2020 - New York - 02:40 am
Duff walked through the dark streets of the city, the cold wind hitting his face as his feet touched the floor with an almost inaudible sound. He had just closed his bar, leaving a ton of glasses and utensils to be cleaned the next day.
It was autumn, and he took the opportunity to go walking towards the bar, ironically called Bloodletting, which now meant he’d have to walk back home, or more precisely, Izzy’s home. He didn’t mind walking though, being a vampire had its advantages, and not getting tired was one of them.
He stopped abruptly when a familiar smell got his nostrils, vampire smell, or more specifically, the lack of any smell accompanied by the slowly fading away human scent, mixed with a small hint of embalmed corpse.
His head snapped towards the smell, curiosity taking a hold of him. It was someone new, he knew it because he was familiar with the scent of every vampire who lived in the city.
Over the years he learned how to identify each one of them based on the smell of things that constantly stayed around them. Like the smell of Slash’s snake, or the smell of cigarettes in Izzy’s clothes. And he was sure, this vampire, whoever it was, was someone new.
Turning left he walked down a couple of streets until he found a dark alley, the smell of blood was strong and fresh, and coming closer, his eyes adjusted to the light, allowing him to see you on top of a man, his body laying on the ground.
Focusing on his hearing Duff realized that the man was still alive, and judging by the expensive clock on his wrist, he knew that you had made a huge mistake in choosing your prey.
“That wasn’t very smart of you.” He said, entering the alley.
You turned towards him and he realized that you were around his age. Your hair was all messed up and you were wearing party clothes. There was blood dripping from your lips and your pupils were dilated.
You ran towards Duff, pushing him against the wall, your mouth moving towards his neck as you got on your tiptoes. But Duff was older, which allowed him to be stronger than you. One of his hands grabbed your neck, pulling you away from him and inverting your positions, making you hit your back hard against the wall.
“Yep, you’re definitely not smart!”
Your eyes widened in shock.
“I’m gonna let you go, ok?” He said after a few seconds.
You nodded slowly, and so he removed his hand from your neck, taking one step back.
“You shouldn’t have chosen him.” Duff said, starting to walk towards the man, who by now was dead.
“Why?” You finally spoke.
“See this watch?” He removed the accessory, throwing it towards you. “Costs 30 thousand dollars.”
Duff searched for personal belongings in the man's pockets, throwing his wallet and his car keys towards you. Standing up, he threw the body over his shoulder, walking a few steps towards a dumpster and throwing the body inside of it.
“Take the money and the credit cards from inside of it and then throw the wallet in the dumpster too.” He said, taking a pocket knife out of his leather jacket.
“Why?”
He rolled his eyes. Is that all you know how to say? He thought.
“We need to make it look like it was a robbery.” He answered, stabbing the man’s neck where two small holes used to be.
You did as he said, running weirdly with only one shoe on towards the dumpster and throwing the wallet there. You turned around realizing that Duff was nowhere to be seen.
“Stranger?” You shouted.
“Here.”
You followed his voice, finding him leaning against a black Porsche. “You don’t need to yell you know.”
He took a cigarette out of his pocket, lighting it up. “Here!” He threw the car’s keys towards you.
“Find a junkyard and use that money to pay for someone to destroy the car.”
You looked at him dumbfounded as he started walking away.
“Wait!”
He stopped, turning around.
“I- I…” You tried to think of what to say, but nothing came out of your mouth.
Duff eyed you for a while, before realizing what was going on. “When did you wake up?”
“This- today... a few hours ago.” You looked so lost.
“Shit.” He mumbled. “It’s normal, most of us don’t remember anything personal after the transition, it can take you some days to remember everything.”
“Transition?”
“You weren’t like this before, honey.”
You frowned.
“You used to be a human, like him.” He pointed towards the alley. “Now you’re a vampire, like me.”
“Why?”
“Because someone wanted you to.”
“Who?”
He rolled his eyes. “I don’t fucking know! But clearly wasn't decent enough to raise you.”
“What- What do I do?”
“There’s nothing you can do, this is your life now.”
You stared at him as he heard your heart racing and could see the tears that started to form in your eyes.
“Do you remember something? Anything?... Your name, maybe?”
You nodded slowly. “It’s Y/N.”
Duff threw away his cigarette, before opening the driver’s door of the car.
“Come on, Y/N, let’s get rid of this car, and then I’ll find somewhere for you to stay.”
---
The sun was rising on the horizon when Duff and Y/N entered the house, everyone showing up as soon as they smelled your scent, curious about the new guest.
“Brought some company, Duff?” Axl asked, walking down the stairs, stopping in front of you and picking up your hand, taking it to his lips, pressing a delicate kiss on it. “All yours or will you share with us?” A smirk appearing on his face.
Duff said nothing, putting his coat on the hanger and walking towards the library, finding Izzy reading by the window.
“It's a new-born, doesn’t remember anything, I think it’s better if you give the lecture.”
Izzy lifted his eyes from his book, thinking for a second before closing it and exiting the room with Duff on his track.
“Y/N, these are Axl and Izzy, Steven is the guy looking at you through the backyard windows and Slash is the one up there.” He pointed towards each one of them, stopping at Slash who was on the second floor, looking at them.
You looked to your side quickly, a little startled by Steven’s presence, but soon you saw curiosity in his eyes and his figure waving at you, and you realized he wasn’t creepy. You slowly waved back at him, before having your attention caught by Duff again.
“Izzy is gonna explain to you some things, since he’s older than me.”
Izzy motioned for you to follow him, walking further into the house.
You looked at Duff hesitantly, but he nodded, reassuring you, making you walk behind the brunette until you were inside a fancy office, filled with wooden shelves and expensive furniture.
Izzy sat behind the desk, making a gesture for you to sit in front of him.
You eyed each other for a few seconds, in an awkward way before Izzy spoke up.
“What is it that you’re curious about?”
You took a moment to reply as his accent hit your ears. "I don't know…"
"You don't know?" He raised one eyebrow.
“What am I?”
“You’re a vampire.”
“Yeah, but Duff said that I wasn’t- he said I was a human before.”
“All of us were, until we transitioned.”
“Transitioned?”
“It’s what we call it. A vampire transformed you.”
“How does it happen?”
He leaned against his chair, taking a long breath before replying. “They give you their blood, which is poisonous to a human, as soon as it touches your stomach, you die. After a few hours you wake up, and you’re no longer a human.”
“Why me?”
“I don’t know, the only one who can answer that, is who transformed you.”
There was a pause before you spoke up again.
"Why can I remember random things, but not my birthday?"
He shrugged. "No-one knows, it's just how it is."
You looked at one of the walls, observing a big old map on it, the once white paper was now in a dark shade of beige. “So it is like in those movies?”
“Pretty much.”
“Will I shine in the sun?”
He chuckled lowly, “No. You’ll most probably burn.”
You looked back at him, widening your eyes. “Like, catching on fire?”
“No," He chuckled again. "More like going to the beach on a very sunny day without sunscreen. Of course, if you stay underneath it for too long your skin will start to look like barbecue and it won't be a pleasant feeling… but, on a cloudy day, sunscreen and hats do the job for you.”
“What about sunny days?”
