I'm having TMA and Yellowjackets brainrot rn so I'm thinking about which Entity each Yellowjacket is most aligned with, like individually. The show as a whole has big Hunt and Slaughter vibes, also Flesh, but I wanna break it down further so here goes -

First up, Tai's gotta be Stranger right? We've got other Tai going on, plus the Man with No Eyes feels Stranger aligned, and even specifically Eye opposed considering the lack of them imo.

I'm gonna say Laura Lee is the Vast, what with the little plane and her death in the sky and then her final resting place underwater.

Lottie is Spiral, no questions. What is reality, what isn't, that's her whole schtick.

Misty is the Web, she manipulates and collects information and positions herself to get what she wants, though I don't think she'd get along with Annabelle.

Shauna is ofc the Flesh, girl is their butcher and the first cannibal among them, this one's a no brainer. I mean, she gave birth! Tell me growing a other human inside your own body isn't the most Flesh aligned thing ever

Van is pure Hunt, she's been both prey and predator and is the most bloodthirsty among them imo.

Natalie took me awhile, I initially leaned towards Hunt for her too but I actually think I'm gonna go with the Buried for her, and here's my reasoning - Natalie is buried in guilt from episode one, over her father's death. The guilt continues to pile on through her entire life, and she even attempts to bury her trauma with drugs. Idk, I think it fits.

For Jackie I lean towards The End. She's the definition of Doomed by the Narrative, and her death signals the end of the Yellowjackets retaining any real normalcy.

Getting into the girls we don't know as well - with Mari I'm thinking maybe Slaughter? She keeps hearing the dripping which we can now assume is blood dripping, what with her bleeding wall hallucination, and she's a strong contender for Pit Girl.

For Akilah I'm gonna go with the Lonely, I mean she hallucinated a whole little mouse friend for herself, seems pretty Lonely.

As for Crystal/Kristen, Gen, and Melissa, I honestly know so little about them that I just don't know.

Bonus Boys -

Coach Ben is officially Desolation aligned after the season 2 finale if you ask me, the Spiral might've been playing with him earlier but the Lightless Flame has him now

Javi feels like a mix of Lonely and Buried for me - he spent so much time presumably alone and underground, so in a literal sense it works, and he's also the outsider in this group, the baby brother who's in the way. The ring Travis dug up for him also feels Buried aligned tbh.

And last we have Travis - I'm thinking Flesh. This works both with his latest act of eating his brother's heart, and with the earlier obsession with his body as both a sexual object and literal meat, when the girls hunt him as the 'stag'. Even his cruel nickname, Flex, comes from a scar on his body and the lie about why he got surgery (removing ribs is very Jared Hopworth too).

Is this anything? Idk but it's fun to play with

Favorite moment: oooo this is hard. i love all her one liners but also every taivan moment is so important to me

Idea for a story: don’t have a ton of new story ideas related to her rn but i do have a couple of fics i’ve written about her (my ao3 is linked in my bio). my favorite concept wise of those is probably the one where she cuts her hair to gain back a sense of control over her body and, on a related theme, i have been thinking about her getting tattoos a lot recently

Unpopular opinion: i don’t think i really have many unpopular opinions about her? i mean i know her butchness has been up for debate and i do consider her butch so that may be a bit unpopular but like idk

Favorite relationship: TAIVAN of course most important little lesbians

Favorite headcanon: one of my favorites is her and nat having been childhood friends, that’s super special to me. i also think she tends to be very fidgety which we have somewhat seen in the show but i think that that is one of the main ways any sorts of anxiety present in her (and her favorite thing to fidget with is tai’s hands, this is part of how their little tracing game started. tai putting a hand in van’s lap and van tracing shapes and letters onto it)

ok ig cashier damian is my latest hyper fixiation, so let’s add

• Ight so, on fridays, jon cannot come in all the time, very rarely can he. and when he does. he sees a very cute sleepy damian who also wants to punch him:)

• damian is just a mess. he didn’t have time to fix his appearance because as soon as he got out of school, he had to change in a shitty unsanitary grocery store bathroom.

