Chiron Observations: Chiron in the Houses 🍄

Chiron is an asteroid named after the Centaur who taught Achilles, who used his own traumas to become a great teacher. Chiron is not the only place traumas can show up in a chart, but it does show up in places where trauma can be your biggest teacher if your work through it properly— those instances in your past that hurt you greatly that you can turn into your greatest strength. These traumas usually happen in early life.

Chiron in the Houses show us where your trauma shows up, more than exactly what the cause was or how it happened.

This man don't need any introduction. World regards him as one of the great scientist ever lived. Here is his chart below:

German-Swiss-American scientist, a physicist who developed the theory of relativity in 1905, and the general theory in 1916, laying the groundwork for 20th century physics and providing the essential structure of the cosmos. He was awarded the 1922 Nobel Prize for his contributions to theoretical physics, especially for his discovery of the photo-electric effect law. His name has been synonymous with genius, and the scientific definitions of the modern age--ranging from the Bomb to space travel, electronics and quantum physics - all bear the stamp of his conceptualizations.

His childhood:

Einstein was born with a misshapen head and abnormally large body to Hermann Einstein and Pauline Koch in Ulm. He learned to talk so late that his parents feared that he was mentally retarded, not until he was three, and was not fluent until he was nine. The reason for his physical disadvantage is obviously the debilitated and afflicted lagna Lord Mercury. Mercury is debilitated in 10th house and afflicted with saturn and sun. The weakness of Mercury affected his speech. Mercury is not in a good shape as it's afflicted in navamsa too with saturn and ketu.

His career:

In 1905, he published three seminal papers on theoretical physics. In 1907, he came up with the immortal e=mc2, better known as the Special Theory of Relativity, encapsulating energy and matter as aspects of a single phenomenon. In 1908, while still at the patent office, he began work on his major achievement, the general theory of relativity, which he officially proposed in 1916. The theories were the greatest challenge to Newtonian mechanics that the modern world had ever known. Most of his achievements came to light in the dasha of Venus. Venus is strongly posited in 10th house with exaltation. Venus being the 5th Lord, it provides superior intelligence as it's exalted. Not only that, Venus is placed in Aquarius navamsa. Aquarius is known for scientific innovations. If you look at his birth chart, you could see that he has prominent karmas related to career as his 10th house got stellium (Venus, Mercury, sun and saturn). Mercury , Venus and saturn combination provides a great rajyoga for Gemini rising. It is present in 10th house of career. So he was destined to shine in his work field. Ascendant Lord in 10th house made him occupied in his work. His works were quite imaginary. His famous quote goes like this : "Imagination is important than knowledge. " His quote reflects his piscean quality of unique imagination which gave birth to his scientific discoveries. His Mars is exalted in 8th house with rahu. So it gives a research mindset as 8th house is connected to research. His Rahu and Jupiter subperiods in Venus where he did great work. His Rahu is posited in 8th house of research with exalted Mars. His love life:

His first wife, Mileva Maric, was a Serbian who dreamed of becoming a physicist. She was 21 when she entered the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich. She had met Einstein when she was 17 and they were married in 1903. Mileva Marić and Albert Einstein met in 1896, when both enrolled in the course VIA for intending teachers of mathematics and physics in secondary schools. From the letters they exchanged from late 1897 through 1898 it is evident that they soon developed a close relationship. It is prominent that he had met his girl in Venus period and Venus subperiod. So, a functional benefic and 5th lord of romance Venus sparked love in Einstein's life. His Venus is in Aquarius navamsa which indicates that his wife might be involved in science. But they were seperated later. His affliction to Venus from saturn and sun made his love life very difficult. There is a lot of mystery surrounding his child. The daughter was named Lieserl and soon mysteriously vanished. His 5th Lord Venus is conjunct with mysterious 8th Lord Saturn which reflects his daughter's secret disappearance.