“Forget about those. We usually isolate during summer, just going out during the nights.”
“So I- I really am a monster?”
“A monster, a god, a beast… there are many definitions, depending on the culture, but we usually go by vampires.”
You took in a long breath. “So my heart stopped beating?” You touched your chest.
“Of course not, nothing survives without a beating heart." He smiled, trying not to laugh again. "It's just beating slower… if we stay silent and you pay attention, you'll hear it”
“That- that’s a lot of information.” You gulped.
“Yeah, but it’s better for you to learn it in the beginning.”
He crossed his own fingers, eyeing you.
“Why do we drink blood?”
“Why do cows eat grass? Why does a wolf eat the sheep?... It's the food chain ... we are predators."
You looked at his Persian rug for a while before coming up with another question.
“Do we still eat normal food?"
“We don’t actually need food anymore, but food gives your body energy and we can make good use of that.”
“So you guys still eat?”
“Sometimes… the same goes for drinking anything.”
“We don’t need water anymore?”
“Technically, no. But if you spend too much time without drinking it you’ll look like a raisin.” He smiled faintly.
She nodded slowly. “Garlic?”
“That’s bullshit, you can eat garlic if you want.”
“Crosses?”
“Another lie. Some of us are still religious, so no, crosses don’t do anything to us.”
“Who was the first?”
“No one knows… There are many legends and stories, but nobody knows exactly.”
“Legends like Dracula? Do you think he was the first one?”
Izzy chuckled at you. “Axl is older than Dracula, so no, I don’t think he was.”
“He is… older than Dracula? That ginger?” You pointed towards the living room with your thumb.
“I am!” You heard his voice coming from there.
“As you probably noticed, we don’t age.” He got a cigarette from his vintage cigarette box on top of his table, lighting it.
“And what is this? Is it like a fraternity, or something?”
He shrugged again. “There isn’t a correct definition for the collective of vampires, we usually call them clans.”
“Are there too many clans?”
He looked at you for a second, and you could tell that he was annoyed by the number of questions you had. But he answered anyway.
“Not really… Vampires aren’t the most sociable species, we hardly hang around each other."
“And why do you guys do?”
He shrugged, blowing out some smoke.
“What should I do now?”
“You need to wait.” He placed the remains of his cigarette on his ashtray. “As soon as your human blood is replaced by the vampire, you’ll remember your personal information and will start to have full access to your new abilities.”
You nodded, fixing your eyes on a black-covered book on his desk.
“Where will I stay?” Your posture changing with discomfort.
“You can stay here until you remember everything, then you’ll have to leave.”
“But what will I do alone?” You bit your bottom lip, trying not to cry for the second time that day.
Seeing the tears forming in your eyes, he stood up. “That is not something you should be worried about now. Go upstairs and sleep for some hours, it will help with your mood swings.”
“So we can sleep?” You got up, walking past the door.
He didn’t answer, stopping by the door and looking up. “Slash, can you find a room for Y/N?”
The man still on top of the stairs nodded, and so you walked towards him, following him down the corridor.
“Here, this room ain’t taken.” He opened a door to his left.
“Thank you.” You entered.
“If you need anything, just say it, we can hear you easily.”
You nodded and he closed the door behind him, leaving you alone in the room. Your mind racing and aching with all the information you had gathered.
Loneliness and sadness soon hitting you like a train. You removed your shoe, laying on the bed and closing your eyes as silent tears left them.
You hated not knowing what was happening, or more precisely, what had happened, and even if you tried to remain calm, you couldn't help the frustration that started to build up in your chest.
So you laid on your side, squeezing your pillow closer to you as you tried to sleep, hoping that when you woke up, everything would have been just a dream.

Nikki’s POV
I walked up the stairs to Vanity’s room after being welcomed in by Lucia and Tonya. I barged into her room, not bothering to knock, cause why the fuck would I?
I saw that she was sleep, I scoffed as the sun was just now setting. How the fuck could she be asleep already.
I crawled into her bed and got on top of her, “Van...wake up.” I said, kissing her lips and then her chest, “We have a party to go too.” I whispered into her skin as I saw her start to wake up.
“Nikki...get off of me.” She grumbled tiredly as I did what she said and laid next to her, “Congrats on the album release today.” She said, sitting back on her elbows as she looked at the alarm clock.
“I’ve been asleep for five hours.” She laughed, “Why are you here?” She asked, rubbing her eyes as she smiled at me.
“Thanks babe, you gotta get up and get dressed we’re having a party to celebrate the new album.” I explained as she gave me a weak smile.
“Can I skip this one? I’m tired Sixx, I can’t keep up tonight.” She questioned, as I shook my head.
“No. You’re gonna get out of bed and get dolled up. Then you’re gonna come with me, don’t pack a bag you have clothes at my place, that’s where the parties at.” I explained as she pushed the hair back and out of my face.
“C’mon babe. I gotta introduce you to the band that’s gonna be our opening act. They’re new, but they are good.” I added on, trying to convince her as I kissed her shoulder.
“Who is it?” She raised an eyebrow as she was curious.
“Guns N’ Roses.” I stated as she let out a gasp and then a huge grin broke out across her face, maybe she shouldn’t meet them if she’s already acting like this.
“Guns N’ Roses!?! Nikki! I am absolutely in love with their music! Why didn’t you tell me sooner!?” She squealed as she got out of bed and went to her closet.
“You never act this way with Motley...” I frowned as I watched her push hanger after hanger.
“Oh stop it, I do too.....but man they’ve had some really great songs on the radio. Paradise City? Welcome to the Jungle? Sweet Child o’ Mine? My Michelle? I haven’t heard a song of theirs I haven’t liked yet.” She continued to be dramatic as I rolled my eyes.
“So does Motley.” I said under my breath, “What was that?” She asked turning around to face me.
“Never Mind, What should I wear?” She said holding up a dark red leather skirt and a pair of black ripped up skinny jeans.
“Neither.” I blurted out as she cocked her head to the side and looked at me. I didn’t want her wearing something for all these guys to be drooling over.
“Are they nice guys?” She questioned as she pulled down her pants before putting the jeans on, “Yeah...sure.” I grumbled as I watched her get ready.
“Axl is an arrogant prick sometimes, Izzy is a good kid, Duff and I get along and go over new chords and riffs a lot. Steven always runs around with T-bo-“
“Is Slash fun?” She abruptly cut me off as she slipped on a tight grey tank top that made her tits pop out even more before pulling on a black leather jacket.
“Is he nice?” She asked about him again. I glared at her, “What’s that look for?” She seemed confused.
“Nothing. Are you ready to go?” I examined her outfit as she put on a pair of all black converse. She shook her head before walking to the bathroom.
“Why are you so curious about Slash?” I yelled for her, but she was quiet. So, I have to keep my eye on her and tell this guy to back off already.
“I’m not, I’ve just heard a lot about him.” She finally answered me, “He’s pretty hot.” She mumbled, walking back into the bedroom.
“And so are you, don’t worry. You’re hotter.” She laughed as she looked at me, but I didn’t find anything about what she was saying funny
“What have you heard?” I questioned, “Just what the groupies the guys bring backstage talk about. They seem to fuck everyone.” She giggled as she stood in front of me.
