Description: Ningguang and Pantalone are proud of being of Creator's good side. With power of mora and buisnesses, they will gain more strength, gaining even more favours from Creator to their nations.
Unfortunately, mora is low due to attacks on caravans.
But, this new possible partner, who wants to offer organise trades between nations, peak their interest.
Warning: OOC. English is my second language. Slight mutilation (non-descriptive). Dehumanisation (Reader called 'it'.
______
Mora is stability.
Mora is power.
Mora is respect.
People need mora to get food, clothes, houses. Everything.
People need mora to build shrines for Creator.
Ningguang and Pantalone use mora to give Creator respect and happiness.
______
Pantalone's eyes twitched.
Another ship was sailed, another caravan was attacked.
And nothing can be done about it.
Dottore tried. And look, where he is now? Went completely mad, tried to kill Creator, and now is locked in a cell.
It became another hit on Snezhnaya's reputation in the eyes of other nations.
And in the eyes of Creator.
Their Holiness, after Dirty Imposter disappeared, were wrecked with sorrow.
Each day, nations brought gifts to the ivory throne.
Each day, people were searching for an Imposter.
Both of these actions were focused on bringing back Creator's smile.
And both actions required mora.
Mora, that Snezhnaya start becoming low.
Pantalone breathe in.
The situation was bad.
Yes, he has enough mora to spoil Creator for the next hundreds of years.
Yet, in this situation, he needs more mora.
Much more.
Pantalone looked at the pile of open letters he had on his table. Offers, coming from different groups. Travelers, mercenary, wanderers.
All of them offered their help in moving goods from nation to nation.
All of them failed.
Pantalone took another unopened letter.
He read through it.
Another offer. And he has no other choice, except it.
__________
Ningguang read through the contract one more time. It was written on a fancy paper with an ornament around the edges. Pantalone, who was sitting next to her, read through his own contract.
Pantalone spoke, looking at possible businesses partner above glasses.
"I must say, Mister Fitzgerald, it's quite an interesting offer."
Blonde businessman smiles politely.
Pantalone cast an interested gaze on the gems, that were laying in the middle of the table.
Gems looked stunning. They looked almost perfect, they varied in sizes.
"Are you sure, that you could transport all the goods safely? You are aware of the situation, right?"
Fitzgerald took one of the gems.
"Mister Pantalone, Miss Ningguang, I assure you, My Team and I are more than capable of doing it. As you can see."
Fitzgerald pointed at the gems. "We have this gems here. From Fontaine. And we did a great job transporting them."
Pantalone and Ningguang looked at each other. Everyone said that. Everyone failed. Ningguang and Pantalone don't have any other choice.
Ningguang spoke.
"True. Let's try to do it. We spent a lot of mora on the Imposter Hunt. All these rewards and mercenaries."
Pantalone chuckled.
"But it was worth it. I even got a precious relic from it."
There were envy in Ningguang's eyes. She also has a little souvenir from the Hunt. Yet, in comparison to Pantalone's, her trophy was simpler.
"Anyway, It's a deal, Mr Fitzgerald."
Both contracts were signed.
Francis broke a tree trunk, when he left Liyue.
Pantalone lost a lot of jewelry because of it.
_______
The first trade was from Liyue to Mondstadt.
If someone saw a new trade caravan, they would think, that they have gone mad.
First, instead of a horse or ox, a white tiger was (somehow) harnessed to the cart. Atsushi chuffed from time to time, but did his job perfectly.
Fitzgerald was walking beside white tiger, looking around. He spoke out loud.
"Look, Weretiger boy, a dangerous monster."
Francis points at the hydro slime, that was more interested in berries, then caravan.
Meanwhile, Francis activated his ability.
"This beast can be defeated only with 100000000 mora punch. Mister Pantalone and Miss Ningguang were so generous, agreeing to give away all their mora, all their possessions to us, right?"
Atsushi scoffed.
Fitzgerald's punch left just a few hydro droplets from the slime.
Somewhere in Snezhnaya, in one of Pantalone's safes, 100000000 disappeared.
"We are saved... Oh, no! Another one!" theatrically gasped Fitzgerald, pointing at lizard, that was staring at the cart.
"This one is more deadly! I must double the effort!"
When the caravan arrived at Mondstadt (Atsushi turned back before someone could notice his tiger form), Ningguang's and Pantalone's safes became more spacious. And Teyvat wildlife get some damage.
