⭑ Sent down to earth with the rest of the group, only for a petty crime of trying to feed your sick mother. You had stolen someone else’s rations and a fight broke out.
⭑ Being in the ship’s cell had hardened you somewhat, but you were able to talk to Clarke who was next door to you.
⭑ The day you landed on earth, was the day that everything changed.
⭑ You were no longer safe.
⭑ And so you stood behind those with loud mouths and bravado. John Murphy was the best option, and soon Bellamy was the camp leader.
⭑ You didn’t like the others on earth, but you did take a liking to Clarke, Octavia, Wells, Jasper, and Monty.
⭑ Slowly you became part of Clarke’s crew -
⭑ And Bellamy seemed like such a big arch-nemesis at the time
⭑ But over time you learned to trust each other, because you had no other choice. And when you saw that changed in Bellamy, something in you shifted.
⭑ As a significant other, Bellamy is very protective but also very caring.
⭑ He wants to make sure that you feel comfortable and safe at all times.
⭑ He can get a bit jealous, but not overly. He isn’t possessive either.
⭑ Bellamy loves cuddling. And he’s very good to cuddle as well. There’s no greater feeling than having his arms wrapped around you. Nowhere else do you feel this safe.
⭑ Before doing anything dangerous, Bellamy cups your face in his hands and rubs his lips over your lips. And like a promise, he tells you he loves you and kisses you so deeply.
⭑ When you’re alone together, you talk about the future and what you want. If you want kids, where you’d want to live etc. If you think of something midday, you’ll try and find each other to add it to the list. E.g., “I want a flower garden” or “I changed my mind I want to live by a lake” etc.
⭑ He always makes sure that you’ve eaten, and if you’re hungry he’ll get you whatever you want (or whatever is closest to it).
⭑ You share a room/tent (I mean it changes doesn’t it!) And he has minimal possessions, I mean everyone does now. But you have your little knick-knacks that you’ve created, little gifts from friends.
⭑ The moment Bellamy fell fully in love with you, was when you had found a few of his favourite books.
⭑ He doesn’t mind PDA. Bellamy will wait for you to sit next to him so he can hold you against his chest.
⭑ He would really appreciate you listening to him when he opens up. Not a lot of people know a lot about Bellamy’s interests, hobbies, likes, and dislikes.
⭑ He would want to marry you, or if that wasn’t possible, he would want to commit to you as much as possible.
⭑ You do worry about him a lot. It’s in his nature to protect, defend and lead. He raised Octavia, so it’s ingrained in him to be the first to react and step up.
⭑ He gets surprised when you remember things about him. Especially memories and other people in his life that are long gone
⭑ Bellamy teaches you skills, he doesn’t want you to have to rely on anyone.
⭑ Doesn’t like it when other people look at you with lust in their eyes. He will move closer to you, but not be too obvious

We’ve all been through so much that it’s hard to recognize hope, even when it’s right in front of us.

Homesick - THE 100 REWRITE Chapter Twelve
[THE 100 MASTERLIST]
Previous Chapter / Next Chapter
Summary: When people from the Ark arrived, the 100 thought they’d have help but Michelle, Bellamy and the others quickly found out that it wouldn’t go their way. Councilman Kane was back in command as Jaha seemingly didn’t make the trip and along that, Michelle would have to process some hard news, harder than the one of her mother’s passing and it left her conflicted and with a need to rebel in the face of authority, which was Kane.
Words: 4.5k
Warnings: The 100 season 2 spoilers (specifically episode 1 “The 48″ and 2 “Inclement Weather”), grief, crying, some fluff, hatred, injuries, blood (very little)
Michelle followed Kane, Abby and Sinclair through the woods, silent. She was lost in her thoughts, her eyes red from crying. Her hatred for Kane just kept growing with every step she took after him as she stared at the ground. Her mother was gone, and at the moment she blamed it entirely on the councilman. He was responsible for her solitary confinement for a whole year. He knew what would happen to her when she turned 18. She would die and he would let her mother watch. She not only hated him, but she also despised him from the bottom of her heart. She had no regard for him whatsoever and he could die, and she wouldn’t even lift a finger. She wasn’t a monster. She wouldn’t enjoy it, but she would watch until the last ounce of life left his eyes and his body rested cold. It had been gut wrenching to see Clarke and Abby witness Jake being floated and Kane would have inflicted that upon the girls’ mothers no matter what. She was going to make his life a living hell, to show him her loathing for him.
