Welcome To The Family (8/???)
Surprise bitches. Short chap to try getting back into it (eventually)
Tw- language that would probably make a sailor blush. Maybe I should tone it down (probably won’t), kidnapped, blackmail, delusional “friend”, light hypothermia (will make sense when reading).
----------------------------------------------------
Muffled voices were the only thing being heard while waking up. One of them was Tadao. And the other?...
...Ryo? Why are they yelling at each other? Wha- how long was I- wait, where am I- what happened? All I remember is Tadao… Right. Damn, my head hurts severely. I can’t even rub it with my hands being bound. As well as my legs to the chair. Wait, bound? Fuck, now I’m regretting not taking their advice of walking with me. I just really wasn’t expecting Tadao to do such a thing.
I attempt to open my eyes, but the brightness of the room makes the pain in my head at least three times worse, and my vision is incredibly blurred. Okay, focus on where I am for now.
What feels to be a wooden chair, and metal cuffs around my wrists, keeping them together in front of me. Really? They couldn’t have at least given my ass a cushion or something? Right, not the time for that type of complaint. I try to listen to their yelling conversation without giving away that I woke up. Their loud voices are killer on my headache. Even though most if not all the pain is the back of my head where I was hit.
Trying to feel a bit more, there’s a bit of a crusty type of feeling slightly down my back. The hit must have somehow punctured my skin or something since I can only think of that crusty feeling being blood. I better not have fallen in dog poop or something or I swear I’m beating the daylight out of Tadao more if I ever will be able to.
“Why didn’t you use your black mold or something to make them pass out!? Your hits to them could have killed them!” Ryo? They’re in on this too!? There’s not really a way this could get worse, is there? My two closest friends?... Can’t really say that anymore.
“Are you stupid!? Black mold could have killed them too! That would also give them breathing problems! Do you KNOW how deadly strong amounts of exposure of mold is to people besides me, especially black, since I’m immune to it!?”
Pain stabs through my head yet again. Urg, do they really need to yell?...
“You fucking idiot. You should have kept chloroform on you like I said to do.” I swear my heart stops completely for a minute. I know that voice anywhere. Aiya. Fuck, I just HAD to jinx it, didn’t I?
“I’m sorry, okay? It was a brash and stupid decision! But I couldn’t risk being followed! With the multiple heroes at the time taking care of a few low villains on the other side of the city, and tons of people drawn to that, it was the best chance I had to not be seen!” He sounds rather exasperated.
She sighs. “Doesn’t matter now. If there’s any damage done to their head, we’ll just have to focus on that later. Our main priority is having everyone think they’re dead. I guess you were good in that regard by leaving the bloodied bat there. At least you were smart enough to still be wearing gloves.”
My only question is why are they working with her? It’s obvious she hates me. I can still feel the “friendship” ring on my finger I kept wearing for one reason or another. I’d care for nothing more than to rip it off now and smash it to the ground. Stomp on it for good measure. Regret overwhelmingly taking me over of ever being friends with Ryo in the first place.
I end up shifting after way too long of a weird stare-down silence because they couldn't have at least given me a fucking cushion, signaling I’m awake. They all must notice since they all go quiet for a moment. “Y/N! You’re awake! That’s good! Now that you’re here, we can finally hang out again, and the heroes will find a new sitter!”
… Are you fucking mental? How many people around me are truly sane right now? First the heroes are acting weird, and now my friends. Starting to wonder if the heroes aren’t the ones struck by some sort of quirk. I try to glare at them, but my eyes are forced closed by the damn light. It’s like an interrogation because the only visible light is the one above me glaring down for the tiny second I try to open my eyes again.
“Come on Y/N, people die all the time. Those heroes won’t bat an eye when they find you “dead”. Don't flatter yourself.” Aiya sneers.
!!! Fuck, she must have told them. She must have noticed my expression sour. “Oh please, I informed Ryo about the heroes after I found them angry one day. Aw, all they wanted was to hang out with you.” The end of what she spoke became incredibly degrading. She’s lucky I’m not able to put my foot to her face and break a few teeth. Or maybe breaking her nose. That would suffice too. I can already hear Zashi in the background like some sort of funny show edging me on to do it. Really starting to hate her, and I hardly know jack shit other than her name and her personality that could possibly rival Endeavor’s.
I finally manage to force my eyes open and clear, showing Tadao behind the two of them with an incredibly horrified look on his face. “WHAT!? WHY DIDN’T YOU TELL ME THEY WERE HEROES!? Oh man, oh man, oh fuck! I KNEW it was a bad idea! Why did I listen to you two!?” The pain in my head majorly spikes. Hng, fuck. Can he PLEASE at least keep it down!?
His complaints must have pissed off Ryo since they walk over and grab Tadao by his hair, yanking it down. He tenses in pain and closes an eye to prevent yelling. They turn towards me and look at my hands. I do as well and notice the metal cuffs look too similar to wood. Almost like a coverup for something.
“You’re wearing our friendship ring! You must still want to hang out with me!”
You’re beyond stupid if you think I will after this stunt. Is this where they were the time I was going to hang out with them? Wait... Please for the love of everything, tell me they didn't get hit by the same fucking quirk. That or going back to the idea I might be the problem. Ryo's almost acting like it. My mouth feels incredibly dry as I try to speak. "Why this way?" Eventually manages to come out. It’s not slurred, which must be insane luck. Aiya seems disappointed. "Well, miraculously somehow doesn't seem to be any brain damage or concussion, so I guess that's good."
I snap at Ryo harming Tadao and that Aiya wanted me to be injured. Same with how the others have been acting. Really getting pissed off at whoever has this quirk. I’d like more than just a word with them, even if it’s a child at this point. "Could you break out of this weird fucking quirk already? I'm getting sick of all this weird personality bullshit." So I’m crabby. Sue myself. Not my fault they could have killed me and are the cause of this stupid pain in my head. They deserve a snappy attitude at least.
Ryo looks at me confused. "I was never hit with any quirk.”
What? Did I stop breathing? I think I stopped breathing. No, they have to be lying! Ugh, really must have been me.
Aiya laughs maniacally for a moment at my probably bewildered expression. "Is- is that what you THINK? They and Ryo were never hit with such a ridiculous thing!"
My mind blanks into fear of what that means. It's not possible they're just acting like that normally! It has to be me then! I refuse to believe two pro heroes, one in training, and a child ALL have some weird obsession for just a plain babysitter. Ugh, I might have to resign being their babysitter, or even just one in general, if this is the case. Well, if I get out of here that is. I’d rather not get involved deeper with whatever the fucks going on with them.
"They were probably just acting to keep your pathetic excuse as a good sitter so they could finally stop looking for another!"
Me, a pathetic excuse? I'm not the one who kept trying to hit on a married gay man or ignore the children, which, I don't know, IS. THE. JOB.? A major part of me is doubtful of them just acting it as well. There's no way they'd go to such extremities and make me so uncomfortable sometimes if that was the case. With how desperate they are, maybe? But Shouta really doesn't seem to be the type to mess around or act differently than himself under any circumstance.
I give her a disbelieving look, which seemed to be the wrong thing to do, and her face became a harsh glare as she stomps up to me. She reaches out towards me and wraps her hand around my pendant. She gives a firm tug, breaking the chain around my neck, then glares at the pendant.
"This should have been mine. I was so close to finding a way I could squeeze back in and steal Hizashi for myself, but then you had to come in and ruin everything. I don't know what stupid trick you pulled, but they're dogs at your fucking mercy, almost like Tadao is for me."
My brows crease in confusion. What does she mean by that?
Ryo finally stopped pulling on Tadao's hair, and he steps a few feet away from the psychotic duo. He's also on thin ice but seems to really not want to be a part of this. He glares at Aiya from behind and gently rubs his scalp. She turns to look at him while trying to squeeze the pendant as tight as she could. It's sturdier than I thought since it isn't cracking in any way. "Why don't you tell them, my little errand boy?" She says "errand boy" in such a demeaning way that even I feel like throwing up.
He physically cringes hard at that name but doesn't stop his glaring at her. She doesn't seem to care in the slightest. "It's true. She's got me on a tight leash that could easily make me lose my job as a waiter for my parent's business. Two of her friends help set me up one day while I was their waiter. She purposefully tripped me, making me fall onto one of her in-on-it female friends,"
He greatly cringes again. "My hands ended up in... unsavory places trying to catch myself. Aiya snapped a picture, and if she were to send it to my parents, they'd kick me from my job for sure. I'm trying to earn my place to take over their business one day. They understandably would have no tolerance for such behavior. Everyone is more than willing to believe three women complaining about a man assaulting them before they'd believe a man claiming to be gay was framed."
I hate to say it, but that does seem like a pretty logical assumption many would make. Has he mentioned being gay before? My still kinda messed up mind can't remember.
Aiya laughs sadistically. "Right you are, my little errand boy."
I cringe as well this time. Ew. Out of all things? Seriously?
"It was a miracle it worked so well in my favor! Now I can just dangle the little carrot whenever I need dirty work done, and he has to do it or lose his job and family’s faith in him permanently."
Now I'm feeling a bit bad for Tadao.
"In speaking of loss." She turns back towards me and glares harshly again. She throws the pendant to the ground and tries to break it with a few firm stomps. Is she seriously acting like a child right now? If I wasn’t in such a dire situation, I’d probably be laughing at how pathetic this is.
The stomps do little to nothing. She yells in frustration, picks it up again, and chucks it at the concrete wall as hard as she could on my left. It just bounces off and clatters to the also concrete floor. Concrete? Of course I'd be in a fucking basement. She’s acting like a child throwing a massive tantrum.
She stops after a moment and pins her hands on my forearms. The grip almost hurts. With her glare locked onto my eyes and her quite obvious thirst for power or something, I could almost joke about her being kinky.
That thought nearly makes me physically gag. Ew. Okay, definitely not with her involved though.
“What are you doing? This wasn’t part of the plan!” Ryo has the audacity to almost sound panicked. Why?
She looks back toward Ryo for a moment.
"Oh, they deserve a little punishment, don't you think, dear Ryo? They chose the “family” over you after all. All they had to do was deny them a bit better, and all of this could have been avoided!~"
I'm pissed they didn't think I tried. How the hell are you SUPPOSED to just stand up and refuse two pro heroes to something they were already dead set on? Especially if they’re quite high in ranks?
Ryo has a torn expression. “I… yeah, I guess that makes sense. But we can’t afford to have them suddenly needing to go to the hospital. They’d be found then!”
She turns back towards me with a highly unnerving smirk. “Don’t you worry. I’ll just go to stage one.”
Stage… one? Wait, It almost feels like everything around is getting colder? No, worse. It feels like heat is slowly being sapped out of me. What is she doing!?
Tadao seems to pale a few shades lighter than he already was.
“Y-You can’t just use your quirk like that! You’re purposefully giving them stage one hypothermia!?” He rushes towards us to try to stop her.
...She’s what!?
She puts one of her hands in a “stop” form towards him. “Come any closer, and I won’t think twice of posting that delightful pic to your family.”
He freezes in his tracks.
“Besides, stage one is harmless enough anyway. Mostly just some shivering and loss of blood circulation. We can warm them back up to normal easily enough later.”
“B-but what about the chance of it worsening after? It could get worse itself since it’s already fairly cold down here!” He almost seems to beg for her to let go.
She rolls her eyes. Damn, I’m feeling the effect fast. My body is already starting to involuntarily shiver. “Every time you open your whiny mouth, it makes my longing stronger of wanting to post it just to get you sorry excuse for a man finally away from me.”
He looks like he desperately wants to say something else, but his mouth snaps shut.
“I- uh, I’ll come back later. I can’t really handle being around Y/N while you do that to them.” Ryo admits and heads towards the stairs starting at my right front corner and goes up towards a door above and behind me. Seriously? You’re so DESPERATE to get me, finally do, and then can’t even stick around to watch your new friend basically torture your old best friend? Just how pathetic are you?
The door slams as they leave.
She immediately gets way too close to my face. Back up, back up, backup, backup,backup-
“You’re lucky I promised to keep my word for them, or I’d have absolutely no problem forcing it to the third stage and laugh at you while watching you die.” She seethes, and lets go not long after.
She's lucky I didn't spit on her face. Would have greatly loved to. I really should have.
She looks toward Tadao and glares again. “I’ll be back shortly. I need to make sure you weren’t stupid enough to leave any other tracks that would lead them to us. While I’m gone, don’t think of doing anything else stupid,” She leaves pretty quickly as well. However, I didn’t hear a door open and close.
I look up to try to see why, and there’s a bit of purple mist that disappears not long after. Purple mist? Was there another or something? Maybe that’s how I got here? Now thinking back, I think I saw something purple forming to the side of me before being knocked out.
Tadao bolts to be right in front of me and puts his hands on my shoulders. The little heat is a surprising relief from the serious chill I’m feeling now. His brown eyes look like they’re about to start crying.
“I’m sorry! I’msorry, I’msosorry, so, so, so, sorry! I didn’t want this to happen and purposefully started to avoid you because they were forcing me to get you and they would have known if I met you and didn’t get you with that other watching and so many things this is so frustrating-!” He quickly started speaking so fast I almost didn’t understand a word he said to me. It took a moment to process, but then it made sense why he wasn’t around the past few days.
Kind of stuck on what to do now, other than…
I slip the ring off my finger and drop it to the floor. Can’t exactly stomp on it from my legs being bound, but it’s enough in the rage I feel.
Another involuntary shiver comes over my body. Has it always been this cold in here? I know the whole hypothermia and stuff going on, but this seems rather odd. Was she possibly lying about only stage one?
He quickly kneels down to be right by the cuffs still on my wrist sitting in front.
Metal cuffs that are detailedly painted to look wooden. After a second of him holding them, The paint chips off with what I guess to be some sort of mold, leaving the metallic glint underneath.
A surprised and extremely terrified expression takes over his face. “I thought I told her to make them wood! I lied saying you wouldn’t be able to break out of it so I could use my mold to dissolve them!”
Aiya laughs behind him and re-enters. A test. Of COURSE she was testing him, not going back to the scene. It would have been beyond suspicious if the heroes saw her there.
She walks down the stairs to be in front of us. “You honestly think I’d listen to you? I know you were planning on letting them go before you found out the family they babysit for are heroes. Sadly, I actually did get rid of that picture, as promised to Ryo with your cooperation, but I can easily get more. All it takes is another friend who still has it, or even just have other friends do the same thing at your workplace,” she puts her hand on her chin and looks up in thought. “Hmm, I might just post it anyways. You didn’t fully keep your promise either!~ Oh! And it would be so much better if next time it’s when your parents are-”
The door gets slammed with so much force, that it flies off the hinges and falls flat right behind her. She freezes in her place, staring at the entrance where the door was.
A man with all-too-familiar hair and certain grey clothing jumps down, and turns toward Aiya with a very harsh glare.
… It’s Shouta, and he. Is. PISSED.

Oh yes. Sorry I sorta let out the smut! I guess I'll have to do an other one with it sometime!
Let Me Be Sorry
TW: Kidnapping mentioned, yandere relationship, Female Reader.