______
Fitzgerald's plan was risky, to tell the truth. According to you and books Jouno and others have brought from Teyvat, there was only one language in Teyvat. At least, the only official language. There was no information, if other languages existed. But Francis decided to take this risk.
With some help from Poe, Natsume, Rimbaud and Fyodor, Fitzgerald created an 'ornament'. A synthetic language, that was made from mix of English, French and Russian alphabet and grammar. With Poe's writing, new words looked like an ornament.
The ornament, that proclaims, that person, who sigh the contract, will give away all their money and possessions to Fitzgerald.
And he has a nice little ability to use with new finance help.
_________
Francis stared at what was before him.
He proved, that he can be trusted. And, his businesses 'partners' show them, what their trophy's from the Imposter Hunt were.
_____
Ningguang had four bloodied canines....
****
Dirty Sinner were put in stocks in the middle of Liyue's Harbor. It looked half dead.
It wasn't enough. Tommorow it will be executed. It still have too much dignity.
Rocks, dirt, rotten fruits, manure...
Everything were thrown in Imposter.
It wasn't enough.
Ningguang stare at Imposter.
Its mouth were in blisters.
Its teeth were intact...
A dagger and her fingers weren't the best instruments for a dental practice.
But, Ningguang managed.
*****
And Pantalone had two pinkie fingers in the jar....
*****
It screamed, when its injured feet made contact with snow. Pantalone grinned.
He got a great trophy.
First one, who did it.
Soon, Imposter will lose even more.
Acolytes needs mementos from their great victory.
_______
Fitzgerald saw the mountains of gifts. Gifts for that beast, who ordered to hunt after his treasure.
And he, Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, must be the one, who delivered it.
Francis can't stay here. In Teyvat.
He needs some real world.
He hopped, that he would reached Lowecraft 'waiting' place, before the sunrise.
_______
Fitzgerald stumbled from the portal, back to their world. He wasn't looking, where he was going. He needs to see you. To make sure, that you aren't in pain.
"What have you learned about, Fitzgerald?" Yosano's voice was sympathetic.
Francis looked at her. She was waiting for his answer.
She was the only one, who knew everything about your injuries.
Before that night, Fitzgerald only knew about burns.
He finally found his voice.
"Teeth... Toes..."
His voice was muffled, when Yosano hugged him, pressing his face to her shoulder.
She let him cry.
________
Pantalone was happy. Fitzgerald did a great job. Trades between nations slowly start anew.
Slowly, mire mora will come to Snezhnaya and his vault. And he will spend it to make Creator happy.
Suddenly, his mansion starts shaking.
The next moment, Pantalone was sitting on the Shezhnaya's snow. His home was nowhere in sight.
_______
In Guyun Stone Forest some of the stone spears, that Morax threw during Archon War, collapsed. Fitzgerald was sure, that crystalfly was a dangerous predator.
________
Ningguang grabbed the table, trying to stay on her feet. She was having a conversation with other Qixing, discussing, what other things they could trade with other nations, to use new mora on gifts for Creator, when half of the pillars in Guyun Stone Forest collapsed. Before anyone could react, a second earthquake came, destroying the rest of the stone pillars.
Outside, people of Liyue saw, how Jade chamber disappeared right before the earthquake.
______
Fitzgerald saw a second crystalfly.
______
Both Ningguang and Pantalone have a headache.
They have lost their houses. And, somehow, almost all mora they owned. There were no sighs of treasure horders or weasel thieves. Both Ningguang and Pantalone knew, how to be careful with spending mora.
Yet, both now have one thousand mora each.
The knock on the door made Pantalone and Ningguang turned their heads towards the exit.
Baisi noticeably flinched. She looked terrified.
"We finished looking through taxes declarations... And..."
Baisi put the documents on the table and left.
In a few moments, two loud shouts were heard.
"WHAT DOES IT MEAN, THAT HALF OF TEYVAT POPULATION BECAME BROKE?!"
______
Spa was quiet. Spa was good.
And this spa was completely yours and Fitzgerald's for today.
Fitzgerald announced, earlier today, that you two will have a self-care day. And 'drag' you here.
You had some sweets prepared for you.p
"Now, try this, Treasure" Fitzgerald put a sweet roll right to your lips. You took a generous bite.
Francis secretly smiles.
All your teeth were intact.
He cast a quick glance to your feet.
Currently, you two enjoyed foot massage.
Francis smiles. Your pinkies were here.
He squeezed your hand.
