Insights Ayat 12

Di ayat sebelumnya, kita dah belajar tentang ciri-ciri orang beriman. Nah sekarang.. Allah ngebawa kita flashback ke ‘siapa kita yang dulu’..

وَلَقَدْ خَلَقْنَا الْإِنسَانَ مِن سُلَالَةٍ مِّن طِينٍ Dan sungguh, Kami telah menciptakan manusia dari saripati (berasal) dari tanah.

Kata سُلَالَةٍ  berasal dari kata kerja salla yang artinya mencabut pedang dari sarungnya. Yaa kurang lebih, mengeluarkan esensi dari sesuatu dengan menariknya keluar, memerasnya, dsb.  Nah jadi di ayat ini, Allah ngambil saripati/ mengekstraksi nutrisi terbaik (ٌسَلَلَة) dari tanah liat (طِينٍ ) untuk menciptakan manusia. #wow😯 Kok bisa yaaa?

Iyaa.. makanya ada yang bilang manusia itu putra tanah 👉🏻 karena ternyata semua di dalam dirinya mengandung unsur tanah; adem, dingin, relaxed, balance (38:72). Sesuai banget sama sifat alamiahnya manusia. Plus, kalo kita meninggal ajaa.. kita dibalikinnya ke tempat kita semula kan? Ke tanah? Iya.. biar diri kita mengurai ke unsur semula kita.🥺

Tentunya beda dengan iblis nih, yang terbuat dari api. 🔥 Api kan sifatnya panas, membakar, menghancurkan. Ya persis laaaa ky sifat alaminya iblis. Mereka itu panas (bawaannya iri, hasad, dengki, dll). Seperti halnya api yang cuma bisa eksis kalo lagi ngancurin sesuatu, iblis juga akan eksis ketika mereka lagi ngancurin manusia. 😖

Anyway, ngomongin tanah, sebenernya tanah itu keren banget tauuu!!!! Darinya bisa menghasilkan kehidupan. 👉🏻 Well, maksudnya ngasilin kehidupan bukan berarti kita yang bs beranak, tapi lihat deh.. tanaman-tanaman yang macem-macem rupa, tinggi, jenis dan warna itu.. 🌵🎄🌲🌳🌴🌱🌿☘️🍀🎋🌾 👆🏼Mereka itu tumbuh dari mana kalo bukan dari tanah???? 🪴 Sepot tanah doang udah bisa menghasilkan kebaikan demi kebaikan. Berawal dari bibit, numbuh jadi batang, tinggi menjulang jadi pohon, lalu berbuah, buahnya mateng dan ngasih kenikmatan ke lidah-lidah manusia berikut nutrisi-nutrisinya ke tubuh mereka. 🤧 #nikmat-mana-lagi-yang-mau-kamu-dustakan

Ohya terus.. Abis dibikin dari tanah, manusia diapain lagi?

your asks always make me think so hard and my answers are always so long, i'm so sorry lol

like most history students, i had many history eras when i was a kid. i did the titanic phase, the little-house-on-the-prairie pioneer era, the black plague era, the early 20th century era that was brought on by a heritage museum by my house (although i never went through an ancient rome/egypt phase). as i got older, i was interested in the incans, canadian confederation, general american history, and of course, wwii. wwii has been a fixation of mine since i was 7, i'm always in my wwii era.

i've never been interested in things like dates and battles though, i'm more interested in anthropological, social, cultural history. the impacts of historical events on average people? that's my jam. if i had to pick an era, i'd say modern europe (1750s-1950s) is my favourite at the moment, but that's mostly because i've taken 3 classes on modern europe in the past 18 months that have been super interesting. so i'd say right now, its socio-cultural impacts of major events in modern european history. it changes pretty regularly though, i love world history in general from about 1300-present.

shoutout to 20th century history, definitely my favourite century and it is so interesting, so much happened!

i have answered with some here, here, and here, but of course, i have more to share!

idk if this is a curse, but one of the more superstitious things about hockey that i believe is the hockey gods. i've mentioned them before, but basically they are gods of hockey, not everyone believes in them but they are present in the sport. people use them to explain how things that shouldn't have happened, happen, like calls that were missed or pucks that miraculously went in the net or were saved. and it isn't just a fanfic trope (although i'm sure there is plenty of fanfic using the hockey gods as a narrative device), coaches, players, analysts and fans talk about them. you can read articles about what you as a fan can do not to anger the hockey gods, players have crazy superstitions as to not upset them.

do i really believe in them? not really, but i think they are fun and it is nice to be able to blame someone when my team isn't playing well or refs are against us. do i think the players believe in them? again, not really, most players are religious or spiritual in one way or another, but i do believe that it helps keep them grounded with structure and a reason for why they have crazy supersitions. they are also a cool narrative device, both for looking at patterns in how player's careers have played out and for fanfic!