His other aspects of life:

He was not always comfortable with the theories and findings in physics for which he had laid the groundwork. A musician by hobby, he gave up the violin in the last few years of his life, but enjoyed playing Bach and Mozart on his grand piano. His powerful Venus in exaltation provides him interest in music. He was infidel in 1912 due to his Venus in Aquarius navamsa which is known for breaking boundaries. From 1922 until 1932, with the exception of a few months in 1923 and 1924, Einstein was a member of the Geneva-based International Committee on Intellectual Cooperation of the League of Nations, a group set up by the League to encourage scientists, artists, scholars, teachers and other people engaged in the life of the mind to work more closely with their counterparts in other countries. He was going through moon period which made him part of service since moon is present in 6th house of service. In March and April 1925, Einstein and his wife visited South America, where they spent about a week in Brazil, a week in Uruguay and a month in Argentina. It was in Jupiter subperiod. Jupiter in 9th house of exploration made him travel. In 1939, he urged President Roosevelt to move towards construction of a uranium bomb, since there was some evidence other countries were also moving in that direction. He had given up his pacifist ideals in 1939 as his Mars is quite strong in Capricorn. His Mars is conjunct Rahu. Mars Rahu combination is infamous for extreme violence. In his case, this combination is formed in 8th house of secrecy. So it indicates that he had a violent part in him which was quite hidden from public.

The greatest trick to be played on humanity is the concept of boxes, labels & identities.. the issue with this, is that the labels we choose to assign to ourselves (or that are given to us) often come with set rules, regulations, restrictions & codes of conduct (whether said or implied) that don’t make room for the complexities of our beings.. for the parts of us that exist on a spectrum, rather than at a fixed point. These rules often prevent us from branching out beyond said groups in order to question, observe, or take in new information that may challenge our perception & conditioning. Doing so can often lead to disapproval, rejection, or even isolation from the group.. which can be triggering, considering we are a communal people who thrive off of connection & intimacy with others.

Not only does this illusion of separation keep us from coming together as a people.. this way of thinking is literally designed to get the mind to think & exist inside of a box; it causes the mind to be rigid; so that it blocks the flow 🌊 of our creative life force energy—which severely impedes the journey of self actualization.

Our minds must be adaptable, forward thinking, & innovative. They must be able to upgrade (Uranus). When the mind is rigid, it stays bound (Saturn) to the limited information it already knew, which is the exact phenomenon that causes us to stay stuck in certain (karmic) cycles.

are you a linguist or etymologist? biologist? your posts are so fascinating and it seems like you have a wild amount of background knowledge, the way you connect all these seemingly disparate concepts with such detail. i especially love the connections you draw between PCOS and pearls. there’s something so intrinsic about eating and working with plants that have the visual appearance of oocytes/string of pearls; since quitting BC and trying to manage my PCOS with whole food/herbs/mindful practice, some of my greatest plant allies have been red raspberry (all her parts), barberry (berberine), and mugwort, as well as eating a lot of eggs.

once i developed a basic level of comfort and familiarity working with plants, i started noticing what “called out” to me as i walked in the woods, plants that would seem to stand out and appear to me over and over, and every single time i’d go home and research them i would find a connection with fertility, ovulation, or PCOS. i was camping once for a few days and started drinking yarrow and red clover tea because they were growing everywhere around where i set up, and i got my period a few days into the trip. it was my very first painless period, and since then i’ve been using yarrow regularly for menstrual pain, and red clover to help my cervical mucus production. the first few times this kind of thing happened to me, it blew my mind, and while it still never ceases to amaze me, i’ve pretty much come to expect it at this point. i’ve only met one other woman, also a fertility awareness practitioner and womb healer, who saw these kinds of connections and understood them to be legitimate and intrinsic. so i really love reading the connections you make and i feel so seen in your ability to make them. it’s really a gift, not in the sense of “i’m so gifted,” but in the sense of being a gift given to me by the circumstances of my life, including PCOS and including the descent into hell that modern gynecological “solutions” turned out to be for me. a gift i am able to receive only as a result of having walked the path of pain and suffering that drove me to finally take things into my own hands and tune into herbalism and body literacy.