“Oh relax, Sixx. I’m just messing with you.” She expresses as she tousled my hair even more. I nodded as I looked up at her, “Ready?” I asked as she nodded.
We walked downstairs as she said bye to the girls, but she came to a halt at her doorstep.
“Oh no. I am not getting on that death trap. You must be blitzed out of your damn mind.” She retorted, moving her hair over her shoulder as she judged my motorcycle.
“Van, baby. It’s not a death trap, I mean it is but only if Tommy is driving.” I reassured her as I noticed her pouting.
“Why didn’t you drive the corvette? I love the corvette. There’s doors, and windows and safety.” She continued to complain as she wrapped her arms around her frame.
I rolled my eyes and let out a groan, “Just give it a try. C’mon, I’ve been dying to get you on the bike.”
She shook her head, “Vanity, you’re being a big baby. C’mon doll, just get on the motorcycle and we’ll be there before you know it.”
“Did you know roughly 5.1% of people involved in motorcycle accidents die? I don’t know how much that is, but that’s like a lot.” She breathed out, her voice becoming almost like the many valley girls I’ve had the pleasure of fucking. They were annoying though, I usually covered their mouth so I didn’t have to hear them.
I shook my head, pointing at the bike, “That’s not a lot babe, get the fuck on the bike. Jesus, out of all things to freak you out.”
She walked closer to the bike, “You’re not even gonna offer me a helmet?” She asked, as I was starting to grow frustrated with her. I stomped over and handed her the helmet I sometimes wear.
She scoffed and rolled her eyes, “What now, Princess? Not your color or is it out of season?” I teased, raising an eyebrow.
“It’s not like I’m gonna wear it Nikki. It would totally mess up my hair.” She retorted, pushing the helmet back to me
I exhaled my frustrations, “Don’t get how you’re so concerned about safety and you won’t even wear the damn thing, but whatever.” I grumbled getting on top of the bike as I waited for her.
She groaned and climbed on top after me, “Just don’t dangle your feet and you’ll be fine.” I explained as she nodded and wrapped her arms around my waist.
“Just...just pay attention to the road..” She said into my ear as I started driving us back to my house.
“You’re not high are you!?” She yelled over the engine and traffic. I rolled my eyes as I let go of one of the handle bars and held her hand.
“No...not yet anyways, just shut up and enjoy the ride.” I snapped at her.
“Ugh, well then.” She said, and was quiet for the remaining fifteen minute drive.
*Nikki’s house*
“Y’know, I didn’t really mean it when I told you to shut up.” I explained as I helped her off the bike.
She looked up at me, letting out a huff, “You’re cute when I frustrate you.” She smirked, patting the side of my cheek.
“You’re cute when you shut the fuck up for once.” I bluntly said as she scoffed, “Well you’re cuter when you shut the fuck up too.” She was quick to respond.
“Do I need to take you upstairs to get rid of that attitude before the festivities begin?” I questioned, her lips parted like she was gonna say something but she was quick to stop herself.
“No.” She mumbled as she started walking to my front door.
I groaned as I watched her walk ahead of me, her ass looked fucking great in those jeans. I grabbed her by the waist and pulled her inside, taking her up to my bedroom while throwing her over my shoulder despite her weak fighting and laughter.
*a few hours later*
“Doll! Come here!” I yelled over the loud music, motioning for her as she was talking to some girl.
Vanity approached me, taking eager steps as she saw the band sitting on the couch, “Vanity, meet Guns n’ Roses.” I said, wrapping an arm around her waist loosely.
“I’m sure you know who all of them are, since you’re such a big fan and all.” I teased as she shook her head, “Nice to meet all of you.” She smiled sweetly as I noticed the guys look at her like a fresh piece of meat.
“Does she come with the tour?” Slash stood up from the couch, pretty much fucking drooling over her. I pulled her closer to me, hoping that would give him the fucking signal to back off.
“Slash, or Saul. Whatever you want to call me is fine. It’s nice to meet you, Vanity.” He responded, taking the cigarette out of his mouth and sticking his hand out for her.
I noticed that playful smirk on her lips as she shook his hand, “Nice to meet you too..” She replied, taking a step away from me and a step closer to him. After a less than normal amount of time to shake someone’s hand, she finally let go.
“But you didn’t answer my question, do you come with the tour?” Slash asked, shoving his hands into his front pockets as he kept all of his attention on her.
“Of course, she’s on the Motley bus with me.” I pointed out, “Someone has to keep her from going wild.” I had received a glare from her and then an eye roll.
“Not with him, just in the same vicinity.” Vanity was quick to clarify, “Yeah, the vicinity of my bed.” I reminded her as I whispered into her ear. She nudged me in the side in return.
“Slash, i would love to hear you play sometime.” Vanity said, teasingly placing her hand on his arm. He took her hand and led her to the couch so she could sit with him. I sat down on the other couch across from them.
“Yeah, of course angel, whatever you want. You can come by my hotel room if you’d like.” He said, while putting an arm behind her head and resting it against the back of the couch.
“No, maybe at the show you can.” Vanity explained, glancing over at me as I gave her a wink. Good girl.
“Can I get you another drink?” Vanity asked him as she pointed to his half empty bottle of beer, “Or some blow? T-bone will help with that, I think.” She continued as I rolled my eyes and took a sip out of my glass.
“His legs aren’t broken, Van.” I butted in as she looked over at me. I was sick of their flirting already, “I’m just being nice to your guests, Nikki.” She snapped back at me.
“Yeah, my guests. Not yours. I can do it myself.” I barked back, “Hey, she’s just being a good girl and wanting to help.” Slash butted in as he put his hand on her thigh that was crossed over her leg. I’m about to break his god damn hand if he doesn’t get it off of her.
“Fine. You want a drink. I’ll be back.” I angrily stood up, giving her a warning look as I left.
*Vanity’s POV*
I watched Nikki stomp off, but a hand on my jaw broke my gaze as Slash forced me to look at him.
“Is Sixx your boyfriend or something?” He asked. I shook my head, “It’s...it’s complicated, but I’m single.” I replied, giving him a sweet smile as I noticed his eyes travel down my body.
“You like what you see?” I flirted with him, pushing his curly hair back and out of his face.
He licked his lips as he nodded, brushing his hand over mine, “So since you’re single, I’m guessing you wouldn’t be against going out on a date with me now would you?”
I laughed, pulling my hand away from his, “a date? You’re a rockstar, you don’t date.” I rolled my eyes, running my nails through my hair. Every rockstar I’ve met through Nikki were all the same. They never dated, if they did, they got married and then divorced shortly after. Meet, fuck, date, get married, get divorced it was the same cycle.
“Well, you don’t know me. I’m not as famous as the Crüe yet, so it would be a real date. We could do dinner, talk over some wine or champagne if you’d like. I’d be respectful and wouldn’t try to get into your pants...no matter how bad I wanted too.” He breathed out as I cocked my head to the side. I was impressed.
“Uh...okay. Sure, yeah. A date. Well when?” I asked him as he seemed to be pondering on the idea, “Before the tour starts? The last of normality.” I chuckled at his words.
“Yeah, once you go on tour with them it’s over. You’ll be drunk or high all the time, barely sober enough to play. Sleeping in until the next show, and everything else in between.” I explained to him as I felt his fingers play with my hair.