And promised to himself, to keep you safe and sound. And make sure, that no one will even think about taking something from you as a trophy.
____
Bonus
You raise an eyebrow, looking at all the mora Mark, Steinbeck, Dazai, Anglo, Fyodor and Sigma brought in the house.
You took one of the coins. It glimmered in daylight.
Without looking away from the coin, you asked.
"Okay, I will ask. How?"
Twain looked pleased with himself.
"We rob one of the banks, that belonged to that one, in glasses."
Steinbeck added.
"Fitzgerald won't be the only one, who could rob Mr Pants."
Dazai looked extremely proud.
"Ango and I are scumming people. We put some fake donation boxes. People are glad to spare some mora."
Ango, who was counting mora coins, spoke carefully. He was looking at you, observing your reaction.
"We tell everyone, that this mora will be used for a new shrine."
You didn't need an effort to not flinch. You spent enough time with Hawthorne to stop flinching every time the topic of religion came up.
Fyodor spoke next.
"And Sigma and I created a casino. Cards, some machines with toys for kids. Some prizes are unique and appealing to many. And almost impossible to win. But, as you know, everyone wants to play again."
Sigma shrugged.
"The prizes for everyone were my idea."
You dropped the coin back to the pile. Your mouth moved, before you can think.
"It reminds me of an anecdote. Want to hear it? A funny short story?"
Everyone immediately perked up. They took it as a sign of your recovery. It was good, that you start recalling something funny.
"Okay, [Y/N], we are ready for the story!" Naomi pretend to be impatient.
Well, there is no going back. You cleared your throat and started.
"One day, American man, Japanese man and Russian man decided to have a competition and see, who will make cat eat mustard by its own violation. American man immediately grabbed a jar and force mustard down cat's throat."
"Hey, that's violence!" Russian man objects. “You have failed!”
A Japanese man spread mustard between two pieces of fish and wrapped it in bacon.
“Hey, that's a hoax!” Russian man objects. “You have failed!”
“Well, your turn!” Japanese man and the American man grin.
Russian man, without thinking twice, takes the jar and smears mustard under the cat’s tail. It, of course, immediately starts to lick mustard, trying to get it off. Cat licks and licks, even though she is yowling.
“Do you see that?!” - Russian man rejoices “Voluntarily and with a song!”
"You have an interesting taste in jokes, Myshonok." corners of Fyodor lips slightly raised up. On the background, Nikolai and Pushkin were howling with laughter.
Actually, everyone was at least smirking. Even Natsume look a little bit amused.
Francis scoffed.
He was making sure, that Ningguang and Pantalone will rot in slums.
And, it was a good thing, that no one would be able to help them.

before graduation: this side of paradise
ruth landry
I spent the summer before college working at an away camp in Tennessee. For two months, I lived in a cabin with a dozen thirteen-year-old girls and stood as a sweaty lifeguard on the dock of shallow lake. During my rare free time, I tried to finish all of the books that I had been assigned, but never actually read, during high school English class. The list was embarrassingly long; I had skated through high school on a combination of SparkNotes and the understanding that teachers wouldn’t pay much attention to me if I turned in work regularly. And that’s how, on the eve of my 19th birthday, I found myself reading F. Scott Fitzgerald’s This Side of Paradise by flashlight on a bunk bed in the middle of the Cumberland Plateau, Tennessee.
The story behind the novel’s publication was just as exciting as the novel itself. In 1919, Zelda Sayre broke off her engagement with twenty-two-year-old Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald. He didn’t make enough money, and seemingly never would. Fitzgerald was undeterred, and set to work on his novel (versions of which had already been twice rejected by Scribner’s) with the hope that upon its publication, Zelda would agree again to marry him. This time, he hurriedly cobbled together short stories, poems, a one act play, and his previous novel “The Romantic Egoist” into one disjointed narrative. This Side of Paradise was published in 1920. He and Zelda were married a week later.
It’s a sloppy first novel. The seams of Fitzgerald’s patchwork are immediately visible—almost two hundred pages pass before stage directions are suddenly introduced, a brief interlude is composed only of letters and poems, and the story itself is clearly made of several episodes rather than a linear plot. Yet Fitzgerald’s sharp wit and eye for detail make this unruliness seem playful and fresh, rather than merely haphazard.