Tumblr media
Life had become easier throughout the weeks, you had finally found your place within this odd new systems with your captors. First, you wanted to resist, it was only sensible, kidnapping wasn’t right. You spent hours and days screaming and crying at them. Usually until your throat felt raw and you lost your voice. You truly hated them.
It took a while until things changed. You realized that rather than kidnapping you and committing a crime. They had saved you in some twisted way. They took you out of your mundane life, saved you from the stress of working and making sure you had enough to eat and a roof over your head. With them, you didn’t have to worry about anything. Perhaps it was the Stockholm Syndrome that set in, hearing them babble all the time about how good it was now for you, but you believed it. Aizawa and Hizashi took care of everything for you. They fed you, clothed you, put a roof over your head. Your life was better than it had been before.
A feeling of guilt had washed over you as you remembered how you were in the beginning, so rude. Refusing their love, yelling at them, crying anytime they came near you. How could you have been so cruel, so inconsiderate? They were only loving you. Something had to be done to make it up to them, you wanted to show them how sorry you were. How much you truly appreciated all they had done for you. It would only be right to show them tou cared too. You settled on making them dinner. A nice surprise for when they came home after a long day of work. The only issue was the knife drawer, it was locked. You were forced to only use forks and spoons.
Dinner had gone well, at least Hizashi and Aizawa didn’t complain about the food if there was something wrong with it. Not to mention your outfit had been appreciated. Especially with Hizashi, his hands were on you most of the time. Whether it was a hand on your thigh during dinner, or his arms encircling you while you both stood. It was Aizawa who seemed hesitant, you wanted him to accept your apology, maybe even start over. But he seemed so distant as if he was waiting for you to change your mind. You didn’t blame him, you were so difficult before. After dinner, you decided to have a chat with him. Show him how sorry you were, how willing you were to be a part of this household.
Cooking had been difficult, but you managed, settling on making a simple meal that needed the least amount of cutting. Now all that had to be done was set up the table.
Looking at the clock you realized they would be home any minute, only giving you a couple of minutes to get dressed. Running to the bedroom you quickly put on their favourite outfit they had gotten you. Fixing your hair and spraying the perfume they loved on. You were ready, just in time as the door to the apartment opened. Running out of the bedroom to the front door. Aizawa and Hizashi were entering the apartment chatting about work. Locking the door behind them, making sure to secure the several locks that stood between you and the outside world.
“What’s going on gorgeous?” Hizashi’s voice broke your stare away from the door. He always complimented you, how could anyone want to leave him? The door shouldn’t matter.
“I-I, uh, wanted to make dinner.” Both men stopped what they were doing to look at you. Aizawa cocked an eyebrow. “As a way to say sorry…”
You looked away, not wanted to make eye contact. Embarrassed by your behaviour from all those days ago. You know you had hirt them. Hizashi had whined and complained about your coldness towards them before.
“Sorry? Sorry for what sweetie?”
You felt Aizawa’s hand stroking your cheek. Leaning into his touch. His touch was so tender and loving. It wasn’t until his grip tightened that you realized he wanted an answer.
“It’s for when, when I first came here.” Looking up at him, his expression was neutral as always. “I was so rude. I should have seen you guys were trying to help me. I’m sorry.”
Hizashi had joined the two of you, connecting his hands to your body. Pulling you towards him, engulfing you in his arms.
“Oh, baby. You don’t have to be sorry. You were just scared. We love you so much! Isn’t that right Shouta?”
Hizashi squeezed you tighter. Your arms draped against him, attempting to hug him back. Weeks ago you would have hated this. Cried for them to stop, but now. Now you never wanted this to end.
Hizashi had suggested a movie after dinner. All of you agreed, you knew it would end up with the men pulling you towards them. Each trying to get as much contact as possible. As Hizashi went to choose and set up the movie, Aizawa cleaned the table and headed to the kitchen. This was your chance to apologize to him. Following him into the room, watching him clean and put things away. He was so handsome, how could you think he was some beast.
“Do you want something?” His voice had taken you off guard.
“Oh, no not really.” This was your chance to apologize to him and get him to forgive you like Hizashi had seemed to do. “It’s just, just that. You don’t forgive me, do you?”
Your voice was low, barely a whisper, but he had gotten used to your timid voice. Aizawa stopped what he was doing, turning to look at you. His stare was intense, it seemed like Aizawa was either tired or intense at all times. Rarely was there any other emotion on its own. As if he knew no in between.
“Yes and no” What did that mean? He probably saw the confusion on your face, choosing to explain himself. “I’ll always love you, no matter what you do so don’t think otherwise.” Aizawa was walking towards you. Stopping when he was near centimetres away from you. “I’m worried this is temporary. That tomorrow you’ll wake up and hate us again.” You began to shake your head, telling him that it wasn’t the case. “Then why the sudden change dear?”
His hands had found their way to your face, cupping your cheeks to stop you from shaking your head and blubbering out he was wrong. He wanted a clear and simple explanation from you. He wanted proof that this was all real, that it was permanent.
“I realized that I love you guys.” Aizawa’s face had no emotion on it, he wanted you to continue your explanation. “I was scared in the beginning, but now. Now I know you two did it out of love. My life is better now with you guys than it was before. Maybe I didn’t want to admit it before.”
Tears had begun to slide down your face. Aizawa had slipped his hands off your cheeks, moving them to embrace your body. Pulling you into a hug. It wasn’t until you both heard Hizashi call out that everything was set up that the two of you pulled away from each other. Aizawa planted a tender kiss onto your forehead.
"I believe you, but I still worry.”
You understood. He was much more pessimistic than Hizashi. It was going to take some time, but you could work with that. Starting tonight, you would be the perfect darling for the two of them. Letting them touch and kiss you more. Proving to then you wanted this as much as them. Even initating sex that night. Both of the men were taken off guard, but Hizashi was ecstatic and accepted you happily. Barely letting Aizawa have his fill. It was nice to sew them argue over you, over who's turn it was to have you. You felt loved by them and that's all that mattered.

For me yandere ErasureMic would be horrible. Like Shouta i’m pretty quiet and only really get talkative with close friends and on occasion my dog (Her name is Mochi in case you were wondering) So pair that with two delusional people who like in your scenarios kidnapped me, I wouldn’t talk to them. I feel like if I was in that scenario I would just chill with my dog, like I know I won’t make it out i’d be to scared to even try. So just give me my space, assure me my loved ones are alright, and don’t do anything bad to my dog and we are good. While it isn’t the best situation, it’s at least a better spot than if someone else with worse intentions kidnapped me.
Tumblr media
Hello, there! ❤️
I like to play with a lot of different scenarios, but actual yandere EM would be the softest yanderes in existence. You’ve melted their hearts and reduced them to putty. They love you to the moon and back.
First off, your hubbies would do everything in their power to make your stay as stress-free as possible. They’d respect your personal space. When you’re comfortable enough to come chat with them on your own, they’re delighted. The heroes patiently wait for you to open up to them. You won’t be forced to converse with them.
They don’t expect anything of you. You do only what you please. In the words of Hizashi, “You do whatever your sweet lil heart desires.”
It’s absolutely fine if you don’t feel like talking, they’re happy to have you home with them. If you wouldn’t mind, they’d fill the silence for you—chatting about whatever they could think of.
You’re allowed to go wherever you please as long as one of them accompanies you. The pair wouldn’t be able to stand it if you grew to hate them because they denied your freedom.
They’d never dream of harming adorable Mochi! The erasermic household is home to many four-legged babies. They’re fathers of many fluffy kitties, with you being their mama by proxy. While they may not have much experience with dogs, they’re excited to learn. They’d like to get to know Mochi if you’ll permit it. (The pros secretly hope the three of you can bond over your love of furry friends) Mochi is treated just as well as you are, pampered with treats and toys they leave by your door.
If you did try and leave, they’d be pretty heartbroken. However, they won’t blame you, they’ll blame themselves. Clearly, they aren’t making you happy enough. They aren’t doing something right. They’ll punish themselves. You can do no wrong in their eyes. It’s never you, it’s them.
Gently, they’ll plead for you to tell them how they can make your stay better. What aren’t they doing right?
Your spirit is so sweet to them. Because of your quiet nature, Zashi assumes you aren’t a fan of sudden loud noises. They’re very careful not to cause too much ruckus for your sake. Hizashi lowers his volume considerably; the DJ only speaks to you in soft tones.
True yandere erasermic aren’t delusional. They know you aren’t thrilled about being there. They’re just hoping they can change your mind.
To them, their intentions aren’t scorn-worthy. They wanna be good husbands for you. Shouta and Zashi want your smiles and laughter. They want you to feel loved every day with them. If they can achieve that, they’ll know they’ve done a good job providing for you.

Headcanons for parental/platonic yandere Erasermic
Anonymous asked: “Do you mind doing hc's or something for erasermic as parental yandere's? I really like your writing 👉🏻👈🏻”
a/n: mmm yes some good old erasermic don’t mind if i diddly do anon. and thx bby, glad you enjoy it!
_____
The two would balance each other out quite nicely. Shouta would naturally be more stern, having expectations in their darling, with Hizashi evening it out with his relaxed, outgoing personality.
With parental intentions the two would be much more cautious than normal. They’d take to gently suggesting certain things to their darling at first: not staying out too late, getting enough sleep, eating properly.
They’d also be slightly more old-fashioned with their concerns. Both of them would give their darling a hard time on topics like staying on their phone for too long, or going out with someone they met online. Even what they choose to wear isn’t off the table.
It would start out as small suggestions—completely harmless. Yet if they saw their darling wasn’t taking them seriously they wouldn’t be against sitting them down and lecturing them over their behaviour. Hizashi would do most of the talking (and stress-induced pacing) while Shouta would drive the point home with a more serious tone.
Queue the “I’m not mad, just disappointed.”
They’d start doing things that had a bigger impact on their darling’s life: giving them rides, making them dinner, offering advice.
Most importantly, they’d absolutely make sure to be there for their darling if they were upset or in trouble. Shouta and Hizashi would provide a safe space for their darling, with all the comfort of a warm and inviting household. In this sense, there would be slight manipulation to get their darling to rely on them more, but as far as the two are concerned it’s for their own good.
Many of their protective actions would happen in secret. They ‘take care’ of individuals that they deemed a bad influence. Their darling’s phone may ‘accidentally’ stop working, preventing them from staying on it too long or meeting up with certain people. Perhaps the power goes out for an indefinite amount of time wherever they’re living, forcing them to spend a few nights at the heroes’ place.
They’d never go as far as putting their darling in danger to show them that letting the two help was a good idea—that would be highly irresponsible on their part. Instead they make sure to be there in every time of need that arises normally.
However, not much would stop them from losing their patience with their darling’s lifestyle. The freedoms they have are only opportunity for danger in their eyes, and naturally their protective tendencies would avail.
When it comes to rules in the house, Shouta makes them and Hizashi regrettably enforces them. Shouta will still enforce it, but there’s a mutual understanding that ‘Zashi is better off doing it as he’s quite the more gentle with it. You’ll know you’ve effed up bad if Shouta ends up laying down the law.
Shouta being more rational in the relationship would insist that they create a familiar environment for their darling. While Hizashi would be set on blowing all his money on the most luxurious items for their room, his counterpart would reason that the change would be jarring to an extent. For this reason they’d do their best to recreate any aspects of their darling’s past residence that they think will help them adjust better. Not to say that Hizashi still won’t splurge on expensive commodities, but it wouldn’t be immediate. There would be a few things here and there at first, and the rest would be used as positive reinforcement for their darling to encourage them to settle down.
In general, the platonicness/parental relationship they give is approached very compassionately. The two men are extremely patient when they bring their darling home. They’d ensure at all costs that every need is taken care of, whether it be physical or mental. Hizashi would be much more coddling and would handle the emotional aspect of things, while Shouta would be in charge of the general lifestyle changes and making sure their darling was following these expectations of good health.
(might end up doing a part two of this later)

Love your writing! Can you recommend other yandere/noncon writers? Sorry if you’ve been asked before.
I haven't been asked but I'd be willing to share some of my favorites!
I usually find people by looking in the 'yandere x reader' or 'yandere bnha' tags since my hero academia is basically my special interest right now. Honestly it seems like new people are popping up all the time and I'm pretty forgetful honestly so I'm sure there are people I'll forget but here's a list of some of the names that stick out to me and post fairly often 😚
@your-yandere-kiss updates and opens requests fairly often and writes for multiple fandoms including bnha, hetalia, DC, and other series
@yandere-love-love-love has some really good stuff and is also pretty active as well. Also has a huge thirst for endeavor that is starting to become hella contagious and make me write for nasty flame man too 🍆💦💦💦
@yandere-daydreams is another yandere writer who ildates pretty often!
@writerbyaccident is a multifandom writer who does bnha a lot and I've read a pretty decent amount of their stuff 😥👌
@weak-battery-acid is on a bit of a personal hiatus but has some good stuff for bnha, though unfortunately it isn't tagged so you have to dig a little bit. actually I found them throooough-
@unboundbnha who is not actually a writer that I know of but tends to reblog a lot of yandere stuff and can be a good resource! Tbh I've perused their blog a few times to try and see if there was any good shit published lately that I happened to miss 👀
@kazooli is someone who's stuff I've only read a few times but it was hella good 🍆💦
@sweetened-apples is also someone I'm less familiar with but she also writes every so often and is up there in quality 👌
@amusedyan is someone I've been seeing around in the tag more and is worth checking out!
@yanderemommabean I feel like is almost a household name at this point and while I dont keep up with her stuff very often she writes a lot even if it's just brief concept ideas or replies to asks
aaaaaand this is really more of an honorable mention since I'm not sure if they write very often or for bnha much anymore but @ycnderes is the author of one of my favorite fic series ever breathe out so I can breathe you in which i read months ago and singlehandedly ignited both my Hizashi and poly erasermic thirst, and since I wrote my own poly erasermic fic recently that you all liked, I figured I should give them a shout out and point you all to some delicious nastiness 😏👌like part two with the spider gag gave me VISCERAL anxiety but in the best way ugghhghghg like just end my life evil hero daddies 💀💀💀

Welcome To The Family (6/???)
1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / here
Yandere EraserMic household x reader
Fun fact- Tadao was a sudden decision I made up on the spot after chapter 3 and wasn’t expecting to really make him a character other than a mentioned person with a mold/fungus quirk. I did though, and already love him as an OC more than I should. Oops.
It might be a long while before the next chapter. I think I may have drained myself a bit from focusing on this story so much.
Warnings- swearing, slight coercion I think? Not really sure but better safe than sorry.
I promise the darker stuff is coming soon.
------------------------------------
I wake up to someone calling me. Hitoshi? Why is he calling me at… 9 in the morning? Come on dude, I want to sleep more for dinner tonight. My fault for hanging out with Tadao a bit later last night than usual. He’s started walking with me to our apartment for the past few days. I wonder why we haven’t hung out until now. Meanwhile, Ryo and I seemed to drift apart. They refuse to even look at me now when I saw them last night.
Ugh, might as well answer it. “Hey, Hitoshi. You need something?” I tiredly slur from just waking up.
