You didn’t know how many times you had sighed this day. Firstly was when your twins begged you to let them go to the corals, you obviously said no, but when they gave you those huge teary eyes, you kept saying no, but then they went to ask their dad and well, he said yes but with the condition that someone from his most trusted people would keep an eye at them. You did sighed at that moment, knowing completely that one, your husband is a sucked for your children and two, that they already had asked Attuma for help.

The second time you sighed was when Attuma came to your home with a huge smile, you stared at him from the side, watching him as he began tossing the twins in the air, you knew at that moment that they would do something you ended up hating in the end.

Namor simple laughed at the sour look on your face, kissing you softly as his hands caressed the bump that was already forming on your stomach. “Do not worry, in yakunaj.” He had said. “Attuma will keep them safe.”

“It is not Attuma who I am worried about.” You let him wrapped his arms around you and kept you in closer. “Is the possibility that the twins and Attuma will do something mischievous.”

“That is a new word.” He caressed your hips, his thumb rubbing circles on your skin. “Where did you learn it?”

“Wouldn’t you like to know.” You whispered against his lips.

And you where correct, because the moment the three of them had returned from the corals and entered your home, you couldn’t help but stare at their hands. Your eyes closed automatically and a tired sighed already escaped you from your form. “No.” You simply said.

“But mom, look how adorable he is! Attuma took us to the deepest shadows to get them!” Abira, your daughter exclaimed. “He said they only eat flesh from the surface-dwellers or the ones that live in Wakanda!” Her face broke into a huge smile. “Atumma, tell her!” She huffed as she turned to look at her nanny.

Attuma just simple crossed his arms behind his back, adverting his eyes because, let’s face it, he was terrified of you more than he was terrified of Namor. Yep, he screwed up.

“Yes and we have two of them, so we do not need to share or fight!” Now it was the turn of Argo, your son to explained. “Dad will love them, they have a huge light on their heads and their teeth are horrible and they are smelly and...and...sticky.”

“No.” You crossed your arms, staring at the ugly angler fish on their hands. “No.”

“But mooom.” They objected.

“No.” You stood up, your eyes looking at Namor who was getting out of the waters. Your stare made him nervous. “Come.” You ordered.

Namor made his way inside, kissing both of the heads of his twins and going to greet you with a kiss. You put your hand in his chest, pushing him away. “Fix. This.” You grunted.

“Fix?” Namor questioned you confused. You simply pointed at the fish on your twins hands. They smiled nervously at their father.

“You said to trust Attuma, I did because of your words. But he not only took Abira and Argo to the deepest shadows, he went and got them Angler fishes! Fix. This.” You turned around and went to the waters, not before glaring at Attuma who simply looked at the floor.

Thanks for your quick reply to my previous ask! I do know the scenes you are referring to, I was just wondering whether he rejected her before writers gave them their back story. I was referring to the follwowing ask: "So uhm, i wonder how did namor got so attracted to Emma? I read one of the issue that Namor basically told Emma to stop throwing herself at him and then I saw him basically throw himself at Emma in X-men title." Maybe you know the scene the person mentioned?

You're welcome, and yes I do know the scene you are referring to.

Emma and Namor first shown together in Secret Invasion (2008) #8

However their first meeting with introductions (pre Emma regaining her memories and the flashback in Uncanny X-Men (1963) Annual 2 (2009)) is in Secret Invasion: Dark Reign which was released a month before in December 2008, so Emma never threw herself at Namor nor was she rejected by Namor prior to their past relationship reveal in January 2009.

(I know Namor looks bad here, I know. But the artist apologized later so I try to forget it exists. lol.)

Uncanny X-Men (1963) Annual 2 (2009)

As you see it's Emma who rejected Namor's advances the first two times they met.

The scene you're looking for is in Namor: The First Mutant (2010) #2, set during the Utopia Era, where Alantis was rebuilt under the island the X-Men were on, supporting the pillar/base of the island from sinking into the sea. Emma visits Namor in New Atlantis with Loa, a mutant who sorta becomes Namor's sidekick during this era. So yes, Namor rejects Emma but it's after the Cabal Era.