The semi-autobiographical protagonist Amory Blaine is vain, lazy, convinced of his own genius, and prone to statements like, “I hate to get anywhere by working for it. I’ll show the marks, don’t you know.” And yet, he is also charming, imaginative, and occasionally self-aware. At Princeton, he befriends the few of his classmates who he takes to be smarter than himself, though any time they assert their talents, he sulks. He falls in and out of love with debutantes who enjoy shocking their peers with their cigarettes and their freely-given kisses. He pursues wealthy girls who have a tendency of making scornful declarations like, “It’s so hard to find a male to gratify one’s artistic tastes.”
Moments of growth are all the more harrowing for their brevity. At Princeton, Amory spends his nights alone, wandering the campus. One night, lying in a quad and gazing up at Princeton’s Gothic spires, Amory realizes his own “unimportance…except as the holder of the apostolic succession” and this “idea became personal to him.” This epiphany won’t change his character. In This Side of Paradise, self-knowledge is fleeting and often treated as just momentary anxiety. And despite his resolution to work hard at Princeton, Amory finds there are better things than school; after all, there are parties to attend and debutantes to kiss.
Like many coming-of-age stories, This Side of Paradise is an exploration of youthful folly—both of the protagonist, and in some ways, of the author. It is the immaturity of the author that makes the novel so interesting: it is the work of a young writer circling a message he couldn’t quite articulate, and surprisingly, the novel is all the better for it. In both subject and form, This Side of Paradise is a portrait of youth that is accurate because of its uncertainty—at eighteen, I understood the fragmented impulses of This Side of Paradise much better than the clear-sighted skill of The Great Gatsby.
At eighteen, I knew that Amory was selfish at best and amoral at worst, but he and the other characters in This Side of Paradise possess a candor and glamour that I admired. He constantly worries that Princeton is “conventionalizing” him, that he will “lose his personality;” I thought of my own stifling Catholic high school with chagrin. A girl compliments him on his “keen eyes” and he immediately tries “to make them look even keener;” I thought of my own silly tendency to pose in hopes of catching the attention of handsome strangers. When describing a childhood friend and future love interest, Amory thinks, “She had gone to Baltimore to live, but since then she had developed a past.” I scribbled it in my journal—it was so fitting, I hoped, for the adventure I was about to have. Amory’s downfall seemed to be an avoidable footnote to an otherwise desirable story, perhaps just an accident of the sketchily rendered novel, not at all a natural result of his laziness and egoism.
I won’t lie; part of me still resonates with Amory’s romance and rebellion. I do not regret the nights of college that I spent sneaking onto rooftops, ignoring work to gossip on a friend’s bed, attending parties and leaving parties with boys who soliloquized on Marxism, but who had embarrassing affinities for their fraternities. And I understand now what Amory means when he thinks to himself after leaving Princeton, “I don't want to repeat my innocence. I want the pleasure of losing it again.”
But as I prepare to graduate from college, This Side of Paradise no longer seems like the enticing literary proposal that I believed it to be at eighteen. At twenty-two, only a year younger than Fitzgerald was when he wrote the novel, I think if I were Zelda, I would be wary of my fiancé. For different scenes in This Side of Paradise draw my attention now. When Amory realizes his own unimportance while lying in the middle of a Princeton quad; I remember the nights in the library that I swore I would work harder—next semester. When Amory drops most of his clubs in a sudden fit of apathy; I think of all the activities fairs I skipped, content with just my hour on air at the student radio. And maybe it is just pre-graduation nerves, but when Amory realizes too late that his hardworking friends have “discovered the path he might have followed;” I can’t help but think of that pile of unread books, still growing on my bedside table.

In a post-2016 world, does the future look bright to you? How about the future of cinema? Just how much zeal for radical change a festival line-up can contain is examining our editor Yoana Pavlova – at International Film Festival Rotterdam, of course, where else...
Think pieces like this one are usually titled “The kids are all right,” or “The kids are not all right” – depending on the political sharpness honorable authors want to imbue their prose with. This is even more valid when the text is on cinema, young people in cinema, and/or millennials as protagonists.
One of those forever-young events that can serve as a fieldwork to research the next generation and its audiovisual tropes is International Film Festival Rotterdam. Albeit being 46-year-old, the Dutch festival had long figured out the recipe for eternal youth: #1 stay curious to fresh formats, media, and technologies #2 favor rebellious narratives #3 repeat. The easiest way to discover upcoming trends at IFFR is the Bright Future section, a showcase for “major new talents.” And judging from several titles in this year's line-up, all written and directed by upcoming authors in their late 20s or in their early 30s, kids are plotting a revolution, or at least something that looks like it.