“Sorry for waking you…” Apologized the familiar voice of Eri. Wait, Eri? Why does she have Hitoshi’s phone? The wonder why she has his phone wakes me up a bit more.
“Oh, hey, Eri. Is something wrong?” A slight panic enters me in the possibility something bad could have happened to one of the guys. “Wait, is everyone okay?”
“We’re good. Just wanted to talk a bit with you before tonight.” Pipes up the familiar voice of Hitoshi in the background.
Relief floods me. “That’s good. What about?”
“Our dads!” Eri cheerfully informs.
My eyes narrow in confusion. “What about them?”
“What do you think of them?” Hitoshi asks. Huh? Why does this need to be talked about now? Maybe because more likely than not the two adults are asleep, and won’t hear the conversation?
I’m too tired to be filtered right now, so whatever comes to mind is whatever is going to be said. “They’re… An interesting two, to say the least. Hizashi seems like someone I can rely on to cheer me up pretty easily if I’m ever down, and after that day Shouta was sick, I realize Shouta’s secretly a lot more caring than he lets on. Still wouldn’t want to pi- anger him.” Ugh, it’s too early. I nearly just swore with Eri there! Well, saying “piss him off” wouldn’t have been that bad, but she needs to keep that innocence at least for a while yet.
Hitoshi laughs, probably catching on with what I almost said. “Seen it first-hand with his class. Can’t say I recommend it either.”
“What about looks?” Eri suddenly asks, catching me off-guard. What do their looks have to do with anything? They’re also a married couple, so whatever I think is invalid anyways.
“Well, had this weird thought of wondering what Hizashi would look like with his hair fully down when we went to the festival, but that’s really not something that I need to tell him. It’s something I probably shouldn’t be wondering in the first place.”
“What’s the problem in wondering that? It’s just hair.”
“Says the one who always looks like he stuck his head out a car window and hair decided to stay that way.”
“Can’t argue with that.”
I go back onto the topic. “Otherwise, I’m not really sure what to talk about with them. It’s their choices of what they wear. Though it IS pretty funny imagining Hizashi forcing Shouta to wear something he normally wouldn’t.”
“It’s happened more than once before.”
I tiredly let out a laugh. “I believe it.”
“Daddy made him wear a dress!”
An almost inhuman sound comes out of me at the thought of Shouta deeply frowning with a strapless hot pink dress forced onto him, and the only reason he does it is Hizashi would probably keep pestering him otherwise.
“Maybe sometime we could get him to do it again with you here. It’s quite a thing to see.”
“Oh, really? How did he not kill you for laughing?”
“He almost did,” he replies jokingly.
“If he tries to attack me when I’m there, you’re taking the blow.” I joke back.
He goes silent for a moment. “He wouldn’t dare. If he did, he’d have an angry little girl scolding him.”
“Toooshiiii!”
“What? You know I’m right.”
“Hmph.”
“Anyway, want to tell them what you’ll wear?”
“No! It’s a surprise!”
“Right back at you two,” I inform the slightly bickering duo.
----------------------------
We both hung up after a bit more of talking about tonight. I could swear there was someone talking in the background for a second, but I brushed it off as the T.V. Eri was probably watching something earlier and forgot to lower the volume.
After playing on my computer for a while since it’s close to my bed, I decided to just get up and get ready. There are not many fancy things I have, so it’s quite limited on what to wear. Hopefully, they don’t mind if it’s a bit more casual than fancy. There’s plenty of time to shop for something, but I’m honestly too lazy to go anywhere. Just something of my favorite color and slightly more fancy than my daily clothes should work.
I have to dig much deeper into my closet to find said clothing from not wearing it too often.
One of my favorite color is grabbed. Nope, that’s not it.
I move a few more. Wait, there it is! I move a few more pieces of clothing and grab it, pulling it out. Hopefully, it still fits. Welp, time to try. I take off my pajamas.
.
.
.
.
Like a glove. Perfect!
Just to make sure there are no new forgotten holes or something, I look at myself in my body mirror. Huh, I actually look pretty good in this! I might have to wear it more often. Something feels like it’s missing though. Maybe a ring or something would help?
I look over to the select few rings I have, including the forgotten one Ryo gave me. My heart slightly twinges at remembering they gave it as a best friends type of ring years ago. A ring with real blue topaz fitting my middle finger.
Might as well wear it. I slip it on and decide to leave my room, though they won’t be here for a while yet. Maybe Tadao will be around.
My body instinctively starts looking around for the familiar- oh, not again. Does he LIKE sleeping on the floor in the hall or something? I walk up to his sleeping form. I gently nudge him to move with my foot.
He groans, and curls his head deeper onto his arm, also bringing his legs up so he’s a ball. “Come on dude, I know your quirk is related to mold and all, but you’re not supposed to BECOME it.”
“I am one with the floor… I shall be the floor…” He mumbles, probably sleep talking.
I nudge him harder, making him open his eyes to look up at me. “Heyyy Y/N. What time is it?” He sluggishly asks.
I check my phone. “Already half-past noon.”
That got his attention. Both of his eyes snapped open as he shot to sit up. He grabs his rather cracked phone and looks at it. There are a few messages on the screen without him unlocking it. They’re impossible to read as he seems frantic after looking at them. “Already!? Man, I gotta get ready! I’ll be late for work!”
I don’t even get the chance to ask him anything since he gets to his feet and sprints off past my door, probably to his.
Glancing at Ryo’s door, the thought of checking on them arises. No, they’re deciding on acting out like this. Crawling to them could only continue this childish way again at some point. Ugh, what to do now though? It will be boring to just sit around for the next few hours. The park could be good for a few hours.
The villains around though? Nah. Welp, more computer time.
Familiar brown hair in the corner of my eye catches my attention before returning to my door. It’s the woman that glared at me with Hizashi at the studio. What’s she doing around here? Never saw her around before, and she doesn’t exactly strike me as the type to like parties. Funny if she’s attracted to Hizashi like he told me.
She keeps her glare on me as she… Knocks on Ryo’s door? Oh hell no. There’s no way Ryo is hanging out with someone like that. I’m proven wrong though as Ryo opens the door and pulls them in without looking at me.
I- What? What’s going on lately?
Also, okay, what the ever-loving fuck Ryo!?
Calm down, give them the benefit of the doubt. Maybe the woman hasn’t told Ryo anything about my work, and maybe it can just be a sudden meeting they did at one point, and it’s an opposites attract type of friendship. After all, I haven’t really been around. They were bound to try to find someone else to hang out with I suppose. Should this be a concern to bring up with Hizashi and Shouta though?
I stand there still staring at Ryo’s door and blink confusedly. They couldn’t have found anyone better to hang out with? Even a villain would have been better than her in my opinion. Sure, more trouble from me being around two- basically three- heroes could arise, but I’d be willing to keep that kind of secret for them. But this? This gives me a bad feeling.
What if she’s the reason Ryo is acting so odd?
Next Sunday will be the day to get some answers from them. If they will talk to me, that is.
------------------------------------------------------------
Time seems to slip by while being on my computer. My phone notifies me of a text message. I look at it to see it’s from Hizashi.
“Hitoshi’s coming in to get ya! We’re waiting!” My eyes widen noticing it’s already past six at night.
I try to text him ASAP to not let Hitoshi come in. They won’t be happy with my living place. “That will be fine, call him off. I’ll be out shortly.”
“Too late! Sorry!”
I sigh. He doesn’t even know which one mine is! I put my computer away and quickly left. Looking left and right, there’s familiar purple hair far down on the right. Obviously, it’s Hitoshi. He is staring with great disgust at the peeling walls and ripped-up flooring.  Oh boy, it’s probably a disaster with what is about to happen in the vehicle now.
The hallway is rather dimly lit now, making it slightly hard to see, but it’s easy to tell he’s wearing a suit matching his eye color. I’m feeling pretty underdressed now.
“Hey, Hitoshi. You could have waited outside. Uh… You probably should have no offense.”
He glares at a piece of wall that falls off onto the floor. “How do you live in this?”
I shrug. “Eh, you get used to it,” I noticed his frustrated expression. He’s about to ask me why I don’t move or something since I clearly could with my pay. “And before you say anything, I rather like it here. It’s where a lot of my closest friends are.”
His eyes narrow at me. “You could still visit instead of living here.”
Someone jumps upstairs, making the place shake, and a piece of the ceiling on this level chips off and falls next to the wall piece on the floor.
“That’s new,” I comment. It’s true, the ceiling has never fallen before. Makes me wonder when this whole building is going to collapse. Bit worried for my friends here now.
Hitoshi looks at me like I just told him the world is going to end tomorrow.
I start walking to the exit, having Hitoshi follow behind me too closely for my taste. Makes sense if he’s doing it for my protection, but he obviously doesn’t know these people as I do. He almost could be felt against my back. “You mind standing back a bit? You’re rather close.”
He does, but just barely.
It doesn't take long for us to get to the vehicle. Just like before, I get in the center and hug Eri. The slight light in the car makes it hard to see her dress, but I'm pretty sure it's a bright silverish blue. The light wasn't on long enough to notice the two up front.
They do seem to notice Hitoshi in a slightly on edge type of way. For the moment the light was on.
"What's wrong, little hypno-man?"
"Their apartment is not fitting to live in."
"What?" Hizashi's tone almost drastically changes. I'm glad I can't see them right now. I focus on the scenery past Hitoshi to try ignoring the growing unease of him whistleblowing to them.
"It's falling apart. A part of the wall fell to the floor. The inside is much worse than the outside."
"Why are you still living there? You can easily move with the money we give you." Shouta pipes up.
"Because I like living there. It's a walking distance from your place, and all my friends are there."
"You could visit them some other time if you moved. We'd pay a bus for you if needed."
"Exactly! Or I could drive ya to our place! It wouldn't be a problem, and it would give me a little somethin' to do while the grump wakes up in the morning!"
I don't feel comfortable at the thought of having to rely on them like that. They're already so busy themselves, it really wouldn't be fair to them despite what they say.
“Uh… no. Thanks for the offer, but my place is good for now.”
The air is rather tense, telling me that they want to push more on the subject, but decide not to for now.
I decided to bring up what happened earlier.  “Remember that bad woman from before?”
“You mean Chiyo?” Shouta spits her name with such hate, someone would think he’d murder her if he could. Hizashi must have told him about our meeting in his studio. Wait, Isn’t that a first name?
As if reading my mind, Hizashi answers for Shouta. “She doesn’t deserve the respect of last name. What about her?”
“I discovered today she might be hanging out with one of my closest friends that doesn’t seem to be too happy with me lately. Isn’t it a bit of a concern she might tell them that I babysit for you guys?”
“That’s confidential information. Like it was said to you before you started, you can’t tell anyone our identities. They can get into serious trouble if they do, and they signed a contract accepting they wouldn’t.” Shouta replies.
“That’s good to know.” I say, sounding relieved. They could be told how Ryo thinks they’re bad parents for me babysitting so often, but that’s something that probably doesn’t need to be brought up. Especially if she can’t tell Ryo about it.
Hizashi pulls up and parks in front of the restaurant we must be dining in. wait- fuck, I’ve heard of this place. It’s one of the most expensive restaurants around here! We exit and enter the restaurant. The first thing I noticed was how well-dressed the two men were. Shouta was wearing a navy blue suit, white undershirt, and a light brown tie. Oddly, he’s also wearing glasses. When did he need glasses?
Hizashi was wearing a cream-colored suit with a dark grey undershirt and a tie matching his eye color. Looking at the four of them and the others around, I am… severely underdressed. Doesn’t feel much better with everyone that stares at me from their tables for a moment.
Wait- Hizashi’s. Hair. Is. Fully. Down. I whip my head towards Hitoshi and glare in betrayal.
He notices with a smirk, and puts his hands in front of himself in mock-defense. “Don’t look at me. He was there then, just didn’t speak.”
My eyes narrow. “So it really WASN’T the T.V.” Seriously though!? That’s so embarrassing! He must have heard everything!
Him and Hizashi chuckle at me, making me feel worse.
A woman comes up from the counter. “Please tell me the name of your reservation.”
“The Aizawa’s.” Um… I’m not exactly a part of this family? Well, it does make sense though I guess just to do a last name. Hizashi smirks at Shouta while he glares in return.
“Right this way please.” She starts to lead the five of us to a table farther in the back. The enormous chandeliers overhead from the really tall ceiling are slightly intimidating if I’m to be honest. Each crystal is taller than Hizashi from the top of his hair in his hero costume to his feet.
The white and gold walls of the place give a surprisingly calming type of effect. It’s rather cool in here as well. Probably to help combat the ones who wear layers of clothes to be more fancy or something.
“You couldn’t have chosen anything else?” Shouta hisses quietly enough for the woman not to hear, but I’m close enough that I can. I’m right between them from behind while Hitoshi and Eri are behind me. I can swear Hitoshi keeps trying to nudge me forward closer to them.
“Aw, don’t worry ‘bout it babe! Besides, you and I both know you’re known much less than me! This way they won’t know us!” He leans even closer to Shouta. “And don’t deny it, you know you like the thought of me bein’ called an Aizawa~”
I can see red start to cover the side of Shouta’s face even though he tries his best to hide and prevent it. Ha! Now he’s the one to be embarrassed!
I let out a chuckle, making Hizashi turn and give me a toothy grin.
We get to a table with booth seats. The color of them is surprisingly similar to Eri’s dress.
I go to sit with Hitoshi and Eri, but like before, Hizashi grabs my wrist and has me sit between him and Shouta. Why do you keep doing this to me dude!? Shouta is on my right by the wall with Hizashi on my left by the opening.
Eri is sitting by the wall with Hitoshi by the opening in front of us. I didn’t notice before, but her dress has some candy apple red jewels the shape of diamonds, adorning the dress even more than it already was. Must be new since it’s never been seen by me before.
… I don’t like the closeness of the two men beside me again. Saying it is uncomfortable is an understatement. A difference than before is the heat of their thighs radiating through their pants onto mine.
The woman hands us menus. “Someone will be here to take your orders shortly.”
I try to brush them off while looking at the menu.
“Hey Y/N, are ya datin’ anyone?”
“Maybe.” They don’t need to know I’m not.
“That’s a yes or no question.” Shouta states with slight annoyance. He must have forgotten I told him I’m not the day he was sick.
“They better not be a villain. We’d hate to have to do something to you and them. Better be honest, you’re not looking the best right now.” Hitoshi accuses.
What the heck Hitoshi!? You’re just going to turn on me like this!? Why I ought to come over there and smack the back of your head myself!
My saving grace as the waiter comes- Tadao!? This is where he works!? He comes up to our table with a notepad in front of him. "Hello, I’m Ito, and I’ll be your waiter for tonight. What can I get you started with?”
“Tadao, you work here?”
His head snaps up from the notepad, and looks at me. “Oh hey, Y/N!” His face becomes a smirk. “What happened to calling me glowstick?”
“Well, you’re not really glowing right now in this light, are you?”
“Ha, you got me there.”
The three men look between us with some look I don’t really understand.
“Ya know each other?”
