That's why I asked the last time what proof you would want. You had never met me before. I know who I am - but did you ever know?

About David.

At the start when we met, he introduced himself by his nickname and name. Due to the nature of the first one, I assumed the real name was shortened version of David. Check Davey origin on the internet. You'll see why I thought so.

I called him that once and he didn't notice so on a later date, I used it again. He said that it's not his name but we went on a discussion on a nature of language. After it, he told me I can call him that in social gatherings, to confuse people.

Seems like it still works.

It's the best you can get unfortunately but I assure you that both of us appreciate your effort. Most people laugh at the way he speaks. And it's nice to see someone taking him seriously.

I wanted to do it by someone's side. It used to be my dream.

I wouldn't mind being stuck in a time loop if the small changes would keep me sane. And I was only changing because I mirrored new behaviours.

I'm overall less in fandom tbh so I haven't really been interacting with stuff. But I did dislike people being mad for others not to do yaoification to the main men. I do feel overall in the internet, there's been so much of purification people just mistake someone liking complex and hard topics for being a 'bad' person.

OLD AU ANGST

For Context: Around the time Clover reaches their teens, Starlo winds up dying in battle to an unknown source and Clover dedicates their life from then on trying to figure out who killed him. (I say unknown because I’ve yet to figure out who it is, but also mystery ooooh…) Don’t worry though! The AU does end as happily as it can possibly end! (In that Clover lives a good life and does eventually avenge their father figure.) You can see the Lion King inspo so badly with this teehee

The text in the pic is a result of a talk between me and @vastrophel (psst, this is your cue to check out his fantastic art) in a server, so special big thanks for giving me inspo for this as simple as it is! (Also, Arty if you see this, I hope you don’t mind the tag! Credit is important!) The text is supposed to be a flashback to when Clover, Starlo, and the Fiesty Four go stargazing and Starlo tells them about a super bright “star” at the top of Mt. Ebott’s ceiling which Clover winds up associating with him as a comfort thing.

Do you and Coda like any books or television/computer/console media (or, well, video games, for the last two)? I'm currently reading House of Leaves (Novel by Mark Z. Danielewski) after visiting a local Barnes & Noble. Just wanted to know maybe a little about what you guys like! Or favorite colors.

A) books:

Me - I've been reading This Is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone of late and enjoying it.

Coda - Dostoyevski's works.

B) cinema & TV:

Me - I'm in the process of rewatching Twin Peaks!

Coda - Mostly student films.

C) games:

Me - Been checking out Baldur's Gate 3, replaying Sekiro too.

Coda - I have no mouth and I must scream. Trying to get all the endings.

2) Favourite color:

My Thoughts on The Bucket Freedom Ending (Paratober Day 5 Free day)

To analyse it, we need to first look at the normal Freedom Ending. I think there are many readings of it that can and coexist at the same time.

It's supposed to be the main and true ending the first time you play it. After all, every other pathway is you choosing a different decision than the Narrator intended. It also introduces the theme of freedom and the lack of it that keeps showing up in the game.

However, in immediate replays, the Narrator skips through parts of the script, showing how this ending is not as perfect as the script keeps on making it be. While it has some interesting parts - the mind control, the buttons, and the layout - it's there as a base.

For you to realise when you get more into it how many plotholes there are, how it's a cliche story that Narrator WANTS you to explore more!! Because WHY would he know about other parts of the story or even make them IF you weren't supposed to explore them!

Now let's go to the Bucket. When it's first introduced, it's said to give Stanley confidence and comfort, to give the audience what they want as it's the sequel content. And the second part is what's very important in this ending.

We could read this as 'The Office just like everything else is obsessed due to the Gambhorra'ta' - which is sth I hope to FINALLY TALK ABOUT FINALLY - but I like to think about it in a separate way. The Bucket is the Narrator and the Office - is 432. And it's also us.

Doesn't this darkness remind you of something?

The Narrator projects a LOT on both the Bucket AND Stanley. And this is just yet another example.

So, in my opinion - this version of the ending comments about a key element of the game. We DON'T want Stanley to be free. We don't want the Narrator to be free. Because If they were - the wheel would stop.

But the show must go on.

And the wheel needs to keep turning.
