maybe it means something more that Marco wasn't in the smoke. given that Jean viewed the smoke with Connie, of course it's Sasha that they both see. we ALL know Marco was missing in that scene, and that could be intentional. i think there's a greater theme to those characters seen in the smoke, and Marco doesn't fit that theme. seeing Marco is so personal to Jean.

instead of seeing Marco once in that smoke, Jean sees Marco every day.

Mako….!! It depends what you’ll define as winning, I suppose! The anime ending juiced up their final goodbye something severe and while I have MANY thoughts and emotions about it (a very avid/rigid fan of canon and sticking to source material, for one), the easy surface go-to after seeing that almost 15 minute long scene and hearing their added dialogue, is to say: HOLY SHIT THAT CHEMISTRY! The INTENSITY and PASSION!? Armin really said “we did this. This was our dream you took and ran with. I’ll join you in hell for this - where we’ll be together forever” and Eren said he’d wait for him there. Bruh.

After having been so, so hurt…. this ending, albeit not sitting QUITE perfect with me, actually truly healed my heart a little. And I needed it sorely, personally. It feels like we came full circle with this bond. The BOND that, after all this time, is eremin and is special. Eremin is real. People may argue about its borders but it IS real. And the intensity of that bond was put on such display today, it really was a feast! An ending that patches together something I thought had been bleeding out in my heart… Something was slightly repaired. Eremin got an intense, bloody wrap-up, and I’m so grateful.

If you have any need or wish to see it wrapped, I’d say go ahead and watch this final episode/movie for yourself. It’s bound to leave you feeling like those two share something intense. And that’s… validation, in the very least.

Hi! Yes, I actually watched it over a day ago, but I don't usually share "spoilers" here on Tumblr because I'm always scared of triggering someone, lol.

My best take on those leaks? Either they are fake as heck (probably) or someone needs to cancel Yam's HBO subscription… he's been watching House of the Dragon way too much, lol.

At first, I was a bit worried because the person who leaked them on Reddit used to leak manga stuff back in the day, and they were accurate from time to time. But apparently, that person hasn't been around Reddit in years, so there's a high chance it's someone pretending to be them.

Honestly, they make absolutely no sense, hahaha. They make so much NONSENSE that it's actually funny. The whole Kuchel wearing mascara? As if this is… fifty shades of grey, and they're meeting at a ball without knowing they are siblings? HAHA 🚬🚬CINE🚬🚬

I've seen fics on Wattpad with better and less creepy plots than this… and I've read VERY weird fics on Wattpad.

I love that people are defending that Levi doesn't have problems with endogamy because of "Ackerman's powers" as if they are… I don't know, some magical solution to everything or "CRISPR Cas9."

Not going to lie, usually, endogamy starts to create problems further down in the family legacy when it's done between, well… cousins, aunts, etc. Usually, people think "endogamy = immediate problems," but usually, it doesn't; it takes a few generations of it. But between siblings? lol, there's a high chance that the pregnancy won't even reach term! But this is me rambling as a biotechnologist at this point, lmao.

Another "option" I heard was that they were "re-drawing" the first panels, and it actually was EREN IN THE PATHS watching Levi's life…. my first thought? "Eren voyeur! Watch your own life, creep!" Hahah, can you imagine? Eren there like a stalker watching Levi's life? God… the imagination of this fandom.

Oh well… let's have fun about it while we can and then pretend it never happened, lmao.

Hi. Did you watch the last AOT episode?

Hi! Yes I saw it. I think Mappa did a very good job as usual, and stayed true to the manga.

I very much liked however that they expanded on Hange’s death, giving their sacrifice the time it deserved. In the manga it wasn’t clear, but in the episode they showed how many titans Hange took down, how it really made the difference. And they made it beautiful. Hange’s cape flapping in the wind, the “titans truly are magnificent” moment with Hange weightlessly floating in the air, the effort, the power and the resolve expressed in their fight, Romi Park’s voice acting, the violin music.

Then for the very last seconds the view switches to first-person, and you get to see what Hange last saw, its end, and it hits hard. I guess you don’t have that very often with a character dying, where you usually experience A’s death from B’s perspective.

It’s the first time I notice how what Ramzi said to Halil somewhat mirrors Eren’s line of reasoning: he steals to ‘protect his families’, ‘because someone has to do it’, ‘to get out of these ‘tents’. He even lost his hand in the process. This part is also in the manga, and I don’t know whether this is intentional on Isayama’s part, and in that case what this could mean.

The rumbling was terrifying enough, but I’m surprised Mappa left out the cliff scene of chapter 134. It was one of the most horrifying images of the rumbling, and one that upset me most while reading the manga. Anyway, I think the episode conveyed the cruelty and blindness of the rumbling crushing foot quite well. I don’t follow the fandom discourse anymore, but I hope it won’t leave any doubt in anime watchers about how wrong Eren’s actions are.