“You could say we’re close.” Tadao informs. They grow rather deep frowns at the news.
He clears his throat and brings his notepad up. “What drinks could I start you guys with?” We each tell him our drinks and he writes them down. “All right, drinks coming right up!” He leaves to go get them.
“He’s one of the reasons I don’t move out of my apartment. Especially now. We’ve become really close recently.”
“You should stay away from him. He seems like bad news.” Hitoshi informs.
??? huh? “Why, do you know he has a villain record or something?”
“He could be using you. Stay away from him or we might have to make sure he doesn’t do anything.”
Okay, THAT pisses me off. “First of all, you guys can’t tell me who I can and can’t hang out with outside of babysitting hours. Second of all, I’d really appreciate it if you guys could be less judging of him, because he has never done anything even slightly villainous whenever we met.” My slightly edged tone makes them back off the topic. I wanted to add third of all being he walks with me at night to our apartment place, but that seems like a bad idea if their reaction is this so far.
It grows awkwardly silent between us all for a moment. Maybe I should have kept the others to myself too, but damn it, they need to have more respect for my decisions they were never a part of, and have no need to be a part of.
Tadao comes with our drinks. He places them down, and Hizashi immediately takes a big drink of his.
“Here you guys go, and one drink for one special person.” He jokingly winks at me.
I roll my eyes in response. “Sometimes I truly wonder if I hate you.” I tease.
He rolls his eyes in return. “Admit it, you know you love me.”
Hizashi chokes on his drink. I don’t help him from still being a bit upset. He should be fine anyways after a bit.
He does, and is able to manage keeping his quirk down as well.
“Do I?” I question teasingly.
The three men glare at him. Sheesh, what’s their problem?
He seems rather uncomfortable by it and leaves in a rush immediately after taking our orders. After I almost had a heart attack from the beyond insane prices, of course. Even the cheapest thing is over half the money I’m given a day for babysitting.
I’m getting pretty upset with these guys right now. Starting to wonder if they got hit with some odd quirk again or something.
That calms me down a bit since it would kind of make sense that’s why they’re acting odd. How long will it last though? Better not be long. I don’t know if I can handle them like this without losing my mind.
“Hey, Y/N. We have something for you,” Hitoshi pipes up, and nods towards Hizashi.
“Right!” He reaches into one of his pockets and pulls out a… necklace? It has my favorite type of jewel in it, encased behind and around the edges with what looks like real gold. A different shine is on it, like something is covering the gold to prevent it from easily being destroyed by weather or wear. The shape is in a rather large teardrop. It looks custom-made as well. Never seen anything even close to what this looks like before.
“It’s a gift!” Eri cheerfully chimes in.
“That she helped us pick for you.” Shouta informs.
Please don’t tell me it’s authentic. It looks real though. I can’t even begin to imagine the price of what it must have cost to create it if it is real. “I’m sorry, but I can’t accept this! It feels too much like I’m just using you guys if I do!”
The three of them frown. Even Eri seems a bit disappointed.
Eri asking me my favorite jewel kind of makes sense now, but why would they want to give this to me?
“C’mon, let’s put it on ya!” He hands it over to Hitoshi and stands up, pulling me to stand up with him. Hitoshi stands as well.
“Did you guys not hear me? I- I can’t accept it!”
Hizashi shakes his head. “Don’t be so worried, dear little lovesong! We want you to have it! Ya can’t just say no, we spent too much for it to go to waste now!”
Hitoshi goes behind me with the necklace and is able to put it on while I’m still rather reluctant to accept such a gift.
Eri’s eyes almost seem to sparkle when the clasp gets shut on it. “You look amazing!”
I freeze in my tracks to notice everyone is staring at us yet again. This time with slightly different reactions. A couple of them seem to be with envy, making me want to shrivel up and hide in a hole, and others seem to be appreciative I have something more expensive than my clothes now or something.
At least Shouta seems to give me mercy by pulling me back down in the booth and glaring at them all in such a way that they all stop staring. I’m feeling a bit like a ragdoll at this point.
Hitoshi joins him, making sure they truly stop. The glare combined of those two could probably curdle the blood of All Might himself.
The restaurant seems to grow quiet between all of us.
I decide to escape by using the bathroom. Hizashi didn’t have time to sit back down before it was necessary. “Stay here, it won’t take me long.” They still seem reluctant to let me go alone.
Getting to the bathrooms, I didn’t have to go, just wanted to get out of the stares and whispers for a little bit. Despite the men’s glares, of course there was still going to be gossip of someone in here who looks so out of place.
“Hey, Y/N, be careful around them, alright? They’re pretty strange.” Pipes up the familiar voice of Tadao behind me.
I play dumb. He probably shouldn’t know I know they must have been hit with some kind of quirk. “How do you know? They could just be being cautious since their children are with.”
“I admit, I did watch you a bit at the festival. More so the men you were with when they came. Something about them isn’t... “ He seems to be struggling with figuring out how to explain it. “It’s wrong. I just can’t quite put my finger on what it is. Again, just be careful, alright?”
I just nod and enter the bathroom.
A bit after cooling off, I go back to the dinner table, them all still waiting and chatting about school. Well, Shouta being nearly silent as usual. Hizashi quickly stands up to let me sit between them again. Ugh, I really don’t want to.
Yet I do, just to be kind. The least I can do is sit through this since they went through the effort of such a gift, even though to me it seems highly unnecessary.
Tadao comes with our food not much later with a secret frown on his face. He’s smiling, but I’ve learned him well enough by now it’s worry he has instead of a cheerful personality. It slightly drops to reveal his true emotions when he notices the guys glaring at him yet again. He doesn’t say a word, just drops all of the food off and leaves.
This feels like a really ruined dinner, even though this food is incredibly good. The atmosphere has definitely become shit. I seem to be the only one to notice. Hizashi looks over towards me and gives me another grin, not giving much comfort. What’s worse is every time I stop for a moment and rest my hand on my lap, Shouta seems to try to grab it. It led me to just keeping the utensil for my dinner in my hand.
I’ll have to apologize to Tadao for their behavior tomorrow. Easier said than done since I still can’t exactly tell him who they are. Cursed contract.

taglist-
@dabi-s-whore, @angelicblackwolf, @fuegy-fuegy
Double fun fact- Did you know slapping someone’s back if they’re choking is actually worse than letting them try to get it out themselves, especially if it’s food? The food can actually get lodged deeper in their throat at the impact. Huh, First Aid is quite interesting.

Welcome To The Family (5/???)
1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / here
Had no idea how to connect with Aizawa. Hopefully, this works. Sorry about my hyperfixation on this.
Warnings- some swearing
---------------------------------------------------------------
I get ready for yet another day of babysitting Eri. Thinking back on the festival yesterday, the uncomfortable feeling between the two men is something I’d rather not experience again if possible. They’re together as well, so why did Hizashi put me between them? I could have sat on the other side of him if he wanted me beside him so bad. Don’t think Aizawa was too happy about it either with the narrow look he gave me, now that I think about it. It’s best to try to avoid those situations in the future.
While in my mind, I didn’t notice my friend in front of me and bumped into them. Ryo doesn’t look too good. They have bigger eyebags than I’ve ever seen and are frowning with their arms crossed. “Glad to catch you. I stayed up all night waiting for you.”
“Ryo, whatever it is, you could have just texted or called me.”
They frown deeper. “I’ve been trying to stay happy for you, I really have. I and a few of the others really miss you hanging out with us. We’ll even blast your favorite song the whole day and night. Just… Please join us for a whole day once again.”
I knew what they were getting at. Damn it, guilt is really starting to rise in me. I desperately want to hang out with them, but that stupid dinner I’m pretty much forced to go to this Sunday… Ugh, why couldn’t they wait until next Sunday!? “I’m sorry, Ryo, but they want me to babysit the kids again this Sunday. I told them I’m not available next Sunday though! We can hang out then!”
Their frown goes deeper than ever seen by me. “Come on, Y/N! We haven’t had a day to hang out properly in like, what? Months? Every time you return you’re too tired to join us. Those damn kids can go ONE. DAY. without you taking care of them. Don’t you think you’ve done enough for them yet!? The only day we had was Sunday, but for the last few you’ve been stuck with them AGAIN. For how much you take care of them, the adults shouldn’t even HAVE them!”
I nearly snapped at them for the last thing they said. They seem angry though, so I try to not let it get to me too much, or it could end badly for both of us.
It’s easy to tell they all care for each other, and taking one of them away from their little family would be greatly unethical. What also holds me back is remembering Ryo doesn’t know the story of the kids, or that the adults are heroes and teachers. Man, I wish I could tell them. Surprised they haven’t made the connection themselves yet of at least figuring out they’re teachers. “Their jobs are highly demanding. Trust me, they’d much rather be with their kids if they could. I’ve seen how they act towards them.”
“That doesn’t mean shit. For all you know, it could just be a front!”
I shake my head. “Don’t think so. Pretty sure one of them would be incredibly bad at acting.”
They glare at me. “Whatever you think.” They then storm off, leaving more guilt to eat away at me. Ugh, I feel like crying out of frustration.
The mold-quirked male comes up to me when Ryo leaves. “Sorry about them. They’re kinda in a bad spot with the police right now. They got a little too drunk and spat at an officer yesterday.”
“Again? I thought they learned their lesson last time from me scolding them.”
“Sadly, no. I think they’re losing control since their impulse control is gone.”
Now I’m more annoyed than guilt-ridden. Ryo is a few years older than me. They shouldn’t be such a child about it and need my help when they decide to drink too much. “Thanks for informing me, uh… sorry, I don’t think you ever told me your name.”
His eyes widened in realization. “Oh! Right! Just call me by my first name, Tadao.”
First name basis off the bat is a little weird, but he says it, so sure. “Right! Tadao, Can you keep an eye on them for me still? I’m still rather busy as you might have noticed.”
He nods. “I can do that. Just do me a favor, and try to take it easy for yourself one of these days. You seem a little worn out yourself recently.”
I shrug. “It’s more of what’s happened lately, and what’s on my mind I think.”
He seems unsure about my answer if anything about his dark brown eyes is to go by. He just nods again though and goes to follow Ryo.
I push what just happened to the back of my mind and head towards their home again. After the Ferris Wheel yesterday, Hizashi gave me a key and told me to use it to enter their house from now on since they might be too busy to answer the door. They haven’t had trouble answering the door before, but I’ve learned by now to not question Hizashi’s sporadic way of mind. It doesn’t ease the discomfort that I feel like I’m intruding by randomly entering their house though.
I unlock the door and enter to see a rather concerned Eri hugging the new stuffed animal with the dog and the bunny. “Hey, Eri. What’s wrong?”
It looks like she’s torn from being happy to see me, to having great worry. “Dad’s sick.”
Aizawa’s sick? He was just fine yesterday. I think she calls Aizawa “dad” and Hizashi “daddy” if I’ve noticed correctly. Sometimes it’s really confusing having same-sex parents and trying to know which they’re referring to. “Is Aizawa okay?” I ask, just to be sure it’s the right one.
She nods.
Hitoshi comes into the living room. “He’ll be fine. It was a quirked villain from the ambush yesterday. It’s not contagious, but he’s not allowed to go to the school for twenty-four hours. The principal said he’d have the other teachers kick him out if he enters the school. Even Recovery Girl and no one wants to deal with her wrath.”
“Recovery… Girl?”
He looks like he wants to slap himself. “Right. Uh… She’s the healer after our fights basically.”
“The name makes sense then.”
He nods. “In his shape, he can’t take care of Eri though, so we didn’t tell you to not come.”
“Sounds good,” I smirk, though internally I’m cringing at the thought of being alone with the quiet man. “So, you guys want me to check in on him a few times today as well I’m guessing?”
He rubs the back of his neck. “If you wouldn’t mind, that is. It’s obviously not something you’re hired for.”
I shrug. “It should be fine. I don’t think he’ll be very demanding of me doing things for him if I know him well enough by now.”
Hitoshi smirks in reply to me. “He’s too stubborn to even take cough medicine.”
“I didn’t expect anything different.” Seems rather childish though for a full-grown man. Not like I’d ever say that to his face though.
Hizashi comes out of what must be their bedroom and sees me. “Heya, little lovesong! Did these two fill ya in already?”
Love… song? What’s with the sudden nickname? He always seems to call people “listeners” or whatever, so maybe it’s just a more friendly type of thing?
He also makes his arms go outstretched and looks at me expectantly. He wants me to hug him? Again, this is really sudden.
Screw it, it won’t hurt anything, right? It’s just a hug. I hug him.
He squeezes a little too tightly and wouldn’t let me go for an almost awkward amount of time, even when I try to pull away.
I pat his back to try to get him to let go. “That’s long enough I think. You might want to go before you and Hitoshi are late for school.”
He lets go. “Right! C’mon, little Hypno-man!”
“Little? I’m almost as tall as you.”
“But you’re not yet!” He shouts as he bolts out the door. Hitoshi quickly goes after him. It just leaves a silence between Eri and me. I shake my head at their antics and look at Eri. “Do you think they even left him a glass of water or something before taking off?”
“Daddy gave him water before. A long time ago.”
A long time ago probably means a few hours at most. I sigh. Better check on him then. I go towards the door of their bedroom and knock on it. He doesn’t answer. Oh well, he must not need anything that badly. No, I’m not just trying to stay away from him as much as possible.
I go to walk away, but Eri gently grabs my hand and leads me back to the bedroom door.
“Why do you keep staying away from dad?” she asks.
“What do you mean?” I ask, trying to play dumb. She doesn’t need to know about adult things yet, such as not everyone will like someone. That should be their job to teach her. “Toshi and daddy notice you avoid him. He’s not mean though!”
Do I really have to tell her? Her questioning eyes are begging me to answer.
“It’s just… I don’t think your dad likes me very much. There will always be people who don’t like a person for one reason or another. I don’t know why your dad doesn’t like me, but I respect his decision and want to let him keep his space.”
“But dad doesn’t hate you!” She huffs.
That's a surprise to me. “Unless he tells me otherwise, I’m going to keep believing he does. And honestly, your dad kinda scares me.”
She looks away. “He can be kinda mean sometimes,” she looks back at me. “But he really cares for people!”
A part of me doubts it, but another part can kind of see it, especially with how he acts with Eri and Hitoshi.
I decided to try changing the topic. “I’ll check him in a bit. He probably doesn’t want to be bothered right now. Let’s go play with your stuffed animals for now.” I try to walk away again.
Yet again, she grabs my hand and drags me to the door. She opens it without knocking and makes me enter as well. I noticed the rather large bed before anything. It couldn’t have been a king. Definitely something bigger than that. It has a light red and black blanket covering the whole bed, including the paler-than-usual man under it. His eyes are open and looking at us, but surprisingly, he’s not glaring. I thought he would be from an interrupted entry…
I notice the empty glass on the nightstand next to him. “I’ll get you more water.” I then grab the glass and go to the kitchen. Eri stayed in the bedroom. While filling the glass, one of the cats rubs their head against my leg. The white eyebrows make me know who it is instantly. “Hey, Oreo! Why don’t you come to help your dad?” I ask him and shut off the sink after the glass is nearly full.