She had cried and yelled so much that she had not much energy left in her body, and she looked drained and exhausted. She didn’t even think of the wound to her hand anymore. The pain she felt from the loss of her mother had taken the upper hand over her physical injuries. She raised her eyes and glanced at Abby when the latter stretched her arm in front of her, stopping her in her tracks. The teenager looked around and watched Kane clinging onto his gun as he aimed at something from afar, hidden behind low trees, along with a few people of the Ark, also armed. Michelle looked away, exhaling heavily as she brought her hand to her face to wipe tears that ran down her eyes and she closed them, taking a deep breath and waited. Abby was squeezing her shoulder, rubbing her back with her fingers. After a minute, a man whistled and she opened her eyes, sighing. It was only then that the rest of the people from the Ark, Abby, Michelle and Sinclair included, joined them once it was clear. Michelle stopped in her tracks and observed the premises with a straight face while Abby, followed by another woman, rushed to Bellamy as he was getting back on his feet. His face was covered in blood, and this reminded the girl of Murphy, and he came into her mind for an instant. She hoped he was okay, or at least, alive.
“Don’t stand.” He brushed her concerns off and Bellamy spoke in sharp voice.
“We need to get back to the dropship.”
“Hey.” She grabbed Finn’s arm when the boys were about to walk away. “Where’s Clarke? Michelle didn’t say anything. Is she all right?”
“She was when we left.” He breathed out, glancing over at Michelle at the mention of her. “We’ll take you to her.”
“Wait. Slow down. Sinclair, we’re splitting up.” After putting on hold the teenagers already ready to go on their own, he walked up to the mechanic and as he passed by Michelle, the latter followed him with her eyes, full of contempt. She had still enough energy to hate on him. “One guard detail comes with me to the dropship.”
“Michelle.” She turned her head to Bellamy when he called out to her, softly and she just looked at him. She was near the group waiting for Kane as he gave his instructions to Sinclair. There was no way she wasn’t going with them to the dropship to find her friend, even though she didn’t remember seeing the blonde when she woke up. She could only hope., if she had any left after it was crushed by the news of her mother’s death. “Are you okay?”
“Are you?” She returned the question in a monotonous tone, not wanting to answer. She looked at Kane when he finally walked over to them, all set to go.
“You six with me. You two, lead the way.” He told Bellamy and Finn.
Tumblr media
As they got near the camp’s ground, the number of corpses pinned to trees or just lying on the ground, covered in blood, kept rising. Michelle wasn’t even fazed by it all.
“It’s too quiet.” Bellamy noticed. He looked around and Kane grabbed his arm when the young man took a step forward.
“We’ll take it from here. Banks. Scanlan. You stay with them. We’ll signal once we’re sure it’s safe.” Michelle wasn’t in the mood to listen to him. She didn’t care if she got killed. She wanted to go because she had been told not to, undirectly. She stepped back, getting behind the two people Kane had asked to stay there and she gave them the slip as she went the opposite way. She knew there was a foxhole leading into the camp nearby and she quickly found it. She squatted and walked through it and stood up once inside the camp’s walls. This hadn’t changed since she woke up. Burned bodies and bones everywhere. She heard Kane and the others arrive to the entrance, but she didn't rush and stepped inside the dropship, lifting the sheet covering the entrance. She took a look. Raven was still passed out to the side and where Michelle had found herself earlier was now Murphy, blood all over him. She was about to walk towards him when Abby and Kane entered, and the councilman didn’t seem pleased to find her there, but he didn’t say anything.
“Help her.” He articulated. Abby then walked over to Raven and Michelle just went to crouch down next to Murphy. She wanted to cup his face in her hands, but she was scared to hurt him, so she observed Abby as she kneeled by Raven’s side, trying to get her to wake up.
“Raven. Raven, honey. It’s Abby.” She smiled in relief when the young woman slightly opened her eyes.
“Clarke’s not here. I don’t know where she is.” Raven said faintly and even though Abby was her back to Michelle, she could feel her heart sink to her stomach.
“What happened to you?” She then asked her quietly.
