He'd know it's coming up but definitely left it till last minute, due to stress from the band

Absolutely freaks out when the date comes around

Definitely asks the band what to do but everytime 2D gave a suggestion you'd just hear Murdoc snap at him "Shut up face ache! Shit idea!" Even if it was a good idea.

Eventually thinks of an idea and goes stargazing with you

Holding you close to him as he leaves light kisses on your face telling you how much he loves you and how much you've helped him

Definitely going back to Kong studios and staying in his winnebago for the night

2D/Stuart pot:

He thought Valentine's Day was in March. Until noodle and Russel have to tell him actually February 14th.

He's so lost on what to get you like literally searching what you would like and what to do for you to show he loves you

He ended getting your favourite chocolates and flowers and taking you out to a restaurant

He ends up looking like 13 year old on a first date 😹

It's very cute though because he's tried for you

If you do something for him as well he'd melt literally won't let you go for the whole night and next morning

Ace:

Literally asks the gang what to do and they give him the most stupid responses. "I don't understand you guys sometimes" he'll respond after hearing their suggestions that was "Shoplifting at a gas station" or "take em to the dump"

He ends up getting you flowers and a ride on his motorcycle (HEAVY HC THAT HE HAS ONE LIKE THE LEATHER JACKET AND MOTORCYCLE 🛐🛐🛐)

Just loving how close you are to him how you're holding onto him

Like you can't look at me and tell me this man doesn't like seeing the sunset on his motorcycle honestly his favourite thing

You both end up at a beach as you and him walk across the peer (like an old couple 🤭) just loving the sunset as he has his arm wrapped around your waist

You both end up back at your place.

•Your periods tend to sync.

•Which means, cuddling in bed, holding each other while crying because of your pains.

•She will ask her band mates to get anything you two could possibly need, oh and a mountain of chocolate.

•He's not grossed out, just confused.

•Bleeding for that long without dying shouldn't be physically possible.

•He may not understand it but he's more than willing to help you though it.

•He will run you hot baths and put candles all around it, he might even put some rose petals in the water.

•He makes sure you feel loved.

•If you ask for something, he's gone, and he's not coming back until he has exactly what you asked for.

•He gets scared when you get cramps, he still only has the bare minimum of knowledge, and seeing you toss and turn in pain freaks him out.

RANDOM GANGREEN GANG HEADCANONS

Snake would kill someone for even the smallest bag of sour candy. God FORBID he spots a child with sour gummy worms. You better bet that after touching all the fruit with his slithery fingers, he’s gonna be after the sour candy.

Grubber is non-verbal. I don’t need to explain

Arturo and Billy are rarely apart, and Billy helps Arturo reach high places. If they’re at a concert Billy will hold Arturo up so he can see and whoever’s behind them will have to deal with it.

Ace thinks anyone dies if he hasn’t seen them in over 24 hours. Oh snake just left for a bit?? Ace is already planning a funeral.

Snake doesn’t get much sleep at night, and the gang tries their very best to be quiet when he’s napping during the day. God FORBID he accidentally wakes up, because then they’d have to deal with a tired and grumpy snake.

Grubber is the smartest one and the only one who can drive.

Snake goes through a new phase every week and physically cannot stay away from the box dye. The longest his hair has been a single color was at most a week. Once he dyed it pink and thought it actually looked good.

What are some gorillaz headcannons?

Oh hell yeah

- 2D and Noodle have teenage girl sleepovers/spa days, where they’ll like paint nails, do each other’s hair, wear face masks, etc- and just gossip

- Noodle and Ace play Minecraft together regularly, especially since Ace moved out

- 2D has collections of little trinkets- rocks, bottle caps, pins, he’s like a little crow and keeps anything shiny

- 2D knows the secret to the perfect mascara (based on pink phantom video)

- Aside from Zombie Movies, 2D also watches Nightmare Before Christmas, Corpse Bride, Hocus Pocus, and Coraline religiously

- Murdoc sometimes steals 2D or Noodles eyeliner to make him look Extra Goth™️

- Murdoc likes to act super tough but his alarm sound is set to Miley Cyrus’ Party in the USA. He also Rickrolls everyone at every chance he gets

- Murdoc can actually bake really well, specifically various cakes, although the doesn’t do it often

- Murdoc and Ace originally were rivals, but after Murdoc got out of jail him and Ace had a brotp- in the sense of they bully each other in like a friendly, sibling way

- Russel absolutely loves Disney movies, and regularly watches them with Noodle. His favorites include Turning Red, The Little Mermaid, and The Princess and the Frog

- Russel goes to bed earliest and wakes up earliest, he likes to make breakfast for everyone

- Russ has photos of him and Del scattered around, and his phone lockscreen is one of them

- Russ likes watching fashion shows, looking at designer shoes and bags, and occasionally making his own designs when he has free time

- Russ was always the main father figure for Noodle, 2D was like an older brother, and Murdoc was the insane uncle/brother.