I pick him up with my free arm and carry them back into the bedroom. He immediately jumps out of my arms and goes onto the bed. Aizawa almost seems to grow a weak smile at the sight of the cat. I set the glass down back on the nightstand.
“Thanks.” He rasps, catching my surprise. I really wasn’t expecting him to thank me for it. He didn’t strike me as the type. He drinks some of it.
It’s quiet between us, and I want to do nothing but leave him be before the awkwardness gets worse. Plus, he needs all the rest he can get to heal faster. Or is the quirk he was struck with a time-based thing regardless?
Eri suddenly gets up from sitting on the floor and tugs me so she could whisper in my ear. “Talk to him!”
“I don’t think he…” I lock eyes with Aizawa who is surprisingly still not asleep and sigh. I have no idea what to talk to him about. What do you talk about to someone who has hardly ever said a word to you?
I then remember the explosive kid and nearly being hit. It’s worth a shot bringing him up I guess. “Had a close call with one of your students yesterday. Don’t know his name, but he nearly blew up my face if Midoriya wasn’t there.”
Despite his state, his eyes widen a sufficient amount.
“Toshi isn’t happy with him.” Eri pipes up with her arms crossed.
“No harm was done though, right? At least he didn’t hit me,” I shiver remembering his expression. “I’d rather not be in the line of his wrath again though. It’s terrifying to the point I almost feel bad for anything he goes against.”
“Bakugou.” He’s able to hiss it with annoyance. Okay, glad he doesn’t seem annoyed with me the same way he is with that kid.
Bakugou? Isn’t that one of the kids Midoriya told me causes the most problems in his class? “So he must be one of the kids you like to call “problem children”. Midoriya told me you call him that as well. Don’t know how he’s one, but I know if you call him that, you have a really good reason, so I’m not going to comment on it.”
“You seem rather… connected with Midoriya.” He says “connected” like it leaves a bad taste in his mouth.
“Oh yeah! He’s a good kid. He comes around frequently with Togata,” His eyes narrow and my fond mention of Togata. He better not be getting the wrong idea, I don’t see either of them that way for obvious reasons. “It’s so great they’re able to wear dresses so comfortably. Well, Midoriya is still a bit uncomfortable, but we’ve been working on his self-esteem with Togata. I also still have to thank him for saving me from the Bakugou kid. I don’t think that could be fixed with him though from the feral energy he gives off.”
“Still have to-” he coughs. “Work on that then. He won’t be able to get anywhere if he keeps nearly injuring innocents.”
I smile at him. “I wish you the most luck with him then. You’re definitely going to need it.”
He replies with a slight nod and closes his eyes. Oreo climbs onto Aizawa’s chest and starts purring. He brings one of his arms out of the covers and pets Oreo. The cat’s purring gets louder in appreciation.
Eri lights up. “I’ll go get Mochi and Sundae!” She bolts out of the room. No! Come ba- and she’s gone.
For one stupid reason or another, I feel like confiding with him right now.
“You know, I hate to admit it, but I’m rather envious of you,” He quirks an eye open to look at me. “You have such a lovely family and a significant other that greatly cares about you. I can only hope to have a relationship like you and Hizashi in the future. It’s going to be so strange when I leave your family.”
His other eye opens to fully look at me. His eyes flash some sort of emotion I can’t read. Maybe I overstepped a boundary or said too much about myself? Shit…
“Uh… Sorry about that, Aizawa. That’s probably something stupid to go off about or to bother you with...”
“Shouta.”
“Huh?” I question, just to be sure I was correct in hearing him.
“Shouta. It’s-” he coughs again. “illogical for me to be the only one not called by my first name,” He looks at Oreo, then back at me. “You’re a part of our family. Even Oreo likes you. Sometimes not even I can pick him up.”
“A part of?... No, you’re thinking too much into it. I’m just a sitter that likes taking care of Hitoshi and Eri.”
He slightly shakes his head. “Same thing with Hitoshi. He’s never let anyone but us call him his first name. You’re different.”
I’m having a hard time accepting I’m special in any way. They must just be slightly delusional or something from having multiple bad sitters before. “I’m sure if you got a sitter similar to me, he’d have done the same thing with them.”
“Doubtful. For one, you’re the first that’s not us to not fear Hitoshi for his-” he coughs yet again. “quirk.”
Maybe I should make him stop talking so he can rest before more damage can possibly be done to his throat.
“I found Mochi!” Eri yells from somewhere outside of the room. She enters the bedroom, waddling like she did before with Mochi in her arms. He’s nearly being dragged on the floor, but only seems uninterested in helping her move. She seems to be having a slightly easier time than before carrying him. Not sure if he’s lost some weight, or if she’s gotten stronger. Maybe even both.
I laugh and go over to her to help her carry him. He’s still rather heavy. Heavy enough to cause a rather large dip in the bed when we place him on it. We place him down by Shouta’s feet. He doesn’t even move. Just flops onto his belly where he’s placed. I go over back by Shouta’s side, since that’s closer to the exit of the bedroom. I still feel like I’m intruding in their bedroom.
She immediately takes off again out of the room.
“Eri! I don’t think-” I’m interrupted by Shouta gently grabbing my hand. His hand is rather rough- probably calloused- and rather clammy. Most likely from him being ill. Uh… This is weird.
“It’s fine. The cats are a good distraction,” He lets it go before I can try to pull away. “That’s another thing. Even Eri bonded with you rather quickly. I’ve never seen her so happy to see someone besides us or Midoriya and Togata.”
I shrug. “It’s the previous sitters’ faults for not caring for her. She’s beyond adorable, and I honestly had the thought if something were to happen to her, I’d kill everyone in the room, then myself on my first day.”
He exhales his breath, almost like a chuckle. “Zashi says the same about you.”
I have no idea what to say to that. Oh! He must mean Hizashi would do the same thing for Eri, his mind is just mixed up on his words from his illness. Sounds a lot more logical than someone admitting they really like an adult they just met back then.
Eri comes in with the last and final cat, Sundae. He seems a little more uninterested in being in here than the other two. At least until Eri places him on the bed, and he sees the other two. He jumps onto Shouta’s stomach and tries to push Oreo off to take his spot on Shouta’s chest.
I can’t help but laugh. “You need a little help there?”
He grows the tiniest smile again. “No.” He pulls out his other arm from under the blanket and uses it to pet the other cat as well. That seems to do the trick as he stops trying to push Oreo off.
He coughs yet again. I feel rather bad he has to deal with it. “Would you like some tea maybe? It’s not cough medicine, but it might help your cough a bit more than the water is.”
He turns his head back towards us. His eyes again showing that unreadable emotion. “That's another thing. You’re caring. You’ve respected us the most. You didn’t even try pushing me to tolerate your presence, just accepted it.” Okay, that’s enough talking from you, you need to rest more. I swear, if he’s the type that suddenly has the urge to clean the house when sick… I’d do absolutely nothing. I obviously can’t do much against a man with years of grueling training, even when he’s sick. Might have Eri help me scold him though.
“I’ll get the tea. And do us both a favor, stop talking for now. It’s honestly great hearing you talk more for once, but now is really not the best time.”
“No promises.”
-----------------------------------------------------------------
The rest of the day was rather uneventful, other than checking up on him a few other times. With how frequently he talked, I started to wonder if he and Hizashi somehow swapped minds. He must be one of those odd people who seem to be more talkative when sick, as clearly found out.
Leaving their house, my body freezes at the familiar feeling of being watched. For a moment, I wonder about going back into their house and asking them to bring me to my home. No, I can’t do that to them. They've already had a long day.
… At least, that’s how I felt at first. But the farther I walked, the more I wished I did. Fuck, the feeling won’t. Leave. Taking out my phone, Hitoshi is the first one to come up in my contacts.
“Hey, Y/N! Fancy seeing you around here. Heading home, huh?” Asked a familiar voice behind me. That feeling was still around, but just knowing Tadao was with me helped. I turn to face him. His hair was… Glowing green? It made him look like a glowstick, and made me wonder how I’ve never seen his hair do this before. Never met him in the dark though.
He laughs at my expression. “Mold isn’t the only thing my body can absorb. It can also do the same with fungus. Found out years ago I can make my hair glow from the bioluminescent fungus. Cool, huh?”
I smile at him. “Definitely! But you know I now have to call you glowstick, right?”
He groans. “Man, was really hoping to escape that, but I guess it’s deserved, huh?”
“It really is your fault if you don’t naturally have it.”
Because of his glowing hair, it was easy to tell he rolls his eyes. “Anyway, wanna walk with me back to the apartments? Just got off of work myself today.”
“Well, it would make sense, wouldn’t it?”
“Yep.”
We start walking.
“How’s Ryo holding up?”
He sighs. “Not well. Really starting to question their mental state. They told me this morning they don’t even want to talk to you for a few days.”
My face quickly becomes a frown. “Seriously? They’re going to act like this now?”
He shrugs. “Try not to let it get to you. We both know they can be overdramatic at times.”
I sigh. “I hate that you’re right.”

Welcome To The Family (4/???)
1/ 2/ 3 here
Note- This festival is a different one than the festival arc.  Sorry if the ending seems kinda sudden. Didn’t really know how to end it.
--------------------------------------------------------------
I’m unsure what time exactly they will be here. They probably should have told me that before, now that I think about it. Luckily, everyone is passed out by sunrise so that’s not an issue of them seeing who is in the vehicle. My issue is them possibly entering here, so I should probably wait outside.
On my way to get outside, I run into the mold-quirked male. He’s passed out on the floor in the hall. His really long, oddly-textured white hair sprawled everywhere around him. I’ve never touched it, but just by looking at it, the hair seems weird. It looks like what fuzzy mold possibly feels like if that makes sense. Makes me wonder if his hair IS mold. Gross, no thanks.
I wonder whether to wake him or let him sleep. I decided to just let him sleep and walk over his body.
Exiting the building, it was like there was never loud music blaring, or even a party. No mess anywhere. That must be how they get away with it.
I brought my money with me to play a few games, but nothing extreme. Of course, I should be safe around three heroes, but not taking any chances is still the better option than bringing all of it.
It only takes a few minutes for the familiar black car to pull up. Being texted they were on their way would have been nice, but beggars can’t be choosers. Hitoshi exits the car for me to get in.
I’m greeted by the very happy smile of Eri. That will never be a tiring sight to see. I buckle up and lean over since her arms are outstretched for a hug.
From the view of Aizawa in the front, he’s dressed decently today, and even his hair looks much tidier than I’ve ever seen it. The same for the first time he’s wearing something besides his hero outfit. No doubt Hizashi made him do it, or even more likely he did it for Aizawa himself. He still has that scarf though. I resist the urge to laugh at the thought of him unwillingly being tidied up by Hizashi.
In speaking of Hizashi, I’ve never seen his hair not standing up before. It’s a good look in the half-bun, but I wonder what it would look like fully down. Nope, don’t think too far into that. That’s kinda weird.
“Morning Y/N!” Hizashi exclaims.
“Morning guys! What’s planned first when we get there?”
“Eri wants to get a candy apple. She loves them after last time.”
I look at her. “Candy apples? Why did you never tell me? We could have made those at some point before.”
“It should be more of a treat than a daily thing,” Aizawa says.
“Says the one who pretty much lives off jelly pouches,” Hizashi informs.
“Like you’re much better with forgetting sometimes to eat at all.” Aizawa shoots back at him.
Jelly pouches? How in the world is he still in such great shape then? Obviously fighting and training often helps, but that sounds like multiple deficiencies just waiting to happen. Same with Hizashi. Jeez, these two seem rather irresponsible sometimes. At least they’re focused on their kids since I’ve never heard Eri telling me they forgot to feed her.
“You know how to make them?” Hitoshi asks.
I look at him and nod. “Yep. I helped a friend in the past who was in a candy apple tournament with their other friends. Whoever could make the coolest-looking ones wins. They sadly got second place, but to me, galaxy apples look a lot cooler than the tree candy apples that won. You couldn’t even bite the top of the silly things without breaking your teeth!”
Eri gasps and puts a hand on her mouth in the thought of breaking her teeth.
“Don’t worry. I wouldn’t make them even if I could.”
She nods relieved.
We get to the festival and Hizashi finds somewhere to park the car.
Walking around, I could swear we passed a few familiar faces to me. The games are rather interesting and pull me towards them, but we can go to them later since Eri wants a candy apple.
I notice Hizashi and Aizawa refraining from holding hands though they seem to want to. I try to come up with a reason for why that might be. Not very likely they’d be recognized by villains since they look like entirely different people. Hmm… Obviously, Hitoshi and Eri wouldn’t care.
The only other thing I can think of is their students. Of course, their students might be able to recognize them. Did they not tell their students they’re married or something? I know Midoriya wouldn’t care since I met him, but maybe there are a few in his class that wouldn’t be too open-minded about it? It’s not my place, whatever is the cause. I do feel a little bad though they can’t act normally.
Hizashi suddenly stops, making the rest of us stop, and pulls out his phone. He reads something with a frown forming on his face. He pockets it and looks at me. “Yo, Y/n? Could ya hang out with Hitoshi and Eri alone for a bit? Sho and I gotta go take care of something that came up.”
Hero work I’m guessing. Poor guys, they really can’t seem to catch a break. “Of course!”
They both then run back in the direction we came from. I look at Eri and Hitoshi. “Well, should we continue looking?”
Eri happily nods.
Hitoshi goes in front of me with Eri, probably leading the way since he seems to know where they are. I stay rather close behind them so no one gets between us and we lose each other from how crowded it seems to be in this area.
Over the music, I can swear I hear tiny explosions quickly getting louder, and maybe closer? Coming from behind me. I turn around to see people clearing from behind me to show an angry blond coming up incredibly quickly. Explosions crackling from his hands. His feral glaring face was enough to put so much fear in me that I freeze in my place. I clench my eyes closed and wait for an impact that no doubt is going to be painful.
“Kacchan, stop! They’re Eri’s babysitter!!!” A very familiar voice yells to the blond in front of me.
He stops with one of his hands millimeters from my face. I can hear the sizzling and feel the heat radiating off of it onto my face. I slowly open my eyes to meet his still-glaring ones.
… Isn’t he one of Aizawa’s and Hizashi’s students? I think he was one farther in the back frowning in the picture I saw on my first day.
In the blink of an eye, Hitoshi slightly pulls me back, and stands in front of me, preventing the blond from coming close again. Midoriya is running up to us as well. He tries to cheer me up by giving me a kind wave. It does little to help my still-panicked state.
Eri hugs me by my side in worry. I feel like fainting.
The blond becomes slightly less tense at realizing she’s hugging me.
“Hah? How the hell was I supposed to know with the way the damn extra was following so closely?”
“Uh… Kacchan, I don’t think Shinsou would be so open for attacks…”
The blond glares at him like Midoriya is the dumbest person on the planet. He refused to reply, and just storms off.
Midoriya looks at me and smiles sheepishly with one of his hands behind his head. “So sorry about that! Kacchan can be rather… headstrong when villains might be involved.”
I just shakily nod. “Uh… y-yeah, good first impression.”