“Uh…” She glanced at Murphy and Michelle’s gaze went from the girl to him, remembering what Bellamy had told her that he shot Raven, but she didn’t think he blatantly did that. Raven looked back at Abby. I got shot.”
“Let me get him.” Kane cautiously approached Michelle and she gritted her teeth, reluctantly letting him help Murphy up and walking him outside. She stood up and followed them, glancing at Abby and Raven briefly.
“It was awful, it was awful. There were hundreds of them. If it wasn’t for Raven…” He grunted as they stepped off the platform leading into the dropship as he spoke to Kane. Michelle was close by, and she saw Bellamy and Finn standing there in the camp. She thought that they took their time to get through the foxhole. “I don’t know what happened. Bellamy, you’re, uh… you’re alive.”
“Bellamy!” Michelle shouted when as he yelled, Bellamy pushed Murphy and forcefully pinned him to the ground.
“You murdering son of a bitch! This is for Raven!” He punched him twice in the face and Michelle fell to her knees, catching his fist before he threw another one. She widened her mouth, frowning and let out a sharp cry as he forced against her hand, angry as he was in the heat of the moment, and she herself only realized she had used her wounded hand to stop him, but she slipped to the side, her fingers stretched out, trembling and blood slowly soaking in the already dirty dressing. She held her wrist, trying to get the tremors in control. She saw someone walk over to them from the corner of her eyes and in a blink, Bellamy rolled to the side, his mouth wide and she saw the Ark guard holding his electric baton in his hand. She remembered when they had stunned her on the Ark, first when she fought off the guard when they tried to take Clarke away and then when they came to take her out of her cell.
“Place him under arrest.” Kane ordered calmly and she watched a few men pick Bellamy from the ground.
“Wait. No, you don’t understand.” Finn tried to explain to Kane. Michelle stayed quiet because she knew their resentment of Murphy was valid, she knew of the things he had done but she couldn’t let Bellamy just hit him like that. “Murphy murdered two of our people. He shot another one. He tried to hand Bellamy.”
“I don’t care. You are not animals.” Kane retorted. “There are rules. Laws. You are not in control here anymore.” Michelle sat down on the ground and scoffed. This was going to be a fun ride.
“Raven.” Finn breathed out and approached the girl, lying on a makeshift stretcher as she was being carried out by two guards from the Ark. Abby came out of the dropship.
“She’s lost a lot of blood. It’s a miracle that she’s still alive.” In front of his silence, she added; “There’s no one else in there.” She then walked past him and directed the guards. “Come on. Put her down over here.”
Murphy looked up when Kane gave him a hand and helped him up. Michelle stared at the councilman and got on her feet on her own despite the pain in her hand when she leaned on it to stand up. Murphy stumbled, finding his balance and hopped up keeping his left leg off the ground. While Bellamy was being restrained and isolated, his hands tied in his back, Michelle followed Kane as he brought Murphy away to another makeshift stretcher as it was painful to walk and stand for him as well. He then glanced at Michelle and left the two, walking back to the rest of the Ark guards in silence. Abby picked up a sharp piece of metal lying on the ground, and she started to carve something on the dropship’s wall. After she draw a first letter, Michelle already knew it was a message for Clarke if she ever came through here.
“What happened to your hand?” Murphy asked and Michelle drifted her attention from Abby and turned her face towards him before looking down at her bandaged hand. Some new blood had soaked the dressing and it felt a bit sticky, but it was manageable.
“A Grounder slashed it. You know, the usual.” She shrugged and looked around, not really wanting to bring up what happened when she was gone in the forest and he shot Raven, but she wanted to know what happened, really, if it was intentional or an accident. “And you, what happened?”
“Got tortured by the Grounders, but you know, the usual.” She chortled at his answer and contained a smile, looking at her injured hand and she brought a strand of hair that was falling by her face behind her ear.
“You starting to have some experience in this.” She taunted and he smirked.
“Yeah.” He chuckled, tilting his head to the side, looking at Michelle while she observed the blood on her hand. He didn’t say anything else and watched her as she glanced at Kane, a few feet away from them and he could tell there was anger in her eyes, but he couldn’t pinpoint why. She knew this silence he let grow was to let her talk if she wanted to and eventually, she spoke up. She peeked at him and looked back at her hand.