• it was not fucking fun. it never is. damian is so over it. jon normally sees Damian working on homework quickly before putting it away when Jon or other customers show

• damian cannot be asked to look like a normal human being when he just finished 7 sad hours of school in ANOTHER shitty uniform. he hates uniforms

Jon: you look like you’re gonna fall asleep

Damian: ugh, look who it is, the good boy from metropolis who doesn’t look like a creep at all when he comes here just to talk to me. woo hoo!

Jon: nice to see you too

• jon normally sucked on lollipops when he didn’t want to chew on gum, plus sometimes he chews on gum really aggressively and it hurts his jaw

• but let’s talk abt jonny: star athlete ( I’m a simp for athletes jon, please kill me. he’s a basketball player in this though. he got the height for it anyway ), himbo-vibes, and overall sweetheart.

• at least that’s what everyone else thinks. his life is a cycle. A very miserable cycle. It’s honestly tiring and hurts his head and generally takes his mood down

• but then he drove to bludhaven in his new car and brand new license. and he saw him.

• sure he’s seen moody teenagers working at stores before, but this boy; Damian, by his name tag, was different. He SENSED IT

• jon found that he liked different

• damian.. just didn’t easily talk with Jon like so many did at home. he liked a challenge

• and Damian was his challenge

• so he wasted so much gas and time and money to visit him.

• he was so whipped

• he was attracted to him. just the way he did things. like goddamn. ok.

• then his friends and him took a trip there. it was Saturday, they were gonna leave on Sunday. it was for Kathy’s birthday. He had no idea why she wanted to go here.

• oh. yeah. The idiots taken in for underaged drinking. Jon didn’t drink. ( he was a good boy and designated driver ) so he was just there trying to get the officers to let his friends off the hook

Damian: oh look, guess the good boy isn’t really a good boy.

Jon: Damian—? No! I’m here to get my friends out!

Damian: figures, you’re too innocent to do bad things.

Jon: what did you do then?

Damian: well wouldnt my you like to know

Dick: Damian! There you are! Sorry, I was calling up some parents- who is this?

Damian: Good boy.

• tai accidentally found out about cashier boy, it was very funny for tai. not Jon. he teased jon for being whipped.

• sure jon liked damian for his looks at first. then he liked him for him.

Jon: dad, some guy named dick said hi

Clark: jon it isn’t— wait-

Jon: he said you babysat him

Clark: really? You saw him, how did he look? I haven’t seen him since he was a kid!

Jon: um. good?

Clark: where did you see him?

Jon: ..the police place

• his parents put a tracker on jons phone. now they were so confused why their son kept going to Giant Beagle in bludhaven. it was. weird.

• they just- was he meeting someone?? why was he doing this? WAS HE GETTING DRUGS? wait. no. it’s jon. jon couldn’t even stand the smell of cigarettes

Lois: jon.. honey.

Jon: yeah?

Lois: why do you keep driving to bludhaven? I’m worried about you and want to make sure you aren’t doing anything.. bad. Or dangerous.

• granted, it was very dangerous going out there, but he liked it. he liked the thrill of when he got to walk damian back sometimes! HE WAS GETTING CLOSER TO DAMIAN!

• oh also. it turns out damian gave him a fake number

• rude.

• damian always warned him though. and tried to make jon not walk far. jon was.. jon was a good boy. he would never survive in bludhaven frequently, jt worried humored damian.

• sometimes jon came by during the day. Damian’s Sunday shift was in the evening while his Saturday one was in the morning. jon got to go get lunch with him sometimes if Damian felt like there were enough people around that would know if he got kidnapped or not

Damian: why do you bother talking to me? most get bored of me and my attitude.

Jon: I find it charming. you’re fun to talk to. you feel so real. almost everyone in my life feels artificial and like I’m living in a disney Chanel movie.

Damian: *he laughed* oh?

Jon, loving Damians laugh rn: yeah! it’s like they’re.. androids or somethin’.

Damian: why don’t you just find someone snarky from metropolis?

Jon: it wouldn’t be as fun then.

Jon: i like a challenge.

