Been reading more hybrid SubMas stuff lately and whenever one of the twins are a type of hybrid where singing along with/back to them is a form of courting.... I get so nervous that even thinking about singing in public makes me tense

So like... not an ask but just a general question- how would an s/o, who's too shy to sing to court one or both of the twins, go about expressing their love? I can imagine them getting so stressed out wanting to respond to the mating/courting song (?) but ending up frozen in place trying to let out even a single note

Like- "I really do love you with all my heart and soul but singing is too nerve wracking 🥺😔"

i imagine they're distressed until they realize/see that you really are trying, but fear is getting the best of you. they're understanding, if a little confused, and they're very supportive once you explain that you just fear singing in front of other people

this admittance, however, will lead to them trying to sneak up on you to hear you sing to yourself. they think your voice is lovely, however it sounds, so they try and coax it out of you, and trip over themselves giving you praise should you manage even a single note for them

besides, there are other ways of courting, like through gifts and fancy dances <3

maybe they're trying to bring in new audience. Is it actually FOR native americans? Maybe they're hoping to draw that in? But that's an audience change while trying to maintain branding. Middle aged housewives there for jared leave, and I'm sure there's dudes that really like mcnamara but that's also a very different crowd. So they're trying to pull an entirely different audience, but with the same branding, and content not cultivated to the presumed new audience.

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.