so, i’m curious, if you feel comfortable answering, how did you come to think like this (i call it “mycelial thinking”), to make connections the way you do? it seems exceedingly rare and it’s incredibly refreshing. i’d love to hear about your source material, whether that’s life experiences, formal study, informal study, simple observation, etc. your words and thought processes on this blog are really something to behold, and i’m so grateful to have found them and to bear witness. <3

I consider myself a bootleg biologist. I have always been a decent writer. As a young child, I read the dictionary and chose words that I liked and would break them down in my mind. My parents called me Ms. Webster🕷️🕸️👩🏾‍💻 (after the dictionary) && still do til this day. I’ve always had my own way, but it wasn’t until my 9th & 11th grade English teachers + the word weaving of a very TRILL(ium) Oracle on Twitter that I began to learn & trust where my gnosis (MY NOSE, SIS !👃🏾) was taking me this entire time.

I am called::cauled by plants && that began as a teen. My mind is able to highlight data gathered thru various means::memes::memories. It could be as simple as a certain verse in a song & I observe that a plant really enjoys that song. It then takes my hand & leads me on a whole trip. From that trip, I aim and practice removing myself enough to tell the story that Data (Deity) wants told.

What’s peculiar about PCOS, as much as it is a curse, I find it to be a strange blessing (second chance). I was discussing it with another person I found on here @themadsorceressgrimoires. She attributes PCOS with Saturn (as do I, through the sign Libra in which Saturn is amiable with). The Master of Lessons.

Now, order is being restored through what looks (and feels) like a curse. Now, girls will know that it all begins and ends with their bodies.

Much like the pearl, an almost indestructible drop of beauty created by a wound.

Pain (not sadomasochism) tends to bring the sincerity (sense-airity) out of a person. And that’s what calls the plants to you.

Chiron “The Wounded Healer”

Chiron is also known as the wounded healer. Chiron is not a planet some say it's a comet while others say it's an asteroid,  it was first discovered in 1977 close to Saturn and Uranus. It got its name from Chiron the centaur in Greek mythology. Chiron has a half man and half horse body, due to his form his mother abandoned him and Chiron focused on being a teacher and healer instead of feeling the pain of being rejected and shamed for being different. The sun god Apollo adopted Chiron and taught him everything he knew. There are many versions on his death but we will go on with this version that follows. On one occasion when chiron was handing a poisoned arrow to a student (Hercules), the arrow fell on his leg and pierced it. Since his father was a god, Chiron was immortal so he couldn’t die. He was in so much pain and continued to live in agonizing pain he prayed to the gods to let him die, the gods were filled with gratitude for his teaching that they granted him his wish and he went up to heaven, becoming  one of the biggest constellations “Centaurus”.  Chiron’s lesson for everyone is that instead of basking in the pain of your wounds and suffering, you shall learn and teach others so that they don’t have to go through that same painful experience.

Etymology: Chiron is sometimes spelled “cheiron” from ancient greek word “cheir” meaning “hand” therefore chiron can be translated to “he of the skillful hands”

In Greek mythology: Chiron's father was Cronus and his mother was Philyra, a water nymph.  Chirons knowledge was extensive, he was most commonly known for his expertise in healing and medicine. Various other sources claimed he was knowledgeable in the art of warfare, hunting, music,  astronomy, and rules of ritual. Chiron trained many heroes and possibly some gods in these arts. One of Chiron’s most important students was Achilles, the greatest hero of the Trojan War. Ironically Chiron was a healer who could not heal himself.

Chiron represents our immortal wound that may never heal but at the same time it is our potential capacity to heal other people. Chiron can symbolize the bridge between the spiritual and material ( half animal and half divine being). From the story of Chiron we can see how Chiron represents the themes of rejection, abandonment, & shame solely because he was different. Chiron shows us our unconscious wounds, usually wounds we bring with us from a past life, usually a karmic wound which is meant to teach us something about ourselves, Chiron is here to help us remember what we are here to heal. Chiron also teaches us how to be different and embrace it.