• getting to know damian was like trying to beat the hardest level in his game. it was mind blowing how many times he basically had to restart. Damian was also like a Rubix cube, but jon will get there. He already has 1 side done on it.

Jon: so you live with your brother?

Damian: yes.

Jon: nice

• jon didn’t pry. Damian and dick had became forgotten after bruces death, a lot of the kids did. they just all disappeared from the media like ghosts.

• so jon didn’t know that dick wasn’t his blood relative, or that Damian was Bruce’s child. no one really did

• it wasn’t like it mattered though anyways

Damian: basketball is lame.

Jon: have you ever played?

Damian: yes. it sucked ass

• jon has helped Damian restocked late at night sometimes. Damian doesn’t like him touching things, but the faster he does it, faster he can go home to get his pets, alfred, and his idiot brother

Damian: you waste a lot of gas coming to see me.

Jon: it’s worth it.

• jon had to get a job. boo. he worked on days he didn’t have practice and sadly, on sundays.

• he was a worker at a small cafe, he was just a waiter there

• and then one day, on a Sunday, Damian came in with a few people. WAIT DAMIAN CAME IN

Jon: DAMIAN

Damian, clearly startled: what the fuck, jon!

Jon: why’re you here! how long are you staying! ARE TOU REALLY HERE!

Maya: is this who you were talking about?

Damian: shut up.. but calm down, idiot.

Damian: .. you got a haircut.

Jon: you- you noticed? sorry I couldn’t come this week. was busy this week and needed to catch up on sleep.

Damian:’it’s fine. I guess I really should give you my number now.

Colin: that was smooth

Jon: really?

Damian: mhm. after you seat us, dumbass.

Aaaaa okay I just got inspired to work on my unnamed honkai/genshin oc so sorta long post incoming??

I've been using Jay as a placeholder name for her bc self insert lmao but uhhh she should have a Japanese name I just haven't decided what yet (I might just name her Blue Jay/Jay in Japanese lmao)

Jay's hometown is Nagazora and she was rescued by Schicksal when the Honkai destroyed her town

She decided to train as a valkyrie and met class monitor Fu Hua during her time at St. Freya (basically a school for training people to fight the Honkai)

Jay had a lot of conflicting feelings about her life up to that point, bc all she wanted to do was have a normal life, go to school, get a job, maybe adopt some cats and that's it, but now she got roped into a fight for humanity?? Pls she just wanted to vibe

So she struggled a lot w her examinations. She always aces the written portion but has a lot of trouble doing the actual fighting. She tends to get nervous and forget everything she's learned

Sorta the opposite of Kiana (the mc of the honkai storyline) whose fighting style is more "they can't kill me if they're already dead!!" Kiana tends to go in guns blazing and constantly fails the written portion of the exam so Hua decided to pair the two together and have them help each other out

As the next exam season drew near, Kiana had managed to pick up what Jay had been teaching her about the Honkai, but Jay had yet to make much progress in her fighting abilities

One day, Fu Hua finds Jay crying in her room before a training session w Kiana. Jay admits she feels like a failure to everybody bc she survived the Honkai eruption while all of her friends and family died, and yet she can't even do the bare minimum to fight back. Hua kinda pats her back awkwardly while Jay spills all of her feelings (bc Hua isn't that great w emotions lmao) and afterward she offers to give Jay some private tutoring in the martial arts she learned from her father

So Jay and Hua began meeting every day to train, and slowly but surely, Jay improves!

And over time, Jay starts falling for the stoic class monitor with a secret sweet side

Yes Jay has her gay awakening when Hua pins her to the wall during training

Jay would also eventually find out about Hua's past. I don't want to spoil too much so I'll just say that Hua has lived for thousands of years, but because of something that happened in the past, she's unable to recall most of her early memories. However all the abilities she's honed over the years are intact and she passed many of those techniques onto Jay

Fast forward to chapter 22 in the story, [redacted] happens (no spoilers lmao) but something went wrong and the space around Hua destabilized (this is diverging from canon rn). Jay grabbed Hua's hand right before the two were flung into the Sea of Quanta (a space between worlds)

