New Dragons Rising trailer!

Okay, so Arin tells us his neighborhood was where the Merge directly hit. We see him getting thrown around as his parents call out to him. The ninja arrive and Arin is fucking gabberflasted. (I know we're supposed to take him screaming and trying not to fly away seriously but I almost laughed bro I'm SORRY IT'S JUST SO FUNNY TO ME...)

Sora says "the best of all the Realms have moved here to the Crossroads", which I suppose means either it wasn't ALL the Realms, or it was bits and pieces of the Realms, all coming to Ninjago.

Sora tells Arin that, by gods grace and mercy, he is the worst Ninja wannabe born since Pilot Kai /hj (and we also see Ninjago FINALLY knows how to model animals without being uncanny as fuck).

We see the baby dragon BLAST Sora for no reason and she totally plummets to her death :(... but actually no she uses her weird-ass powers to put her mech back together).

We see a bit of the Arin/Ras fight and oh. Oh baby boy you're about to get fucking curbstomped.

We see Sora do a MID mech trick to get onto a track, then we see my bbg Rapton flying his weird-ass flyer to SHOOT and HARM and KILL the babpy dragon :(

Then we see Ras being soooo fakely intimidating "ohhh do not disappoint mee" do not dissapoint deez nu- ahem anyways. He says the dragons are very big and scary and then bapby dragon flies out of his weakass cage and falls on his face LIKE A LOSER!!!!

We then see Arin golden Spinjutsu, Sora racing some losers, and fucking decimating their mid-ass mechs.

Null and Void are a villain duo specialising in heists, Chorus is babpy girl small tiny girl self-duplicating Master who would like to be a hero, like, objectively, but also reeeeeally needs some money and would like to not divulge any information about herself ever so, like, we'll see how well that goes.

MEET PANZER

so Blitzwing and Megatron had kicked ONCE right. n then BOOM, Panzer. He takes after his Sire in his figure and his Carrier with his coloring!

Anyways, this boy surpisingly is nothing like his Creators, or really any Decepticon really. He may be HUGE, and probably one of the most intimidating bot’s you’ll ever lay eyes on, but deep down he’s a real teddy bear. Panzer has been voted ‘Most Likely to Defect’ 100 years running much to Megatron’s dismay.

He’s not much of a fan of violence or destruction, but Panzer is unfortunately really good at both. If he weren’t such a Klutz, there wouldn’t be half as much explosions from his bottomless pit of an arsenal strapped to his frame. He doesnt really pay attention to where he’s driving either, there’s been more than times where he’s had to pick autobot plating pieces from his treads. Crying the whole time of course.

Panzer is one of the largest and strongest warframes currently running around the Decepticon ranks, he’s been fairly close to even beating Overlord in an arm wrestle. He’d much rather use his strength to pick everyone up into a giggly, spinning hug.

Flug loves his (not so little) little half brother dearly, and they’ll often do alt mode races on patrol just to push each other’s buttons. Flug wins everytime but Panzer will NOT let up he’s determined to beat him one day!!!!

Panzer described by the many as ‘A Mumbling Abomination to the Cause’ because of his soft spoken, even a bit broken speech. He doesn’t ever take his mask off! He could be horrible scarred, have handsomely chiseled features, may have the entrance to the void behind his soulless goggles, OR!!! It could just be a comfort thing. Whatever Panzer lacks in facial expressions, he makes up for in eccentric and animated gestures. When he’s excited about smth, stand back or he may accidentally send you careening through a wall.

His alt mode is a Tank MX2 and his voice claim is Bane

...Okay that was my favorite episode of the season so far. Not a lot happened, but it was so soft in a really nice way, likely due to the after hours concept where everyone can just turn off their work sonas and be themselves for a bit.

Also since we didn’t see the scene with David staring at the stars, and it seems to be the only thing left in the trailer we HAVEN’T seen (I THINK?), I’m predicting it’ll appear next week in the halfway mark episode. I can’t wait.

Y’know? I don’t know if it’s still going on, because I blocked the Unsympathetic Patton tag- just doesn’t tickle my fancy-, but the issue where people saw the blog and the posts regarding Unsympathetic Patton and were like, ‘Is this an invitation to change your mind about my sweet babpy boy who’s JUST MISGUIDED’? (And these replies had the possibility to be quite rude and even insult-laden?)

That is exactly how people reacted to my takes on Remy. Because if they like a character, if they view a character as nice and sweet and good, then I must be misunderstanding something, I must not see the good traits, and it’s their personal job to explain to me, who has explained indepth why I don’t like Remy, how he’s good and kind and misunderstood.

And even if I hadn’t explained beforehand, the notion that I always, always owe them an explanation over why I don’t like him, over why I don’t like their sweet baby boy, is ludicrous. I hold no obligation to explain why I feel the way I do, and neither do any of you.

This fandom has never been open to differing opinions, and I hope with the rise of Unsympathetic Sides, they learn their lesson in letting other people do what they want without stomping in and crushing their ideas and headcanons beneath the heel of, ‘Um, well I think-’

Leave other people alone. Don’t take someone writing a character you like as abusive as a personal attack, because it is not, and it is not an invitation to attack them, either. (And as a sidenote, writing a character as abusive does not automatically equate to not liking/not understanding the character.)