“Someone detonated a bomb on the Ark, on Unity Day.” She started, shoting up her eyebrows and a bitter smile dawning on her tired face. “They wanted to kill Jaha during his speech but, it didn’t work. He wasn’t the one being killed in the end. My… My mom was among the people that got killed and I… I just—" No matter how hard she tried to keep it together, her voice broke, and she looked up at the sky, trying to keep the tears from running down her face and sniffed. Murphy was quiet and as he was sat on the stretcher, he leaned on his hand and sat across it to be next to Michelle. She cleared her throat, blinking to get rid of the tears and she smiled but it faded pretty quickly, and she let her head fall on her knees. He made her come nearer to him and put his arm around her back, resting his forehead on her neck and breathing into her hair for a moment.
“I’m sorry.” He whispered and she let out a shaking sob and he pulled her into a hug, holding her in his arms, his chin over her head as she buried her face into his chest. She couldn’t deny he was a jackass and could a pretty selfish and an immoral asshole at that, but she liked him, and he reciprocated the feeling. She never thought John Murphy could be good at comforting. He could be gentle when he wanted, and he showed it to her.
“Abby, get ready to move out. We gotta get there before dark.” Kane spoke up as he motioned for the Ark guards to pikc up Raven and sent one get Bellamy. Michelle and Murphy broke their embrace, and she wiped her eyes as she had to stand up for the guards to carry the latter in his stretcher. She exhaled and walked by his side. Her eyes met Kane for a second and he stared at her and Murphy but eventually looked away and she gave him a cold gaze while they walked out of the camp. He led the group through the forest, and they walked for a long time before reaching Station Alpha, or where it had crashed really. It was impressive, to see this massive station in the form of a ring, tower them with the sun shining through it. It didn’t feel like home though. Michelle had a very stern face as they stepped inside the new camp and the only thing, she could think of was that she wouldn’t see her mother. She would never see her again and it made her want to cry and scream from the top of her lungs, scream until she died. She already had so much to deal with, her anger for Kane was eating her up. She was afraid because she bottled up her emotions so much, that she would try something stupid, like she already did once in the past.
Tumblr media
Abby entered the room they had set up to take care of the wounded and Murphy lied on one of the beds, resting after Abby just finished taking care of him. “Let him rest a while, when I’m done with Michelle too, you can take them.” Of course, Michelle had slipped, and she had taken her frustration and rage out on guards and threatened them even, so she was to be arrested too once Abby would have taken a look at the cut on her hand. Abby led Michelle to the back of the room, and they sat down while she grabbed some alcohol, a needle and thread, to suture the open wound across her palm. “How did that happen?”
“We were fighting off the Grounders and one got to us, he attacked Bellamy, I tried to do something, and he just hit my hand with his machete, right across it.” She explained, already annoyed. Abby nodded, observing her as she spoke, and she cleaned her hand. Her fingers tensed up as she applied alcohol on the nasty cut and she gritted her teeth, exhaling and looking away.
“You’re lucky it didn’t yet get infected.” Abby noted.
“Clarke took care of me. She helped me keep it clean.” Abby had a soft smile when Michelle spoke of Clarke. She was probably imaginating the two girls care for each other, because they were sisters. Michelle let out a cry when Abby started to sew up her skin and she frowned, trying to keep it together. “Abby…” She glanced at Michelle. “Did my mother ever tell you, like… uh…” Michelle bit the inside of her cheek, looking away. “who’s my father? I mean, you were best friends, and she must have told somebody, right? Cause when I’d ask, she kept changing subjects, just saying he was dead…”
“He isn’t dead.” She replied heavily and Michelle stared at her in shock.
“Then where is he? Who is he? Why didn’t she ever tell me anything about him? Was he, like, an asshole or something?” She spoke with a rapid speech, just voicing every question that came in her mind. She was just so eager to get an answer. She paused and lowered her tone of voice. “Did she ever tell you anything?”
“She did. A long time ago.” Abby nodded. “You’re from a previous relation she had, but they drove apart before she told him she was pregnant with you. When she started to show and then gave birth, maybe he knew deep down, that the baby was his but…” She pursed her lips and shook her head. “She never told him, so he let her alone.”
“Who is he?” She insisted. “She must have told you his name if you know so much about her love life.”
