This weekend was my favorite local festival, the Salmon Days! The event is hosted by a local salmon hatchery, and dedicates a weekend in October every year to celebrate the return of the salmon! Our local breeding program is very successful, and we regularly see thousands of salmon returning!
I remember the first year I moved to Washington, I was skeptical of the festival. I mean, who would celebrate a bunch of fish? But I quickly grew attached to the festival, and now my family and friends make attending it a yearly tradition!
I was given the great idea of writing shitposts/blooper reels for my Rodamrix's Among Us Animated fic series, Gone Are The Days, and thought of a silly oneshot to kickstart the bloopers, based around my favorite Impostor due attending Salmon Days! Y'all can read it here!
I also decided to doodle them bc the mental image of Pink in a comically large salmon hat is too great to leave un-doodled.
“Hahah. Perhaps. You are small now- you’ll grow. And one day, you’ll make a great imposter!”
I just absolutely love the idea that big foreboding characters can make amazing parents. I like to think that Indigo was a great parent to baby Purple- just wanted to do something cute 💜
I just realized... Purple is always serious, and Red is always serious as well... After watching the whole series, I see them as frenemies where they always try to kill each other at first, but in the end they'll work together.
Also, I 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 Purple and Red would work with each other because of how they can relate such as being infected, although Purple is more aware of things than Red, so I think Purple would have to educate Red on what's really happening.
The two of them are officially my favorite characters from the show.
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR RODAMRIX'S AMONG US ANIMATED, MAINLINE SERIES SEASON 2.
I had a devious idea related to Indigo and their family, and after getting some extra inspo from my pal I present you amogus angst >:3
Indigo can't get a break. Now he has nobody left. Alone.
Alone at the edge of a universe humming a tune
For merely dreaming we were snow
A siren sounds like the goddess who
Promises endless apologies of paradise
And only she can make it right
So things are different tonight