“And what about you?” He asked as I shrugged and looked at him, “Nikki had to practically carry me back to the hotel just about every night of that answers your question.”
He smirked, nodding as he spoke, “Well...if he’s too busy...I’d gladly help you to your room. Safely, of course.” I took a hesitant breath when he lowered his face closer to mine, my eyes darting to his full pink lips. I could tell he noticed by that confident smirk he was now wearing.
I looked around, seeing if I could find Nikki but he was no where in sight, “If you’re lucky, maybe I’ll take you up on that.”
Slash moved away from me when I saw a ringed hand passing him a beer, “Where’s mine?” I asked Nikki, noticing his eyes were low and he was having a problem trying to stand up straight. I also noticed that the sleeves that were rolled up to his elbows were now rolled down to the middle of his forearms.
“You’re not a guest. You know where everything is, you can get it yourself.” Nikki barked as he sat down in a chair next to Slash.
I bit down on my tongue as I glared at him, I didn’t want to start this in the middle of a party.
“I’ll be back.” I told Slash as he gave me a smile and I walked to go find a drink. And a T-bone.
*Nikki’s POV*
I watched Slash stare at her ass as she walked away from him, “Hey man, are you hitting that?” Axl asked, slapping my knee, “Cause if you aren’t, I am.” He added on, laughing before he passed a joint to Duff.
“I caught her interest before you even had the chance to say hello.” Slash joked to Axl as Duff handed him the joint.
Slash handed the joint to me after he took a hit, “Whatever you do-,” I paused as I took my hit and exhaled, “If you know what’s good for you, and your band. She’s off limits.” I warned Slash, but also looked at Axl. I had no worries about Axl, he would never be her type. Not even for a quickie. But I needed to get the fucking point across that she was mine.
Slash chuckled, smiling arrogantly as he took a sip of his beer, “She said she was single. I think that makes her fair game.”
I shook my head, “Yeah, that’s not how this fucking works. When she has your bands name tattooed on her as like she does mine, I’ll let you know when she’s fucking single.” I snapped at him, breaking the joint in half and throwing it into a half finished cup of booze.
“Sixx, man...I’m not trying to ruffle your feathers, but if she wasn’t single, I don’t think she would have said yes to going on a date with me.”
I glared at Vanity as she walked up with glossed over eyes and a red solo cup, more than likely filled up with vodka cranberry.
“What are you drinking angel?” Slash asked, pulling Vanity down to sit down next to him, as I saw him eye me when he put her legs on top of his.
“Vodka Cranberry.”
“Well, hope you enjoy yourself.” I said, smacking Vanitys’ leg off of his, “As for you-” I glared at her as she had a confused look on her face, “I brought you here to meet them, not to fucking date.” She immediately looked away from me and took a sip of her drink, “Its not a big deal, Nikki.” She said, still looking at everything but me.
“Yeah, man. Not a big deal.” Slash said, wrapping an arm around her shoulder as he smirked at me and blew the cigarette smoke in my direction.
I took a long drink of whiskey, before speaking to her, “Not a big deal? It wouldn’t be a big deal if you didn’t have your lips wrapped around my cock just this afternoon before everyone got here.”
“Nikki...knock it off.” She said, slamming her cup down on the table, “Can’t help yourself, can you? Some new rockstar comes to town and you just have to try and get on their dick.”
“You’re being an asshole.” She said as Slash held her tighter, “And you’re being a slut. Please, you think this fucking guy can satisfy you like I can? You’re just lying to yourself.”
“Well I can sure as hell talk to her better than you clearly can.” Slash jumped to her defenses as she sat back with that pouty look she always gives me when she’s not getting her way.
“Slash just leave it. He’s mad because I’ll go on a date with you and not him. His feelings are just hurt.” She cackled, as the guys around her laughed too.
I felt my face go red, “Fuck you.” I said, fists balled at my side as I walked away from her.
“Nik...Nikki...” She was following after me. I walked up my stairs, seeing that she stopped at the bottom of them as I went to my room and slammed the door shut.
I quickly went into the closet and sat down on the Persian carpets that were inside. I grabbed a rig and a spoon and started melting the junk on it. How could she just fucking laugh at me like that? And then my peers laughing with her? I told her how I felt about her and she just wants to throw it in my face.
I heard my bedroom door close and then saw through the crack of the closet door that she had sat down against it, “Nikki, open the door.” I heard her voice as I shook my head and loaded the needle up.
“Go hang out with Slash, wouldn’t want you to hurt his feelings.” I stated as I rolled my sleeves back up and tied a band around my arm.
“Please nikki....I’m sorry. I’m just-I’ve had a lot of blow and a few drinks..” I rolled my eyes, and I’ve had double the amount you’ve had and three full syringes of heroin. Well, four now.
“I don’t give a fuck Vanity. You’re single. Go do whatever the fuck you want.”
She sighed as I heard her get up off the floor, and reach for the door handle. I kept my boot on the door so she couldn’t come in, “Don’t you dare fucking come in here.” My voice was muffled as I had part of the band in my mouth as I was in the midst of sticking the needle into my vein.
“Can you come back out at least? You can’t hide away in your room while you have a whole bunch of people here celebrating your band.” The door knob turned as she let go of it.
“I’ll come down when I’m ready, just go away.” I listened to her shoes against the wooden floor of my room, followed by the door closing behind her.
I sighed as I felt the rush go through my body, before I leaned my head back in pure bliss. I looked around the closet that was tinted with blue hues. I shook my head as I tried pulling myself up to my feet.
“Fuck...” I groaned, leaning into the mirror as I looked at myself. I wasn’t even getting high anymore, it was now just a fucking need to survive the day.
I opened the closet door, seeing that she didn’t even fucking leave, she had just left her shoes at the door and walked to my bed. She was lightly snoring as she laid on top of the covers.
I grabbed a shirt for her and threw it on the bed as I shook her leg, “Van, wake up...you can’t sleep in jeans or a jacket.”
She mumbled as she sat up and took off the jacket, followed by the shirt. She was full of laughter when she was trying to get dressed. I helped her stand up as she pulled down her jeans and tried kicking them off , but kept tripping over them.
“I’m sorry.” Her words were slurred as she sat down on the bed and watched me pull the pants from around her ankles.
“Just go to sleep. I don’t want to talk about it.” I pulled the blankets down and then covered her up.
“Kiss me so I know you’re not mad.” I rolled my eyes at her stupid comment, but I kissed her lips anyways, “I’m still mad though.” She groaned as she turned over to lay on her stomach, her bright pink thong was now exposed to me. I let my finger run across her tattoo.
I slapped her ass as she let out a moan, “keep it up Vanity, or I swear you won’t walk right for a week.” I muttered as I started walking to the door.
“Maybe that’s what I want.” I turned around to see that she was looking at me. The shirt had raised up and was exposing her naval ring and the other tattoo on her hip.
I smirked, “Trust me, doll. You don’t want that. Shut up and go to sleep.”

oooooooo Steve being sick like the sick where you spill all your secrets and the kids find out that Steve is not okay and needs hugs
When Steve doesn't show up for their shift, Robin isn’t necessarily worried. Like, it's a shitty job, she’s not exactly thrilled to be here either.