I'm so glad you liked the inclusion Snake carrying the bag! Most of the time, Ace makes the boys carry reader's things or the boys do it themselves willingly. I've always loved the trope of a soft/good/sweet reader with people who are on the tougher or eviler side of the spectrum. I can imagine the boys being forced to/willingly help the reader, like losing purposfully at a video game to them. Also Ace tries rly hard to impress, not even a question. He's the type of boyfriend to casually lean on the counter with a smug smile as he wins you the stuffed animal at the fair. (He wins. No carnie would ever mess with him if he has big billy behind him.)

If Ace wins me a Djungelskog, I will look the other way the next time he commits a crime.

the potential of ace copular in gorillaz always haunts me. like the now now is a very fun phase to think about already because of how the dynamic shift affected everyone ESPECIALLY 2d but then you have the added layer of all things ace got up to with that band.

russel being wary of ace at first but then they talk about growing up in new york (he’s an actor with a new york accent but even if he was actually from townsville, it’s based off of new york so close enough) and they become genuine friends. noodle telling ace stories about life before and kind of giving her a new perspective on how she grew up and how she feels about her family. 2d and ace not getting along at first that well but then ace shows 2d something he wrote for teh album and wants feedback on it and 2d is taken aback cause he’s not used to it and they bond over their love of music.

and like imagine ace and noodle pulling childish pranks on russ and 2d, ace fumbling interviews but it’s Okay cause he looks super cool doing it, him agreeing to drive the band somewhere and nearly crashing the car 26 times on a 7 minute drive, calling the gangreen gang to show them updates on life with gorillaz by stuffing his phone in everyone’s faces, comforting silence in smoke breaks with 2d after practice where they just ask each other dumb questions, ace hearing all the paranormal stuff they deal with and just being like “okay yeah that checks out”, beach outings where ace doesn’t tell anyone he’s scared of water until they get there and just buries himself in sand as far from the ocean as possible, ace creating a wreck of the kitchen trying to make a breakfast out of appreciation and russel freaking out because how the fuck did he Burn the Sink, ace being the only one to smile during visits to murdoc in prison cause ace and him seem to have had a solid friendship, noodle and ace going on secret club outings and covering him jn a shitty disguise that somehow they believe work etc etc.

Concept.

Snake and Hazel decide to get hitched. Big weddings are for rich nerds so they just head to Vegas to get married by an Elvis impersonator. They tell the gang everyones invited. They all say they’ll be there.

The day arrives, they get to the shitty little wedding chapel, everyone shows up except for Ace. Snake is disappointed but decides not to wait around for him.

Finally, they’re at the altar. The Elvis impersonator arrives and says “So uhhhhh Snake, buddy, you’s gonna take old whatsername ta be yer lawfully wedded wife or sumthin’?” Ace is the one in the Elvis costume.

One of my personal headcanons about Ace and Snake:

While most of the abuse Ace experienced as a child was physical, I think the abuse Snake dealt with was (mostly) verbal and emotional. 

Now, I don’t think Snake’s oh-so-wonderful father was above smacking his son around from time to time when he was particularly angry, but for the most part he’d just make sure he knew that he thought he was worthless as much as possible. If he did any little thing wrong, he’d call him a failure, leave him at home whenever the rest of the family went on vacation or out to dinner, or give him the silent treatment for weeks (or even months) on end. 

As a result of this, he grew up incredibly insecure and immediately attached himself to anyone who gave him even a little bit of positive attention. Ace, meanwhile, was made angry and hateful from his childhood experiences, but also very charismatic and good at talking himself out of trouble. So when they met, there was this almost immediate draw towards one another. Ace looked at Snake and saw an easy target for manipulation, but in the process did come to genuinely care about him due to their similar life experiences. Snake meanwhile, saw this cool, slightly older boy who was actually asking to hang out with him and be his friend, and even if he sometimes did things that went against his moral compass and wasn’t always very nice, he was almost always willing to go along with it. He fell for his charm, hook line and sinker.

The Gangreen Gang totally snuck into a Gorillaz concert when they came to Townsville.

They probably snuck in so often that the band knew them on sight and by name before too long. There were even a few times they made it backstage before being kicked out by security. There was one time where Ace managed to give Murdoc a demo tape of the Gangreen Gang’s music. Murdoc threw it away nearly immediately, but 2-D felt bad and decided to rescue it from the trash and gave it a listen. He liked it enough that he decided to show it to everyone else. Murdoc will never admit it, but he was glad 2-D rescued the tape. He takes credit for discovering Ace and Co.’s talent, but everyone knows that it was really 2-D.