Hitoshi’s face grows into one of great worry, and I think some anger. He puts one of his arms behind my back as a sort of comfort and support. Surprisingly, it helps a little bit.
“I think I need to sit down for a moment.”
“There should be some benches not too far from here,” Midoriya informs, and we get there after a bit. Miraculously, one of them was empty. I sit down with Hitoshi to the left of me. Eri sits on my right, clearly struggling in trying to figure out how to help.
Midoriya stands at my right, in front of Eri’s spot. He seems to be in thought for a moment. “Togata has a surprise the next time we come over. He found a new dress he wants you and Eri to judge.”
That sunshine adult makes me end up smiling slightly. Shinsou seems a bit annoyed at the mention of the kind blond. “Aw, that means Eri and I will have to make him another tiara so it will match his new dress.”
“I hope it’s poofy!” Eri chimes in.
I smile at her. “What color do you think it will be? Maybe it will be green! We should have one where we all wear green to match your tea set!”
Her eyes shine in excitement at the idea.
“I uh, I guess I have that covered,” Midoriya says.
“You know you don’t HAVE to wear a dress, right? I bet you’d look great in a green suit too! Ooh! You could be the beloved butler!”
“I think I’ll just stick with the dress I have… It was so awkward telling my mom about it back when I got it. I don’t know if I could ask her to buy something else too.”
Hitoshi gets a message on his phone and pulls it out. I’m too focused on Midoriya and Eri. Going on that idea of Togata helped calm me down greatly.
“That’s understandable. Suits can be rather expensive.”
“Midoriya?” Hitoshi suddenly pipes up.
“Yeah, Shinsou?”
“You might want to run. Ashido knows you’re here and wants to give you more dance lessons.”
His eyes widen fearfully, and he takes off while looking around.
“I didn’t get to hug him…” Eri says rather disappointedly.
“What’s wrong with dance lessons?” I question.
He has a rather large grin on his face. It kind of creeps me out a bit. How can someone be such a perfect combination of two adults that aren’t blood-related to them? “He usually doesn’t mind them, but recently they got struck with a personality-changing quirk. They became sterner than my dad.” It was easy to tell which dad he meant.
Just thinking of someone even more serious and stern than him is terrifying. I bet Aizawa isn’t too happy to be stuck dealing with that.
Hitoshi also seems rather relieved Midoriya has left. Wonder what’s up with that.
I look at Eri. “Well, why don’t we continue to find your candy apple now that things are a little more settled?”
She nods, and the three of us stand up.
It doesn’t take long to find them. They look rather unappealing compared to my friend’s homemade, but I’m not going to bring that up.
After Hitoshi gives it to her, she looks at it for a second, then looks at me. “What is your favorite jewel?” That’s an odd question out of nowhere. Then again, maybe the hard shell makes her think of rocks?
“Why do you want to know?”
She shrugs. “They’re so pretty. I like the red ones!”
Red like the candy apple? How cute. I tell her my favorite.
Hitoshi pulls out his phone and texts someone again. “Something is holding our parents up. It might be at least a few hours before they return.”
I feel rather bad for them for that. Being a hero is something I thank them for daily, but it must be so exhausting not being able to spend time with your family…
“Okay. What should we do then? I don’t think we should do any rides for now from Eri eating.”
Hitoshi shrugs. “The only thing we really can do is games unless there’s a different food you’re interested in getting here.”
I shake my head in reply.
Eri gently tugs at my clothes with her free hand. I look at her and she points at a prize in the shooting game. It’s a stuffed animal of my favorite creature. It’s also my favorite color, and even has a rather similar eye color to mine. Huh, what are the chances of that?
The game seems simple enough. Hitoshi notices what Eri is pointing at, and smirks at me. He crosses his arms. “Are you going to try first?”
I get the attention of the person behind the counter and pay, having them give me the corks. I load it and take another quick look at Hitoshi with a smirk myself. “Well, what does it look like? And I’m going to be the one that gets it for her!”
He teasingly huffs with a roll of his eyes. “Sure you will.”
I look back towards the prize and focus my aim.
… It misses. Not by much, but my aim is a little too high and too far to the right.
“You missed.” His tone isn’t condescending in any way.
“Yeah, yeah. I still have two tries.”
Looking again, I aim slightly down and more to the left.
… It missed again, but much closer this time. It’s the right height, but now I have it too far to the left.
“You missed, again.”
“Hush, you.” I don’t even have to look at him to know he has an enormous smirk forming on his face. I’ll show you!
I force my breathing to slow, focus a little longer, move just a tad to the right...
… Yes! I got it!
The person goes over and grabs it, giving it to me. I then give it to Eri which gives her an enormous smile on her face.
I give Hitoshi an “I-told-you-so” face.
“I would have gotten it on my first try.”
“Sure you would have.”
“Next time I’ll show you.”
“Mhm, whatever you say, Hitoshi.”
After that, we did a few more games and ended up going on a few of the rides. It was rather difficult due to Eri being too small for them. She was a little saddened by that, so I told her maybe she will be able to next year.
Hitoshi and I also ended up getting hungry at one point, so we bought some snacks. After taking a bite of what I bought, I look at the time. Surprisingly, about four hours have passed. I don’t think taking care of a villain should take this long, right? Maybe they got ambushed?
Don’t think about it. They’re pros. They should be able to handle anything.
In speaking of them, a message from Hizashi pops up on my phone. “Just about done here! Was a rather bad ambush, but we’re good! Gotta clear up a few more things, then we’ll be on our way!”
He put us in a group chat. Hitoshi is in it, and I’m guessing the other is Aizawa. He reads the message as well.
Eri is still playing around with her new stuffed animal.
“Should we do the same rides when your parents come?”
He shakes his head. “They will probably be rather tired when they return. Hizashi wanted to ride the Ferris Wheel with all of us more than anything.”
Why does that seem so accurate for him? “Really? The Ferris Wheel out of everything?”
He shrugs. “My other dad doesn’t really care. He’d rather sleep, but we all know Hizashi wouldn’t allow that.”
I laugh. “He seems like the type.”
A chill suddenly goes down my spine. Why do I feel like someone is watching us? Hitoshi notices my discomfort, and goes on alert, scanning the crowd around us. He doesn’t seem to see anything concerning. He pulls out his phone and quickly texts someone again, constantly glancing around.
“Don’t mean to be intrusive, but who are you texting?”
“My dads. I’m telling them to hurry up.”
Again, I feel bad for the two grown men. “It shouldn’t be too much of a problem. It’s probably just someone thinking they know me or something.”
He frowns. “Not taking any chances.”
I guess that makes sense. “If it’s such a problem, why don’t we find Midoriya to be with us again? I’m sure-”
“No.” He cuts me off. He was rather firm on saying it.
… No? I thought they were on good terms? “Are you two not on the best terms anymore or something? You don’t seem to want him around.”
“If there is someone watching, it would be better for a student in the top class to not be involved. It could make you a bigger target if your feeling of being watched is correct.”
Didn’t think of that. It still seems kind of like a ridiculous claim though. After all, Hizashi is a very well-known hero, so what difference would that make between Midoriya being with us or an adult?
I decided to just brush it off.
---------------------------------------
Whatever Hitoshi told them must have worked, since they arrived and found us at what must have been a record-breaking speed.
“Hey guys, you got here quick!”
“Well, we couldn’t let you three have all the fun now, could we?”
“Speak for yourself.” Aizawa tiredly mumbles. They’re wearing the same outfits they did earlier. I wonder if Hizashi was recognized during his fight. I have a feeling they keep their weapons in the trunk of their car just in case they get called.
I look at Eri and notice her yawn. I then look back up to Aizawa. “Looks like you’re not the only one that’s tired.”
He looks at her with the tiniest smile as she yawns again. “Fine. Just a few rides, then we go home.”
We end up on a few of the rides Eri can go on. I still don’t feel comfortable around Aizawa, so I try my best to sit with Hitoshi and Eri.
Hizashi keeps looking around as we go on a few of the rides. He tries to be more stealthy about it, but he’s failing at it greatly. Aizawa seems like he couldn’t care less. I should have just ignored it since now I feel like I’m ruining the rides for them for the imaginary odd feeling.
We decided the very last ride to be the Ferris Wheel. “You guys should go ahead. I’ll wait down here for you.” I inform them. Three out of the four of them look at me like I just grew another head. “What? It will be too tight a squeeze otherwise.” Hizashi just shakes his head and grabs me by one of my wrists to come with.
The feeling multiplied after he grabbed my wrist, making me forcefully stop and look behind me. He stops as well, looking in the same direction.
“That’s another thing! We can’t just leave you alone down here if someone’s watchin’ ya! C’mon!”
He drags me into the line for it with the others. Luckily, there wasn’t much of a wait. I can’t believe it’s sunset already. I also can’t believe I’m stuck going on it with them.
We all get into the cart, and I try to sit down with Eri and Hitoshi. Hizashi grabs my wrist again, having me sit between him and Aizawa. It’s a rather tight fit with my thighs and sides being pressed on theirs. This is rather uncomfortable, and definitely something I did NOT sign up for as a sitter…
At least the sight is beautiful to see with the sun shining brightly to the right side of us. Eri leans against Hitoshi and closes her eyes, hugging her new stuffed animal close. It stays quiet between all of us for a bit. Hizashi slips his arm behind my shoulders, making me tense. I decided he must be trying to give us a bit more room.
“Sorry for not bein’ around much today to hang out with. Tell ya what, why don’t you join us next Sunday for dinner as an apology?”
My eyes narrow in thought. “An apology for what? You guys couldn’t help it. It happens.”
He shakes his head. “Come on, we already cleared our schedules for it. It would be heartbreaking if you say no!”
“But I was planning on hanging out with my friends next Sunday… Why not the Sunday after that?”
“Just go with it. Having him change his mind is impossible.”
I mentally sigh. “Fine. But the Sunday after, I won’t be coming. I WILL spend my day with them then, so please don’t invite me into anything.”
I could swear Hizashi frowns disappointingly at the news, but his face becomes a smile before I can put much thought into it. “Great! Be sure to wear somethin’ at least a little fancy, okay? We’re going somewhere special! Oh! And we’ll pick ya up again!”
“Okay…” was my only reply.

Welcome To The Family (3/???)
1/ 2
Warnings of bad babysitters, and a couple swears but I think that’s it. Also sorry if this seems more of a filler chapter. Can’t believe I might have made a filler chapter with my favorite character. -_-
--------------------------------------------------
It’s been a week since that night. Shinsou even started joining Eri and me with things now with a small smile instead of a glare. Aizawa is the last one that still doesn’t really care for me I’m pretty sure. Today they didn’t need me to babysit since the students at the school kept begging them to bring Eri to see again. Who can blame them? Eri can melt the heart of anyone.
I was already told a few days ago to call Yamada by his first name, but it’s rather similar to Shinsou’s. I still keep getting them mixed up in my head. I still prefer to call them by their last names. Why can’t I just keep calling them by their last names? My fault for wanting to be friends with them I suppose.
Yamada texted me he wants me to come into his recording studio tonight. Something about finally having the chance to know me better? But don’t we pretty much know everything about each other already from him reading my summary and I knowing him from his professions, as well as Eri telling both of us things about each other?
Eh, I didn’t have anything planned to do today anyway.
I waited for it to get later in the day and head towards the location of the studio. He’s also a teacher, so it would be better to arrive a bit later, knowing he will be there then as well. I might ask him for a ride back to my home though if he’s willing. I don’t really want to walk alone at night back to my place, considering here is a much farther distance to my place than their house to mine. Kind of surprised to not have run into a villain yet. Here’s to hoping I never do.
Entering the tower, I’m greeted by someone unknown sitting at a desk. She has a rather deep frown on her face as she saw me enter and walk up to the desk. I feel like a nervous wreck trying to tell her I’m here to see Yamada. What if he forgot to tell her and I get humiliated?
Okay, that might be a bit ridiculous. No one else is around. “Hello. I’m here to uh… See Yamada?” Her frown deepens even further. “Farthest room on the right.” I walk towards the door. Hospitality much?
I knock on the door and wait for him to answer.
“C’mon in, Y/N!” He yells through the door. His voice was rather quiet, so the room must be incredibly soundproof. I enter the room and see Best Jeanist sitting on a chair in front of him. “I’m not interrupting anything, am I?” I ask.
They both shake their heads. “No, we just finished a bit ago,” Best Jeanist does a weird hand motion over his hair? “I’ll be leaving now. This was a pleasant time.” He gets up and leaves.
After a bit, I sat in the chair he was just sitting in, and it felt rather awkward between us. The warmth of the seat not aiding in much comfort.
“So… Is the woman at the main desk usually in such a mood, or is it a bad day today?”
He laughs. “She’s been like that for a while!”
For a while? “What made her like that?”
He shakes his head. “She still digs me. A while ago we tried having her as Eri’s babysitter, but it didn’t go well with how uncaring she was for her. Sho and I could both tell she couldn’t have cared less for our kids and was rather disgusted finding out Sho and I were married. She still kept tryin’ though, so we had to kick her from babysitting.”
“That explains why she seemed so annoyed with me when I asked her where your room was.”
He nods. “Yep! It probably doesn’t help I teased her by tellin’ her you’re our new sitter!”
I give him an incredulous look. “Why would you do that?”
“Ah, don’t be so worried! I just told her how you’re already a way better sitter than she ever was!”
I don’t really know what to say to that. It’s just what I’m supposed to do, isn’t it? “It’s just my job. But to be honest, Eri makes it way more enjoyable. Hate to say I have favorites, but she easily has to be in my top five favorite kids I ever got to babysit.”
He seems to grow even happier at the news, judging by his smile growing bigger. Jeez, how does his face get that big without strain!? “So glad to hear that! I Gotta say, we were close to givin’ up on the whole babysitter thing until we passed yours.”
I tilt my head. “Why is that?”
His face goes into a frown. “The first two were actually villains. The first was working with some villains in trying to get Eri. Luckily we found out the same day before leaving from our son using his quirk on them. The second was known for stealin’ people’s items, but the reviews were deleted so we didn’t know until it was too late. They didn’t take anything that couldn’t be replaced though.”
“Like Eri.”
He smiles again. “Yep! But we obviously couldn’t have someone like that around us, ya know? So we caught them and turned ‘em in.”
I nod. “That makes sense. Was the next one the woman at the desk?”
He shakes his head. “Nope! That was the next one. The third one was pretty good. Or so we thought, but our son didn’t feel right with them being around Eri,” His fists clench tightly, and his frown is even deeper than before. “Turns out he had an obsession of bein’ in charge and kept bossing Eri around when we weren’t home. Making her clean everything and took the credit. I went home early one day and caught him in the act.”
My heart twinges knowing Eri had to go through EVEN MORE than she already did. “Please tell me you decked him for it.”
He smirks. “Sho wasn’t too happy at me for it, but fuck yeah I did!”
“Glad to hear!” I smirk. “I bet Shinsou was all for you decking him as well, knowing him.”
He nods. “Yep! He told me if he was there, he would have done the same thing!”
“Sounds like him.”
