double voting is ENCOURAGED in this cheerocracy. as a token of appreciation here is a little snippet... max and daniel are an established couple who are going through a rough patch, and scotty james is their couples therapist

There are so many problems with their new therapist, Max hardly knows where to begin. He smiles too much, for one thing, with his big fake white teeth that are probably those porcelain veneers you can get glued on. Max hopes they hurt. Daniel has veneers but his don’t look so glaring and awful, and anyway, Daniel only smiles when he thinks something is good, or funny. The therapist wields his smile like a lion tamer with a chair, as if he can use it to block attacks. Not going to work, Max wants to say. I can still bite you, easy: and I’ve got my real teeth.

best quality: his baby blues, his bouncing his advice. he’s very much always by jim’s side and tries to help him with his captaining duties

worst quality: listen he can be very abrasive and while i’m sure he doesn’t mean it, he should be a bit nicer to spocko sometimes!!

ship them with: nobody... i hc tos bones as aro tbh

brotp them with: kirk!! also chapel, definitely (she runs his medbay after all) also i bet he and scotty are bros.

needs to stay away from: weird meteor cities the high priestesses of which try to seduce him to stay with them

misc. thoughts: HIS SMILE WHEN AMANDA TELLS HIM ABOUT I-CHAYA KILLS ME EVERY TIME LISTEN HE’S SUCH A SOFTIE ON THE INSIDE!! also i like his battles of wit with spock, it’s hilarious. also him in the one with the whales?? oscar material @ deforest kelley

misc. thoughts: i’d love, love, love to get to know joanna!! also pffft i can’t quite quote ID, but the one good thing they did was the thing about his hands cause uhhh yes please. also i love how much life and love karl gave to bones, considering how he didn’t have deforest kelley to help him and considering how intent the creators (jj ass-brams) were on diminishing his character. there are so many little touches - the ring he’s wearing, the bounces, the little bones-y quotes... really, really fantastic work on his part. and incidentally, i never realized how little we really got of bones in ID because karl filled his character so well?? i’m love

also i should glare at @loststarlight here. you know why.
