So there’s this old 80’s show that I’ve recently found called “The Duck Factory”, it’s about a team of people who work on an animated show and the main character moves to Cali to become an animator. The MC is also played by Jim Carrey (but just know that I did not start watching this bcuz I’m a fan of his I started watching bcuz I’m a fan of my babey boy Clarence Gilyard who plays one of the characters) who plays the straight man in the story which I think is a cool break from the wacky characters he usually plays. But this show only has 13 episodes and do you know why?
Because the writing SUCKS
The writing can be sooo bad sometimes 😭 and there’s nothing too bad about the acting, there’s a few times where they don’t let a joke sit, sometimes they a moment goes by too fast, and then there’s the laugh track, like… ugggghhhhhhaksdbdlavr..
This show had such a cool idea, but they completely fumbled the script 😭😭
I was so upset about them kinda messing it up that I’ve decided that this will be my project to improve this script.
But! there are times where they actually handle certain subjects kinda okay, like:
• Assumptions about a women based on the way she dresses
• The way some people view girls who have bloomed early
• M/F friendships (I was so scared about the way they were gonna handle it)
• Computers taking over jobs (though it wasn’t given too much of a serious scene it just a quick line, but with all the stuff happening with AI and writing and such i just figured to include it in the list)
And since I haven’t finished the entire show I don’t know what else they’re talking about, but I guess I was kinda surprised to see these topics come up but I don’t really know why I am..
But anyway, this show has a lot of remake potential and I just wanted to rant about it a little bit, but I think y’all should check out the show (even though I just told y’all it was terrible) to see what I mean.

don't hug me i'm scared episode 6 electricity is really something when you're autistic, huh. yellow guy is made fun of all his life by his only friends and laughed at for being "stupid" when all he needed was a change of batteries but no one would listen to him and give him the accommodations he needed and deserved and when he finally did get new batteries and become more clearheaded his friends didn't like him any better. they stopped making fun of him, sure, but they didn't like that he was "smart" all of a sudden, because they'd gotten used to him being "the stupid one". and he looked in the mirror and saw his former self, and his reflection asked him, "have we gone wrong? they seem upset with us" because the truth is even if the way you are now is more comfortable for you, even if it doesn't hurt to think anymore, people will only ever like you if you're the Right Kind of autistic/adhd/traumatized/whatever. have we gone wrong? have we gone wrong? that's what you always ask yourself. "maybe they're not in charge of us anymore." "maybe they never were." and his reflection walks away, as if accepting that the others will think what they will think, and it won't matter, because yellow guy is his own person, no matter how difficult it is for him to articulate his thoughts, and he doesn't need their approval to think. "maybe they never were."

REVIEW | "Neptunia: Sisters Vs. Sisters" | B3 - Boston Bastard Brigade
It’s interesting how the Neptunia games have evolved throughout these years. Originally created as a satire on the console wars, the series has given birth to various spinoffs, throwbacks, anime series, and even crossovers. Neptunia: Sisters Vs. Sisters is something of a new step for the franchise, as it takes on the modern war between consoles, PCs, and smartphones. But does it hit all of the right marks?
The story begins with the sisters of the main characters going out on a quest. However, they are trapped in a sleep capsule, and awaken two years later. Nepgear, Uni, and the twins Rom & Ram find that Neptune has been missing, and that the world is now dominated by tech known as rPhone. With the aid of goddesses Vert, Noire, and Blanc, the sisters set out to figure out what’s been going on in the world of Gamindustri.
Sisters Vs. Sisters takes on the role of an action RPG, where parties of three battle monsters in their vicinity. When timing hits properly, players will be able to initiate combos, which will make defeating enemies quicker and more efficient. These combos are necessary, as the enemies can range from being either quick to handle or — in many cases — a challenge and-a-half! It’s the tougher battles that occur that make me think of Monster Hunter, as you’ll no doubt be hacking, slashing, and making magic countless times until an enemy is defeated.
One of the neat things about how skills work is found in the Disc System. By finding certain objects, players can combine them to craft stat-boosting attachments. Depending on the game genre, character, and item you combine them with, you can find new secrets and even some cool power-ups that’ll help with even the tougher boss battles. If you need just an extra bit of boost, characters not on the main team can act as support to give the main trio some much-needed power and stats.
