no placement is a bad placement in my opinion!! some are harder than others yes, but never bad. with the sun in your 8th house, it really just means you have a deep soul that feels passionately about a lot. you are constantly seeking answers and you are really curious about things that are, for the most part, a mystery. you have a beautiful mind and are a visionary at heart. i think to really begin trusting in yourself, you need to pay attention to the things in life that truly set you on fire, no matter how out of the ordinary they are. when you spend your time doing the things that you love, you'll likely become much more confident in yourself. good luck honey

Oh, thank God. I was afraid to offend you with the pronouns thing. On the other hand, the signs follow patterns you learn to identify when you have been into astrology for a while. I narrow down the options when feeling people's energy as I pay attention to the little quirks the signs are known for and whether they match with the people's the reading is about or not. The cards are associated to signs, planets, and elements, so they're a fundamental key to the interpretation. Say, I pulled The Magician (Mercury ➡️ Gemini and Virgo's ruler), The Star (Acuarius), and The Justice (Libra), this is a lot air energy so somebody here could be any air sign, right? But signs are like siblings, no matter how alike they are, they're their own person and I'll feel strongly drawn to one only. Also, I think picking on someone's dominant sign or element is less tricky than their appearance because I avoid saying things like, "I feel X is Libra Sun, Aries Moon and..." Because there are weaker placements than others, and one's dominant energy could not relate to their sun sign. I, for example, am Cancer sun (my only water placement) and people has told me they thought I was Gemini sun or an Earth dominant. They're not wrong since it can be translated as I'm a Mercury dominant or an air/earth dominant. The funny thing is I got a Gemini stellium in the 10th house (house of Capricorn) and my moon and rising are Earth element. I'm sorry if this is a lot of information to take in, I couldn't come up so early in the morning with another way to say you can't go wrong with the energy because it's mutable and everyone got layers that are expressed by the signs.
