Also I have to say one of the (many) things I really love about your writing is all the different advice different characters give to cope or help someone and it often contradicts other characters advice on similar problems because their logic on how to deal with life is shaped on their upbringing and experiences and it makes interactions so cool. And then you write them growing and changing like yeah, "maybe this is problably a shit way of dealing with problems and I'm working on it, but in my defense it's how I survived" like fuck yeah idk if this makes sense ILYSM ok I'm rambling bye <3

I try to look at each character as an individual and I put a lot of effort into looking at the situation through their eyes (which is probably why I avoid a Zuko pov lol) but yeah! As situations change & characters get to know each other better things should hopefully continue to evolve lol.

Note that this is a list of personal favorites based on my likes and the many (yet not all existent) fics I’ve read. They’re not put in any particular order and they’re all completed fics. I’m adding some of the tags, but not all of them since I don’t want to make this post extra long, so please read them again once you go to the Ao3 link. And finally, if anyone is anime-only, even if a fic is spoiler free, it’s likely that it’ll have some reference to Genya’s abilities or family relationships, so be careful.

Beautifully written, fantastic humor, and just GenTan inevitably falling for each other (both romantically and literally).

The sun is already down by the time they arrive and the colorful paper lanterns bathe the streets with a faint whimsical warm glow, highlighting the easy smiles of the festival attendees and the natural glisten of the fresh food in the stalls. Their eyes immediately go to the makeshift gate made with bent bamboo, all adorned with people’s written wishes, to be sent to the heavens by the end of the night.

Genya’s handwriting is shaky but hopefully the crooked words will carry his wish just fine.

Sweet, sweet, sweet.

(Or, sharing a night at a festival with Genya should’ve been easy, if it wasn’t for an unexpected event and Tanjirou himself getting in the way)

The requests are Cupid, sweet heart, and miss you with Swtiches!Miri, Kazuki, and Rei! And, to help get the creative brain juices flowing, how about it starts with Kazuki chasing and tickling Miri, and Rei having absolutely no idea what they’re doing. “Nohohohohoho! Pahahhapahahaha!” She cried, squealing as he gathered her up, pressing tickly kisses into her cheek. “Ahehehehehehehehe!”

“Ehhhh..” Rei groaned at the table, watching as Miri and Kazuki goofed about. It was way, way too early in the morning for all this noise, cute or not. “Don’t actually eat her now, Kazuki. What are we gonna tell the daycare?”

“Pahahhahapahahah Reiiiiii! Sahhahahahve meheeheheheheh!” Miri cried, reaching out her little hand to him.

“Papa Rei can’t save you now, little girl!” Kazuki teased, tickling her under the arm just to hear her squeal again. “I, the tickle monster, am unstoppable.”

There was that word again. Rei blinked. “Tickle?”

The question made Kazuki pause, blinking at Rei with intrigue. “You don’t know what that is?” Miri’s giggles calmed some as she looked between her papas.

“Does it hurt?” Rei asked, brows furrowing at the utter shock on the blonde’s face. “Forget I said anything.”

“Papa?” Miri asked, looking up at Kazuki. Said man hummed, nodding to himself. Then he smiled, whispering into Miri’s ear. When she nodded, he put her down on her feet.

“Hey Rei? When’s the last time you smiled?” Kazuki asked conversationally, walking up and boxing the other in.

“Don’t know. When’s the last time you embarrassed yourself?” Rei snickered, pleased. He blinked when Miri suddenly appeared in his lap. “Hello there, shrimp.”

“Ready?” Kazuki asked.

“Ready!” Miri declared.

“Ready?” Rei didn’t get to ask anymore questions. He stiffened upon feeling fingers dig into his ribs, prodding at the highest bone. Miri’s own hands wiggled against his belly, tapping against his thin t-shirt.

At first, Rei didn’t know how to react. It felt…tingly. Not painful tingly, just…tingly. And then…

“Ah! Ahehhehehehehe! Wh-Whoaohhahahhaa!” Breathy laughter tumbled past his lips, barely above a whisper as he tried to gently push Miri and Kazuki’s hands away. “Whahahhat are yohohohou dohoohohoing?”

“Tickling you, duh!” Kazuki laughed, delighted. “Oh? Is someone ticklish?” He cooed, enjoying the way Rei’s ears flushed.

“Hehe! Papa Rei’s laugh’s funny!” Miri cheered. “Now we get Papa Kazuki!”

“What? No, we’re getting Papa-” The blonde couldn’t finish his sentence. One minute he was moving his hands up towards Rei’s armpits, the next he was flat on his back, his partner glaring down at him with murderous intent.

“Uh…hehe…I’m not ticklish?” He offered.

“You’ve always been a terrible liar.” Rei mused before attacking Kazuki’s stomach with relentless fingers. “Like this, right?”

“AHHH AHEHAHHAHHAHAHAHA!” Kazuki all but cackled, nearly exploding from the feeling. Rei was certainly a fast learner.

“Yay! Papa Kazuki’s laugh is funny!” Miri laughed and laughed, rocking on her butt and pointing. Rei couldn’t help but snicker at her adorable reaction.

“It sure is. Come on Miri- help me get your papa.”

I have to make an entire school map, Choose teachers, choose students and their grades, choose majors, clubs, friend groups, its reader insert aswell, make up a council (which should be easy if i was going with archons but noooo i just had to have favouritism and choose other ppl for it now everyone has a role except one person and i cant find any more roles sooo), make their relationships make sense (i made ei scara's sis, how the f do i explain their relationship), who has which class with who so who knows who

And the worst part? I don't have an actual full build plot, the only thing i have in mind are some random texts(like a chatfic, smau, covos, scenes, etc..) so... Yeah you can say i'm torturing myself over nothing, and i don't have the courage to share this with anyone either, like i have no friends who can understand english(its too much work to translate it) or if they do they dont know genshin, i dont have a blog either soooo yeah, its... Fun?
