Round 2 will be posted between Wednesday, November 29th and Tuesday, December 5th. It will be split between 4 sets, each set being posted on a different day. Michael could feel his head pounding, and knew it wouldn't be too much longer until he had to feed again. Blood was hard to come by, without breaking into another vampire safe house, but it wasn't to that point yet. He knew that it would put the vampires on his and Selene's tail, and they were already hunted enough. The run-down house they were currently hiding in had holes in the roof and did not feel safe, but Michael did not smell vampires or lycans anywhere near them. It would give them at least some time to figure out their next move before continuing onward.

"Penny for your thoughts?" Michael approached Selene, trying to keep his distance a bit as to not overwhelm her.

Two ways to potentially kill him, instead of only one. But then, Michael was also living off all the benefits of both worlds, so, maybe, he should not complain too much.

"And no, we did not leave on bad terms. It is more...." Another pause. Sometimes, Michael was not sure if he could trust all of the memories of his real life. It was not easy, seeing he had not experienced any of this before. But then, the man assumed no one had really, at the end of the day. "Think I've died before coming here to Sydney, you see? So, I have no idea how Selene and our daughter are holding up without me. If they are even here, that is. Like, if not, this is maybe some odd version of Heaven or Hell for the undead, or whatever. Not that I do believe in such things, but yeah."
