Sponsor grants to entrants a limited revocable, non-sub-licensable, license to use the Provided Materials for the sole purpose of creating an entry, if an entrant chooses to do so. Use of Provided Materials is not required for entry, nor will it affect an entrant’s chances of winning. In addition, entrant recognizes that all of the right, title, and interest in the Provided Materials as well as all derivative works created using the Provided Materials (including an entry) shall vest exclusively in Sponsor, and entrant will not have or take any action that might harm or adversely affect such rights. No right, title, or interest in and to the Provided Materials except for the limited license granted to entrant in these Official Rules is transferred or created.
Use of any prohibited elements in an entry may result in disqualification of the applicable entry, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Entrants must not engage in any violent, dangerous, or illegal behavior in creating an entry. Entries must not violate or encourage the violation of any law, rule or regulation. Entries must not contain inappropriate content, including but not limited to vulgarity, obscenity, lewd, pornographic or violent material, or materials which promote hate or violence. Entries must not defame, misrepresent or contain disparaging remarks about Sponsor or its products, or other people, products or companies. Entries must not defame or invade the privacy or publicity rights of any person (including, but not limited to, celebrities or celebrity look-alikes), living or deceased, or otherwise infringe upon a person's personal or proprietary rights. Entries that do not include all required information and do not adhere to the foregoing and following requirements or are deemed to be immoral, obscene, profane or not in keeping with Sponsor's image (all as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion) will be considered void.
By participating in a Promotion, you represent and warrant that: (a) you are the creator of your entry; (b) your entry is wholly original (apart from the Provided Materials or any allowable public domain elements); (c) your entry does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights or any other legal or moral rights of any third party; (d) your entry has not previously been entered in any other promotion; and (e) you own all rights to your entry (including, without limitation, the copyrights contained therein, and excluding any allowable public domain or Sponsor-owned elements).
By participating in a Promotion, if you include a photo as part of your participation, you further represent and warrant that: (a) you have obtained written permission from each person whose image or likeness is included in the photo (and if such person is under the age of 18 or has not yet reached the age of majority in his/her jurisdiction of residence, you have also obtained written permission from that person’s parent or legal guardian); (b) if you are not the person who took the applicable photo, you have obtained written permission from the person who took the applicable photo and such person(s) have granted all necessary rights to use the applicable photo; (c) you can and will give written copies of such permissions to the Sponsor upon request; and (d) you understand that such documents may be required in order to be deemed a winner. Failure to provide said proof may result in disqualification of the entry from the applicable Promotion. Sponsor's determination as to whether any entry potentially violates the rights of any third party is final. Submitting an entry that is copyrighted by another individual will make you responsible for any legal action the legal copyright holder might take against you.
By participating in a Promotion, you grant the Sponsor and its affiliated companies the unconditional (subject only to any applicable rights of Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter) and perpetual right and permission to reproduce, encode, store, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, publicly perform, edit, adapt, modify, create derivative works of, exhibit, and otherwise use the entry or part thereof (with or without using your name) in any media throughout the world for any purpose, without limitation, and without additional review, compensation, or approval from you or any other party. Without limiting the foregoing, Sponsor reserves the right to post an online gallery of entries selected in its sole discretion, or to re-post on Facebook, Instagram, and/or Twitter any entries selected in its sole discretion. Should Sponsor edit your entry for purposes of re-use, you are not relieved from responsibility for compliance with these Official Rules. You agree that, upon request by the Sponsor, you will sign a copyright assignment. By participating, you further agree not to instigate, support, maintain, or authorize any action, claim, or lawsuit against the Released Parties (as defined below in Section 8), or any other person or entity, on the grounds that any use of the entry, or any derivative works, infringes any of your rights, including, without limitation, copyrights and moral rights. You further acknowledge that, unless specified otherwise herein, the Sponsor is in no way obligated to broadcast, publish or use your entry in any way. Nothing herein shall constitute an employment, joint venture, or partnership relationship between you and the Sponsor. In no way are you to be construed as the agent or to be acting as the agent of the Sponsor.