Tumblr media
With an international premiere plus web series and installation, Anaïs Volpé's HEIS was probably the most visible face of young French cinema in Rotterdam. Dubbed the “French Lena Dunham” in the catalogue was not precisely in her favor, as Lena Dunham's name has some very complex connotations outside of France, where she is wholeheartedly adored as an indie goddess with easygoing yet unlimited creative potential. Still and all, Volpé's HEIS tells a very important story about the young people in France, who, as the film claims, moved directly from feeding bottles to unemployment doles. As of 2016, it is believed that Bertrand Bonello has the patent to speak of social unrest and political catharsis in France, and as a matter of fact his NOCTURAMA (2016) was also shown at IFFR accompanied by a discussion. Nevertheless, HEIS is far more sincere than Bonello's film, and has the advantage of being produced by someone who has more or less the same age as NOCTURAMA's personages whose actual motivation to set Paris on fire remains an enigma up until the dramatic end.
In addition, Volpé stars in her own project, thus crafting HEIS' docufiction plot with bits and pieces of her own autobiography, as well as personal fantasies, cultural references, pop-culture clichés, key geopolitical topoi. From Claude Chabrol's THE GOOD TIME GIRLS / LES BONNES FEMMES (1960) to Mathieu Kassovitz's LA HAINE (1995), the storyline and the visuals play with allusions in the best traditions of XXI-century French cinema, yet it is not neo-Amélie that emerges on the screen but a frenchified Frances Ha, stranger in a familiar land. What is also interesting in HEIS is that unlike so many millennials narratives that are preoccupied with romance, Volpé explores her relationship with her twin-brother vis-à-vis their mother (and the invisible presence of their father), thus charting superposed triangles with an imaginary self. This is how HEIS suggests that rebellion should occur first and foremost within the family, and growing up in a certain way can be an act of revolution too. This self-conscious curatorial approach towards life may put off some viewers who are still hoping for the impromptu power of the French New Wave to be reborn, but it is very effective in displaying the mechanisms that move today's youth.
Tumblr media
Another Bright Future film, whose director deliberately embedded himself in the spiel with several levels of irony, is SELF-CRITICISM OF A BOURGEOIS DOG / SELBSTKRITIK EINES BÜRGERLICHEN HUNDES (2017) by Julian Radlmaier. A film about shooting a film that makes Berlin hipsters mingle with the proletariat, Radlmaier's work is again a tribute to different directors, such as Werner Schroeter and Rosselini. Self-aware of its interactive scheme, as well as of its auteurish stance, SELF-CRITICISM OF A BOURGEOIS DOG fits the contemporary meme culture that urges many young people to adopt a slogan rhetoric they have no clear understanding of. With a well-articulated notion that solidarity differs from one generation to another, and from one culture to another, the ultra stylish revolution here is led by a mute, sneakers-wearing monk – an agent of Deus-ex-machina resolutions. At IFFR, it proved difficult to corner Radlmaier and obtain a clear statement about his political agenda, yet SELF-CRITICISM OF A BOURGEOIS DOG feels like it is friendly pulling the chain of the contemporary Left.
Another spiritual pilgrimage ushered by a Messiah-like figure unfolds in A BRIEF EXCURSION / KRATKI IZLET (2017) by Igor Bezinović. Narrated in retrospective by protagonist's voice-over, the film seems to tackle a generation of young people who are already adults (which is also to explain how come seven people can get lost in the woods, looking for an abandoned monastery). Nevertheless, the apparent lack of technology and the early-2000s clothes are just an excuse to look into a timeless cycle on the Balkans, in which youth comes to age in the context of the prevalent Dionysian culture, without a chance to analyze the world in a sober manner. Probably this is why A BRIEF EXCURSION is more engaged with literary works than cinema – based on the novel of the same title written by the Croatian Antun Šoljan in 1965, Igor Bezinović's film suits also the magic realism of Milorad Pavić and the quiet existentialism of Francis Scott Fitzgerald. The every-man-for-himself moral here is central, the revolution appears to be a matter of individual, spiritual salvation, and the collective – a utopia.