It goes quiet between us after that. I keep trying to think of something else to talk about, but my mind keeps coming up blank. Surprisingly or not, I’m not nearly as good at talking with adults as I am with kids. They’re usually easily distracted, and bringing up one thing can make them go into an hour of talking about it.
“Just curious, do ya ever listen to my show?” He suddenly asks. I’m so thankful he’s able to come up with something.
“Sometimes. I was introduced to it by a child I babysat before. I wasn’t too appreciative of the tantrums he would throw when he couldn’t listen to it though. It also took a bit, but your show started to grow on me.”
He smiles again. “Glad to know I’ve got some good hard fans listenin’ in!”
I roll my eyes with a smile. “I don’t think his parents would agree with you, but go ahead and think what you want.”
He smiles and shrugs.
I can’t help but suddenly try to clear my throat from how dry it seems in here now that I notice. He notices, gets up, and grabs a bottle of water from a stand not too far from his seat, passing it to me. “Here ya go! Sorry for it bein’ so dry in here. One of the previous people using this room has some desert-like quirk. Gotten pretty used to it myself!”
I take the bottle. “Thanks, Hitoshi.”
He stops for a moment and blinks at me. “I think ya mean Hizashi, my dear listener!”
.
.
Oh. OH. FUCK!
I let out an embarrassed groan and couldn’t even look at him in the eyes, making him laugh incredibly hard at my reaction. “Don’t worry about it! They do seem rather similar, don’t they?” I just reply by nodding my head. Not being used to their first names really came to bite me, didn’t it?
Hizashi’s phone started to ring. He sees who it is, and answers it.  “Hey babe, what ya need?” He’s quiet for a second, but then his eyes widen as he turns and looks at the clock. “Shit! Sorry, guess time slipped by! I’ll be there shortly!” He then hangs up.
“Hey, we gotta pick up Eri and Sho from the school. Since you’re here, I could drive ya if you want!” Hearing that is more relieving than having to ask him. “Sure. If it’s not too much trouble.”
“Not at all!”
As we leave, I look back to see the woman glaring hard at me from being beside Hizashi. It’s already decided. The less I’m around her, the better.
We walk down to his black car. I get into the back seat so his husband can sit in the front. On the left is the car seat for Eri. I’ll get out when we get there so Shin- Hitoshi can sit in the middle. I really need to get them straight now before I get embarrassed by saying the wrong name again.
Huh, the seats are incredibly comfortable. They’re also a beige color. Some reason, I was really expecting a different color. Not judging though, since I don’t even have one.
It stays quiet between us until we enter the school area. It’s crazy to see in person. Aizawa, Eri, and Hitoshi are waiting outside by the entrance. I exit the vehicle, and she brightens upon seeing me. I get tackled into a hug by her. “Hey, Eri! Good to see you again!”
“Even though it’s only been a day?” Hitoshi teases.
“Admit it. You missed me too.” I tease.
He smirks. “Maybe, maybe not.” He teases back.
Aizawa’s expression is unreadable as he looks at me. I decide to just give him space and accept he might just never like me. I’m honestly a little scared to try since he might get pissed off at me instead of not liking me too much. That’s a scary thought itself. He sits up front while I help Eri get into her seat. Shin- Hitoshi waits for me to walk around and sit in the middle. Maybe to keep them straight I could call them Toshi and Zashi. Would they mind that? That seems maybe too unprofessional though.
“Do you want to drop me off first, or your family first since my place is farther away, Hizashi?”
“I think we can go to your place first. Kinda curious to see your place, dear listener! I heard your place is rather lively!” He looks into the mirror at me. “Oh! And ya got the name right this time!”
Really? Why do you have to embarrass me in front of your whole family!? I groan and hide my face with my hands.
“This time?” Aizawa questions.
“They accidentally called me our son’s name! Ya shoulda seen their face when they realized!”
I take my hands off my face. “You didn’t have to tell them that! I’m sorry! I’m not used to your first names yet!”
Hizashi and Hitoshi both laugh at me. Hitoshi’s was more of a snicker.
I decide to try to change the subject to save myself from the embarrassment. “So, you know where it is, or do you need me to tell you the way?”
“Nope! I got it memorized already!”
“Good to know.”
----------------------------------------------
We all talk a bit more on our way to my place. “Oh yeah! Hey, Y/N!” Hizashi suddenly pipes up when I was saying some joking banter with Hitoshi.
“Yeah?” I question.
“Are ya goin’ to the festival next week?”
I shrug in reply. “Not really sure. I was thinking of maybe spending a bit more time with my neighbors since I haven’t done that very much for a while.”
None of them seemed to be too happy with that I think from their silence for a minute.
“You could come with us. I’m sure Eri would like you to come.” Hitoshi informs.
Eri nods enthusiastically at me when I look at her. My brows narrow in thought. “Isn’t that a family day for you guys though? I really don’t want to intrude.”
For the first time since I’ve met him, Aizawa replies to me. “It’s not intruding if we’re inviting.”
I look at Eri again, who is beyond pleading me to go. Damn it, how in the world can I say no to her? “I guess my friends could wait a bit longer. Sure, I can come.”
“Great! We’ll pick ya up that day then!”
It’s easy to tell we’re getting close to my place by the music that blairs into the car.
… Are they seriously playing “It wasn’t me” by Shaggy today? I can’t help but laugh while everyone in the car but Hizashi is confused. It’s a nightly occurrence I’ve finally gotten used to, and sometimes even join them for a bit. I’ve learned quite a bit of English from them as well. They’re great neighbors. Honestly they’re one of the reasons I don’t move out, though now I could. This place has gotten rather cheap rent from these rambunctious people. It started with two, and soon the whole building became nothing but chaos. They’ve been frowned upon by many for their ways, but they couldn’t seem to care less. No noise complaints? No problems.
“What are you laughing at?” Hitoshi questions.
“Just my neighbor’s choice of song tonight. I’m beyond surprised they haven’t gotten into trouble for it yet.”
“You can understand it!?” Hizashi excitedly exclaims.
“Mostly. They taught me some English from me being here.”
Even though Hizashi seems like the type to like many types of music, he doesn’t seem to like the lyrics too much. Well. it IS about cheating after all. I’m beyond thankful Eri doesn’t understand any of it. Both from probably being too young, and not knowing the language very well yet.
“What’s the song about?” Eri questions.
Uh… “You don’t want to know. It’s a gross song.”
“Why laugh if it’s gross?”
I reach over and gently pat her head. I’ve finally gotten close enough she no longer fears my touch. “You will find out when you’re older. It’s an adult thing.”
She seems unsure. “O...kay.”
Hizashi pulls up to the building. My crazy friends being outside dancing their pants off as usual. I laugh at them and shake my head. Hitoshi gets out for me to exit. They all freeze and stare at me as I exit the vehicle, Hitoshi immediately getting back in. I wave at them and head towards my friends.
My closest friend, Ryo, comes up to me. “What up, my friend?” They put their hand up for a high five. Just another rare thing these people like to do. I high five their hand.
“Not much! Just got back from another day of sitting! You know, the usual!” Sadly I can’t tell them the truth from the promise to the heroes.
They take a quick glance at the car, then back at me with a whistle. “You sure got the jackpot huh? Bet those are some lucky kids!”
“It’s nothing much. Kids are kids. They’d like anyone that’s kind to them and listens to them.”
“Ah, don’t be so modest now!” They get me in a headlock and rub my head in a jokingly aggressive way. “Any kid is lucky if they get you as a sitter!”
I laugh and force myself out of their grip. Hizashi quickly pulls away in the car in the process.
We enter the building, and I’m incredibly glad they didn’t ask to come in. On the outside the place looks fine, but the inside is pretty much falling apart. Walls peeling, and the floor thin enough to feel the vibrations of the music underneath. Hey, at least we never have a mold problem. It might be from someone here who has a mold-absorption type of quirk. How he discovered it, I don’t want to know.
I’m rather tired today, so I’m not joining them. Ryo seemed to notice, so they went back out to the others. I just flop onto my bed and almost immediately fall asleep.

Welcome To The Family (2/???)
Should tw be a thing for a bit of mind-control? Oh well, I'll put it as a warning here just to be safe.
Three weeks have passed. I've been informed by Eri that Shinsou has a mind control quirk. In all honesty? That doesn't change anything with the way I see him. He doesn't know I know his quirk. He doesn't need to since it wouldn't really change anything. He still seems rather untrusting of me though. I wish to change that, but how? More progress has been made with one of the adults, and he's around the least amount from working three jobs! Ugh, this is rather frustrating.
There is still plenty of time for that to change though. Remember Y/N, it's only been three weeks. At least the bond between Eri and I has grown substantially. We even already made our own little code thing by putting our right pointer finger on our nose, closing our left eye, and slightly poking out our tongues in a silly manner. It makes her giggle every time. We haven't shown that to the others yet. Not because there's anything wrong with it, it just never came up since I leave right after they come home. Shinsou almost saw it twice. No big deal if he does.
I even got to meet the two she thinks so highly of, and they're both adorable rays of sunshine themselves. They even brought dresses for an extra interesting tea party we had that day. The green one- the one whom of which I found out is named Deku, or Midoriya- is rather uncomfortable with wearing the dress, but seems to do it for Eri. The blond, Togata, has a short strapless pastel blue one that he doesn't seem to mind wearing in the slightest. He told me it's because he's rather used to suddenly being naked from his quirk. I can only wish to have that confidence. They told me more about their school, which honestly makes me wish to visit them and their friends someday. Sadly, that's not my place though.
Tonight is a night that I have to babysit them a bit longer, and have to put Eri to bed. Something about extra paperwork. I decided to be good for them and do some cleaning of their house. Nothing major, just the dishes that seem to of been sitting for a bit longer than they should have, and maybe even sweep the living room since there are a few visual piles of cat hair.
I start with sweeping the living room now while Eri watched more of her favorite show with her stuffed animals. It took a bit longer than it should have taken to find the broom in the utility closet. Oreo comes up to me and starts trying to swat at the broom, catching Eri's attention.
A smile starts to form on my face. Why not have a little fun with this? I start to drag the broom around, making him chase it. It doesn't take long for the other two on the cat tree to catch interest. I lean down and shake the broom side to side. Sundae jumps off from the highest point of the cat tree and lunges towards the brush of it, scaring Oreo in the process. Oreo jumps high in the air and angrily starts to bat at his brother.
Eri starts giggling and I get rather close to joining her. Mochi comes over from his box on the floor of the cat tree and starts to lazily bat at the broom as well. Oreo didn't seem to like that, so they jump onto Mochi. He wasn't being aggressive, just playful. I use the broom and gently sweep it on the two of them. They start trying to bite the bristles of it.
Their attention wasn't kept by the broom long though sadly. Sundae attacked Oreo, who was still focused on Mochi, then took off out of the room. Oreo then follows in hot pursuit. Mochi surprisingly trudges after the two of them. I laugh and shake my head while locking eyes with Eri. "They're sure lively today!" She giggles in reply.
There was a giant pile of fur after sweeping the living room. A ball of it big enough to barely fit in my palm. Nothing but a fluffy swirl of black, white, and orange. It's not in my palm though since there's most likely a bunch of other dirt too that wouldn't be pleasant to touch. I get it all in the dustpan and go to dump it in the garbage.
Eri is still rather interested in her show, so I decide to let her watch it a bit longer before cooking and having to put her to bed. Shinsou stayed at his school for a while longer today. My guess is he helps Aizawa or maybe even trains with him there since he doesn't seem like he'd have much time here.
I start doing the dishes, which doesn't take too long. A bit of green mold on one of the dishes makes me recoil in disgust a bit though. Okay, maybe they've been here a bit longer than I thought. Eri came into the kitchen half-way through me doing the dishes and sat on one of the chairs at the table to be by me. "Eri, you don't have to be in here you know. You can keep watching your show."
She shakes her head. "But I like being with you. I get so sad when you leave."
A quick twinge panged through my chest at that information. "Aw, I miss you when I leave too. Don't tell anyone, but you're my favorite to be around!" I inform and see her being really happy about that.
It's true though. She's been incredibly easy to take care of compared to so many others from before. Like the brother who kept ripping the heads off the dolls of his younger sister, or the one I kept having to keep a very sharp eye on to not find the hammer to test out how durable the windows of the house were. Or even the one who kept trying to put Play-Doh in their hair. Her past might have some to do with it. I focus my sudden new anger on thinking about the vile man to scrub the stained dishes more thoroughly.
It doesn't take too long to finish the dishes and start dinner. I decided to make dinner for the others too, even though it might be cold by the time they get to their home. Keeping it in the oven for a while might work. I get it ready and put it inside the oven. My stomach growls a bit at thinking about food. I don't feel right eating their food though, so I always bring snacks to eat while Eri eats what gets made. Luckily, she doesn't seem to be picky and sometimes asks for something that can be made. They told me anything for her is fine so that just makes it all the easier.
A familiar purple-haired teen enters the kitchen in the corner of my eye. "Ah, Shinsou! You're back! Your dads told me they wouldn't be back for a while. Hope you don't mind what I'm making for dinner. Eri said she wanted it."
He only replies with an uncaring shrug. He sets his backpack on the table and takes out homework to start on. Ah, homework. Don't miss it. Sadly though, even as an adult homework is still a thing, just in a different way. A part of me also likes to think he's only in here to watch me with Eri again. That's a very common thing I've noticed. He'll be around, but never want to join us. He'd probably hate me more if I told him, but I find him rather adorable in that aspect.
"Hey, Eri. Did you have fun again today?" I pretend not to see it, but that caring smile towards her didn't go past me, boy!
Eri goes over and hugs him. He hugs her back, and I'm pretty sure my heart melted a little again. I can get behind this being a common occurrence. I'm so happy to be the one gifted with taking care of these two children.
I must have lost track of time focusing on the two of them since the stove starts beeping, informing me the food is ready. I mumble out an "already?" and go over to the stove, taking it out. It gets placed on the stove to cool a bit as I grab hot pads, cups, silverware, and everything else needed for the table for the two of them.
Shinsou looks at me quizzically. Eri seems to notice his look too. "They never eat the food they make. Don't know why. It tastes so good!" His eyes narrow at me accusingly.
"I just don't feel comfortable eating your guys' food, you know? I usually just make Eri something and bring a few snacks with me to eat instead," I go off to think in space a little bit. "Okay, maybe that does seem rather suspicious now that I think about it."
"Suspicious?" Eri questions.
"Means like something is not right. Like if a person kept the following someone. A person watching the two would find that suspicious." She tilts her head, maybe more confused. "What does that do with food?" Oh, her dear innocence.
"Don't worry about it, Eri. It's nothing important right now. How about we just eat, and this time I guess I'll join you?" She looks down for a second at her empty plate, then back up at me. "Okay!"
I bring the food to the table and grab another plate, sitting down next to Eri despite Shinsou's glare at me again. Shinsou puts some on his plate. He only seemed keen on eating it after I took a few bites of it.
"Oh yeah, Shinsou?" He looks at me questioningly. "Could you wait here after dinner? I need to talk to you."
