So, today I was hired as the head leader of one of the graduation project groups. I was literally praying for this role, and I hope I don't disappoint myself before anyone else. I will have to translate, edit, supervise and submit the whole group work by May 3rd—along with an individual research paper. We're going to translate a book about translation.

Am I excited? Yes. Am I nervous? Hell fucking I am. But I really wanted this and I don't wanna ruin it. Wish me luck, I'm finally gonna do something I want to be proud of.

Ramadan Kareem to you all, that's gonna be my second Ramadan active here on tumblr, however I want to say couple stuff regarding this.

I may not be as active as usual, I have to focus more on my relationship with God, try to fix some inner moral compass issues that I think should be fixed, and this holy month is the best way for a start. <3

(Also take care of uni and my mental health bc I've been scattered everywhere lately hehe, no seriously I need to focus on uni more since it's my senior year and oral exams will definitely be on the tail of Eid. 😭😭😭)

But I will be active, I will work on requests and do other stuff. Not as active, but I'll be here. <3

There will be less of everything, definitely, I'll be focusing on prayers and reading the holy Quran, preparing meals, spending time with my family, and fasting, which is the main protagonist of the month—fasting from everything else that is not related to Allah and serving Him, as much as possible, God help me.

But I'll be blogging the usual stuff, the sweet cute not smutty stuff because yeah I can't do that on this holy month, that's absolute audacity 😂😂😂 which hopefully would help me lessen my exposure to this material in general—unless needed bc I'm a single ass and I have fantasies 😂😭😭 (let's say this is more of a reminder for me than just news for you that I hope I don't break by the end of the month or during it)

Yesterday my professor was talking about how each writer has their own style and tone and then she talks about Sylvia Plath and her style and I almost screamed "that's the female hysteria writer all of us girls relate to!!!" but thankfully I didn't but I kept nodding to every word she said because it's obviously relatable.

Exams are such a fucking pain in the ass tbh. Yesterday's exam was fine but not that I liked how it was, it was fucking terrible but I think I could pass this class. The next one however, it's 100% fucking essay, and we haven't been examined this way SINCE YEAR ONE!!!

like I have no idea how this is gonna be. It's basically translation, so we're gonna translate two to three articles, but then comes the what method/technique did I use here hehe I DON'T FUCKING KNOW please. Well I actually know, but I just feel so overwhelmed rn. sorry for yelling at you like that I didn't mean it.