Further, by participating, each entrant: (a) agrees to waive any claim for reimbursement for any equipment or materials necessary to submit an entry regardless of whether or not any particular entry is selected for any prize; (b) acknowledges that the material that will be submitted as part of the Promotions may embody materials, suggestions, or ideas similar to those which have been developed by others or by the Released Parties (as defined below in Section 8) and hereby acknowledges that any similarity is purely coincidental and unavoidable in light of the volume of ideas that the Released Parties routinely use and consider in the course of each of their business activities, and understands that he/she will not be entitled to any compensation because of use by the Released Parties of any materials similar to those in an entrant’s entry; (c) hereby waives any right to any claim or liability with respect to the Released Parties’ use of similar materials; and (d) understands that submitting any element that is copyrighted by another individual will result in the applicable entrant being responsible for any legal action the legal copyright holder might take against the Released Parties.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received for the applicable Promotion (on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter combined). Eligible entries received for a particular Promotion will NOT be carried forward into any subsequent Promotion(s). Limit one (1) prize per person/household, for the duration Promotions 1 through 4.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION AND GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: The names of potential winners and/or their social media names and/or “handles” may be announced online prior to verification, however any such announcement is not a guarantee of eligibility. Potential winners will be notified via direct or private message on the applicable social media platform, or via a winner notification comment on the applicable Promotional Post where Sponsor will mention or tag the potential winner in the comment. The message or comment will instruct the potential winner to send a private message to the Sponsor along with the potential winner’s full name, email address, and telephone number, within three (3) full business days (measured in the local time zone) after the time that the comment/message was posted/sent. It is recommended that entrants confirm that their Facebook, Instagram and/or Twitter notification settings are turned on, such that they would be notified in a timely fashion of Sponsor’s attempt to contact them in this manner. Potential winner must reply as instructed to identify him/herself, confirm his/her eligibility and ability to accept the prize, and provide his/her requested contact information within such three (3) full business day period, or he/she will be disqualified. A potential winner may subsequently be required to complete an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release, a copyright assignment, and (where legal) a publicity release, and any other releases or documentation deemed necessary for Sponsor’s intended use of the winning entry, which must be returned within the time period specified by Sponsor at the time of such request. If any prize remains unclaimed after three (3) potential winners have been notified for that prize, the prize may remain unawarded, in Sponsor’s sole discretion. No responsibility is assumed by Sponsor for any incorrect or missing contact information associated with an entry, or any change of such contact information after entry submission. Any prize details and restrictions not specified will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. No prize transfer. Unless otherwise specified herein, no prize substitution except at Sponsor’s sole discretion due to unavailability, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded. All other costs and expenses associated with acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein as being awarded are the sole responsibility of the winners. Sponsor will not replace any lost, damaged or stolen prizes. All taxes (including without limitation Federal, state and local taxes) in connection with a prize, and the reporting consequence thereof, are the sole responsibility of the applicable winner. Sponsor makes no representations regarding the tax liability associated with any prize, and winner is advised to seek counsel regarding any tax liabilities associated with their prize. 8. PUBLICITY: By participating, you grant to Sponsor and its affiliated companies the right, except where prohibited by law, to use your name, likeness, picture, address (city and state), voice, biographical information, entry and written or oral statements, for advertising and promotional purposes in promoting or publicizing Sponsor, its affiliated companies, and the products or services of each, in any and all media without limitation as to time or territory, without compensation unless required by law. You shall have no right of approval, no claim to compensation, and no claim (including, without limitation, claims based on invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity) arising out of any use, blurring, alteration, or use in composite form of your name, picture, likeness, address (city and state), biographical information, or entry.
13.   Sponsor will select one (1) winner per day during the course of the Entry Periods. All Entrants must complete the Entry requirements each day by 11:59 PM PST, until the last Entry Period on March 2, 2021. Entrants who provide Entries which violate any of these requirements may be deemed ineligible to participate in the Sweepstakes or receive the prize and their Entry or Entries may be void at the Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify, in their sole and absolute discretion, any Entries deemed inappropriate or that do not comply with the Sweepstakes Official Rules. A one year subscription to Crunchyroll – approximate retail value (“ARV”): US$95.00
  All prize details are at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Cash alternative is allowed only at the sole discretion of Sponsor. If a prize cannot be awarded due to circumstances beyond the control of Sponsor, a substitute prize may be awarded.  If a winner cannot accept a prize, or any portion thereof, as stated, the prize may be forfeited or offered to another entrant at the sole discretion of Sponsor.  The value of the prize represents Sponsor’s good faith determination of the maximum retail value thereof. WARRANTY: It is an express condition of Entry and eligibility that each Entrant warrants and represents that Entrant’s Entry is solely owned by Entrant and solely created by Entrant for the purpose of entering this Sweepstakes, and that no other party has any rights or interest in the Entry. Entrant further represents and warrants that the Entry and any use thereof by Sponsor, and each of its’ parent companies, subsidiaries and affiliates in connection with programming, advertising, promotion and publicity, shall not infringe upon any statutory or common law copyright and shall not constitute a defamation, or invasion of the right of privacy or publicity, or infringement of any other right of any kind of any third party.