“You might not like my answer, Shelly.” Nobody had called her this in a very long time. Her mother used to call her this when she was a little girl. Abby looked right into her deep and dark brown eyes with concern, but the girl couldn’t understand what this was all about and why she couldn’t just give her a straight response. Michelle rose her eyebrows, inviting Abby to finally say something. “Your father is Marcus.”
“Marcus—” She straightened up, opening her mouth in confusion.
“Marcus Kane. He is your father.” Michelle just froze at the name, and she looked at the floor, trying ot process what she had just told her. She frowned and shook her head. She was having such mixed feelings about this news that she had no idea how to react to it. She had thought all her life about who her father was and she never for one second thought it would end up being Kane, someone she blamed for everything and showed her hatred for. “All right, I’m finished.”
“No.” Michelle mouthed, and she struggled against the guard that came to get her. “He’s not. And he will never be.” Another guard came to get her under control and held her free arm; her hands were restrained with a zip tie band, like Murphy and she reluctantly let them lead her out of the tent, following the guards carrying Murphy out. They had the two teenagers walk down a corridor and a double door was opened for them as they approached the room in which they were to be kept. Inside, Kane was sitting on a chair, his back to the door, facing Bellamy. He slightly turned to them when they entered along the guards and Michelle couldn’t take her confused gaze off him.
“What’s he doing here?” Bellamy stood up as soon as he saw Murphy’s face.
“Excuse me, sir. Dr. Griffin cleared Mr. Murphy and Ms. Cartwig out of medical.” The female guard declared. Kane stood up in turn and pulled the chair to the side.
“Put him over there, Major Byrne. And Ms. Cartwig, on the other side.” He instructed and she brought Murphy into the room and Murphy looked down for a second, smirking and then stared at Bellamy who wasn’t really happy about some alone time with Murphy and his girlfriend. Bellamy, Murphy and Michelle were all tied to the grid on each wall of the room with a thicker wire than what Murphy and her already had tying their wrists together and Kane observed. He noticed Michelle’s insistent look, but he almost didn’t dare meet her gaze more than a few seconds at a time. It was only then that she started wondering if he knew. If he knew, he was hiding it well. She wondered if he even cared and if he felt bad for what he had done to her.
“Well, this should be fun.” Murphy exclaimed sarcasticly, with a straight face as he looked at Bellamy. The latter let out a faint gasp when they heard gunshots and people yelling outside, all of sudden.
“Let’s go.” Kane ordered and they ran out of the room. Michelle sighed and closing her eyes and swallowing harshly, she let her head fall against the wall. She could only handle so much, and this was starting to get a lot to cope with.
Tumblr media
Michelle opened her eyes with a start when she heard a high-pitched scream from afar, followed by more constant screaming of utter pain and she knew it was Raven being operated on by Abby. She sighed and rolled her head against the wall, glancing at the closed door. She eventually straightened up and tried to pull on her restraints, frowning, but she knew it was pointless and she just gave Bellamy a sidelong look when she felt his gaze on her. Maybe he was wondering what had gotten into her lately, why she had cried and why she seemed so angry ever since they had seen each other in the woods. Murphy exhaled and tapped his ties with his fingers, in boredom.
“Yeah, that was me at the Grounder camp. I did everything I could not to scream, but eventually—”
“But eventually, you broke, and you told them everything.” He cut him off and Murphy smirked, looking at Bellamy.
“And you wouldn’t have, because you’re better.”
“Damn right.” He assured, staring in the void. Michelle watched him and just like Murphy did, she knew it was bullshit. Anybody would scream to death if they were being tortured. She had screamed when hurting her back. She also screamed when a Grounder slashed the palm of her hand and cried out when Bellamy, who wanted to punch Murphy so much, he forced against her hand and hurt her. “I’m not a traitor. I didn’t tell them where they could find us.”
“And I did.” Bellamy finally looked at Murphy and the latter noded, admitting something he did wrong. “Yeah, I did. After they tortured me in their prison camp for three days.” Bellamy swallowed and looked away. “But go ahead. You just keep believing… even if you are in here, just like me and Michelle.”
“Why are you even here?” Bellamy picked up on the mention of Michelle and frowned, glancing at her and she smirked.
“Well, I believe I attacked a guard, and oh, yes, I threatened them also.”
“Looks like assaulting guards is your specialty.” He observed and she laughed sharply, nodding.