It’s only when he calls up the store and mumbles his way into calling in sick, which, by the way, involves a whole lot of coughing his lungs out and slurring words that she’s guessing were can’t go, I’m sick, that Robin starts worrying.
When he does this three days in a row, getting less and less coherent each time, Robin officially levels up to what the fuck even, Steven.
So, after her shift, she does what her mother, bless her, always told her not to do: she goes to a boy’s house when she knows his parents aren’t home. And goddamn, she kind of hates that she knows Steve keeps his spare key under a rock on his mother’s stupid rose bushes by the front door. Honestly, what a freaking cliché.
Steve’s house is exactly like he described once– big, cold, and empty– and Robin shivers, tucking her jacket tighter.
“Steve?” She calls, fidgeting by the stairs. Should she just, invite herself in? Well, she kind of already did that, but–
A coughing fit echoes from what she assumes must be one of the bedrooms. Yup, upstairs it is, nevermind being polite or whatever.
“Just keep coughing,” she tells the empty hallway because holy shit, there’s way too many bedrooms and patience has never been her virtue.
Obediently, or more likely unconsciously, Steve coughs again. Gotcha. It seriously sounds like he’s racking up a lung, Robin is kind of afraid of what she's going to find there.
“Holy crap, dude,” she says, stopping at the doorway because holy crap, dude, Steve looks awful. His skin is sickly pale and sweaty, his hair is either sticking up or matted to his forehead, there’s a trashcan near his bed that she is so not going to look inside and tissues are piling up on the floor. At any other given day, she would probably make a crack on how boys are so freaking gross, but since he looks like he caught the plague, she’s giving Steve a pass.
“Robin?” Steve mumbles, blinking his eyes open. Or, at least, Robin thinks he said that; it came out more like an incoherent string of letters.
“Hey, dingus,” she steps in his room, scrunching her nose at the stuffy smell, and sits carefully at the edge of the bed. The lump under the covers shifts and Steve’s face reappears, looking blearily at her. “Why aren't you in a hospital?”
“Don't need ‘ospital,” he rasps, coughs some more, and tries to smother himself in the blankets. “Just the flu.”
To be fair, it is flu season.
Robin squints, and because she’s like, the world’s bestest friend, she lays a hand on his very gross forehead. “You’re burning up, oh, my God, have you taken anything?”
A hand flops from underneath the blankets and gestures vaguely towards the bedside table, where a couple of cough syrup bottles are lying, nearly empty.
“Jess Christ, did you go through them already?” How's he still alive, holy fuck. “Okay, okay. It’s fine. Let’s take a break on that, though, yeah?”
Steve grumbles some nonsense. Robin is taking that as a yes. Downstairs, the phone starts to ring.
“Lemme die in peace,” he grumbles again.
“I’ll get you some Tylenol,” she replies cheerily.
The medicine cabinet, she figures, can’t be that hard to find. Everyone keeps them in their bathroom, right?
*
She’s already got a glass of water on her hand and is about to return upstairs when the phone rings again. And rings, and rings, and rings, and it’s going to give both of them a headache, since clearly, whoever’s on the other side is not giving up anytime now.
“Harrington’s residence, you may speak,” she answers with her best fake cheerful telemarket girl voice. It’s a very good impression, Robin truly has a gift.
“Hello?” A familiar voice says, “who’s this– wait, is that Robin? What are you doing at Steve’s– oh, my god, are you guys hooking up? Why didn’t I know this? What the hell, you guys–”
“Hey, hey, hey,” Robin snaps, wishing to god she didn’t have to deal with heteronormativity today; no good deed goes unpunished, she guesses. “Cool your jets, Dustin. I’m here ‘cause Steve is like, super sick.”
“Oh, shit, sorry,” Dustin sounds slightly panicked now, “is he dying? Where are his parents?”
“Nah, he’s pretty out of it and a total mess, but he’ll live. Maybe. Anyway, that’s why I’m here,” she shrugs even though Dustin can see her. He’ll know though, the kid is smart. “And his parents are… not here? I don’t know, man, that’s all I know. The place was empty when I got here–” there’s a crashing sound from upstair and Robin counts to ten, then, “YOU BETTER NOT BE TRYING TO GET UP, STEVEN– so, yeah. It’s just me trying to keep the idiot alive.”
A beat of silence. “Okay, got it. Stay strong, help is on the way.”
“Sure,” she drawls, eyebrows raising, “because that’s not ominous at– and he hung up, great.”
Maybe, that means Dustin is sending a real, responsible adult here, or like, calling Steve’s parents, or anything normal like that. Maybe the house isn’t about to be swarmed with little kids that are so going to get sick after this. Maybe Robin won’t have to look after Steve’s children and Steve. Maybe, Steve won’t be a whiny bitch about taking the pills.
Who knows, after this summer, Robin is pretty open to miracles.
*
The good news is– Steve only complained mildly before swallowing the Tylenol, and then only groaned about his imminent death a little, low enough that Robin could totally ignore him in order to snoop around his room, and then promptly passed out.
The bad news is– there are currently four children wearing drugstore face masks like that’ll solve everything here.
“We came as soon as we heard it,” Dustin explains, voice muffled by his white mask.
“Is Steve going to die?” Max asks, and her face is twitching like she’s going to burst into tears but it’s fighting it with all her considerable early-teen-years might, and oh, shit, her brother died in the mall, didn’t he? Robin can hear the unspoken too hanging there at the end of her sentence and packing all her panic and fear.
Fuck, everyone here is way too traumatized for a tiny as fuck town in the middle of goddamn Indiana.
“No one’s dying,” Robin assures awkwardly, letting them inside Steve’s room and watching as they all crowd around his bed. Oh, god, their parents are so gonna kill Robin if they get sick later. “Hm. Maybe don’t, you know, get too close.”
“Steve is sick, Robin,” Dustin tells her as if, somehow, she hadn’t noticed that before, and as if it explains everything. Kids are so fucking weird, man.
Whatever answer Dustin is expecting from her that had never been coming anyway is cut short by Steve’s suddenly hoarse scream. His face had been smushed against the pillow so it’s pretty muffled, but it still startles everyone, and Steve is now scrambling, twisting under the covers, kicking and shit, he’s gonna fall off the bed like this and get himself a broken nose on top of the worst case of flu Robin’s ever seen–
“Shit,” Mike says, “he’s got the nightmares again. Nancy said he used to get them all the time last year.”
“Then wake him up, dumbass,” Robin rolls her eyes, thinking of the quick recap Steve had given her at the mall before everything went to shit. He had certainly not said anything about nightmares, but now that there’s no Russian conspiracy looming over their heads to distract her, it seems pretty obvious shit like that stays with you. Freaking evil goo monsters, man. Of course Steve has nightmares, Robin gets them sometimes and she hasn’t been here for half of the shit that he’s been through. She shakes his shoulder carefully, feeling the way he’s shivering under her hand. “Hey, Steve, yo, wake up.”
Behind her, she can feel the kids crowding to peer over her shoulder.
