Solus (my Tav) & Lae’zel long after the events of bg3, I’m still experimenting with both their attire once the two join the war against Vlaakith, both in their casual wear and war gear. Gonna work on one where the roles are reversed whenever I get to it. In the meantime please stay tuned for a new piece I’ve completed and maaaybe some screenshots.

Baldur’s Gate 3 OCs

My current and favored Tavs

“Freyah Yre” (The Dark Urge), “Solus Aximand”(The War-Forged Monk) & Shaz’zath (The Willful Oathbreaker Githyanki). I shall cherish them always🥹

I have their origins fleshed out a bit, also wanted to post more of Shaz since he’s featured in an upcoming lore snippet with Solus, in events prior to bg3. I’m still touching it up before posting, may add sketched imagery. But for now I thought I’d post these three Tavs to introduce them later on through fanfic writings and illustrations.

Baldur’s Gate 3 - A grumpy Solus Aximand (Tav) portrait The Warrior Monk

(Little Origin Lore “Good Ol’Goat” - a nickname given to him during his time part of a small barbarian war band. He head butted an Orthon challenging it, earning him the title by his new barbarian comrades who aided in this fight. The word “good” in the title comes from Solus’ sense of trying to do a reasonable amount of good, even though he himself doesn’t consider himself as such, to him it’s simply being a decent person. Compared to the others of this band, he was considered a goodie goodie, honestly some of the others were some rough, dark minded individuals.)

So this is gonna be my official first Tumblr though post and update on what I have planned I guess. I thought about it a lot, I may begin posting little snippet prompts featuring Solus' past and his present life alongside Lae’zel and Xan as well as their little moments together through the bg3 acts. Inspired by fellow artists/writers and questions asked about Solus, I think I want to futher flesh him out. Getting into both the thoughts and emotions of Solus, Lae’zel and other bg3 characters both oc and already established. They'll begin as little comic sketches, something I've always thought of doing and even finishing but haven't dedicated myself to for a while. It's faster to just write😅. But for now we'll start small, I'll provide sketched imagery and eventually move on from there. I have some stuff already written out, just have to edit it, make it read and sound somewhat appealing and readable as I can.

Also big thanks for the reblogs, likes and new followers, I greatly appreciate it, keeps me going and glad my art reached you all.💙💚

random OC ask: say your OC is a love interest (in BG3 or a relationship-heavy game format of your choosing) — what does their first romance or "deepening the relationship" cutscene look like?

Hmm, well conceptually speaking, he would "just so happen to" setup a tranquil workstation around his usual area. With a little workbench where he'd be wrapping the grip of a sword, dagger or even a staff.

Having subtle nature decor around the little workbench with an arc made of vines. He's a hopeless romantic with a side of spice too, lol I wouldn't know exactly how it'd go but he would use a demonstration of wrapping He's learned during his time at the monastery to teach the romancer character. Willing to show them his personal wrapping techniques, saying that on his free time he would neatly wrap cloth around things creating little pieces of art out of them. The romancer can continue listening to him leading to a more delicate pacing of intimacy, or firmly grab the cloth he's using to demonstrate and wrap it around both Solus' and the romancer's wrist, initiating that this'll will be a more of a bold approach to an intimate experience. Which he is no stranger too and will smirk at. And the last is to just let him know, that you're uninterested in the whole thing and leave lol.

All in all, I'd say Solus would try something that would open conversation, to show his interest. As long as he is with whomever he's romancing or interested in or a possible Tav if he were to be written in the game I guess. I feel he'd try to make it romantic whichever choice is chosen. Of course if denied he will simply revert back to a more stoic and unmoved attitude while still respecting the romancer's refusal to further the deepening onset of the romance.