“That’s right.” She then mumbled under her breath, peeking over at the door. Kane wouldn’t get away with getting her mother killed so easily. She didn’t care that he was her father, this meant nothing for her. She didn’t have a father. It was certainly not going to be a man she hated.
Tumblr media
As she rested her face against the wall and closed her eyes, Michelle was finally about to fall asleep when the doors to the room they were kept in opened out of the blue and she woke up with a start, a little disoriented for a second. It took her some blinking to realize there was Finn in the room, kneeling in front of Bellamy with a bag in his hands. Monroe stood by the door and watched the corridor in case anyone came this way.
“Get up. We’re going after them.”
“It’s about time.” Finn cut Bellamy’s ties with a pair of wire-cutters. Michelle frowned when they got on their feet, but Finn didn’t come her way to cut her restraints and Murphy voiced their worry to be left behind.
“Whoa, hey, oh, wait. What about us?” Finn and Bellamy exchanged a glance and spacewalker shook his head lightly. Bellamy clenched his jaw and picked up the wire-cutters and turned around, freeing Michelle’s hands. She rubbed her wrists and stood up, now going towards Murphy.
“Wait, no. What are you doing?” Finn stopped him, thinking he was going to bash Murphy’s head in or something, but he just cut the wire tying him to the wall, keeping his hands attached to keep him under control and he put the shears on the floor.
“He’s coming with us.” Bellamy declared.
“No way.” Finn wasn’t in on it.
“He’s been to the Grounder camp.” Bellamy grabbed him by the shoulders and had him stand up.
“He’s right. Okay? I can take you there.” Murphy promised. Michelle walked past Finn and came next to John.
“Hey, Sterling just signaled. Someone’s coming.” Monroe warned. Michelle tried to get her hands on Murphy’s arm, but Bellamy forcefully led him out of the room, forcefully holding the latter by the collar of his jacket. They silently rushed out of Station Alpha and sneaked out of camp avoiding the guards.
“You don’t think anyone saw us?” Bellamy wondered after they got a few dozen of feet away, heading towards the forest.
“Shh. Keep it down.” Finn whispered, walking at the head of the group. They then sped up a little and got into the woods until suddenly, they stopped in their tracks, briefly narrowing their eyes when the beam of a flashlight passed over their faces. An Ark guard, stood in front of them but didn’t say anything for a few seconds and then, Abby approached, and Michelle relaxed.
“You’re late.” She spoke.
“Bellamy decided to bring company.” Finn informed, tilting his head towards Murphy as he looked at the doctor.
“He’s the only person that’s been in their camp.” Bellamy   added. Abby’s silence wasn’t reproachful. She handed a couple of guns to Finn.
“Here. Find my son.” The guard requested and he gave a weapon to Bellamy, who didn’t let go off Murphy. “His name is Nathan Miller.”
“Bring them home.” Abby said. Finn walked past her and Miller’s dad, followed by the rest of them but when Michelle came near Abby, she looked at her, keeping an eye on her peers.
“Does he know?” She muttered.
“Your mother told him before she died.” Michelle looked away and nodded as she jogged to keep up with the others. So, he knew. She had still a hard time figuring out what it meant to her. She wanted to cry. She wanted to scream but she just walked by Murphy’s side as he was dragged along by Bellamy’s grip on his jacket and arm, and she could only think of what Abby had disclosed to her. Marcus Kane was her dad, and it was kind of a hard pill to swallow, after everything. She missed home. She missed her mom, and she could only blame him for it.

Bloom walked into her brother's bedroom to see a shirtless Sky and her brother in between his legs. The fairy of the dragon flame blushed as she covered her eyes. "Y/N!" She gasped in surprise. "If you're going to do that. Please, close the door and lock it."
Y/N looks up at her and looks surprised. "What? I'm just examining him."
"Yeah, I can see that."
He rolled his eyes. "I mean, Sky has a gash on his side. I was just examining it so I could clean it up and heal him." He turned Sky's body to the side so Bloom could see it. It was indeed a nasty cut. All red and big "What happened?"
Sky looks at her. "Ummm... Ogre mishap. Threw me against a sharp tree branch."
"I see." Bloom said. "So, this wasn't some sort of phallic worshipping?"
"Oh my God! No!" Y/N blushed.
Sky chuckled.