And Steve wakes up with a start, jolting up in the bed and nearly throwing them all off it. His eyes are wild and wide, and while the Tylenol has got to have kicked in by now, he still looks feverish and high on cough syrup. “What,” he pants, exhales a shuddering breath and lurches to the side to throw up on the trash can. His hands, Robin notices, are shaking.
“It’s okay, Steve,” Dustin says in what he probably thinks it’s a soothing voice but Robin thinks makes him sound like he’s about to murder someone, and reaches to pat him on the back. “There’s no demodogs here or giant melted flesh monsters or demogorgons or–”
“Thank you, Dustin,” she speaks over his list while Lucas and Max help Steve lie back like little nurses, “I think he got it, yeah.”
“Doesn’t matter,” Steve mumbles, wounded and hoarse, and curls up, eyes darting around the room in a way that makes Robin glad she left the lights on. “Not them. Hey, Robin, ‘member when the Russians tortured us?”
She goes cold.
That night had been fucked up and she had shoved it down where she doesn't have to think about, and even if she does try to remember, its all a little fuzzy at the edges after they got caught. The last thing she has a clear memory of before the drug left her system is yelling at Dustin and Erica to get the hell out of there and bring help. All she has next are snapshots– a soldier yelling with a gun in her face, the cold cell floor, Steve bloody and bruised to hell, a sharp needle pricking her neck– then, her conversation with Steve is back in sharp focus, the knee-buckling relief that comes after washing away the panic.
But. “Shit, yeah, dude. Why, were you–”
The sentence hangs in the air and maybe they should talk about this to get, like, closure or some shit like that, yeah, but now is probably not the best time, not in front of the kids, because Jesus, they’re just kids they shouldn’t be hearing about this.
“Thought I was back there,” Steve keeps going, apparently too sick or too high to think about how child-friendly this topic is, “the– the soldier guy, he was ripping off my fingernails, man, he almost did it back there, thought he had knocked something loose in my head.”
“Oh my god,” she hears one of the kids whispering in horror and privately agrees. She knew it had been bad, seen his state when they threw them together in the same cell, but she had known it had been this bad– they tried to rip off his fingernail, Christ.
“And then, then like, it kept going on this loop, and I thought you all were dead, and it was my fault, stupid, stupid, why did I have to go snooping and dragged everyone into this, and I thought, shit, I’m gonna die, and–”
Okay, shit, Robin needs to stop him right there because she knows a panic attack when she sees one and Steve is winding up for a big one. “Alright, hey, hey, Steve,” she says slowly, quietly, careful to leave her voice blank, “it’s fine. You’re fine, man. No one’s dead, look,” she gestures the kids and they all scramble up the bed, for once not babbling on and on, and silently decide to go for a group hug. Robin wisely stays out of it. “See, your kids are fine, you’re fine, and the Russians got fucked, okay?”
“Yeah?” Steve asks, eyes wide and round, and he looks a little overwhelmed with all those kids hugging him, and Robin thinks it’s the cutest shit ever. If she had a camera, this would have been prime blackmail material. More importantly, it seems to help ground him, bring him back to Hawkins, Indiana and not those fucked up memories. “Yeah, thanks, I– sorry.”
Shrugging, Robin offers a small smile, relieved to see he’s already drifting again. “Don’t worry about it, dingus,” she claps her hand quietly, getting the kids’ attention, “come along, kiddos, we gotta let your babysitter rest, now. And you’re all helping me make soup.”
There are groans all around, but they all trail behind her down the stairs.

Friend Ship S2E15
I think it’s important to note that the episodes since “Cry For Help” were released in a Stevenbomb over the course of one week, called the Week of Sardonyx. For one, that means it took so much less time to air this arc than I’ve taken to review it, and it took much less time than the actual time in-universe. Compare that to the recent Diamond Days event which took a whole month to air, but in-universe covered the events of a week at most (based on the fact that Steven and Connie didn’t die of starvation or dehydration in gem jail). CN really needs to rethink their scheduling because Steven Universe can’t be the only show affected by this.  Aight, diatribe aside time for “Friend Ship” the conclusion of Pearl’s sneaky, lying, bad-fusion arc.
We open with Peridot being a grumpy space dorito, trying to reassemble the galaxy warp that Garnet decimated in “Marble Madness”. The task seems utterly hopeless as the Crystal Gems warp in with Pearl exclaiming that her plan worked. Steven says good morning to Peridot and explains that they found a secret way to track her.
Tumblr media
Peridot is frustrated and annoyed, but so are the Crystal Gems as Pearl keeps interrupting their comebacks with rather unoriginal ones. Peridot screams that the planet has an expiration date that she doesn’t want to be there for and tries to blast the Crystal Gems. She hits a large standing column that almost crushes the gems if not for Steven producing a giant shield to block the stone. Pearl decides to go rogue with Garnet yelling after her to stop and Peridot easily captures her with her limb enhancer levitation beam and throws her back at Steven, knocking him out and destroying the shield. Garnet and Amethyst jump into action, Garnet catching the stone and Amethyst spin attacking Peridot. Steven yells at Pearl and jumps back into the fight, which is shocking as the Gems would usually be upset with Steven for being in the way. Steven throws a shield at Peridot to distract her and Amethyst and Garnet go for a combo attack, Garnet throwing the stone slab and Amethyst using her whip to tether and whip it down at Peridot. Peridot is thrown from the broken warp she tried to escape on and both Pearl and Garnet attempt to catch her. Pearl collides into Garnet and both fall, leaving Peridot free to helicopter out of reach and over to the working warp pad.
Tumblr media
Everyone is upset with Pearl as they warp back home but she tries to look at the positive, that they can now track Peridot’s warp movements in order to catch her. Garnet is still very cold to her as Pearl says she hopes they can catch Peridot and close this chapter in their lives. Amethyst finally suggests that Pearl and Garnet need to have a talk but before either can say anything, Peridot’s escape pod, which is attached to the warp, lights up, showing Peridot in South America. Pearl jumps into action and Garnet begrudgingly follows. Steven is happy for Pearl’s optimism but Amethyst tells him that it won’t help because Garnet won’t forgive her just for catching Peridot. They follow Peridot and find that she’s in an old interplanetary dropship that was used before warps were built on Earth. The gems step inside to find Peridot, only for her to appear on a projected screen, similar to her first visual appearance in the Kindergarten when trying to remotely check on the fusion experiments. They have a brief conversation, made funny by video-audio lag and Peridot announces that she’s using the ship to trap the Gems. She activates a bunch of lasers and starts screaming “Die Die Die Die DIE!”
Tumblr media
Steven quickly summons another large shield for everyone and they run to a nearby corridore. Steven is exhausted as that was his third shield in one day. Just then, spikes start poking out through the floor and ceiling, forcing the Gems to keep moving. Pearl spots Peridot at the end of the hallway and runs to attack her. When she slices through the holoprojection Pearl gets supremely frustrated and tries to slice the projection to shreds. Garnet is incredibly disapointed in her for this and yells at Pearl. As everyone gets to the end of the hallway, the floor opens beneath them and everyone is falling! Amethyst quickly reacts and catches Steven with her whip while also tethering to a plant above. Pearl and Garnet land at the bottom of the pit and are quickly shut off from Amethyst and Steven. I like how this scene parallels Steven trying to catch the falling gemstones of the CG’s during “Change Your Mind” as he went from needing saved to saving everyone else.
