a sweet volunteer friend that I hadn't seen in over year, who now has a new hubby and a baby girl!! That was encouraging for this single momma who is praying to get married and have more kiddos in the future. 😍 ▪ Y'all, I want to talk about a saying that I learned from a sista on a tv show some years back. When she was mistreated by a friend and that friend refused to apologize to her or refused to see her value in their lives, she held her head high and stated: "Keep it moving. On to the next." I didn't even watch the show regularly, but I never forgot that saying. 👌 ▪ Today, I was mistreated and disrespected by someone that I care about. It was a public rejection and it truly hurt my feelings. Now I could sit here and continue to play the scene in my head and question my worth, or I can toss it to Jesus and move on with my day. ✌ ▪ Rejection is one of the issues that I struggle with, due to my past. It is something that I am working on with my christian counselor in therapy. So when things like this come up, I see it as an opportunity for God to teach me a lesson on Self Love. ▪ So baby, right now I am enjoying this gorgeous weather (in the 70s, ya'l!😍), about to work #UberEatsInTheseStreets, and going to enjoy the rest of the day. 🙌 ▪ Romans 12:9 is exactly what we should do when people, places or things let us down. Cling to what is GOOD & let everything else fall to the wayside. God is our source, our Vindicator, are Abba Father, and the one who takes all of our burdens away.🙏 ▪ Instead of getting upset over the frustrations of the day, rejoice when you're given the opportunity to operate in Faith as opposed to Fear or your flesh. My mom has a saying: "One monkey don't stop mo show." So keep ya head up, shine bright like the diamond that you are and don't let anything dull your SHINE.
