Slumberland was really good! Despite the reviews it got, I really enjoyed it. I would go for a second one.

Slumberland (Netflix)
not spoiler free - DO NOT READ UNLESS YOU WATCHED THE MOVIE! thx :)
7/10
Firstly, I had no idea what this movie was about but it was movie night and my fam decided to watch it. My suggestion would be to keep going after the first 10-15 mins. Keep going. I know it’s going to give off the vibe of “I’m not sure what’s going on and idk if I like it”. This movie was actually pretty good! Also surprisingly was similar to my obsession with the sandman and the waking/dream worlds. It was entertaining and me and the fam tried to figure out who the peoples real lives were (iykyk) and the salsa lady’s was the best lmao. Anyways… it was good just make it past the beginning cuz the beginning is kinda rough :)

As an autistic adult who loves dreaming because my imagination makes my dreams INTENSE and whimsical and fun, Slumberland is now my #1 favorite movie. It is so important to me. Marlow is a treat as a newcomer, Jason Momoa is EVERYTHING to me as Flip. Me and my own daughter have greatly bonded over it and been talking about our dreams. Just wowowow new fantasy in 2022 that reminds me of a golden age of childrens fantasy movies is healing me greatly tonight.