Tumblr media
Amethyst and Steven drop down to the room above Pearl and Garnet’s new cell and find a video feed into the room. Garnet and Pearl are each trying to break out of the room when Pearl apologizes again for what she did, explaining how she wanted to catch Peridot to make up for distracting them with the deception. Just then the room begins to shrink in on them. Amethyst and Steven panic while Garnet and Pearl continue to talk, Garnet stating that Pearl needs to know there are consequences to her actions. Pearl says she couldn’t help herself because fusion with Garnet is when she can feel what it’s like to be strong and united. Pearl confesses that she feels like she’s just a Pearl, incapable of doing anything without direction from someone stronger. Steven and Amethyst manage to use her whip to stop the room for a few moments and Pearl finishes her apology. Garnet explains that she’s not as strong as Pearl thinks, that she fell apart because Ruby and Sapphire fought over the deception. Amethyst is shocked by this and Steven confirms as he was there. Garnet continues, saying that she struggles to stay strong as the leader of the team and that Pearl has an effect on the team as well. Garnet looks to Pearl for inspiration as Pearl is her own gem, not beholden to Garnet, Rose, or even Steven.
Tumblr media
I find this conversation very telling about Pearl’s character. Rose probably let her off the hook for a lot of things after the war because of their past lives together before the rebellion. And while Pearl claimed to be rogue, she lived as Rose’s Pearl for a long time. Garnet recognizes that even as Pearl declares her freedom, she still seeks leadership and direction from others and reminds Pearl that she’s not beholden to anyone, not even Rose’s legacy in Steven. Amethyst’s whip snaps and the room starts closing in again. Garnet tells Pearl that there is only one way out of the situation and Pearl defers back to Garnet saying that she’ll only do it if Garnet is okay with it. Amethyst are full on panicking when Sardonyx drills up through the floor to escape the room. As soon as they are safe, Sardonyx unfuses and Pearl and Garnet share a moment.
Tumblr media
The Gems find Peridot in the ship’s control room, being grouchy at the ancient gem technology that keeps malfunctioning. She quickly tries to make an escape but Steven either jumps or is thrown at her and catches her foot. The gems quickly make a chain to keep Peridot from flying away. She tries to kick and flick Steven off but eventually just ejects her foot from the limb enhancer and flies off like the cartoony villain she is in these episodes.
Tumblr media
Steven looks to Pearl and Garnet. Pearl says they’ll get the rest of her the next time and Garnet says they’ve taken a good step forward. The three of them laugh at the pun and Amethyst collapses with relief that Garnet and Pearl aren’t directly fighting any longer.
We get a small look into what Rose and Pearl’s relationship must have been like before Greg. Garnet thinks Pearl needs to learn about consequences for bad behavior and surmises that Pearl would eventually look to Steven for leadership as Rose’s son. It raises the question of why Pearl feels so tied to Rose if she’s a free Pearl. It’s not obvious but it is a clue as to Pearl and Pink Diamond’s relationship in the past. We get a good parallel between this episode and “Change Your Mind” as all the gems are falling and Amethyst saves Steven. Also if Steven jumped to catch Peridot (we don’t see how exactly he caught her) it foreshadows his future abilities. This episode is a good conclusion of the tension built up since “Cry For Help” and it will be good to see Pearl moving forward and taking Garnet’s words to heart.

Never say die - Chapter 22
Pairing: Axl Rose x reader Words: 2328 Summary: Reader accidentally time travels back to 1985 where Axl, Duff, Slash, Steven and Izzy find her.
Never say die masterlist
A/N: Okay this became quite long wtf.
Tumblr media
Amy's POV We arrived to the hospital, it was really crowded at the moment. Slash guided us to the room where Izzy was. First the doctor didn't want to let us in yet, but then he gave up and let us see our friend. Izzy was laying on the hospital bed, eyes closed, completely unconcious. We all were there now –  me, Axl, Duff, Steven, Slash, Scarlet, Dave and Erin. Everyone felt like crying and we were completely quiet for a moment, nobody didn't say even a word, until Steven broke the silence. ”I can't do this, i have to go,” he said, tried to hide his wet cheeks and reddish eyes. He started walking out of the door and closed it after him. I followed him and saw him sitting on the floor back against the wall, holding his head with his hand, elbows on his knees. I went to sit on the floor with him, putting my arm around him and keeping him close to me. He rested his head on my shoulder and we both just cried, looking like a huge mess to the people who walked past us. ”It's going to be okay,” i whispered and just stared at the wall in front of us. ”He's going to be okay.” After few seconds Steven nodded and we were silent, not saying anything at all. We were there for a while until i asked Steven to go back there with me. He got up and so did i and when we entered the room again, we saw Axl holding Izzy's hand, Duff and Slash sitting next to Izzy on the other side of the bed. Dave, Erin and Scarlet had left for a while for a coffee at the cafeteria one floor above the floor we were in, so the guys could be alone with Izzy for a moment. I was still hugging Steven tightly and i wasn't sure if i dared to say anything, i wanted to ask what had happened. I knew Slash and Duff were a bit high as well, but not so much. And before i could say anything, the door opened and the doctor came in, looking at some papers he was holding. He lifted his head to look at us. ”So you're all his friends, if i got it right?” he asked. We all nodded. ”Yeah, we are,” Axl answered. ”Best friends.” The doctor just sighed. ”Well, i'm sorry, but he's fallen into a coma,” he told us. ”But his condition is otherwise stable, so i'm very sure he's gonna wake up soon. Just give him time.” – The same night Axl decided to continue what he started before Slash interrupted him. They had just heard about Izzy the same day, but Erin came to ask Axl about it herself. Erin approached me and looked at Axl. ”So, what did you want to talk about with me earlier?” Erin asked. Okay, fucking coward, just do it, Axl thought. ”Look, Erin. I know this is a very bad moment for this, but,” Axl started and sighed. ”I think we should break up,” he continued. Erin's face fell immediately. ”Wait, what?” she asked, surprised and shocked. ”You're breaking up with me?” she continued, not believing what she had just heard. ”Yeah, i'm sorry. But i just think that maybe we're not right to each other after all,” Axl said and Erin looked like she could cry in any minute. ”Hey, hey. Please, don't cry. You'll find for yourself a much better man than me, i can promise that,” he tried to reassure her, but it was useless of course. Erin looked at Axl and furrowed her eyebrows, let her tears fall down her cheeks. ”We're not right to each other? Stop with that shit, tell me the real reason, Axl,” she commanded and crossed her arms. ”Every man would be more than lucky to have you, but… I just can't do this right now,” Axl tried to say. Erin just shook her head and started to walk away. ”Whatever, Axl. Fuck off,” she spitted angrily and before Axl could say anything else, she left Axl there standing alone. –  Two days passed, Izzy was still in coma and the tension between Axl and Erin was as bad and awkward as we expected. Atleast, or even worse. They hadn't said even a word to each other after their break up and were avoiding each other the best they could. Which was understandable. I was standing in the hotel's corridor with Axl, the others were somewhere else and we were supposed to meet them soon. The boys had to cancel couple of their concerts because of Izzy and we had to stay here longer than expected, but it was okay. As long as he