A slightly different type of Arcadia takes shape in A DECENT WOMAN / LOS DECENTES (2016) by Lukas Valenta Rinner. I attended the world premiere in Sarajevo, where the film was selected in the Official Competition and felt like a fresh breeze amidst the usual Balkan drabness. At first, the Austria / Argentina / South Korea production combo looked confusing in the context of Sarajevo, but then the deadpan humor à la the Greek New Wave turned out to be spot-on. In Latin American cinema, there is already a sub-genre about oppressed house help, yet it is the first time I see this narrative leading to an Epicurean Garden of sorts, only to destroy the paradise of equality and democracy with nihilistic gusto at the end. In Rotterdam, Lukas Valenta Rinner's film was in its natural habitat, but still, bitter jokes and dark fantasies aside, the question is – is a working-class revolution even imaginable nowadays?
If one needs a more realistic answer, maybe one has to look beyond IFFR's Bright Future programme. Some thoughts on two favorites of mine. PEOPLE POWER BOMBSHELL: THE DIARY OF VIETNAM ROSE (2016) by John Torres is a film about gestures, and a gesture per se. Examining the celluloid spirits trapped in the void of the post-colonial past, Torres is rather sceptic when it comes to re-writing history. On the most fragile medium he brings to life the underdeveloped shadows of Filipino cinema, with all political implications involved in this act of redemption, only to look with compassion and sadness at the result. The last feature of Jan Němec is a similar take on existential checks and balances that flows like a literary mystification. Released post-mortem, THE WOLF FROM ROYAL VINEYARD STREET / VLK Z KRÁLOVSKÝCH VINOHRAD (2016) gets even with the Czech New Wave, the French New Wave, festivals, the USA, Trump, and “the left-wing fools.” Footage of Jean-Luc Godard cutting the screen in Cannes in 1968 prompts for parallel with Mark Cousins smashing his DCP with an axe. The medium is no longer the message but the messenger to be shot in order to start a proper revolution. Enter Kafka and the counter-revolution.
If you are a film industry professional, you can watch titles from IFFR's Bright Future selection on Festival Scope

Description: You spend time with Q and Fitzgerald. You three are baking pancakes.
Warning: OOC. Q's gender isn't specified. Fluff. English is my second language
You looked around the kitchen.
You close your eyes and shake your head.
Then, you open your eyes and looked around again.
The kitchen table with eight bags of flour, seven sticks of butter, nine big containers of milk, five bottles of syrup, five bottles of whipped cream, a few dozen eggs, and four bags of brown sugar had not disappeared.
You gaze at Fitzgerald and Q. Tycoon and kid looked a little bit ashamed.
"Francis, Q, do you realize, what is the main reason for dairy to be put on sale?"
Francis cleared his throat and answered.
"Well, [Y/N], do you think I have visited supermarkets every day? Or at all?"
Kyuusaku hugged their doll closer and utter:
"And I was..."
You raised your hand.
"Okay, let me rephrase my question. Why no one of you checked the expiration date?"
Fitzgerald and Q try their best not to look at you.
You sigh. These two
Who knew, that Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, Leader of The Guild and Kyuusaku Yumeno, also known as Q, would become shopping buddies?
Francis, despite getting his fortune back, still enjoyed sales in shops. And Q liked chaos during sales.
You can't blame Francis. There was something special in Sales, and weren't thinking only about lower prices. Sometimes, you could find something interesting in during Sales, be it a good bag, nice clothes, interesting book, tasty food or so many others important or good things.
Today, Francis and Q have stumbled on a sale in your local supermarket. They returned home with bags full of products from sale. They got home. You helped them unpack. Only for you three to saw, that almost all products (except brown sugar, eggs and flour) will soon expire. And, by soon, you mean tomorrow.
That's how you three got in that situation.
Well, no use to just stand there.
"We three are transforming breakfast into dinner"
__________
"Francis, please, break eggs in a separate bowl. Pancakes with eggshells taste terrible. But have a nice crunch."
"Did eggshell got into your pancake on incident or Tetchou tried to cook again?"
"First, Tetchou not that bad of a cook. Second, it was a bet."
"How it ended?"
"With a lecture from Akiko and half-eaten pancakes in the garbage bin."
____________
"Kyuusaku, please, don't add too much sugar."
"Can I make a few pancakes that sweeter than others?"
"Made them on bunny-shaped pan."
_____________
"Careful with flour, [Y/N]. You almost covered the whole table and my doll in it."
"Sorry... Achoo!"
"Bless you, [Y/N]"
"Thanks you two."
___________
"And Miss Louisa was wondering why we need four pancake pens. I was sure that they will be useful."
"Francis, in a house full of people there is no such thing as useless tableware, pan, clothes, shampoo and so on, and so forth.
__________
"Fitzgerald, are pancakes doing good?"