After an unknown amount of time, Jay awoke in Liyue, with a pale pink feather in her hands but Fu Hua nowhere to be found. Since then, she had been searching for her beloved throughout Teyvat, with the hope that she can finally confess her feelings when they're reunited

During that time she became friends with Zhongli (who gave her similar vibes to Hua bc they were both calm and very wise), Childe (who insists on fighting her all the time bc of her unique combat style), and Hu Tao (whose voice reminded her of Kiana they have the same CN voice actor lol)

Jay hasn't told anyone why she's looking for Hua, just that Hua was "a close friend" but anyone observant enough can see that Jay's eyes fill with love and longing whenever she talks about Hua

(Also side note, when Jay first sees Kazuha she mistakes him for Hua bc he has the same hair as her lmao)

I can totally see Jay being intrigued by Tai bc of his phoenix vibes 👀 Hua used to be known as "Phoenix" way back in the day and also had fire powers lol

Also @ Scaradango anon I think Jay would probably run into Liu Gui when she first wakes up in Liyue!! Maybe she directs Jay to Liyue Harbor and tells her a bit about Teyvat? :0

I don’t know much about Honkai so I can’t fully appreciate the story but it sure is interesting!! I should probably play Honkai just so I can understand lol Really love your OC!!

About Taylor and Karlie being so different and stating they would be a bad couple: they actually have a lot in common. 1) They both started out at a very young age and succeeded in dominating their respective fields. 2) Karlie has talked about the impact of her career on her sisters and how she realizes they had to give up a lot – Taylor experienced this to with Austin and talked about it in interviews 3) Both business oriented Kapitalist Kweens 4) Very competitive at boardgames (1/2)

I mean at the end of the day only they know if they’re a good match or not and time has shown... they aren’t.

They do not share actual hobbies or interests although both are EXTREMELY passionate about theirs. Karlie loves sports, STEM, and healthy lifestyles. She loves business shit and entrepreneurship. Taylor loves music, art, fiction, hiking/walking but hates the gym and organized sports. Their taste is completely different - Karlie is sleek and minimal and modern, Taylor is OTT antique vibes. Karlie LOVES Rick and Morty. Taylor would not. Karlie LOVES fashion. At 20 Taylor thought Topshop was a designer 😬

Karlie adores fame and attention and having a platform (which she very much uses for good). She loves showing people her inner world, she’s super duper open. She loves showing off - she enjoys showing off Josh and their life together, she shows the little notes she leaves him for brekkie and photos him just hanging out etc. She loves having an enviable lifestyle. Maybe this question will be a nice deprive from the Gaylor of it all. Have you looked into Larry at all and if you have do you believe in it like you do Gaylor?

Well firstly Harry is out as unlabeled, right, per his Guardian interview last year. He also has the bigger career. Louis has said explicitly he is straight and he doesn’t enjoy the speculation and he and Eleanor are currently back together after he had a whole ass fling bébé and despite the fact that Larries and deranged 1D fans are so hectic to her she has had to turn off her comments. So like... the latter stuff is what makes me kind of side eye this speculation.

If a celeb asks you to stop speculating about their sexuality it obviously makes them uncomfortable. Louis’s baby mama’s family are like major Trump supporters. So even if he is some kind of fluid it might not be a vibe he wants to address and that’s fair it’s not our business.

Louis and Harry (but especially Harry to me lmao) are both cute boys and maybe they fooled about back in the day. Or maybe it was a Camren style situation and Harry just had a big ass crush on the cute older boy.

I think the fact that Harry is out and Louis is either straight or so far in the closet he’s having tea with Mr Tumnus rn makes this a pretty different situation to Gaylor.

Like Tay might one day - I doubt it but she might - come out as some form of fluid. Kar won’t ever. Would that immediately mean nothing ever happened between them? Not really. And like I say maybe Larry happened in some way. But it’s overz now and I think if you stan queer Harry - so just like actual Harry lmao - it makes sense to manifest him stepping out with a boyf.

He’s SUCH a ninja with his personal life - because of Larries and general psycho 1D fangirls - that I think he’ll only properly step out with someone he’s like 10000% sure about at that time. Which could be a woman, a man, or someone enby. We’ll see.