would recover. Axl put his arms around me and i had mine around his neck. ”You know, now i've told Erin and i'm not sharing my bedroom with anyone anymore so why don't we meet there later at night there,” he whispered in my ear. I just chuckled and kissed him on the lips. ”Maybe,” i said, thinking about it. Axl raised his eyebrows. ”Maybe? Seriously? Is that all i get?” Axl asked, pretending to be offended. ”I've waited for ages and now you say maybe?” ”It hasn't been even a week, you horny fuck,” i laughed and softly punched him on the chest. He smirked at me, cupped my face and took me in a passionate kiss. But soon, suddenly we heard a familiar voice near us. ”Oh my god…” We turned our heads and saw Erin standing near us and looking more shocked and hurt than ever before. She had put her hand over her mouth and just looked at us with wide eyes. ”Oh shit,” i whispered. Axl let go off me and looked at Erin. ”Look, i can explain, please just –” Axl started desperately, but didn't have time to finish since Erin already stormed out downstairs. ”Erin, wait!” Axl yelled, but Erin didn't stop. Axl started running after her and i followed them, though had hard times to keep up near them. Eventually we ended up in the hotel's lounge, where others were sitting on couches. Erin was about to run outside to the rain, but Axl managed to stop her by putting his hand on her shoulder. Erin tried to get his hand off her but then turned around to face us again. ”Erin, just listen, i didn't mean to –” Axl started again, which was completely useless right now. ”Are you fucking serious?!” Erin screamed and others turned their heads to look at us. ”Did you seriously dump me because of her?!” Slash was about to choke on his drink and Duff's mouth fell open. Steven just raised his eyebrows, but he knew this was coming in some point, but thought that we would have decided a better timing for this fight. ”Well no –, i mean, kind of yeah but...” Axl tried to stutter nervously. ”I'm so so sorry i came between you two like this, i'm really sorry,” i said but Erin didn't want to hear any explanations from me at the moment. ”I can't believe what kind of fuckin slut you actually are,” she spitted angrily and i raised my eyebrows. ”Everything was perfectly fine when you were gone, but no. You just had to break up with Jon and come here to seduce Axl away from me! How long has this been going on?” ”Excuse me?” i said offended and narrowed my eyes. ”Hey, don't you even dare to call her some fuckin slut, okay!” Axl yelled, raising his voice and pointed at Erin with his finger. Erin gasped and her eyes widened. The others had come to stand closer to us, confused as fuck, but didn't dare to say anything. ”You don't know?” she gasped, but started to smile amused. Both of us, me and Axl, just narrowed our eyes. ”Because i'm not sure anymore who Amy is fucking and when, i was quite sure that she had a real thing with Duff, but kept it as a secret,” she told us and Duff almost choked on his vodka. Oh no, i thought. This isn't good. ”What the fuck are you talking about? We're just friends,” Duff asked awkwardly and laughed very nervously, shrugging. Erin looked at me and then Duff. She just shook her head and chuckled. ”It sure didn't look like it the night Amy came back,” Erin said. Axl furrowed his eyebrows and looked at me and Duff, i could already see the fire in his eyes that was starting to rise. ”Yeah, what are you talking about?” Axl asked, confused. Erin was enjoying this way too much. ”Do you want to tell this yourself or i tell?” she asked me and Duff politely, but when she didn't get an answer immediately she decided to continue. ”This, is how and what happened.” Erin's POV Amy had suddenly come back tonight, we had been hanging out at the bar together with everyone else. I left the bar with Axl, but a while ago i went outside for a while and now i was walking in the corridor, going back to my room. Soon i heard familiar voices near me, a man and a woman, the elevator had brought them up here. Duff came behind the corner with Amy, they were laughing and giggling and i noticed they were high as fuck. They hadn't noticed me and i stayed there, watching the situation, i should walk past them to get to my room. They stopped walking and Duff cupped Amy's face and kissed her which made me widen my eyes. I put my hand on my mouth when Duff put his hands around her waist, pulling Amy closer to him, Amy had her arms around Duff's neck. Duff pushed Amy against the wall with his body, starting to suck her neck. ”We should–” Amy started, but a deep moan came out of her mouth. ”We should, uhm, continue to your room. Someone might see us,” she said quietly, but unfortunately i was close enough to hear what they were talking about. Please go, so i can go to sleep, i thought. ”Where's your keys?” Duff moved his gaze from Amy's boobs to her eyes. ”In my underwear,” he told her, smirking. She just rolled her eyes and giggled. ”Yeah, that's right, start searching,” Duff stated, still grinning and squeezed Amy's ass. Amy took the key from Duff's pocket. ”I'm not high enough to believe that you'd actually keep a hotel's key with your erection in your boxers,” she stated seriously. ”Although, i never know with you,” Amy continued, somehow a bit disgusted even. Duff rolled his eyes and shook his head, but then started to smile again. ”There could be something else though.” Amy opened the door and turned back to Duff. ”Well, boxers are usually the right place where you're hiding your cock if you have one,” she told him seriously. But then Amy touched her back. ”When did you unhook my bra?” she asked confused. ”I have my ways,” he said to her and kissed her again, stuffing his tongue in her mouth and soon the door was already locked and they had disappeared. I had barely blinked during the whole time and i couldn't believe what i had just witnessed. I walked back to my and Axl's room, closing the door after me. Axl was sitting on the edge of bed and turned to look at me. ”What took you so long?” he asked, but i just shook my head awkwardly. ”Nothing, nothing. I'm pretty tired, i'm just going to sleep.” Amy's POV My heart was beating faster than ever before. Shit. Axl is never going to forgive me. He was clenching his fists and didn't say anything, just looking more pissed off than ever before and exactly like he could explode in any second. ”Axl, I –” Duff tried to say, but Axl interrupted him. ”Did you actually just fuck my own girlfriend?” Axl yelled at him with a low voice, starting to approach him. Duff was about to say something, but then felt Axl's hard fist on his face and almost fell on the floor, but Slash managed to catch him on time. Duff winced and held his nose which was starting to bleed, then looking at Axl again. ”Look, man, as far as i know you weren't dating yet a-and it was just one night, i promise nothing more happened, i –” Duff tried to explain, panicking. ”You could fuckin choose any chick there is in the world, but you decide to choose Amy?!” Axl screamed again. Slash, Steven and others didn't say even a word, they were still in shock about what kind of drama there was between the four of us. ”Well, i mean like, you gotta admit she's super hot so who wouldn't want to –” Duff tried to joke around, but got interrupted by Axl's fist again, jokes would probably be the best to leave out of this. ”Axl, stop, okay!” i yelled desperately. I was startled when he turned to look at me and he looked exactly like he could punch me too at the moment so i had to take a step back, though i knew he would never hit me. ”Why the fuck are you fucking my own bandmates?!” Axl screamed, he was more pissed off than ever before. ”Have you been with Slash as well? Izzy?” he started asking. ”Stop, please. It was only one time and we were really drunk, i'm really sorry. But we weren't even together then,” i said, trying to be as calm as possible even though tears were already forming in my eyes. But Axl wasn't listening to anything anymore and left us standing there, going outside and punching the wall with all his strength before kicked the door open.