In the natal chart chiron represents our deepest wounds and our efforts to heal it. Chiron in our chart shows us where we have healing powers as a result of our own spiritual wounds. We must first face the issue of low-self esteem or self-worth and the feelings of inadequacy in order to then rise above them. Due to the wound being a deep one we must work hard to overcome it, for some this may take a lifetime , but on the other hand our healing powers are potent wherever chiron is present. Where chiron is placed and the sign or planets in connection with it show us our deep knowledge, experience, wisdom, and talents. Even when our own experience with the issue may be problematic, we gain experience and can teach and guide others in these areas of life. The wounded healer shows us our wounds and how we can use them as our power The house & sign where Chiron is in can show us where our wound is and how we go about expressing it , how we shoot ourselves in the foot, how we nurse our wounds, and how we go our own way.  It can also show us areas of our life we feel rejected, where we feel we do not fit in, where we feel like we are lacking in or feel abandoned or where we choose to move in our own unique way. 

The 3 archetypes associated with Chiron:

The Wounded Hero: Our first experience with the wound, at this stage the wound is not acknowledged yet. Most people ignore this wound their entire lives. The wound is now just hidden in the background of the unconscious , this allows for the wound to sabotage in unconscious ways. Most of us continue to live life with the wound because we are not aware of it. This is when the wound becomes so painful to ignore, leading to the 2nd archetype “the shaman” “ The wound could destroy your or it can wake you up”

The Shaman: The shaman is the medicine man/woman who has the ability to travel in between worlds. This magnificent ability presents them with healing powers. The ability to travel between worlds can be used as a metaphor for the ability to integrate the different areas of our psyche; the good, the bad, and the ugly. Healing can be found when all parts of ourselves are integrated . The shaman is the most intense chiron development stage , but it is vital to embrace it if we want to alchemize our wounds into gifts.

The Alchemist: once we have healed the wound it transforms into a gift. At this stage peace, love, ease, joy, and grace replace the old torments and pain. We can see that we are all on a healing journey and are mirrors of each other in many ways. It is then that we can see the power of love for self and others. 

Our deepest wounds are our biggest gifts in disguise. It's exactly the part of us which is unusual, odd, or different that allows us to be creative and heal our wounds where traditional methods fail.

Saturn, Marriage, and Government

In the occult, Saturn is the Shepherd planet who rules over agriculture (and we are the sheep!) Saturn rules government and contracts such as marriage...and it is crazy how the latin etymology of government is essentially mind control as govern= "shepherd" and ment= "mind", that means we are handing our love affairs over to a higher power-- the government--- for it to become another statistic. Our marriages are governed. I can't explain right now but it has more power in these relationships of ours than we are aware of. Not in a conspirtal way, necessarily, but it is the "Order of the Ages". .. if they can buy your name and face as a franchise (celebrity-hood) and manage it, they can buy your love affair too. Even block it.

Makes me think of the song Stolen Dance, "I hope they didn't get your mind..." "take back the time they have stolen from us."

Saturn is Faather time, his black cube represents the time matrix. And Saturn is The Law, Karmic law, Law of Timing, Law of the souls maps. there is no escaping. Our pre-ordained contract is the sacred law. Our marriage is our divine right, as well as a sacred duty, this is another (less romantic and even less metaphysical take on twin flames) twin flames represent DIVINE LAW and ORDER in the kosmos/kaos.

Every single reincarnation they will be together. Blessed and damned to one another for an eternity! These soul marriages are an eternal thing. As some Juungian artistic representations demonstrate, the twin flame is a man and woman in one body, IMO, traansfiguration at death refuses these soul-mates , they are sitting on a loveseat in heaven (or the astral plane), merged.

Each religion, civilisation, tribe or consciousness at play has practiced fasting in some way, form or the other.

The extent or methods of fasting have varied throughout history, however what has kept constant is the act of saying no or placing restraints upon oneself.

The benefits of fasting in this age of Aquarius have been widely observed, documented and relayed.

— The Midheaven or the 10th house in astrology represents where one can find success. The achievement of a goal and acknowledgement for it; a favorable outcome of anything undertaken; the gaining of riches, rank, and honors are all examples of success.
