hazbin ramble i really went off i dont know why i just did

Hazbin hotel has the affliction of Bad Pacing and would benefit from episodes where it is character growth / characters doing silly things so we understand the characters more. What happens is we got episodes that wanted to do that but then had Alastor's sideplot absolutely decimating any chance of audience-to-character relation. Did you know Alastor is the only true sexy man of hazbin and i stand by that

I don't Get why Hazbin is so bad. I THINK they only have 8 episodes for the season. And I don't know if the writers have actually had any experience before in storywriting.... I do wonder if they woulda benefit from First season (the first 8 episodes) being about the hotel, Charlie introducing people, alalala you know, and then the second being about the main thick plot, where we get all the reveals. Like in a ton of cartoons where they have happy fun the first season and then the second season is where the real evils are introduced.

now-- I skipped the first two... ? minutes of Hazbin where it was the lore building of the world. I skipped it because it was long and mr. christianman finds it sometimes uncomfortable even if it is fiction. They don't have a God, right....? Hazbin is godless, but they have angels and demons running the show, and all human souls become demons or angels..? I have HUGE trouble with their theology -- not in a "it's against my dear religion!" but in a What is True In This Universe. We are grounded in the familiarity of heaven/hell, but their heaven/hell is different from our own (or at least to what heaven/hell one may be familiar with). They Need To Establish More Background. Can't just say heaven is for good, hell is for bad, because there's a ton of world we are just not going to understand through our familiarity with the concept. They have SOME in the overlords, but I'm still confused on concepts... I also couldn't understand Charlie's morality fully. I know she wants Good things, but what IS good in her mind? Good is actually really broad. I thought having a bar in Hazbin would be Bad, because I thought Alcoholism would be a Bad (like... Habzin was a place where demons try to get better... why would they have Beer, when demons may be trying to not be alcoholics?)-- unless Charlie doesn't know any better. which maybe she doesn't but i don't know that, I don't know her. All i know is her face and a cardboard cutout of her personality. I know nothing about this person.

A woman of the word focuses on having a clean heart, a sober mind, a submissive spirit, and a surrendered will. 👉🏻 Read, study, and apply the Bible to become a woman of the word👈🏻 The more time we spend with Jesus, who is the Word made flesh, the more the Bible soaks down into our souls. When it’s in us, God’s word will naturally pour out of us. That is how we are transformed from women of the world to women of the word. Daily Reflection

Nahum 1:7

“The Lord is good, He is a stronghold in the days of trouble, and he knows those who take refuge within him.”

How often do I as a man decide that I do not need to rely on God’s strength in daily life? How often do I fail in times of temptation?

I feel as though these two questions correlate a lot more with each other than I feel comfortable admitting. When I decide my own strength is sufficient is when I fail. God is our fortress, and when we venture outside of the fortress we are our most vulnerable. My goal for 2021 is to build my home in the fortress, and to seek God daily so that he may know me.