  12. RELEASE: By participating, each Entrant agrees that Sponsor and its respective agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, units and Sponsor’s divisions and advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers and all entities involved in the production, sponsorship and/or promotion of the prize, or any part thereof, including, without limitation, each of their respective employees, shareholders, officers, legal advisors and directors; and each of these companies and individuals' respective successors, representatives and assigns (“collectively, the “Released Parties”) are not responsible or liable for, and shall be released and held harmless from: (i) late, lost, delayed, damaged, incomplete, illegible, unintelligible, misdirected or otherwise undeliverable mail, email, or tweets, postage-due notices, release forms, affidavits or other correspondence; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties of any kind; (iii) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Released Parties that may cause the Sweepstakes to be disrupted or corrupted; (iv) any printing, human, typographical or other errors or ambiguities in (or involving) any materials associated with the Sweepstakes; (v) any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and action of any kind in connection with or resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes; (vi) acceptance, possession, or use of any grant, including without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage arising there from; and (vii) claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. Sponsors reserve the right, subject to any governmental approval which may be required, to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, to suspend or cancel the Sweepstakes at any time for any reason, including, without limitation, if a computer virus, bug or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, or proper conduct of the Sweepstakes, strikes, lock-outs, acts of God, alien invasions, zombie apocalypse, artificial intelligence take-over or robot ascension, technical difficulties, and other events not within the reasonable control of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, at their sole discretion, to prohibit any Entrant from participating in the Sweepstakes or to disqualify any individual they find, in their sole determination, to be tampering with the Entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes; to be attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes by cheating, hacking, deception, or any other unfair playing practices; to be acting in violation of the Official Rules; or to be acting in a disruptive manner, or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person. Sponsor may suspend or discontinue the Sweepstakes if, in its sole opinion, there is any actual or suspected tampering of the Sweepstakes, or any other malfunction, event or activity that may affect the integrity of the Sweepstakes. SPONSOR SHALL NOT BE OBLIGATED TO AWARD ANY PRIZE THAT RELATES TO OR ARISES OUT OF IMPROPER OR MISTAKEN PRIZE NOTIFICATION, OPERATION OR FUNCTION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
  13. INDEMNITY: Entrant shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all liability, claims, loss, damage, injury or expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising out of or in connection with any third party action arising out of or in connection with (i) Entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes, (ii) a breach or allegation which if true would constitute a breach, of any of Entrant’s representations, warranties or obligations herein, and/or (iii) acceptance, possession, or use of any prize or travel related to such prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death and property damage arising there from.
  14. DISPUTES: This Sweepstakes is governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without respect to any choice of law or conflict of law principles that would result in the application of any law other than that of California.  As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, Entrants agree that any and all disputes which cannot be resolved between the parties and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes, shall be resolved individually through binding arbitration, without resort to any form of class action, in accordance with the arbitration provision set forth below.
  15.  ARBITRATION PROVISION:  By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant agrees that any and all disputes the entrant may have with, or claims entrant may have against, the Released Parties relating to, arising out of or connected in any way with (i) the Sweepstakes, (ii) the awarding or redemption of any prize, and/or (iii) the determination of the scope or applicability of this agreement to arbitrate, will be resolved individually and exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the National Arbitration Forum (the “Forum”) and conducted before a sole arbitrator pursuant to the Code of Procedure established by the Forum. The arbitration shall be held at a location determined by the Forum pursuant to the Code of Procedure, or at such other location as may be mutually agreed upon by the participant and Sponsor. The arbitrator's decision shall be controlled by the terms and conditions of these Official Rules and any of the other agreements referenced herein that the applicable participant may have entered into in connection with the Sweepstakes. There shall be no authority for any claims to be arbitrated on a class or representative basis; arbitration can decide only the participant's and/or Sponsor’s individual claims and the arbitrator may not consolidate or join the claims of other persons or parties who may be similarly situated. The arbitrator shall not have the power to award special or punitive damages against the participant or Released Parties. If any part of this Arbitration Provision is deemed to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the balance of this Arbitration Provision shall remain in effect and shall be construed in accordance with its terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

