The Official Wizard Recruitment Post.
If you wish to become a member of the illegal wizard council and want to occasionally help us commit crimes and solve magical issues sometimes, you're at the right place!
All we need from you is to send us your Wizard CV right here, which can include things like: your most notable magical achievement, your three most recent crimes, your most spectacular crime, what you can bring to the council, and so forth. Whatever it takes to convince us. It must include your wizard pronouns and the position you're applying for.
Your application will then be put to vote by a randomly selected wizard jury with no expertise in anything whatsoever, who will decide your fate. You're welcome to try and bribe the jury if that's what you want (you will get bonus points for that).
*We do not care if you're affiliated with any other wizard council in any way whatsoever. We also do not require you to technically be a wizard. A burning passion for crime is however a necessity. If you're a warlock tell your sugar daddy to buy you your own council.

this whole thing being abt rage is also really interesting. I feel like it comes up so much in fiction as a motive because it's the one emotion that's unifyingly restless while everything else can be petrifying, and just personally nothing hits like impotent rage for me, esp. with teen characters, esp. with characters whose rage is stoked by Someone Else to further that Someone Else's cause. like you'll have done all that in a bout of passion and when you're done you look around you and nothing has changed. those sentiments don't get quelled by being satisfied. righteousness withdrawal is a horrible thing to intentionally drag someone into, least of all just some kids.

Is something being lost in the translation of The Sign's subs?
Cause like they're making people go through a training that looks more suited for a special operations/under-cover operations unit than the police force.
And Phaya who graduated from air force military school choose the simple police force to be his future field of work when he "wants to do something challenging"???
And of all the recruits only a handful were chosen for forming the final teams and rest were allocated to other units. Like... if they're training for normal police service, isn't the dropout rate too high? -_-'''
Ik in some places they refer to all units of law enforcement as the 'police' in common talk. Like in my corner of the world, we often call SWAT units, anti terrorism forces etc as the 'police'.... so is something like that happening here in the subs? Cause no WAY they need to train like that for the local police right? I just wanna know the linguistic and cultural nuances >.>
