Eyes Away

X'rhun Tia/F!WoL (Named)

"Keep your eyes facing away," he commands, turning her head towards the fire with the toe of his boot and holding it there. Its touch is cold, and she shivers underneath it, letting out a soft whimper as her eyes settle upon the flames as their shadows lick the walls. "You are not to look at me, do you understand?" She mewls, and her fingers curl into fists on the floor beside her as a desperate heat floods her system. "Y-Yes." Several moments of silence pass between them. "Tell me," he breathes out, and his voice is soft, quiet. There is a hunger in it that makes her skin pebble all over. "While you waited for me today, so twisted up in your need..." The shoe gives a gentle rock forwards, urging her head further away from where he sits, and Aemyra whimpers again. "What did you think of?"

Alright then, talk about them - 5, 6, 17!

I can only assume this is for Aemyra/X'rhun given your content so xD 5. How would they describe one another? Aemyra would say X'rhun is a tease and a flirt, and absolutely insufferable because of it (but she loves him for it). But he has a huge heart and is incredibly passionate and driven, and he cares, possibly too much.

It's a lot harder for me to imagine what X'rhun might say about her. He'd probably say she cares too much, that she's kind hearted and passionate as well. That she takes the burden of others onto her shoulders so readily that it worries him sometimes, but that's what he loves about her. Also that she's very bleary eyed and by god she cries a lot if you let her. 6. What do they love about eachother? I may have inadvertently answered this in 5, oops..

Biggest thing is, and the reason they were so drawn to eachother, is their motive to render aid to those who need it. To *coughs* champion the weak with heart and steel. Okay maybe less so for her, but their empathy and desire to help those who need it is the biggest reason they wound up together. Outside of that honestly it all kind of comes back to that. They've both been through a lot, they're both empathetic to a fault, and selfless. They both care for the other, and other people as well.. Those are the things they tend to love about one another. 17. Describe or write a really fluffy scene.

With the renovations going on and absolutely butchering what limited energy I have right now (god dammit why couldn't you delay the noise making into the afternoon instead of doing it in the morning and falling quiet ;_;) I do not feasibly have it in me to actually write anything..

So Ill describe one, but CW for drink sharing via mouth bc I know that's not always seen as cute.

My fluffy scene of choice is Aemyra showing curiosity about the whiskey X'rhun drinks for once, maybe commenting in idleness that it always smells like pain and him chuckling and encouraging her to have a taste. Maybe she's hesitant and he's like "I bet I know how I could make the offer ~sweeter~", and so he starts kissing her and then pins her to the couch amidst said kisses before taking the tiniest bit into his mouth and using the next kiss to slip it between her lips and chuckling when she yelps and makes a sour face at the taste + burn.

hello i am perceiving this ask meme i wish to know 8, 12, and 16 for x'rhun and aemyra if you are so inclined!

OKAY IM EXHAUSTED BUT IM FINALLY ANSWERING THIS 8. What are some differences between them? The biggest difference off the top of my head is I think that X'rhun has more of a vengeful streak than her, and that his actions are sometimes more driven by the desire to avenge others than to end cruelty ere it continue, but that's quite handwavey and they're both very human and succeptible to acting more on their emotions than values. Outside of that, probably their willingness to socialise. God knows X'rhun is well known and has connections across the realm, but while she does too she only has them because she's tied to the Scions and her title. She's quite socially reserved if left to her own devices. 12. What would happen if they never met? -crying- I honestly never considered this bc I built up her lore for everything post ShB quite a bit only after I realised I wanted to ship w the red cat man, but askjd;a. She'd probably go straight to learning black magic, as I had initially intended for her to.. Aymeric would likely have been the one to help her come to terms with things. No doubt she'd end up still with G'raha in EW (with their relationship being a little less intimate I think, since she wouldn't have been with a Seeker then) but I suspect her primary partner would have continued to be Aymeric if she'd never met X'rhun, and the gradual way she drifted ever so slightly apart from the Elezen wouldn't have happened. As for her confidence, it's hard to say. Aymeric is a great pillar of strength for her but in truth I'm not sure he could have provided her with the same kind of confidence X'rhun did when she was coming to terms with how much she had changed, and how powerless she had been. I feel she'd have continued to be more timid through Endwalker, though not significantly.

16. aksjd;lakj -stares at the fact most characters Don't Know- Poor G'raha is out here suffering knowing her heart belongs more deeply to another, but he takes every bit he can get and still loves her of course, as she does him, so he does what he can to take it in stride even if it stings to remember it ;w;

Aymeric is probably painfully resigned and maybe to some extent knew this was coming eventually given he can't travel with her, so though they too love one another he is just like. Yeah it is what it is. When she returns to spend some time w him, if it turns into more intimate time, he allows them both to indulge, but the both of them know their relationship is never going to be quite the same as it once was. I haven't really touched upon whether Alisaie knows theyre together - I wrote her seeing them in the tango piece I wrote but I'm still not sure whether that brief glimpse is actually canon bshdkskf, and regardless of whether or not it is I have no idea how she would actually feel about it.

I *can* say most of the Scions probably aren't aware they're together. They know she's with a Seeker, but much less who, even if there are probably rumours floating around that the Warrior of Light is spending time with the Crimson Duelist. The only person who probably knows for certain outside of just "they're probably together but we don't actually know for sure, and they're so secretive about it it's hard to tell" is Momodi, and I think that though she's a gossip she's more of the listening and seeing type than the "I'm going to spread all this information" type.