This line doesn't make sense with literally every other appearance from Namor and Emma's meetings and throughout the Namor's X-Men era, he's smitten with Emma, always paying Emma compliments, trying to seduce her away from Scott. They have always had this sharp playful banter and crazy chemistry together.

However the writer did want to take Namor in a different direction and be romantically involved with their character, the Atlantean Logomancer, Abira, who was the main female romance for this series so I suppose that's why he wrote this, because otherwise it makes no sense when Namor was literally defending Emma's honor in her absence like in Uncanny X-Men (1963) #528.

The Namor/Emma/Scott love triangle has it's cringe moments, but generally I really love and enjoy the Namor and Emma moments. I def have critic of how Emma is written in the First Mutant series, the writer literally refers to her as The Whore to Sue's Madonna, and the whole love triangle in general in X-Men comics, because Marvel likes to use Namor to stir up romance drama for couples.

Well, Namor and reader have four kids, the twins (Argo and Abira), then they had a baby boy and a baby girl (both of them unamed, because they will be part of another fic)

I’m quite curious, how many children does Comic Namor even have? I read from the Marvel Wiki that he’s got four, but I’m not actually sure of the number since he’s also got children from other continuities.

I’m only asking because MCU Namor calls every Talokanil his child, but considering he’s over 400 years old, I wonder if the MCU actually gives this Namor a biological child/children.

I highly doubt the mcu will give Namor a biological child but I could be wrong. However the way the MCU handles kids of heroes isn't the best, I think only Ant Man's daughter has any actual characterization and isn't like a cameo thing. Tbh I see him saying "child" to every Talokanil as a sorta Leader figure, like, idk how a priest says "child" to people? but for their specific culture.

Comic!Namor from the 616 only had two biological sons within his continuity, not counting AU kids, Event Kids, Future kids. So only sons who actually showed up in the present time.

Kamar - Namor's son from an unnamed Atlantean noblewoman who was murdered. Namor sends the son off into hiding for fear he would be a target next. He appears only during the Sub-Mariner (2007) 6 issue mini series. Namor orders his death for his actions of killing innocents in his war against his father.

And the son of Namor/Abira - He travels from the future to the past to make sure his parents don't choose each other over Atlantis in order to ensure Atlantis's survival. He appears only in Namor: The First Mutant (2010) series. Abira chooses to break up with Namor and become a Logomancer to save Atlantis, and their son ceases to exist.

So both of his sons are dead/never existed in the 616. As I said before Namor has many, so freaking many, a whole freaking lot of AU kids. Maybe someday I will do a list of them whenever I have a free time and energy for it.

The subject of Namor's fertility was a plot point in the 90s, where it was canon he was sterile for a long while until Kamar came around and everyone just ignored that. In the wiki it says "three unnamed children with Marrina" those are The Leviathan Children, they are all dead now, and it was retconned by the 90s they were not Namor/Marrina's kids. I would need to do a longer post to talk about Namor being sterile and those kids because it ties into issues from the 80s comics with Marrina.

• I did have an oc with red hair like once a while ago, she worked for a lab that gave people superpowers. I dont remeber anything else about her. One of my current ocs, though, is a shapeshifter and often goes in the form of someone that has streaks of ginger in his hair.

• yes! Their name is Zicha, they are a grasslander which is a human-like species with tails.

• oldest is probably the shapeshifter i mentioned before who is a few thousend years old, though likes appearing rather young (or some of the gods in that world but they dont count) . The youngest is Zicha at 14 and a half.

• Um from my current ocs there is the name "Paiahrin Mahej", from older ocs some of my faves are Angelin O'Brien (i tagged her stuff with 'where the bad things are') since she's a really old one, and Abira Begum and Mark Nimoy (third pace) also there was an oc I named "Twigst" he was fun.

• uhhhhhh Zicha's favourite food is a fantasy version of a georgian snack I kind of hate but also love called "churchkhela". (Finding how to spell it in english was hell btw since it is spelled very similar to not one but apperently TWO slurs in hebrew. Thats what you get for having 'צ in a word i guess)

• Uhhhh the main character in the current story's best friens likes red. Hes also ambidixrous fun fact.

• Zicha's familiy likes traditional grasslander music and a strange human genre of music by the name of "funk rock?"
