Hi, it's me, Melissa.

For starters I'd like to be up front and provide a warning. I am not a well spoken, or consider myself to be, an eloquent person. With that being said, I do feel like I have plenty to share and possibly discuss.

I figured I would start this blog for myself, first and foremost, to allow myself the room to "word vomit" all over this platform. The idea is for me to go back and reread my notes and organize my thoughts.

I want to allow myself to explore and express who I am and what I feel makes me, well, ME. I want to put it all out there and see if there is a sense of community searching for and wanting to do the same. Here are some of the topics I want to share and discuss in the future when I am ready to go public:

I am first-generation Cuban-American and I am very proud to be.

I am a Christian and my faith is an essential component of who I am and who I strive to be. I don't claim to be perfect but I do want to share the joy I have in my life because of Jesus Christ.

I enjoy sports but don't go out of my way to follow along with the politics and behind the scenes.

I am an avid animal lover and proud dog mom of 2.

I consider myself a lover of food but don't claim to be a chef.

I guess we will see what comes of this all. I figured worst case, this will just be my form of an online journal. I suppose that is all for now. Thank you for stumbling upon my blog and enduring the rambles of yours truly.

so uh next day after my kiss count #3... i'm feeling okay. im thinking about it a lot i don't regret it but i just feel like- i just don't want things to change in a negative way i don't want to catch deep deep feelings and then be left in the dust if anything i just want this to somewhat last until i graduate and then leave everything in high school behind. on the positive side it has lowkey helped me forget about someone who hurt me. but yeah now im just overthinking the kiss a bit. it was cute tho i will admit. the kiss itself- at first felt weird but then we tried again and it was lowkey really nice LOL. surprisingly they lowkey knew what they were doing. anyways lets see how this goes.