By entering the Sweepstakes, you grant Sponsor permission to collect, use and share your email address and any other personally identifiable information for the purpose of Sweepstakes administration and prize fulfillment.

Thinking About Running a Contest on Facebook? Here’s What You Need to Know.

With over 2.6 billion monthly active users, Facebook continues to be the biggest social network worldwide, despite the growing popularity of other platforms, such as Instagram. Factors like Facebook’s ongoing growth and algorithm changes are certainly making it difficult for brands to gain attention, but there are ways to continue to stay relevant! 
One great way to engage with your current audience and attract new followers is by running a contest or sweepstakes. This type of initiative is interactive and engaging  and is sure to help you hit your Facebook marketing goals. If you’ve ever been curious about doing something of this nature for your brand, know that it is an idea worth exploring! 
Running a Facebook contest, however, is not as simple as posting a photo and asking followers to take an action for a chance to win. There are certain strategic steps you need to take first, as well as platform rules that must be followed. We’ve outlined everything you need to know below.
Step 1: Familiarize yourself with Facebook’s guidelines 
Before you do anything, it’s important to understand Facebook’s rules regarding contests. Per the platform: 
If you use Facebook to communicate or administer a promotion (ex: a contest or sweepstakes), you are responsible for the lawful operation of that promotion, including
The official rules;
Offer terms and eligibility requirements (ex: age and residency restrictions); and
Compliance with applicable rules and regulations governing the promotion and all prizes offered (ex: registration and obtaining necessary regulatory approvals).

Step 2: Select your contest goal
Like any other piece of content or campaign you’d run on social media, you should have a main goal you want to accomplish by running a contest. The goal you decide on will influence all of the other factors that go into planning your contest, thus making the entire process easier, as your plan of action will be clearer.
Some example goals include: 
Gain new Facebook followers
Drive traffic to your website 
Collect email addresses for future marketing campaigns 
Collect user-generated content for future content calendars and campaigns 
Increase awareness around a specific product or your brand as a whole 
Step 3: Decide on an entry method 
There are numerous ways you can ask users to enter the contest, but the option you go with should align with your overall goal. Great options include posting a unique photo or video and tagging your business, or filling out a form on a landing page or via a Facebook app.

Step 4: Determine the prize

More often than not, your own products or services are the best prizes to offer! Users who enter to win will be people who are interested in your brand. Sure, they might prefer to receive your product for free, but once they’ve imagined winning it, they’ll appreciate it more and be inspired to buy. 
Additionally, the prize needs to be valuable enough that people will stop scrolling and take the time to enter your contest. Consider giving away an item or service that is one of the most expensive things you offer. 
Step 5: Iron out the additional details 
Once you have a goal, entry method, and prize solidified, go over all of the other details that need to be worked out to make this contest successful. 
For example, if you’re looking to collect emails for future promotions, make sure that you’re creating a form that includes a spot to enter an email address. Additionally, if you’re collecting emails, think about whether or not you want to send a promo code to all entrants as a thank you for participating. If yes, that’s additional content that needs to be created and ready to go. 
In short, make sure all of your ducks are in a row before launch! 
Step 6: Craft your official rules 
In terms of your official contest rules, make sure you clearly outline the below: 
Your company info (location, website, etc.)
Contest start and end dates 
How the winner will be selected 
How the winner will be notified 
What the the prize is and what its value is 
Eligibility
Minimum age, number of times users can enter, eligible countries to win, cases that will result in disqualification, etc.

Step 7: Launch and promote your contest

Step 8: Determine a winner and notify them