He replies with a nod and continues eating. Eri smiles at him. "See Toshi! It's so good!" He gives her a toothy smile. "Maybe even better than Hizashi's." Um... which one is that? I only finally memorized their last names!
Don't think he will tell me, so I decided to pretend to know which one it was. Either way is a 50-50 chance. Maybe I should ask Eri to remind me of which is which.
Eri nods. "Much better than the time daddy tried to make that gross stuff."
Shinsou gets an amused smirk. "You mean that homemade dish he burned beyond belief? heh, he wouldn't let it down for weeks."
I stay silent as I let the two of them talk. Hopefully, I'm not coming off as creepy just by still being here. I do wonder why they want me to stay with the two of them. Shinsou seems much more than capable of taking care of Eri himself. Even if he doesn't know how to cook, it could be learned.
"Y/N?" Eri's voice saying my name snaps me out of the thought of Shinsou cooking and struggling by burning it. "Yes, Eri?" I ask. "Could you read me the princess and the frog tonight?"
"Of course!" I smile at her. "You must be really excited, huh? I've never read to you yet, have I?"
She shakes her head. "Alright, grab the book after dinner and I'll be up there soon after." Her hands shake in excitement. She starts eating her food faster.
"Slow down! It's not going anywhere." I tease.
She only replies by slowing down slightly.
-------------------------------------------------------
I tuck her in and started to read the story to her while laying on the bed above the covers so she could look at the pictures in the book too.
We start to read the book. Well, mostly me reading it out loud to her. I don't even get halfway through the book to notice her falling asleep leaning against my shoulder.
She's rather stubborn though and refused to fall asleep until the book was finished. Laying her down fully, she falls asleep almost instantly.
Turning off the light, I then proceed back to the kitchen. There Shinsou sat, still doing his homework.
It's quiet between us with me sitting in the same chair as earlier. The only sound being the scratching of the pencil he's using on paper. Now is the best time to bond with him, but how? Could talking about his quirk work? Maybe him knowing I'm not afraid would help?
He looks up from the paper, straight into my eyes. "Do you truly like Eri?"
What's with that sudden question? Hasn't it been shown well with my interactions with her? "Of cour-" Something akin to icy claws felt like were wrapped around my head, leaving a numbing and foggy feeling over my body. My body is no longer in control of itself. The only explanation is it's his quirk. So this is his quirk in play. Does he want truthful answers? Then so be it. I've got nothing to hide.
"Be honest," His voice takes a sharp tone. "Do you like Eri?"
"Yes." my voice is monotone, and it honestly sounds rather strange.
He becomes ever-so-slightly less tense. "What is your goal?"
"To take care of you and Eri."
"In what way?" His eyes narrow. "Are you secretly hired to take Eri?"
"No. I am doing my job, and more." His brows furrowed into a look of confusion instead of accusing. "More?"
"My goal is to befriend you and take care of Eri." The foggy feeling goes away from my mind, most likely his quirk losing control as his eyes widen. It's hard to tell whether he willingly stopped, or it was caused by shock. "I'm also aware of your quirk. You should know that makes you no different to me."
He abruptly stands up from his chair like he's never been told such a thing before and can't believe it. I can only imagine how many children probably tell him it's a villain's quirk or something. Poor kid. Er, well... Teenager. In all honesty, that makes it worse. "How long have you known?"
"A week maybe? I'm not afraid of you or your quirk. I know you're trying hard to be a hero, and you'd never do anything that would harm me unless needed. You've most likely been told before, but you're not a villain, nor will you ever be," I smirk at him. "If you are, you're doing a terrible job at being one."
He gives a small and rather happy smile in return. There we go! We're getting somewhere! "Your guardians are usually around, but if you ever need anything and they can't help, you can always come ask or tell me, Shinsou."
He remains quiet for a moment. "Hitoshi."
"Pardon?"
"My name. Call me Hitoshi," He rubs the back of his neck with his left hand. "If you're serious about being with us, then I suppose it wouldn't hurt to call me by my first name," he lets out a sigh. "I also suppose it would also be problematic to find another sitter since Eri is rather attached to you already."
Well, he changed his mind rather suddenly. I'm not complaining though! I nod. "Hopefully I can be close with you as well someday. I know we're still rather rocky, but thanks for giving me the chance to grow better with you."
He replies with a nod in return. The pencil still in his hand writes down a few more things, then he puts it back into his backpack and looks at the time on the stove. "We might as well wait in the living room for their return."
I nod, and we both go into the living room. Shin- Hitoshi is much more relaxed around me now. Man, wish he could have used his quirk for confirmation earlier. Then again, this is the first time Eri hasn't been around, and she probably wouldn't be too happy to see him use his quirk on me.
The T.V. is mostly background noise as the two of us sit in silence. "So, Shin- Hitoshi. Are you more of a comedy person or a horror person?"
He shrugs. "Comedy can help me get into the minds of others by saying things that might make them reply, but horror is more interesting."
"Ooh! that's actually really smart to do! I didn't think of that until you mentioned it!" He smiles and rubs the back of his neck again.
A hand is suddenly placed on my shoulder, making me jump out of my skin. I sharply tilt my head up to lock eyes with Yamada. Seriously! How is their door so silent when it opens!? And more importantly, how can such a loud man be silent enough to sneak up on someone!?
"Glad to see the two of ya gettin' along!" He says with Aizawa slouched beside him.
I smirk at him. "It's been a bit of a challenge, but nothing I'm not willing to try going up against! Also, you scared the daylights outta me! How could you sneak up so well?"
He laughs. "All in a hero's work, even if I'm supposed to be a more noisy one!"
"I bet! Oh! Also, I did the dishes for you and made dinner, which is in the oven. I did it to keep it at least a little warm for when you guys got back to your home. Hopefully, you guys don't mind." They seemed rather surprised by that. Checking the time, it's almost midnight. There isn't school for them tomorrow.  Eri told me they always take non-school days as family days. Well, unless either of them are called in for a patrol.
I get up and put my shoes on and look at Hitoshi before I go. "It was great getting closer with you today! See you soon, Hitoshi!" The adults' eyes widen greatly, and Yamada's mouth hangs so far open he might as well be a pelican. It makes Hitoshi laugh. Huh, he must not let many call him by his first name or something.
I leave, even more excited for what the future holds with this family than before.

Welcome To The Family (1/???)
Yandere EraserMic household x reader
Finally decided to start writing it! I’ve never babysat in my life, so if this is incredibly wrong I’m sorry. No warnings for now. No idea how many chapters this is going to be right now, but for sure at least 3-5.
I’m on my way to babysit two new children. Well, a child and later in the day a teenager when they get back from school. It’s beyond astonishing somehow being the one selected to babysit two children of heroes. They’re adopted, but that makes it all the more strange. I can’t complain much though. They’re paying a rather large amount and asked me to keep quiet about it. I have to go there early in the morning and be there most of the day. They also warned me some days I may have to babysit them longer than others. They did also warn me a few of their students may come by to hang out with Eri for a bit.
My fist knocks on the door four times. Yamada- hopefully, I remembered who is who correctly- opens it. He lets me in with a giant and welcoming smile on his face. In the living room were the other three. Eri, and the other which must be Shinsou, look at me cautiously. Eri hides a bit behind the black-haired adult while Shinsou seems rather watchful and wary of me. I crouch down to her level but stay a bit away to introduce myself. “You must be Eri. I’ve heard a lot about you. My name’s Y/N. I hope to get along with you.” This is true, I’ve been informed by the two about what she has been through.
The black-haired man confirms with a small nod down to her as she looks up at him. Whatever that was supposed to be about, it helped make her take a step away from him and look at me more.
Aizawa- hopefully, I’m still correct- looks at the clock. “We need to go now.” the blond nods and leaves for their rather expensive-looking black car. Aizawa leaves as well. Shinsou glares at me one last time before he starts to head towards the door as well. “Don’t do anything you will regret.” He threatens and leaves too.
Eri sits on the couch still timidly staring at me. To say it felt awkward between us is an understatement. “So, Eri, would you like to show me your favorite toys? Or maybe there’s a show you really like we could watch for a while?” Like a lightswitch, her eyes light up like she was just told she could have all the candy in the world. She then takes off up the stairs for presumably her bedroom. I wait in the living room for her return. I take a moment to examine the living room better. There are hardly any pictures on the walls. There’s only one with the four of them and a bunch of teens. Must be his class. They look like a chaotic and lively bunch. The light gray couch is in the middle of the living room with a large flat screen T.V. in front of it. To the left of the couch and a little behind is a matching gray loveseat with a giant cat tree between it and the wall. Huh, so they have a cat or possibly two. Surprised they’re not in the living room. The black stand under the T.V. matches the coffee table in front of it. There’s a door straight from the main entrance I entered from. My guess is either a bathroom or the kitchen. Next to it is a flight of stairs that Eri went up. That must lead to the bedrooms. There’s another door next to the stairs. A closet maybe? Or maybe another bedroom.
Eri comes down a few minutes later with five stuffed animals in her arms. A green rabbit with matching green eyes, a brown teddy bear with beady eyes, a blue galaxy patterned fox with turquoise eyes,  a yellow dog with blue eyes, and a cute tiny light gray unicorn with glittery pink eyes. It looks like her and seems like her favorite with how it seems a little worn. They’re all so adorable that I think my heart might have melted.
“Aw, what are their names?” She proudly holds them up and says their names. The one that got me was “Deku”. Doesn’t that mean useless? How would a child know that term? More importantly, how are the adults allowing her to name it that?
“Deku? Why is it named that?”
“He saved me. I wanted a stuffed animal like him!” She cheerfully says. I’m not going to question why they chose that name.
“They sound like amazing people! I can’t wait to meet them someday!” She smiles at me. It quickly becomes sad instead. “But I won’t be going to the school with them anymore…”
I try to think of how to make her feel better. Those two must be the ones her fathers warned me will come over at some point. “Well, maybe I could ask your parents if they can come over someday after school.” She enthusiastically nods.
It grows quiet between us again as she holds her stuffed animals.
I look back at the cat tree. “I see you have a cat tree. Do you know where the cat is?”
“We have three!” she cheerfully informs.
“Three? Wow! I bet they keep you safe, huh?” I question. She shrugs. “Mochi is too big to even jump on the bed.”
“Mochi? Cute name!”
“Mrow” came a sudden voice from the cat tree. There’s a box part on the floor I somehow missed earlier. A rather fat cat saunters out of it. “Mochi!” Eri cheerfully yells and goes over to it. It’s an orange tabby. She tries to pick him up and miraculously succeeds. It’s so comical I can’t help but laugh. A child carrying a cat that’s almost as big as her. She waddles over with it and places them on the couch between us. They just yawn, stretch, and lie down right where they were plopped. They roll over to show their belly. I rub the belly of it. How could I not? Once again, it doesn’t seem to care in the slightest.
“What are the names of the other two?” I ask.
“Sundae and Oreo! They’re brothers!”
“Are they as big as Mochi?” She shakes her head. “No. My dads went to buy things that feed the cats when we are not home.”
“That’s good! Maybe later we could try finding the other two and have a tea party or something.” She looked like she was nearly screaming in excitement at the news. “Only one of my dads likes to do tea parties with me.”
I smile. “Well, now you have two that do!”
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Many hours later, she decided she wanted to do the tea party. We were able to find the other two cats which were sleeping on her dads’ bed. Eri told me they were in there since I didn’t go in there out of respect. Unfortunately, I didn’t bring a dress or suit to change into for her. I’ll have to remember that for next week so I can do it when not babysitting.
Oreo and Sundae were rather difficult to settle down into chairs around the table. They’re tuxedos and an easy way to tell which is who is apparently the white eyebrows on Oreo that makes him look always angry. We just gave up when they decided to sit on the table instead of the chairs.
The tea set is a pastel green with interesting shiny gold lines decorating it. It’s a great contrast to the small dark red table it’s on in her room. She has tons of drawings with her, Shinsou, and the two adults covering her walls. There’s also a few with a green-haired and blond with her. There is nothing in the teacups as she passes one to me. “Why, thank you, Eri!” She smiles and nods. That smile needs to be protected.
It’s hard to think someone could do something so evil to such an innocent bean. I’m beyond glad she’s in a much better home now. I’ve only known her for like half a day, but if something were to happen to her, I’d kill everyone around me and then myself. She looks behind me and lights up more. “Toshi!”
I turn around to see Shinsou leaning in the doorway with his arms crossed and a glare aimed at me. How long has he been there? Man, he’s incredibly quiet. I understand why he doesn’t trust me yet. I’m still a stranger after all. It would be more concerning if he did trust me immediately. I give him an inviting smile. “Welcome, Shinsou! Why don’t you come to our tea party instead of standing there? I’m sure Eri would be more than happy to have her brother join!”
“Yes! C’mon Toshi, please?” She begs. He shakes his head. “You two go ahead. I’d rather watch for now.” He says, hardening his glare at me. Eri doesn’t seem to notice his glare and goes back to her chair. How cute though, a protective brother! She deserves nothing less.
After that, she wanted to show me her favorite show. Shinsou sits rather close to her between us. Seems a bit excessive, but whatever makes him comfortable I guess. Checking the clock above the T.V., it was almost time for me to go.
Shinsou goes to the bathroom, but something tells me he’s testing me. I mean, I didn't do anything before he came home, and wouldn’t Eri have already run to him if I did do something? Well, with the villains around you can’t be so sure.
Eri swings her feet while sitting farther up on the couch. “Are you going to come back tomorrow?”
“Of course! We still have so many things we have to do together!” I reach over and go to rub her head. She flinches so I take my hand away and think for a moment. How can I get her to trust me without any problems occurring? “Hey, Eri?” She looks at me again with trust, yet a hint of unease still in her eyes. Please don’t tell me I just royally screwed up. “How about this. I do to myself what I’m going to do to you, and you can allow it or not. Like this.” I say, and gently rub the top of my head. I bring my hand halfway to her and wait for her reply.
It takes a moment, but she gives me a small nod. I rub her head, making her give a big smile to me.
At that moment, the door opened to reveal the two men. They were tense as we locked eyes, but that went away when they noticed Eri was smiling at me.
“Welcome back you guys! Eri and I had so much fun today. She even brought me to her tea party! Your cats gave us quite a bit of trouble to involve them though.” I inform as Eri goes to hug Yamada and then Aizawa right after.
Shinsou comes into the room as well. Like a silent conversation, he gives a curt nod to Aizawa, which he returns.
Yamada smirks at me. “But what’s important is… Did ya succeed?”
I shrug. “Kind of. We got them to stay on the table instead of the chair.” He snickers. “That’s those devious two!” He looks down at Eri. “Ya must have had a lotta fun, huh? Sad to miss the party!”
I decide to leave so they get more time as a family before they have to go to bed. I don’t need to interfere with that. I wave to her as I go to the door and put on my shoes. “See you tomorrow, Eri!” She waves back, shocking the two adults. Wonder why they’re shocked about that. Maybe she doesn’t usually trust new people as fast? Well, I’ve always been pretty good with children.
I wave at the three men as well and leave excited for what tomorrow might bring.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
I have rather big plans for this story. Hopefully I keep up with it, and I promise it will get better later on.