"Everything is great, [Y/N]. How's the last bowl of pancake butter?"
"Almost finished. Kyuusaku?"
"I am adding jam and whipped cream. No problems from my part."
_________
It took time. But, at the end, you three manage to bake enough pancakes to feed a small army.
You feel proud. You noticed, that two other 'cooks' also looked pleased.
Kyuusaku turned to you and Fitzgerald. They were wearing matching aprons with their doll.
"What we are going to cook next time? When we will cook together?"
You and Fitzgerald exchanged glances.
"Maybe, when we will be on a cooking duty next time. As for the food... I am not sure, my young friend. What do you think, [Y/N]?"
You shrug.
"Will see. Just, please, don't buy almost expired food on purpose. If you want to spend time together, just ask."
Fitzgerald's quiet laugh and Q's giggles were their only answer.

Self-Aware! BSD x SAGAU Imposter AU Crossover ideas. The Guild Edition
Part [I] [II] [III] [IV] [VI] [Vll] [VIII] [XI]
💰 Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald is destroying people of Teyvat financially. Fine print, written in English ("Oh, it's just my special paper. It's an ornament") in a contract, and most of Ninguang's finances are now belongs to Fitzgerald. And he is sure, that slimes can only be destroyed with 10 000 000 000 000 mora punch.
Spoils you even more. Doesn't matter, what you want, he will buy it to you.
🦝 Edgar Allan Poe will use his ability to kidnap people. He will make mystery novels, that can't be solved without knowledge from real world. He will left kidnapped people in a wilderness.
He will write a mystery novel specifically for you. Karl will often curl on your lap.
🐋 Herman Melville stays in the real world and takes care of you. Makes sure, that there are food in the fridge, that taxes are paid.
Scared Fontaine's people with disguised Moby Dick up in the sky.
🐙 Teyvat's waters are no longer save. Howard Phillips Lovecraft is now there, lurking, waiting. He is destroying ships.
Brings you beautiful fishes from Teyvat. Now you have a huge fish tank with unique colorful fishes. If you wish, he will bring blubberbeast to you.
🍇 John Steinbeck destroy crops with his ability. It was discussed, that, in case, he and Kyuusaku will fuse their abilities again. Kyuusaku have agreed to participate in this plan.
Brings your fruits from Teyvat. Will pick the freshest ones.
☕ Lucy Maud Montgomery, same as Poe, kidnaps people. But she won't leave them in the wilderness, no. She will keep them in Annie's room. Forever, if situation calls for it.
Lucy will keep you company, will make you coffee. Will bring you plush toys from Teyvat.
🪶 Louisa May Alcott will create plan after plan to bring "Creator's" followers down.
She will bring you new books. Will read them together with you.
👒 Margaret Mitchell is using wings to destroy Mondstadt's mills and vineyards. Her ability has nothing to do with elemental energy, so, Venti can't stop her.
Mitchell will bring you new clothes. Will bring silk from Teyvat. Will try to make you something.
♊ Mark Twain will do some sniper work. He won't kill anyone, but will cripple Knights of Favonius, millelith solders etc...
Mark will try to make you laugh. Will let you use Tom and Huck as dress-up toys.
✝️ Nathaniel Hawthorne will try to make "Creator's" followers stop believing in them. He will point at how they can't stop Geo Demons (Chuuya and Verlaine), Anemo's Witch (Mitchell), Mechanical Imp (Kauai), etc. Slowly will make people lose faith.
He will listen to you whenever you need, even in the middle of the night. Will be supportive.

Questions for Sagau imposter x Bsd AU!
1.Are you going to release a prologue on how reader got in genshin impact and their journey?
2.Are you going to also release the before reader got in genshin impact, and met bsd characters?
3. What if fake creator finds out ABT the portal where they can go to the real world, will fake creator send someone in to report? If yes then who will fake creator send?
4. Are you taking requests rn?
5.Can I be Anon 🌙?
Reminder: Eat healthy foods, drink water occasionally, exercise daily, and rest daily. I hope your doing good.
-Anon 🌙
1.I will. I have almost finished prologue, one shot. It mostly focused on BSD Cast being worried about Reader's disappearance, but, the big chunk of is focused on telling about Reader's being chased around Teyvat. Without too many details, because, the one-shots will have flashbacks about Reader's 'interactions' with Genshin Impact characters.
For now, I have in mind next one-shots:
Self-Aware! Fyodor Dostoevsky x GN! Reader x Self-Aware! Dazai Osamu (Reader have some general memories about Teyvat, maybe, a scene with Neuvillette)
Self-Aware! Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald x GN! Reader (with memories about Ningguang and Pantalone)
Self-Aware! Saigiku Jounou x GN!Reader (either with Narukami Shrine, Watatsumi island or Mondstadt's cathedral)
Self-Aware! Ranpo Edogawa x GN! Reader (with memories about Tartaglia, but it can be changed)
I also have Self-Aware! Akutagawa Ryunosuke x GN! Reader with Diluc scene and a question about hilichurls protecting Reader.
2. Maybe, as a part of main AU, but, it will take time.
3. If Fake Creator Found about the portal, they will send people to investigate it. They will send Travelers. Maybe, if portal was discovered before BSD Cast start actively causing harm, Fake Creator might investigate it themselves.
4. You can send a request, but, it will be put on hold, until finish with requests from this list.
5. Yes, you can. Welcome, 🌙 Anon
I am doing good, thank you for your concern :)

Self-Aware BSD meet the Internet. Short № 3
Description: After BSD gand gain an acsess to the rest of your phone, they also gain the acsess to the internet and YouTube. Unknown to you, they accompany you while you serf the Internet.
Slight Crack. OOC. Some dark humour in the A/N.
Self-Aware! Nikolai Gogol, Self-Aware! Francis Scott Key Fitzgerald, Self-Aware! Platonic! Alexander Pushkin, Self-Aware! Katai Tayama
Dazai, Akutagawa, Yosano, Ango and Junchirou cameos.
[Y/N] are watching this video:
In your phone/ BSD Mayoi app.
Dazai: Why? Why our dear Guiding Light are looking at that creature?
Akutagawa: *huffs and glares at the pug* If they have a real dog, I hope, it could be trained and it won't bother us.
Yosano: Maybe our dear [Y/N] just love animals. Be easy, you two.
Junchirou:*thinks for a moment. Then spoke loudly* Hey, everyone, I have an idea. Let's add a new card to the game with someone of us will hold a pug. I will use Light Snow to create a pug illusion.
Everyone agrees. They start discussing, who will be on the card. Suddenly, Pushkin steps in.
Pushkin: I was browsing the Internet earlier and found a story about Pushkin and Gogol from [Y/N] world. Something about their world Pushkin giving a pug to their world Gogol. There also was a merchant in that story. Let's recreate it. Gogol and I, plus Fitzgerald on the background.
After some discussion, gang agree.
They were ready. Pushkin was handing a pug to Gogol. Nikolai looked surprised. And Fitzgerald was standing on the background, smiling. Ango took the photo. Then him and Katai add new SSR card in game and send it to your Gift Box.
[Next day]
In BSD Mayoi app
BSD gang heard you.
[Y/N]: New gift? Okay, let me see.
Suddenly, you became silent. BSD gang became nervous. You start Google something.
[Y/N]: Why, devs? Just why?
Everyone was confused. Why you didn't like the card?
Katai: *who was monitoring, what you were looking at* Um... Pushkin, have you read the whole story about the pug?
Pushkin: *shake his head* No. Why? Certainly it wasn't something aful in the story, right?
Katai: *instead of answering, he turn on the screen, where everyone can read, what you were reading*
When they finished reading, Pushkin was nervous, Fitzgerald and Gogol was angry.
________________________________
For the next three days, Nikolai Gogol were a noisy neighbor to Pushkin. While he wasn't playing music or singing, he made so much noise, that others started thinking, that Gogol really was making sacrifices.
Gogol calmed on his own. Fitzgerald's help wasn't needed.
As for you, you do like the card. But, you were wondering, why in the world Pushkin's sprites has bags under their eyes.
_______________________________________
A/N: Story about Gogol's pug. It never happened in reality.
Gogol loved his pug Josie very much. She was a gift from Pushkin. When the dog died (Gogol did not feed the animal for weeks), Nikolai Vasilyevich became really sad.
Gogol began to have nightmares. Once, in a dream, the pug told Nikolai Vasilyevich that he was the Master and High Priest of the Ecumenical Order of the Octagon.
From that day on, the life of Nikolai Vasilyevich changed dramatically: every night an incomprehensible sacrifices began to take place in his apartment. These events were accompanied by ritual dances and singing of the choir.
A few days later, Nikolai Vasilievich's neighbor, the merchant Skorobeinikov, beat Gogol up. The hallucinations stopped the same day.
