My little headcanon about the djinn is that when you get one it causes funky physical changes for the wearer. So like when Alibaba is angry or annoyed his hair starts flickering with fire or puffs of smoke will escape his mouth. Sinbad’s had Baal for so long that sometimes he accidentally shocks people with static when he’s not paying attention, and Kouen hasn’t gotten sick ever since he obtained Phenex etc

I've really just had a realization that Sinbad told Kougyoku that Alibaba knew about Zepar... while Alibaba was still considered dead...

It'd make sense if he used that once Alibaba came back, to divide them, since Alibaba was pretty instrumental in Kou's revival, but what did he think he'd gain by telling her earlier? Literally my best idea is he'd done that to gaslight her, but, damn, using a dead man's name to do so? Very low.

I don’t know why Artemis Fowl is trending, but seeing everyone’s lovely fanart reminded me that when I was a child I didn’t really pay attention to character descriptions, so my mental images were based entirely on vibes. Anyway, this is how 10-year-old me pictured Artemis and Butler:
